BEWARE OF GAMEWAR / they sell banned and deleted accounts. When I asked for a refund, they said sorry we sell as is, and then closed live chat... Major fraud artists. They are better known as GAMEPAL, they have multiple websites like ACCOUNTGEAR as well to hide their bad reputation... I bought a lvl 60 mage for WoW (EU) on Dalaran server a week ago, my order id is 116272 and my account information still hasnt been sent to me, I sent loads of emails to accounts department but they keep telling me they are looking into it. Ok when u buy/trade accounts u as a company has a record of the account and the transaction and details, you shud have lots of backups of this information, How the hell can u not look up this data and send it me. Help me out guys or refund me my $100, because over a week just for a account delivery information is very poor. I can easily report your website to Blizzard and you would be shut down just like that, by the looks of it I also have your HQ address, I live in Michgan too, If you dont get me my account I will just have to send you a law suit.

Wow, I just googled "gamepal coupon dollars" and this is what shows up. I guess I got scammed also, because I sent an email to the accounts department about giving me a refund because I wanted to sell my account for coupon dollars and use the coupon dollars to buy gold. But what do you know, they don't use coupon dollars anymore to buy WoW currency anymore....so yeah, good game gamepal.

I have to say gamewar came through at the last second. Was really concerned I didnt get my account, but they called me and delivered it over the phone.

DO NOT PURCHASE though gamepal. I am eating hundreds of dollars now because they will NOT respond to any of my emails for the last six months. I originally also purchased a made4play, then after emailing once or twice a week for an update with no reply, I finally got a response 3 months later telling me that it never was worked on because their "system is down" and they "accidentally deleted my emails."

So then three weeks later I finally got a coupon, which I used for a PL. Then they got my account banned 3 days later.

Now I got a refund, but for GPD, which apparently can ONLY be used to purchase an account (beware of this, their website lies), and it was about $50 short of the amount they owed me. I've been emailing constantly but keep being told that "my email was forwarded to the manager and hopefully they will reply soon."

Horrible service, they lie, and avoid their customers. I would not buy from them again, at least for these services. I'm not sure if they'd be halfway decent with currency purchases since you can actually read testimonies on their site.

finally got through with someone on live chat. this is what you can expect if you make it through:

UPDATE AGAIN

This evening i finally received my payment.

from the loads of people that have said bad things about this company i can discern a few things:

1. The detractors are enemies of the company somehow, or tried to scam the company themselves.

2. They did not read the FAQ properly, and thus freaked out when something went wrong that wasn't even wrong in the first place.

3. I was one of the lucky ones, and i should be thankful i didn't get f*****.


things went just fine in the end. This company has pretty poor customer service, maybe due to heavy traffic like company reps say. maybe they are just poor.

Since i received my money and all went well in the end i can say that i would recommend this company to someone who doesn't feel safe selling it to some random dude on a forum. BUT read the FAQ, use livechat to have someone guarantee that things will go as they are supposed to, and save that conversation for your records as well as any and all emails you get from gamewar. If you do these things they cannot possibly screw you over, you should, however, be patient, because this will take long enough for you to raise an eyebrow.

if you get Banned not there Fault I Used Other Companys to get Banned Right afther Service Was Used as 97% of the Other Company's Use Bots & Spam Trade with WTS 200 Primal Lifes Etc & Shows you are PLing Or GOLD FARM service - GP Has been going for a very long time it's the Oldest out there & Has had Issue's with People like you cause you try to Scam, id sure i wouldent Reply to Emails if you were Back & shit talking i wouldent want you So Please People save your self of beign a Asswhole & Read the Fucking FAQ for once instead of buying & thinking your geting everything blah blah.

1. Level60's arent Below 100.00 at all even stripped
2. Sending to Blizzard wont do shit & they only Bann the User so mainly you would get any Accounts Banned to your CC & IP & Email & Your name so if you have 10 Accounts say Bye Bye & GP has Been Up ever Sence Beta Bud i think if Blizz wanted them gone they would be.
3. You need to go to Live Chat & Confirm Threw Phone Otherwise you wont get any Info & EMails do take 2-5mins to like a Week Due to you are not the Only Person Who Ordered Try Around 500+ Orders a day before you Buddy
4. Send a Law Suit Your kidding right Company is Based in China GL enless you fill like Paying 500Grand for a 200.00+ LS - HQ you Relise that is there Support HQ Right so It's not the Owner - Your Emails i Bet are Prob Full of Foul Lang Towards them that they wont.

I too have been the victim of horrid customer service, or fraudulent behavior, but I can't tell which yet. I bought a world of warcraft account in september 2007, and Febuary 2008 the password is changed, I have recieved no help, only automated responses, and the account will continue to be charged. I just want some help, I spent over 400$ on the account, and months increasing it's gear/value., and to lose it all and not get any help, hell, to not even be able to actually talk to a real person is HORRIBLE business practice, I can't get answers, and I can't get help, I finally come here to complain after HOURS of searching on the internet, clicking on EVERY google link in an attempt to find someway to talk to someone and get this situation rectified.

i bought a lvl 70 rogue account - i say bought but i have yet to see it and instead am trying to get a refund of them. I had no response for days after payment despite 4 or 5 emails to their accounts department. THe live chat guys are useless as they just refer you to email the "Accounts" team whoever the hell that is.

I got so frustrating from the non response I put in a dispute with paypal and got an immediate email from gamewar saying they were processing it and would be in touch.

THEY STILL HAVN"T GOT IN TOUCH

i replied I just wanted a refund now. As far as I am concerned if they don't refund my money they have stolen it and I will have to take further action.

the whole thing is really really frustrating i don't know if it is a scam or if it's just that their customer service is so freaking lousy.

well heres my story 2 weeks ago i "traded" my WoW acct. for gamepal coupon so i used that to order a M4P acct for city of villians. it was saposed to be 7 days and i have sent numerous emails with no reply <until last night> and that was only to say they were transfering my emails to accounts manager. im starting to get a little worried here that i traded a wow account with 2 lvl 70 toons both with flying mounts and 1 with netherdrake and im getting nothing. i hope to hear from accounts soon. any sugestions? email me at hadesson@charter.net

It's Wednesday now, five days later, and I still haven' t received any payment. On the positive side, they have not activated the account either, so I assume they have absolutely no interest in taking it, let alone paying me for it.

I contacted their online help and was told that they do not buy accounts that are not active, even though I specified that it was not active before they sent me the buyout offer. They're 100% scammers. I'll call Mythic tomorrow and change the secret word and pw so that Gamewar is unsuccessful if they try to steal it later. At least I didn't lose anything, unlike the dozens or hundreds of people before me.

I can't stand it anymore. I had a experience just like the ones others mentioned. This is twice I've been scamed over the internet. One by a private seller and now by accountgear.com / gamewar.com / gamepal.com. I'm fairly certain there all related. My emails from them prove it.

Basicly I ordered an account from them in the game Final Fantasy XI and I never got the account information. They took my hard earned money and left me with nothing. I've sent many emails and am now in the process of a paypal dispute.

The customer service is horrible and I can never get through to a live person. All my emails from them said they delivered my order to the accounts team, but I never got any type of email from them. The only things I've got out of this experience is a large hole in my wallet and a headache. I bascily begged for the item I requested and or a refund, but no such luck.

If I ever do decide to buy another account its not going to be from a webiste I cannot contact over the phone.

I ordered a SWG character on gamewar.com. I went to their Live Chat and they told me it would take two weeks for them to start the order. I left the chat but realised I made an error in the order. The next day I went back to the live chat to change it (was unable to access the website that night). They told me I couldn't do it from their and that I had to contact their accounts team. So I did. A week later, no reply. I can't even access their live chat without the window coming up with "Sorry, the Live Chat is down right now". Infact, i've been unable to access the live chat for five days now.

Dont trust this website. You will be scammed out of your money.

Step one of my paypal dispute has been completed. Paypal contacted accountgear.com / gamewar.com / gamepal.com.. There all the same. I got emails from each. -_-

Basicly these scam artists marked the item as shipped. I never got anything. How can they do that.. ; ;

Seriously, how hard is it to log on an account, check if its active and then send it to the buyer?
