Wu-Yi Source Tea Complaints - Unauthorized charges!

Review all Wu-Yi Source Tea complaints

Wu-Yi Source Tea

Unauthorized charges!
Complaint Rating: 97 % with 211 votes
Company information:
Wu-Yi Source Tea
Moreno Valley, Arkansas
United States

I ordered the tea and was charged 37.00 for a 60 day supply. Which was fine since I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning. However, even after I called and canceled there was a charge of 19.95 on my credit card. This was not authorized plus they did it after I had canceled and had paid the 37.00 dollars. This is ridiculous. They do not disclose this initially. If they had said that this "miracle" tea was going to cost 56.95 I would never had ordered it. Plus. they were sneaky about it. Instead of the charge showing up as a payment to Wu-Yi Source it showed up as a payment to Living Lean/Las Vegas Nevada.

Stay away from this if you want to save yourself a headache and time on the phone trying to reason with these unscrupulous people.

I am Rhonda, daughter to Janice. I came over for a visit. Mom so upset, began to read...OMG!!! She explained her ordeal today. This is SOOOOOOOOOOO WRONG & this company needs to be shut down.
I am very angry my mom was put through all this. Her health not good and she is 63. Diabetics cannot be under stress or blood sugar rises fast, can be life threatening dangerous, can lead to hospital/coma. She was shaking all over, scared me. I also know this product did not work. In fact, she began to GAIN WEIGHT while she used the product, followed diet plan, & she exercises daily at a fit center. She got dizzy. headaches. Soon as she QUIT USING TEA, no headaches, lost 5 lbs. This product might be DANGEROUS for some people, needs reporting. Who do I contact? PLEASE RESPOND. Now I am upset too!!! WHO CAN HELP ALL COMPLAINERS here? TELL US...WE WILL DO IT.

I just saw the charge by living lean in my checking account. I googled it, since i had no idea who had charged me the money. All i know is that this is a total ripoff and it is just a shame to know how dishonest and ruthless so many people can be. I just hope that something is truly done about this. It is

Hello I had same experience but found help!!!
1. Go to original site http://www.wuyisource.com
2.click on blue sign "chat with us" right hand of page(small)
3. tell operator you want to cancel your contract with them, you have heard too much about this "scam"
4.print out copy of your conversation with them
keep two copies send one to your credit card to show you dont owe them any more and the credit card can then dispute your case with them and not charge your card any more
5. call 18663965711 living lean(sep place) and cancel your membership with them too and ask to have email sent to you to confirm
6.keep all records of both cancellations
I did this and all I had to pay was 29.95 and I will keep tea I see noone ever gets returned $ anyway
what a lesson, I told people on phone and computer this is allready being investigated by BBB so cancel now!! It hopefully worked! good luck everyone!

I should of known better!! They make it sound soooo easy to cancel thats @#$&**. I talked to someone who wouldnt even give me his name then hung up on me! It took me 2 hrs to get through to someone because 1st of all I never received my tea! So finaly I talked to someone on the live chat and I gave them my order # ..they had my name right and they told me it was shipped to Texas...I live in Mass! They charged my CC no problem though! Anyways DONT DO IT!!! Lets see if I even get my tea to return it for a refund now!

I also was lied to about this wonder weight loosing miracle for only
$4.95 free trial. I tried to cancel and never could get in touch with them via e-mail or phone. I did get in touch with the legitament WU-YI tea company and they referred me to this e-mail address. Yes I am angry too. I had to cancel my debit card to prevent any further charges on my account. At this moment I do not know how much was taken out of my account, but I do know it is in the red for some odd reason, so I know they have taken unauthorized money out. I have arthritis in my right hip and cannot gey around very good so I usually shop on line at times. I bet I won't shop on line anymore. Isn't there something else I can do so that no-one else gets ripped off?

I CAN COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND YOUR HEADACHE!! I recieve an order from Wu-Yi Tea, before a so called trial of the tea can even happen I'm charged $37.00. Then realize that another $19.95 is deducted (without my knowing or my permission) for Living Lean. I sent the package of tea back on Feb. 6th, a month later, and 7 web chats with reps, I still have no refund of my money!! I've heard one excuse after another!

Then finally I'm directed to teahelp@usa.com... I can not even find a direct website to dispute my situation. However, I can find 3-10 different ripoff websites for these companies!! When do the ripoff reports against them help all of us out?

How do they keep getting away with what they are doing?

If you just got your tea... cancel your debit card or credit card...or whatever you used to pay for the "Free Trial" ASAP... the only charge they were able to incur was the 6.95. I agree with everyone and we should start a petition... I am going to send this to Good Morning America... to get exposure on these crooks. Don't worry we will all put them out of business. This is just plain wrong. I will never do another "Free Trial" anything without doing the research first. Thank God I found this site... once I saw all the complaints... i made a b line and cancelled my card. Good Luck to everyone.

WELL I GOT MY FIRST BILL FOR $6.95 ON MY CREDIT CARD.. I CALLED THEM RIGHT AWAY AND CANCELLED THE CARD.. LET THEM TRY AND GET ANY MORE MONEY OUT OF ME...I WOULD SUGGEST EVERYONE CANCEL THEIR CARDS I THINK IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO BEAT THESE PEOPLE.. I ALSO TRIED THEIR PHONE NUMBERS AND E-MAIL BUT DIDN'T GET ANYWHERE..

I agree 100% with the other complaints. I wish I would have read all of them before ordering. It was a scam. How can a product be free if you are charged for it? I am so mad at myself and the company. I do not think anyone has the right to withdraw money from my account without my permission first. Luckily I noticed it and cancelled before the next time they tried it. If anyone knows of anything more we can do about this rip-off please let me know. Maybe we should let Oprah know about it since she is the one who lured me in about it. I agree, spread the word!

I WISH TO CANCELLED MY ORDER. I WILL PAY FOR WHAT I HAVE. THE TEA IS NOT WORKING HOW I WAS TOLD IT SUPPOSE TO WORK.PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME ANYMORE. THANK YOU.

I was also scammed and am calling my credit card company and having the entire charge for the tea disputed. I was going to say that I would pay for the initial charge and no more, but they are making money by us all accepting the first charge. I strongly suggest everyone call their credit card company.

Tonight, I had gotten on line for the "Best Diet Pills, " and came across the site for Wu-Yi Tea. I read everything and the more I read the more excited I got. I'm getting married in September and have tried everything from starving, excerising, eating healthy, prescription diet pills and nothing has worked; so when I saw this I told my soon this tea and was going to order it . He told me to be careful and check scam sites to see if this company was ligit. I was about to blow him off thinking, "What's the big deal, if it doesn't work I can get my money back." Well...that was until I saw this site and I'm glad I did. I mean, WOW!!!
I guess I should have suspected that a TEA that was this miracle weight loss aid and that you get $1, 000 if you send in your picture and success story should have sent a red flag warning. That didn't do it until I started putting my order information in and noticed that it was asking me for the 3 digit security code on the back of my card. That's when I decided to check and see if this was a scam. Now I see.
I'm sorry for everyone who was scammed and thankful to everyone for posting this information. Had you not, I would have been another victim of this "to good to be true" scam.
