unauthorized transaction
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 64 votes
Company information:
IW/Living Lean in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada
United States

I ordered from Wui Tea, returned the product and received a refund. I now have an unauthorized (signature based POS) transaction for $19.95 from the above company. Based on web research, apparently these 2 companies are connected. I know nothing about this company and never ordered or authorized them to debit my account. Wui Tea is nothing but a scam.

These people told me that i will be charged only $6.95. for this tea that does nothing for me. Then when i canceled this service, i talked to a lady who couldn't even speak english well...then she told me she was taking 29.95 out and i said fine as long as you do not take anything else out... Now it has been a month and they have wiped out my account with no money left, , not a dime...and so now i am charged a overdraft...I am very upset..not only do i want my money back to everything including extra...Extra for the pain of not having money in my account to buy groceries, get personal needs, and gas to drive back and forward to destinations...WU YI, was a waist of time and money. Now i want my money back and money for this waist of time...And you are right Nicole we need to got to court on ther A**...

I also ordered the tea, they dont tell you all the actual costs untill you check out, and they also sign you up for the living lean program automatically! I also called the number on my credit card statement, and it was the wrong number (nancy: above) I did actually get the correct number for the WuYi tea help email, the CORRECT NUMBER TO CALL AND CANCEL THIS IS 1-866-396-5711, GET A CANCELATION CONFORMATION NUMBER!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL!, MAN, THEY REALLY MUST BE ROLLING IN THE DOUGH WITH ALL OF US THAT THEY HAVE SCAMED!!!

I purchased a product from Wu-yi Tea and was unsatisfied with it and returned the product for a full refund. When receiving my credit card statement I noticed a charge from Living Lean (I had not purchased anything from this company). When phoning this company to complain about the charges the customer service representative said that if I had not cancelled with Living Lean within the same trial period as Wu-yi Tea I was charged as a result. No where on the Wu-yi Tea website is there any mention of this Living Lean company. I am quite upset that a company that I had not authorized any of my informtion to, had access to my credit card and charged me for a service that I still unsure of what they provide. I would not recommend Wu-yi Tea/ Living Lean to anyone, not unless you like to get unauthorized charges to your credit card!!!

The same thing has happened to me. I sent the tea back and I get my bank statement and I have been charged for this Living lean that I didn't order and have no idea even what it is. I called the no. provided by this site and I have cancelled it and recieved a conformation no. I am calling my bank to make sure they can't do this again. This is a total rip off . And you are right they are ripping people off and who knows how much money they are rolling in from all of us suckers out there. I am filing a complaint with the consummer protection agency and the BBB as well as the Attorney General . They should not be able to get away with this. I know its a hassel but if everyone complained and turned them in maybe that would stop them.

BASTARDS!!! I just got off the phone w/ customer service(if they can call it that!!) and complained profusely about the charges I was receiving without authorization...the "Living Lean" is affiliated with "WU-YI", and you automatically get signed up when you order the "tea", they say it is printed on the information you received with your 1st. shipment of tea. And supposedly it also is a "trial" period you are on, and if you dont call to cancel within 2 weeks? you start receiving these $19.95 charges every month!!! So, they said they would give me a "courtesy" refund for ONE charge, which also cancells "my acct."???? and any future billings. We will see...I guess I just have to EAT the other charge!!! I also will be making a trip to my bank!!! GooD LuCk to you all!!!

Holy crap I have had the exact same problem. I called 866-396-5711 to cancel. I told them that I never read anything about this living lean and she said that yes it was in the terms and they are a compliance program. I told her I never read about it anywhere and that I wanted it cancelled and a refund!! Supposibly I will get my refund and she said I am cancelled. We will see. I agree with the person that said we need to start a law suit!!

I am so pissed right now because i just got off the phone with the representative and she wouldnt give me a freaking refund... when i had these two charges from the past 2 months to my visa. I even had this site in front of me and said why am i different from everyone else ...you give them refunds and not me. geez she could barely understand what i was saying. All because of this 30 day thing.. where i knew nothing about. Well now i know that WU-Tea or whatever the fuck its called is not reliable.. thats the last time i try anything online thats for sure.

basically got charged 40$ on my visa. bastards. Such a scam DONT TRY IT!

This is definately a SCAM! They just keep debiting my account also. After I had used a portion of the tea, I had several health conditions arise...maybe nothing to do with the tea, but I don't trust it or them. If they will scam your account, what else will they do?

I just got a charge today on my credit card for $19.95 from living lean. I did not authorize the company to take money. I did order the Wu Yi Tea but sent it back to them for a refund. The phone number was on my credit card so I am going to call them. Dont order this tea.

Just wanted to let you know that I just called the 866.396.5711 number and talked to the first female person who was a bit hard to understand, but she understood me, she ended up putting a supervisor on and Iwas able to get the full 3 month refund back from them and a cancellation of what ever it was I supposedly bought from them. I have the same story as everybody else above. I told them my credit card company was going after them also, thats when she gave me the offer. I am so appalled by all of this, I can not believe they are getting away with this

Same here...had to call back three times in order to get to a supervisor the rep kept disconnecting once they were about to transfer me to a supv. KEEP insisting to obtain the FULL refund amount and get the confirmation # for your records. Wish I had known about this before ordering the tea!

Thank you to one of complaintants for the phone number to Living Lean. I canceled with them, got a confirmation number so we'll see what happens. And yes what a scam, no where was there any info concerning Living Lean and its cost when I ordered the Wu Yi Tea. I don't understand how this scam can keep on existing despite complaints. Good luck to all you who have fallen prey to these horrible people.

I am in the same position, as far as I am concerned my credit card co. should not accepy any charges, witout confirmation from me. I am deducting the charges and let My Fidelity Visa co. chase them. I will never pay them.Have canceled my card.

Fight to get you money back!! The number below is accurate, they told me that it says right on the site that living lean is automatically charged. IT is a scam. DO NOT let them tell you, you can't get your money back because you signed up for it. You CAN recieve a full refund.
