Take your money and run away
Complaint Rating: 88 % with 104 votes
This complaint is posted to advise other unsuspecting customers of the fraudulent practices of the business, namely Novelty ID Factory. Their website address Noveltyidfactory.com is operating strictly to obtain monies for non-governmental issued identification cards without delivery of product to the consumer. I placed an order with this business, completed payment, and was promptly responded to by the business, telling me they would take care of my order, having it shipped out immediately. Needless to say, upon non-receipt of the product quite some time past my purchase date, I contacted them to inquire about my order. Never did they respond to more than three emails forwarded to them regarding the matter. Quite obviously, I was taken for my money, never to hear back from them in the future. I will take full responsibility for the fact that they stated their payment form was via Western Union only, which although I was skeptical, I trusted and placed my order. A thief is a thief in the end, no matter what, and I simply want to get it out their for other potential customers to be aware of what this so called business is actually in business for... TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!

The collector via Western Union goes by:
Name: Andreas Socratous.z
Location: Cypress, Europe.

So to any of you who may be considering placing and order through this business which is strictly a front to essentially steal your money and stiff you completely, please be advised of exactly what is going on. Don't be scammed by them as I unfortunately was. We all work hard for our money, but some just want to sit back and like the heroin pusher, do nothing and take all. Certainly it is only a matter of time before this bogus operation they set up falls apart, and this posted message will most certainly aid in starting that process. Again, their business name is Novelty ID Factory, and their email address is Noveltyidfactory.com

BUYERS BEWARE, and CHEERS TO COMPLAINTSBOARD.COM for this wonderful resource.

I was just about to order from one of these scammers when I stumbled on this site-{' disappointed since I really need an alternate ID but thankful that I didn't waste my money.

Good site.

I just ordered from noveltyidpro.com before discovering this site. It is a scam, as we all see, along with these other 100 sites that people have received no product or terrible product from. I know that I should never send my money (through Western Union) to someone overseas that I dont know, that basically says I will have no way of being refunded if it turns out to not be legit. But I guess that was the PRICE (and a high one at that) that I paid for wanting to purchase a fraudulent looking document. Lesson learned, the internet is not your friend unless it takes visa or some other trusted credit card. I think you college students, including myself, are better off hitting up a frat house and just finding ties to someone who knows someone who can deliver, and lives in the same zipcode. (Thats what i have done now...thanks UCLA). There was a news article the Daily Bruin (UCLAs newspaper) that talked about the high rate of fake ids dispursed and widely used on campus...this is probably true for most colleges....and these people are getting them from a friend who "knows someone".....at least it's more legit and may give you a better peace of mind than trusting your money to a foreign person in Bulgaria...

Nobody overseas cares about your need to drink before 21. They just see it as a way to make easy money off a naive "westerner" who will trust anything they see online if it looks like a well done site like "myspace" or the like....

...there are just not a lot of people who would be genuinely honest t deliver a product if they had NO liability to that person and could "vanish" without a tracem pockets filled with western union cash.

To JC C,

Your an ass and here's why. You claim that if a fake id seller does not take credit cards he is a scammer. LOL

If they are selling real ids you really think they could be able to take credit cards as payment? What are you? A child?

In fact, its the other way around. If a site DOES take credit cards then you know they are NOT legit.

AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT TO YOUR CREDIT CARD ISSUER? THAT YOU WERE TRYING TO BUY A GENUINE FAKE ID AND YOU GOT SCAMMED?? THEY WILL DENY YOUR CLAIM, ASS!

Its JERKS like you here that put CRAP on this board that helps NOBODY!

"ONLY LEGIT SELLERS OF FAKE ID TAKE CREDIT CARDS" LMAO!

I'd say your both right to some degree. On the one hand, a company that is being fraudulent and not delivering a product will not be able to have a credit card account because they would get so many complaints. If you pay a company with a credit card I expect that you will receive a product. However, I imagine this product is going to be complete shit and not pass for an ID with the dumbest of alcohol sellers.

On the other hand, the best way to get a really good fake is to do it "underground". There are people out there who sell fake IDs through the internet. They generally sell just a few templates and will not accept credit cards for a number of reasons, namely, you need a business or a name to accept credit cards, and in either case you would be caught very quickly and prosecuted.

My friend and I just ordered through noveltyidpro.com thinking it was real legit because of all the review sites. Now i see this. Luckily we acted fast enough. If you call the 1-800 u get with your western union in time you can cancel the payment. It takes a couple days for it to process because its so far i guess. We lost the $29 WU fee but it beats the $300 we spent to buy 4 IDs.

I just ordered a fake from a guy the other day (and I know he is legit). Once I get it I can give you a link to the site I got it off of and some pictures of it too if you like. My post will probably get deleted though so you'll have to be paying attention.

This is what I emailed to FarEastID: Is the "Not a government issued document" removable from the Novelty I.D.? And they responded by saying "Yes. Remove at your own risk." So Ive been thinking of whether i should risk $100 and try and get a fake I.D. from them, and I am going to give it a try in about a couple of months, and I will let you guys know when I send my payment and whether I get an ID back or not. But I think these are the only legit guys who make I.D.'s online.

Have you read anything thats been posted before this? FarEastID seems to send a product SOMETIMES and when they do, it looks nothing like the real state driver's license. You sure as hell won't get into bars and just buying from a grocery store or gas station could be sketch.

The only place that ever delivered was American-Novelty.com as far as I know. Seems they closed and opened a new business selling different cards. So I dunno if it's worth it or not..seems along the lines of the stuff the id shop sells..so hm. Any opinions?
612 days ago by Daniel [send email]
I have mixed emotions. It appears that their new cards aren't really that similar to the actual states they represent. I'm sure they would send you a product, but I have a feeling it would be of even poorer quality than they used to be.

BTW... please stop emailing me... I will hook you all up as soon as I get my ID. Just have a little patience... it hasn't even been a week yet.

Haha... Well that didn't take long to get deleted... I guess you'll just have to keep emailing me then.

Your post makes no sense. Your a shill. You claim that the site you mention delivers the goods ONLY as far as you know. How you know this if you never ordered one? Your like the 10th person on here saying the site you mentioned is legit but NEVER bought an ID from them. Your a shill. In fact I DID purchase an ID from them and let me tell you the ARE A SCAM! So don't come back here saying they aren't if you NEVER bought and ID from them. Hersay is WORTHLESS. You have to ask yourself why so many people on here are defending that site. I bet its the same poster that runs the damn site! American-novelty is run out of the USA! Thats ALL that needs to be said to ensure they are a SCAM!

American-Novelty.com is A SCAM and RIP-OFF!

PERIOD!
606 days ago by Daniel [send email]
I think you misread that. He said "american novelty was the only one that delivered as far as he knew". Not "as far as he knows, american novelty delivers". Slight word change but totally different meaning.

American novelty is established with the better business bureau (www.bbb.com). If you had a dispute, you could have settled it with them before they closed. They're now on ebay (as allstarnoveltycards) which also has claim settlements and if they got too many complaints they would no longer be able to hold auctions.

My friends and I probably ordered in excess of 20 IDs from them. Although our one order did take over a month and a half to get here, they did deliver.

Don't take this as a recommendation, I ordered a fake ID recently and it was NOT from american-novelty's successor. I'm just inclined to believe that you got very unlucky.
605 days ago by Daniel [send email]
I just recently read somewhere that you can contact the guy on AIM as "allstarnovelty" and they can try and resolve your sale. Since the site went down in October I guess they had some problems so I'd try and IM him.
605 days ago by Kyle [send email]
I sent him e-mails and he said disclaimers are printed on the ids, and they dont replicate state holograms over the ids so its useless.

Ok every one that ripped off by Novelty id factory i think i found a way to get back at the guy u sent money to. I found a guy that lives in Limassol, Cyprus name Andreas Socratous, as all of you that got ripped off (along with myself) may remember is who we sent our money to through Western Union. Well come to find out he owns a business there and guess what i found his telephone number and address!! It is as follows:

Andreas Socratous Licensed Estate Agents
Kanika Sea Forum Tel. 357-25-587477

Lol... Daniel.

Did you really say if a fake id site is registered with the BBB, it has to be legit???

OMG... Nothing but Children here I swear!

Buddy you shouldn't be on advocating any site as being legit or not. Your obviously; a damn FOOL. Just like the ass that said a legit site is one that takes credit cards.
603 days ago by Frankly [send email]
Daniel is obviously a shill for an ID company. Why does he take such an interest to repute bad comment about other sites??? Owner, perhaps??

"My friends and I probably ordered in excess of 20 IDs from them. Although our one order did take over a month and a half to get here, they did deliver."

So what did you get??? CRAP or not? You didn't mention the details??? I know you didn't get a legit fake ID. Why did you omit the details? What fake id seller sells his IDs on Ebay??? Buddy... GET OFF OF HERE!!!

"Don't take this as a recommendation, I ordered a fake ID recently and it was NOT from American-novelty's successor. I'm just inclined to believe that you got very unlucky."

Its a recommendation or you wouldn't have posted it!!! I thought this site deletes positive posts about sites that deliver, but I feel they even know you got NOTHING from them.

From what I understand American-Novelty.com was closed in October and they are just now back up. Other posts I've read around some other boards say they are offering refunds/replacement orders to those who never received them. So, either the poster above is working for someone else or just causing trouble for the sake of it.

To continue the original discussion and point of this board..I have never received my order from NoveltyIdFactory.com nor USNoveltyId.com. Luckily I sent "test" run orders to them so I'm not out much money.. but I'm still at a loss of who to buy from at this point. I would like some information on some private sellers that are actually legitimate, Like Kelvar used to be before he was busted.
