Very harsh and unhelpful customer service!

The customer service has been very harsh and has not been helpful. They are rude and often end up giving wrong information to the clients. For eg. I dropped a cheque in one of their ATM in Bangalore and the amount was not deducted from the statement. When I checked with the customer service they told me that they don't pick up the cheques from the ATM. Immediately I issued a fresh cheque and made the payment but my previous cheque which the bank promised me that wont be picked up was also used. And when I call the bank they say that they cant help it. There were several other incidents like this.

some of your franchise agents came to me and proposed to take credit card and they give option to join our insurance policy name i.e., 'SUPER SURAKSHA' AND THE instalments of this insurence paid through our sbi card. i agreed to this options and i applied for credit card through the franchise. I received the credit card in the year 2007 may. since i never used the credit cardand i paid the premiums personally. but your office sent a statement to me to pay 10,858 {tenthousand eightfifty eight }without furnishing the particulars . then i sent so many letters to your office for detailed statement moreover, i surrendered the credit card to your head office. but your officials harassed me by phone to pay the amount. I never utilised the credit card at any point of time. moreover i cannot purchased any items through your credit card. i belongs to the middleclass family. i cannot bear your officials harasment by phone.
hence is pray your officials kindly send me the detailed account copy and furnish all particulars. else i will suffer irreperable loss and damage. already i surrendered my credit card on 14.01.2008.

I'm very much distressed with SBI card. SBI card offered me personal loan of amt 66000 with only processing fee and 1842 Rs emi for 4 years. But now in each statement they are charging service tax .

My second complaint is regarding super suraksha. I asked for its reversal many times but till date no reversal has been made .

Third, I reqested for statements at my res.address, but they are not following. However their offers related attractive but useless documents we are receiving at regular interval.
Kindly reply soon otherwise I' ll go to either a consumer court or a news channnel like awaaz

I never applied for SBI Card. But it was dispatched to address one year ago. I never used it. Now they charged for Annual fees of Rs. 1323/- (with add on card). I mailed an official notice to close the credit card account, but they did not respond. How to stop this disturbance. Please advise.

Every now and then i have to change my Log In Id because SBI Credit Card division go on making the so called upgradation of the website. i am running out of new names to be used as IDs. The website may be upgraded every day . I have no objection. But this should not force the customer to keep changing the log in ID almost every week as it is happening during the last month or so. I have sent email after email to the Asst.Vice President, SBI Card but so far there has been not even an acknowledgement of my email, not to speak of redressing my grievance. Necessary steps should be taken to improve the website and make it less haraasing to the customer if not customer friendly.

Indecent behavier for SBI CREDIT CARD collection agencies.
Iam also a card holder.I am ready to settlement.but I needs 20 days time. My husband also a heart patient. In past 20 days Collection agent ( Name : Anandan MOB .no 9994066667 & 04362 300196.TANJORE, TAMILNADU) called for early morning to spoke vulgar &unparlementary words. He questioned why are you got loan, he threaten my daughter tomorrow morning I will published your family photo for I.p. yet i have indivdualy report to HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION .All mob talking are recorded. In this connection any bad instant in my home it is fully resonsible for your agent. In future You can advised your agent any customer to talk polite &do not using nasty &harsh words . (that person Mr.Anandan is not suitable person for collection excu, he is follow the ravudiciam)

I too have faced the similar problem of not clearing the cheques and charging high interest rates . and also some additional transactions even after blocking the Credit card. SBI credit card is the worst CREDIT card i had.

they also donot give your the cash back even if they advice so.

The SBI Cards people are cheater of India. They are blood sucking people. They are not uptodate. They are wild animals. They do not have any decency. They are goondas of the world every seen. They do not know any good language. They are always harsh. Harrassing. Even if you do final settlement they will again want yout o pay more money wihtout anything. The are cruel people. DO NOT TAKE SBI CREDIT CARDS. NO. 1 Cheating People of India - SBI CRedit Cards.

Hi,
This is pramod, had a very bad experience about SBI credit card. I made sure that i make the payments, and not to come in the list of defaulters, but SBI credit card division was much aggresive than me and they coudnot allow me to succeed in my efforts.
I dont know how my outstanding balance kept on growing. finaly i stoped paying my bill. In any case i do not want to use SBI card now. Infact i do not want to use any credit card now.

Can soomeon mail how to compalint about it, other wise this compalint shall be lounched to consumer care division of National congress party.

Hi I had made a credit card 4 years back. The SBI card was Free of cost. I never used that card since I am Holding ICICI Bank Cr card and very comfortable and satisfied with its services from last 5 years.

I kept that SBI card but never used it.
Finally I called up the customer Care and cancelled it a year ago.

I dont understand that why i am receiving the credit card stm unnecessarly. I dont open that stm since i donot know the process to open it. It states that You need to enter the primary card no. But even after entering primary card no. the stm doesnot opens.

Are these people in SBI cards fool.. They have such a pathetic service. Had I know this I could have never applied for the credit card.

I donot have the customer care number I forgot. Please anyone who read it can give me the present Customer care number.

Hi,
I’ve applied for a SBI Credit Card, but till date I didn’t received it, however today I’ve got a statement for the Credit Card mentioning that I’ve an outstanding balance on my card of Rs. 10, 058.20. Previously I’ve also received two envelopes for Balance Transfer Request, for which I’ve never applied. This is something very disgusting. How can anyone trust your bank, if you were doing like this. Sending fake bills and inappropriate letters.
Pls help me out and cancel this Balance Transfer request, which I’ve never made out. Your customer service is so worst and dumb, that they don’t know anything about their own products. Now I am realizing that I’ve made the blunder by applying for a SBI Credit Card.

Sir/Madam,

I am a credit card holder of your SBI. I have applied for the credit card and was issued the same in the month of December2007.
Later on 31st Jan 2008, i recieve an SMS saying that my application for the card is in progress and i will recieve it soon.
Just to confirm wether my card is working or not, i made a purchase. The first time it was swiped, it worked. Later it did not work at all.
The next month, when i was supposed to recieve my statement( which i didnt) made me to call up the customer care. The customer care executive informed me that there was no purchase made because my card was not activated and if at all i made a purchase, it will reflect in my next bill. The executive informed me that i need not pay any amount for that month.
The next three months, i did not recieve any statement or SMS or E-mail.
Just to inform you, i did not recieve my ATM pin too.
After almost three months after i made the purchase, i start getting calls from the collection center at Chennai saying that i havent made any payment for the last three months.
The total amount has almost doubled. Inspite of me telling that i need my statement, i keep getting calls from them . They start calling me in the morning 8AM and stop only at 6PM. almost 20 to 30 times a day. One day when my wife answered the call, they started using abusive words to her. When i informed the same to the Customer careexecutive, he told that the collection center person is doing his job.
After just five days of calling, they end up calling my office number and my extension which i share with my HR. The collection agent started using abusive words and started shouting at every person who answered the call.
As a last resort i called the customer care guys again to inform him of the abusive way SBI has taken up against me. But even he gives a reckless answer. when i asked him that my card is not activated at all, he informs that they have deactivated as a precautionary measure. This doesent make any sence. The card was not activatedfrom day 1.
Now, my job is at stake and it is SBI and its customer care and the collection center to be blamed.
Is this the way a customer is treated at SBI????
Who is going to give me my job back if i loose it??
I am writing to you in hope that you will make sure that this will not repeate with other customers like me.
If i am not recieving any responce from you or SBI, i will assume that my relationship with SBI has come to an end.

The fucking language of india. They dont know a bit of english or at least english alhpabets. They simply know how to sleep with their mothers.

Respected Sir,
I had sent you a cheque for Rs 107/-
on 02-08-2006, settled all my balance and surrendered the sbi credit card.
But i have received monthly statement of account from you on 28-04-2008.
So i request you to take necessary steps to stop sending monthly statement in future.

i am using sbi credit card since last two years .my card limit is 20000/-.i asked how can i increase my credit card limt.?answer from customer care was no.i asked why or what is the reason not to increase my credit limit.but no explanation was given. i am very regular customer and also i am holding hdfc gold credit card of credit limit 55000/-.pl do the needful and oblige.

i have been using bobcard for the last twenty years.i have no problem with it.i took sbicardrecently with great hope that it is prestigious to possess it and start using it
without asking they called me to providsixteen thound rupees cash in the form of dd which they never sent.after seven monthsi left india. i paid the bills before going to us leaving onlyseventy rupees. by the time i return i found to my surprise that seventy rupees grew to three thoundplus with fines chargesetc how great this sbi is known from its deedsthey carge from the day we use the card not after the due date.it is cabuliwala reminder.
