CIC is billing me monthly for a service I do not use, do not need and can't seem to stop. I will call them, write them, report them to the BBB and to the attorney general. Shame on CIC!

I also had a random charge for $9.60 show up on my credit card. It was also for EPI, 800-450-3414, CA...which meant nothing to me. I went to my bank in fear my CC # had been stolen. They filled out an affidavit saying it was an unauthorized charge, and put back the $ for me.

I googled the 800#, which landed me on this page, thankfully! :)

I also followed the advice above, and called the 888-888-8553 number, and spoke to a guy, who I seriously think was high... but said he would cancel my account. HE said the charge was not showing up on his end yet (whatever), but to call back in a few days and they could credit me back.

If memory serves, I DID pull a free credit report back in October. FREE being the key word. Nice they just decide 9 months later to randomly charge me for something. Sneaky ba***rds. Hopefully it's taken care of. I am keeping a close eye on stuff!

Triple Advantage is billing me on my line of credit account which is zero balance and I was not aware of it. They claim to be a credit monitoring company but they destroyed my credit themselves since I was not aware of them billing my line of credit. Someone should look into these scams.

I'm glad to hear about this as I've had similar experiences elsewhere and am now leary of doing things like this. My suggestion to people doing things like this is to use a credit card that you purchase at a Rite Aid or some such place. It has a fixed spending amount - whatever you decide to put on it - and so if you get stuck and can't cancel something like this they will eventually quit getting your money. This is how we do our online spending now - I feel much safer knowing someone in cyber space can't get into our personal accounts

I was surprised when I got my statement of my credit card to find that I was charged 12.95 from CIC TRIPLE ADVANTAGE. Something absolutely unknown to me. I never dealt with such a mysterious "company"(?); I never asked any service from them. How can defend myself from these robbers?

If you are having trouble canceling. I went thru my bank and put a block on them. So that they couldn't get the money out. But i never signed up for anything. I just went to get a free credit report and started noticing 12.95 charge on my debit card.

I have been billed 12.00 for the last two months. I called the company and they are telling me I had ordered this. No way!!! 24.00 isn't much money but I want it back. Shame on CIC Triple Adv.

I am on the phone right now with them they have been charging my card for 4 months and the operator said she can refund 2 months but has to talk to her supervisor for the other 2 months i never even used this before not even the free 30 day trial... I guess i will have to wait to see if they refund my money as well as make sure they do not charge me again.

I am sitting on hold with them as I type. I am pregnant and on maternity leave, getting only 60% of my pay, so needless to say money is tight, and keep a very close look on my account via internet. I just logged in and there is a $12.95 charge on my account. Now remembering on 06/20 I logged into the website for a FREE CREDIT REPORT, which I never received but noticed a $1.00 charge on my debit card. I called the same exact day, and the man stated he did not show any charges on his end. (Surprise!) As of yesterday I'm being charged $12.95-had no idea who this company even was but I googled the name and it brought me here!!! I can't believe ALL of the complaints!! This is so wrong... and I will contact the BBB, as well as notify my bank... B/c I'm not paying even the $1.00 that was charged when I have received NOTHING!! BS!!

I have called and was told that they would send a confirmation email and I have not received it. They are charging on my credit card for services I did not request. I only requested a free credit report and that was last year and did not sign up for any additional services.

I just emailed them tonight and had no problem canceling. Within an hour they sent me an e-mail confirming the cancellation w/ the date that it would take effect and a verification number. If they do charge me next month, I have proof of the cancellation. I would suggest e-mailing first, and if they don't reply, then call.

They kept charging me for over one and a half years for a service never used, nor wanted. The very first charge was the only one applicable, or wanted- service was continued based on my one legit usage, and was not wanted.

I called CIC and talked to Nancy employee reference 1AAA0. And she basically said that everybody on this page including myself are ignorant for complaining because we should have read the disclaimer. I told her that the advertisement was very deceiving and not fair to the unsuspecting customer. (i.e. all of us). She was just being a real B@!#$!!! Talk about customer service? She makes the term very ironic.

I agree with everyone about his. They have been taking money from me for about 3 months now. At first I did not know what it was for. I taught it was for something else. I don't even remember asking for it. I hope we all can get this worked out for the best.
