| I have had multiple car loans throughout my life, all of them through reputable institutions. Except for this time. I always had excellent credit(in the high 700's) until my divorce as well. I drove my car until it literally fell apart, I was complaining to my ex about the trunk being held down by a bungee cord, the calipers on the back tires sticking, and the transmission slipping. He knows a high end car dealership owner, tells me to go there, they run my credit, then let me take a new 2008 car home for the weekend because it was getting late, and tell me that the paperwork will be ready on Monday or Tuesday (holiday weekend). On Monday, the finance manager calls me and tells me that the only place they can finance me through is a place called United Auto Credit, she tells me that she has never heard of the company before, but that a person from the loan company's Pittsburgh office stopped in to drum up business, she tells me that my credit wasn't as good as they originally believed, and that I can only finance a car for up to $10, 000. The finance manager then tells me how this company is a 'godsend' and that she was worried about getting me financed. AFTER THEY GAVE ME A CAR TO TAKE HOME FOR THE WEEKEND! Car dealerships do not do that for people with poor credit. She asks me to bring the car back so that they can give me the car that they financed for me, and I have to say this... the salesman, not the finance manager, discounted the hell out of the car that I they gave me, I don't know if he knew that something wasn't right (she was only on the job for a week, and I was supposed to go through the finance manager at one of the other locations) or what, but he talked to the owner, Richard, and discounted my 2005, completely decked out, Monte Carlo SS to less than 9000, then threw in tax, title, transfer and sales tax, to get me in at under $10, 000. The finance manager no longer works there, and the dealership will no longer work with UACC. But, that doesn't help me now. I was reading all of the posts about how stupid all of us lendees are, they are right, finance managers get kickbacks for giving loan corps business, and we believe what the finance managers tell us without researching other options, My credit score is over 620, that means that I qualify for a loan under 23fucking%. But I believed the finance manager when she told me that I had poor credit. So, these employees who are laughing at us customers (who, by the way, will probably be out of a job within 6 months) (how much DO you make by the way? $11.00 an hour, $12.00? that is hysterical, loser), know that they are asinine, but are pathetically attempting to defend themselves and their actions. and yes losers, I am using correct punctuation, My I.Q. is tested at genius level. So please call me stupid again while hitting your bong(or did I peg that wrong, are you more of a coke whore). I work in collections for a VERY large corporation, and if I ever talked to a customer the way that I have been talked to by UACC, with them showing up at my house, I would lose my job. WIth that being said... My ex lost his job, I was diagnosed with cancer, and I lost my child support. I am on half schedule right now, so I have learned to BUDGET my money differently. I was home sick today after a chemo treatment when I get a knock on the door, I am 8 days late with my payment because of the BUDGETING that I mentioned earlier, My car payment is now BUDGETED out of my second paycheck of the month. I receive a knock on the door telling me that I need to call a person in Michigan about my car payment. The guy seemed decent enough and my ex mother in law made my payment for me today, I will pay her on Friday. But all of the other lenders that lend at sub-prime rates do NOT treat their customers like this. And, to all of you UACC employees who have the audacity post to this website, NAME ONE COMPANY THAT HARRASSES THEIR CUSTOMERS AT 1 DAY LATE BEFORE YOU START SPOUTING YES-MEN DRIVEL. |
