I had taken my kids to the KMart store in Wind Gap PA this afternoon for a pair of sneakers for my son and I got to tell you that although we didn't need any help in the shoe department we always saw an employee working hard and very pleasant.
While we were there we were checking on a food dehydrator for my husband and I wasn't quite sure where the housewares was, I saw an employee and of course I asked where it was and I thought she was just going to point to the general area where the item was but she did she actually brought me over to the exact location to where it was. I was really impressed. She also apologied for having one type of dehyrator. She also pointed out if I had any problems it is easier to get an actual person to help us out.
I definately am happy in KMart and the customer service.
The only thing I could think of that could improve the KMart stores is that the company should not charge when people put stuff on layaway. If the company took away the charge at layaway I would be very happy.

I also shop at KMART all the time but that could be coming to an end because of the false advertisement on the survey for $2500. dollars. I searched for the survey thru several sights and came up with the same results at all of them. I agree. Kmart in the town of Hastings is a joke. So it does not surprise me that this survey doesn't work. Hastings is getting a super Walmart and a Meijer. Kmart will not have to worry or not if they have customers. They mis well plan on shutting down now.
They never have stock, they are unfriendly, and super, super, super.. SLOW.
Went to your store #4420 on three different occasions for advertised specials - within 2-3 hours the items were all gone??? Evidently there aren't many items to start with? I have tried to purchase a digital camera on two trips and birthday earrings in another and never was able to purchase these items. The ad does not say you have to be first in line to be able to purchase the item - I still work and my time is valuable and it is frustrating to lose out on sales.
