BEWARE OF GAMEWAR / they sell banned and deleted accounts. When I asked for a refund, they said sorry we sell as is, and then closed live chat... Major fraud artists. They are better known as GAMEPAL, they have multiple websites like ACCOUNTGEAR as well to hide their bad reputation... I was scammed by this site as well gamewar.com.

Basically, I bought a L2 account that the description said was lvl 60 spellhowler. I also asked the rep before buying if it was a melee class which they said yes. I made the purchase of 98.00+15.00 activaiton fee to see it was lvl 59, and the stripped alt was 61 (hawkeye)

I began to e-mail them and contact livechat which said they knew nothing, no boss, no contact, etc etc.

I am doing a reversal and reporting them for fraud to paypal, visa, and navy federal credit union. NFCU will pursue it free of charge to me.

Heres the ONLY response via e-mail I have recieved --------------------------------------------

Subject: Re: Account Submission Offer
Hello,

Account submissions are automated and non-negotiable. The offer will change with the daily with supply and demand, if you do not like the offer, you can always try submitting your account on a different day.

If you would, please select three accounts in the same basic price range that you'd accept in place of the one that you originally ordered. List them in the order you prefer them and the accounts managers might send you one of them if they are unable to get your first order to you.

For example list them like:
1. Level 60 Mage Horde - Kel'thalas
2. Level 60 Warrior Alliance - Terrokar
3. Level 59 Hunter - Darnassas

This is a joke right??? You guys SOLD me the wrong account, now you offer me this after I paid 98.00+15.00 account activaiton fee??????????? So your error equals my loss for a account I paid for yesterday, honestly? It was listed as a 60 SH, it was 59, and your rep said it was a melee class, its a caster.....the alt is 61 hawkeye (stripped) The info listed was incorrect and what was told was incorrect. The only way I will be happy is with the lvl 68 Orc destroyer you have for 120.00.

I will not accept this offer, nor do I appreciate this on my days off. Call me at home 706-208-3672, or I will be forced to contact paypal. And no customer service via live chat or phone sux imo, limited to e-mail is BS.

Heres my payment info-

Dear charles woodall,

This email confirms that you have paid MMO Account Character Services ( sales@gamepal.com) $98.78 USD using PayPal.

This credit card transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *MMOACCOUNTC".

Doesnt get anymore legit then that.........SCAM/Fraud, even at 34, I still want to punch someone in the face regardless of the reversal that will go through as they wasted 100.00+ of my time had I been working instead of dealing with this all day on my day off.

I will past if they do anything to honor their 100% guarantee of order description accuracy.

But I doubt it. They already ignore me, obviously I get quite made after hours on end of bullshit......

I purchased a lineage 2 account from GameWar on January 15, 2008 and I received the account info within a few minute of purchase. It's too bad that the account only had a Lineage account on it, and It did not have the 54 Phantom Ranger that I had purchased which is a Lineage 2 toon. I immediately talked to customer service and of course they told me to refer it to the "Accounts department" which you might be lucky to get a reply from every 2 days. And the reply is always another delay to the process, further frustrating me. This service is a complete joke, I would not recommend anyone buy anything from these guys or any of their affiliates, they are fraudulent, scam artists with no customer service whatsoever and they need to be put out of business. Buyer Beware when you are on a GameWar/GamePal site, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS THEY ARE STEALING OUR MONEY.

Gamepal is probably one of the worst companies I've dealt with.

I purchased a Made4Play account BACK IN NOVEMBER. Just recently, toward the end of December, I received an email about my Made4Play order. Due to technical problems within the company, the order was canceled and I was refunded in Gamepal Dollars (rather than REAL money, so I can take my business elsewhere).

Shortly afterward, I placed another Made4Play order, since I don't want one of their fraudulent accounts for sale. This was around December 20th. It's now January 20th, a month later, and I have absolutely nothing to show for my $240.

My current order number is 113929. I would love to know what the hell is going on, and why I have been deprived of a service that I paid over $200 for, for a period of more than two months. This is ABSURDLY bad business, and I will never deal with GamePal again. This is not a "competitor" or whatever excuse Gamepal uses to hide their bad reviews. I am a real customer, and I will be spreading my opinion of this crap company throughout the internet.

I just registered a complaint on www.ripoffreport.com, and I encourage everyone else to do the same. We cannot win, as customers, unless we band together and do something for once. Aren't you sick of getting no emails, and letting GamePal treat you however they want? You paid money to this company - hundreds, in some cases.

I am going through the same experience here. My trouble is only 2 days old, but has the same story: bought a character, it was banned, got the EXACT same response from "Mindy" as Charles got...it doesn't give me a lot of hope that I will get a satisfactory conclusion. To preempt the claims I am a competitor or disgruntled employee, my order # is 115497. My guess is the company is a typical scam that makes money because most people don't complain hard enough, they just write it off. So the occasional people who do complain actually do get refunds and then are held up as examples of "customer satisfaction".

I can't believe that Gamepal is still alive after they've screwed a LOT of people!!! And now they switched their name to Gamewar.com because they know how bad their reputation is and so they could have more victims!!!

Eric Ryan Smith is a stupid and a greedy bastard. He's the mastermind of all this scams! This company really has to shut down. GAMEPAL REALLY SUCKS!!!

I agree with this and had a similar problem. I bought an account a couple weeks ago only to find out it was a stolen account, and it was taken back by the original owner. I have recieved very little help since then in getting money back or another account. Gamewar is a fraudulent company for sure. My order # was 115061. I doubt I will get any help from them but will do my best to spread the word of how they suck to everyoe I can.

I ordered 3000 g wow gold about two weeks ago when before ordering I went on livechat to see if they had stock. They said yes and that I could order now. Ok so I ordered, went back on livechat "Oops sorry you have to wait a few hours, so sorry." They did this for like a week. Then I went on livechat one day and one of the reps said "Teehee, we havent started selling gold on this game yet, we still getting ready."

Hello,

I am one of the operations manager in the USA department customer service team. Sorry it took so long to get back with you as we do not actively view these reports.

Thank you for your reply though, and hopefully we can resolve this issue as we do apologize it took so long to get back with you. Our duty as a USA company is to offer the best satisfaction in the MMORPG industry, and we make sure all our customers are dealt with properly. We are the only MMORPG company in the world that offers a solid 100% guarantee, and we will make sure we do everything possible to hold that guarantee.

We just noticed your post recently, so we went back to our logs to see if the issue was resolved. Based on your guys information, here are some of the issues going on with your order.

1). Rob Schmidt. Please report this to accounts@gamepal.com. The rep needs to be fired immediately as if he did poor customer service for you he does not belong in this company. Any name or any information would be helpful. On your gold order, if you have not received it by now, please go to our live chat, and demand it delivered. They have the supply, it should not be an issue getting it to you.
2). Jeffrey. Your situation should be resolved.
3). Kristi is not even a customer. You are our competition posting on this board, or an ex-employee.
4). XW, if the account got banned, please email us back so we can resolve this issue. Eve accounts get banned occasionally, but they are easy to restore since we are the original owners.
5). John S. we didn't receive any emails from you that are active in our inbox. I went ahead and sent a reply, please get back with us on this issue. Your M4P is delayed in queue, but you can continue, exchange, or receive a refund.
6). Scott, what is your order number. You may have received the wrong account, or the character maybe on another server.

We deeply apologize if we caused any frustration with your order as we try our best to help every customer. Mistakes can happen, and especially in this industry things can go wrong, but we will do everything in our power to make sure you get what you ordered.

Please contact our email support if you have any additional questions, thank you

I purchased a EQ2 account 2 days ago. After 24 hours I received a username and/or password that does not work. I have emailed accounts@gamepal.com approx 5 times. I have sent messages via the message system on their website and I have talked to live support. Live Support tells me to email accounts@gamepal.com. Of course no one has answered any of my emails back. I am ready to file a complaint with the BBB and file a dispute with Paypal.com. And no I am not an ex-employee or competition.

As a father authorizing my kids to purchase an account from GamePal, I must say that I have never been treated so poorly as by this company and their counterpart Gamewar.com.

I purchased an account with payment made through PayPal. After delays and excuses now running two weeks, I have asked for a refund.

I have sent over 100 emails to them and have had messages explaining that they are busy. Too bad, your advertising said 1 hour to 24 hours for delivery. It took over 24 hours to call me for the credit card approval.

The account data I received was for an account that was inactive. No security data was provided nor was the PlayNC data so I could re-instate the account.

The purchase occurred on January 22, 2008, Item # 108929. Gamepal, if you see this, now is your chance to deliver.

By the way I am a Mortgage Banker, not an employee of an internet company.

It's so funny how Gamepal is trying to clean themselves when it's too obvious how dirty their reputation is. Can't you see, both CUSTOMERS AND EX-EMPLOYEES complains about them. It's because they were both treated like crap. Meaning Gamepal is not good in handling their employees or simply because they're really doing illegal business. And so, customer is always right.. right??! Customers are not stupid to keep posting in complaints forums if they got what they paid for or if they got what they ordered at the right time. Stop acting like you're one of the top company in the world or like a big threat for a competition because you're NOT! For once Gamepal, why don't you just go to hell cause if you do, then you just gave us a reason to celebrate for a WORLD PEACE!

I just sold my WoW account to Gamewar.com and they did not pay me money... theres not much else to say i was jacked like i was on the south side of chicago... i feel so taken advantage of... but what am i going to do...

Look at this:

"4). XW, if the account got banned, please email us back so we can resolve this issue. Eve accounts get banned occasionally, but they are easy to restore since we are the original owners."

4 emails later, still no response. Delay, delay, delay, hope the complainers give up... such a classic scam.

So i have been hearing rumors and have actually seen a email my buddy got from selling his account to Gamepal like a few months ago. They said that they lost or could not locate the password. Which is really ther fault on that part, so they told him they wanted it back. What was really Funny is that they had there own "GM" that could ban accounts on Wow, and if he did responed back they would ban his account and any accounts assoicated to it. Now how is that even possible? I should get a copy of this email cuase if thats true then maybe blizzard would like to be informed about that.
