I just received a bill to my Visa for $20.86. I didn't want the product, and I have not received any product, but today this bill magically appeared on my Visa bill. I have been in contact with teaUSA, and was informed I would no longer be billed. I just phoned, and my account was now cancelled, but how come my account was not cancelled when I said it the first time a month ago? I am outraged. What a rip off! Maybe better customer service is needed, so these mistakes do not happen.
There's no words (actually they are but can't be used...) to describe what these people are doing. Think that the most appropriate is stealing. I had 4 charges to my bank account in less than a month from this WUYI/LVING LEAN LV for a total of $91.75 (2 full tanks of gas). I have called these people at 1-866-449-5567 but only got ans answering machine.
I have also been charged $19.95 by Living Lean. I have narrowed it down to Supreme Brands Green Tea that gave my information to Living Lean. I have filed a fraud complaint with my bank and had my card number changed to prevent this from happening again. We do need to do something about this. I am contacting the news media to make them aware.
I feel same like you!!!its very big amount for me to bill me $ 19.95 for WI /LIVING LEAN that i dont understand... please help us to investigate that company.
Wu-Yi is a rip off. They have been charging my credit card for at least 3 months since I cancelled and send the tea back. I am going to notify the BBB and I've notified my credit card and am going to have to close my account just to get rid of there charges.
I too have been victimized by this Company. The only difference is that there is NO telephone number for me to call on my statements!
I'm glad I found these complaints, because now I have a telephone number which I am calling right away. I sent an email to ryanr@wskc.org, who is supposedly employed by this company, but we will see.
Anyone interested in a class action suit? Will need lot's of help with it. Any attorney's out ther interested in helping?
If so, Contact me: Thilsendager@comcast.net.
I'm very angry that so many people have been victimized and would like to STOP this company ASAP.
I just noticed the charges of $19.95 on my account. They have charged me for two months. I canceled my "free trial" period but opted to keep the order and paid $29.95. I was told this was the last of the charges and I was free and clear. This is a scam, they are trying to see how many charges they can get away with. I have contacted "living lean" and am awaiting a response. Has anyone had success on getting their money back?
I have had the same problem, How sneaky they are and charge the $19.95 under another name I noticed on mystatement. I had called and cancelled and still no refund and also a huge scam!!
I was told no problem, now I have to close my account unless I hear from them but from reading above they are very dishonest!!!
I called today and told them I wanted a refund for the unauthorized charges. The woman will try to tell you that you agreed to the charges. DO NOT accept this. She finally agreed to refund me $19.95 which covers 1 month of their fraud charges. I was put on hold for over 10 min. and told them to remove me completely from their system. I was given a confirmation number and told that it would take 3-5 days for them to credit my account. Just to be safe I am going to change my card numbers after I receive the credit (if I do). I would suggest others do the same. I did not notice these charges for 2 months!
Make sure you do not take no for an answer. I told them that I know lots of other people are having this problem and they are facing a class action law suit if they do not refund their "customers." The number is 1-866-396-5711. I called around 4pm and they answered so keep trying.
I signed up for the $7.95 trial of Wu-Yi but it also automatically enrolls you in their auto-ship program. I canceled my "free trial" period but I have just noticed the charges of $19.95 US on my credit card for the last 2 months by an unknown IW/Living Lean whom I did not authorize to charge my visa. After googling the IW/Living Lean I came upon this site with all the unfortunate suckers like me in the same boat.
I am surprise that this (charge by a co that we did not authorize) can happen without our knowledge. I am having by credit card replace by visa so this can stop them from taking anymore money from my account and will now be very careful from buying on the internet with my card unless they are with paypal or something like that.
With scams like this being reported continually, these guys should have been shut down to prevent this from happening again.
this company is horrible.. even when you cancel your account.. they continue to attempt to charge you 19.95.. change your card number ... everyone should know about their SHADY business practices.
I recently ordered wuyi tea and whenI checked my statement, I was also charged for Living Lean without ordering it. The measley $1.25 charge started a chain reaction and I now have 4 checks that bounced. I live on a VERY tight budget, so now I need to be creative. I talked to Crystal today at Living Lean to cancel my subscription. I am going to the bank so no more charges are taking out...
I just had $19.95 deducted from my checking account. I want to know who authorized this deduction, it surely wasn't me. I expect $19.95 put back in my account today, May 22, 2008. If not, and any further deductions from my account will lead me to contact the U.S. Attorney General, the PA Attorney General, the Bucks County, PA District Attorney, The Better Business Bureau, the Consumer Protection Agency, and my Attorney to start a multi million dollar lawsuit. I expect these funds to be returned to my account by the end of business today, May 22, 2008.
Thank all of you for your postings. You helped me find out that I too had been scammed. I just contacted my credit card company and they are disputing the charge to the IW/Living Lean Coorporation. They will also make sure that the charge does not appear again. Amazing the problems we get into when we are trying to help ourselves. God Bless all of you and together we will stop this fraud.
I to have had the above experiences. When I called the 866 number I first spoke to someone I could not understand. I had called the tea company earlier. They did cancel my orders and refunded only $29.95 twice to my visa card. When I spoke to the 866 number for Living Lean today, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor who I could understand. I was put through to a person who told me her name is Taleah, she did speak without an accent, and I could understand her. She told me my account with Living Lean was cancelled, I did get a confirmation number. After talking to Taleah, I called my credit card company and cancelled the credit card account, then opened a new one. There was not charge for this, and I will receive a new card in 7 to 10 days.
What a RIP OFF this WUYITEA-WUYISOURCE is. I will let everyone I talk to know about this. Plus, I am going to call the Better Business Bureau in my state.
Can you believe it? I heard Opera had the WUYITEA people on her show. Don't know if it's true or not.
Guess we all need to check out complaints on the internet before getting into anything else.
I too have been a victim of this company of scam artists.
I cancelled with WuTI within the first week of receiving the product. As soon as I called they shipped an additional two boxes of product, which I told them I was sending back. They will not accecpt the additional two boxes back because I had not cancelled in time, I was within the 30 days. And this Living Lean crap pops up and more charges on my account. They have also been called to no avail. I have my bank trying to get this mess taken care of in their fraud department. But in the mean time I may have to close my account and that will be a mess because I have other automatic deductions such as insurance, utilities set up because I travel so much.
I know you can file a complaint with the BBB, but all they will do is collect complaints. Will they take any type of action.
That is why this company is in Nevada, the rules are not as strict there as they are in other states.
This is a scam, I cancelled within 30 days and they still mailed me the tea and continued to charge my account. I selected and highlighted that I did not want to receive Living Lean and the Wu Yi Tea is still charging my account. I contacted the company via email twice with no response and I called their phone number to cancel and their messages continue to go in a circle that you will never be able to talk to a real person. This delays your ability to cancel and for the company to continue to scam you additional days! I have disputed the charges and cancelled my credit card. This company should be arrested and charged for misrepresentation. They sure serve time in jail.
