I bought AirTel Pre-Paid phone, and it didn't get activated for three days, in spite of me calling everyday, and those folks offering an excuse that activation may take up to 24 hours (first day), 48 hours (second day) and 72 hours (third day). Then I finally went to the shop from where I had got the phone, got a contact to call from them, and my phone was active within thirty minutes.

Then I entered a Rs. 350- value card, and without using the phone, I found that merely Rs. 12- were remaining in my account. Called them up, and they said that I listened to songs for that much money. When I said that it was not so, they said they would investigate and get back to me within 48 hours. After not hearing, called them again, and got yet another excuse. Right now, they have been telling me that I made some obscene number of calls to KBC. Their other excuse is, you had called us about 5 minutes back, so your account is locked, and call after an hour, although the truth would be that that is the only time of the day I had called them.

Anyway, the bottom line is, these AirTel folks are cheats. They eat away about Rs. 200 - out of the Rs. 350 as some fixed charges, and eat away the remaining through other unfair means. Shame on AirTel.

Here is my problem
I bought my new sim giving all proofs but it was NOT activated for more than a 2 weeks or so.I kept calling the related people.
After few weeks my airtel came into action
So i paid every damn bucks for validity and balance.
validity for one year and balnce around 500rs

And i gone for outside station leaving my mobile home
after one month when i was back i saw my airtel is not working i called up these guys and asked the reason for it.They told me my verification call failed
So i need to re submit my documents (id proof)
i did that but number remained dead and for continously enquiring they calmed me by telling me that it will get activated soon
i kept waiting for long but all in vain
as a result my sim started showin me "sim registration failed" i called up again and even went to see airtel shop and asked related queries
they told me u need to buy the new number now as the sim has expired
here i lost all my balance + validity + number + documents(twice) + time
on which they say they can't help it nw u need to buy new sim
airtel is really really ... asshole!

this is very bad none come into line i have message card activated but itr works only for 10-15 days and moreover this is not first time every time it happens the same they always say that some tecnhnical problem but never solve that problem

Hi

I am using airtel connection since very long time and find there services worst.Using postpaid connection they can Bar your call anytime and after calling customer care they are treating there customer care very badly.They cut VAS services charges without offering services to there customers and eod you feel very bad. This happens so many times with postpaid cusstomer and for prepaid customers i guess prepaid customers have no words for airtel.

Only i can say in 2 words that it's a CHOR COMPANY.pls do not use there services at all.

I am holding mobile no. 98100 35211 for several years. I am not getting signals of airtel in my office at WZ-232, Inder Puri. New Delhi-110012. I put the complaint for the same on 1st September 2008., again 3rd September 2008, 10th September 2008 & 12th September 2008. But I haven't got any reply from any one in this regard. No one gave me the contact department who will solve this problem. For which I asked several times.
We have other conection in this office & signals are not comming properly on any phone.
I am surprised that no body has time to attend the complaint for 12 days?
We are export company and because of this problem we lost some business.

now a days i am getting friends pack activated automatically on my mob 9818698402 through sms that your request has been accepted and services activated. when enquired from 121 cut care they appolise . this is repeatedly happening . i am feed up with such attitude. i am holding two mob of air tel since 08 yrs. i request officials to take action to prevent damage to thei reputation.
