Wu-Yi Source Tea Complaints - Unauthorized charges!

Review all Wu-Yi Source Tea complaints

Wu-Yi Source Tea

Unauthorized charges!
Complaint Rating: 97 % with 207 votes
Company information:
Wu-Yi Source Tea
Moreno Valley, Arkansas
United States

I ordered the tea and was charged 37.00 for a 60 day supply. Which was fine since I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning. However, even after I called and canceled there was a charge of 19.95 on my credit card. This was not authorized plus they did it after I had canceled and had paid the 37.00 dollars. This is ridiculous. They do not disclose this initially. If they had said that this "miracle" tea was going to cost 56.95 I would never had ordered it. Plus. they were sneaky about it. Instead of the charge showing up as a payment to Wu-Yi Source it showed up as a payment to Living Lean/Las Vegas Nevada.

Stay away from this if you want to save yourself a headache and time on the phone trying to reason with these unscrupulous people.

I have called several times to cancel my order as well. Finally I was given the heahelp@usa.com address to send my required written request in order to cancel. If there is a class action suit, please include me. This company is a first class rip-off: unauthorized debits, false advertising, and a fake product. I need to lose weight to preserve my knees; I didn't need to lose my mind at the same time. This company is nothing but a headache.

Live chat dialogue : you may return the product in 14 days. Received it yesterday and the 14th day would be tuesday. Pretty clever of them to mail it out late enough for you not to be able to return it in time. Is it in part, my error, well yes for "ordering a FREE TRIAL", but have done so with other companies without any difficulty in cancelling. OOlong tea may be purchased at any market without the cost if it really worked.
Unfortunately, many have learned a lesson the hard way!

I, too, found it impossible to get through to WuYi Source either by e-mail or phone. Since I actually work for a living, I do not have unlimited hours during the day to call, e-mail etc. I cancelled my credit card and got a new credit card, thinking this would end my automatic withdrawl by them. I also filed a complaint with the fraud division of my credit card company. Imagine my surprise today when I found the automatic withdrawl of $34.90 on my new credit card number, a credit card number this company is not supposed to have access to. But somehow they do. After spending another two or three hours on the phone with VISA, they have blocked my card and I'll go down to my credit union on Monday afternoon to continue the battle. I have now spent about $99.00 on products I do not want or need and that I don't believe in. I want to be released from this relationship with WuYi Source.
This is an example of the importance of following your intuition. My intuition told me not to do business with this company, but I ignored it, thinking that it was an inexpensive introductory offer that could be terminated at my discretion. How wrong I was. Follow your intuition, People. If it was past bad Karma that got me into this, ok, I've learned my lesson. I wonder what lesson the people behind Wu Yi Source have in store for them in the future. I hope it is a good one! I hope they go bankrupt and then to jail. They prey off the desperation and hopes of others and offer nothing real for fees rendered. Disgusting.

I just sent a request to Fox News for the to investigate and report on this company. Perhaps if they will do that, we can put this place out of business.

My account has finally been rfunded $29.95, not the $39.90 that should have been refunded but at least it is something.

I have just experienced the same problem as well. I obviously did not do my research properly. they have charged me for tea for the last 3 months when i cancelled my subscription twice within the first month, When i called to find out why i was still being charged i had a representative keep saying to me "mame, let me speak" and then kept telling me the same information over and over again and to make the phone call worse i soon became very frustrated and asked to speak with a manager or supervisor so i was put on hold and the same woman i had just spoken with picked up the phone and adressed herself as the manager!! I have never been so outraged in my life.

I am finding it very difficult to cancel this order and I am getting very upset. Myself and my husband have been billed for 2 orders totaling over $70.00 and have not recieved our tea. I am very upset and I would like to be reimbursed to the credit card for those amounts or recieve the tea that we were billed for. One of the orders was for myself and my email address is lisaobryant@sbcglobal.net and the other email address is donaldobryant55@yahoo.com. Please take care of this.

I strongly agree with all the comments above, I have been trying to cancel for a month and I finally was able to cancel the living lean but just got a charge I disputed with my bank for another 54.95 for another 2 month supply that I hadn't received, then I get home and thank God I caught the UPS guy to refuse delivery or I'd be stuck with more useless Tea!!! Everyone stay away from WuYi Source. First of all if it's authentic Chinese tea why does it come from Canada? SCAM

I cancelled this program back in April. You assured me that no further billing would take place. Yet, you just billed me another $19.95. What's going on? You have credited my account for $29.95 on May 5th. You still owe me $ 74.80 I'm still waiting

THE EASIEST WAY OUT IS JUST TO RENEW YOUR CREDIT CARD!!

Im from South Africa and was willing to give this a try to improve my lifestyle! Had all the same problems as above but of course 10 times worse since all calls were from South Africa at international rates! Not to mention the exchange rate increases made the tea unbelievably expensive for me! I tried to cancel and eventually got onto the ONLINE CHAT where someone was very helpful... but I do not trust this company at all and eventually called my bank, who could not make stop payments on my credit card. They advised me to order a new credit card to prevent futher deductions! Of course that cost me to... but Im guessing that was my cheapest way out the deal!!! They said many people were reporting the same thing lately and asked if I wished to open a fraud case... it seemed too small an amount for me to continue wasting my time with this annoying company, so I refused!

JUST A SCAM!!

It was all stated in the terms and conditions we all just need to be careful of what we order and read the T&C before we put our credit card number on the internet!! That way we will not be surprised when we get the bill and we don't have to rely on money to make us happy!

Thank you all. I was just about to try this tea. Something told me to call the number given and I could not talk to anyone it was just a recording. So I kept clicking thru and fell on this web page of complains. I'm glad I didn't go for it.

Hi i was the same as other people i fell for it too, i looked at my bank account today and cancelled my tea due to the fact i wanted to fly home to england to see my family, also i didnt loose any weight what so ever, and i thought my money could go towards a plane flight, i would like to thank everyone who emailed to inform people like me of you're hassles of canceling this rip off product, as soon as i read all the emails today i told my husband and he called the bank and cancelled my card, so a little advise to someone else in this situation, once you cancel the tea and the lean living, cancel you're card straight away so they cant get anymore money out of you... i truly thank all you guys for emailing and im sorry for all you're headaches and hassles you guys saved me from all that.. all the best jenni oklahoma city..

I'm a smart women who fell for this stupid ad, and yes it is a hoax! The only way to get out is to cancel your card immediately! You will think about how you were taken for a while, but just chalk it up to experience, and NEVER order anything that claims free trial again!
117 days ago by Tina [send email]
FYI, to the above comment "all we need is love", it was NOT stated in the terms and conditions anywhere!!! Nowhere did it way...
You will not be able to cancel this program
Your card will be charge regardless if you cancel or not
You can buy this same stuff at the grocery store for $3 and it will not work
Once you have found us out and cancel, we will start charging your card with a different name.
In an attempt to get your money back you will waste even more money on shipping

Yeah, I didn't read those conditions!
DO NOT ORDER THIS TEA!!!

I've been charge twice as well, $19.95 each time. I haven't called them, due to the fact I couldn't figure out who or what Living Lean Las Vegas was associated with. Anyway now that I have found all these posts and realize who is charging me I will be trying the chat session that was previously mentioned as well as calling and emailing.

I'm wondering hasn't anyone turned them into to the Better Business Bureau? I will be as well as turning them into the State of Nevada Business Board. Although it may sound like threats to them, both the BBA and the State of Nevada will pursue it, especially with all the complaints.
