Take your money and run away
Complaint Rating: 87 % with 100 votes
This complaint is posted to advise other unsuspecting customers of the fraudulent practices of the business, namely Novelty ID Factory. Their website address Noveltyidfactory.com is operating strictly to obtain monies for non-governmental issued identification cards without delivery of product to the consumer. I placed an order with this business, completed payment, and was promptly responded to by the business, telling me they would take care of my order, having it shipped out immediately. Needless to say, upon non-receipt of the product quite some time past my purchase date, I contacted them to inquire about my order. Never did they respond to more than three emails forwarded to them regarding the matter. Quite obviously, I was taken for my money, never to hear back from them in the future. I will take full responsibility for the fact that they stated their payment form was via Western Union only, which although I was skeptical, I trusted and placed my order. A thief is a thief in the end, no matter what, and I simply want to get it out their for other potential customers to be aware of what this so called business is actually in business for... TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!

The collector via Western Union goes by:
Name: Andreas Socratous.z
Location: Cypress, Europe.

So to any of you who may be considering placing and order through this business which is strictly a front to essentially steal your money and stiff you completely, please be advised of exactly what is going on. Don't be scammed by them as I unfortunately was. We all work hard for our money, but some just want to sit back and like the heroin pusher, do nothing and take all. Certainly it is only a matter of time before this bogus operation they set up falls apart, and this posted message will most certainly aid in starting that process. Again, their business name is Novelty ID Factory, and their email address is Noveltyidfactory.com

anyway to cancel the payment?

Ok... There is no legit id maker sites out there and even if there is, this board will not say so because its a complaint board. The comment will get deleted by the host if it says a site is legit. Don't trust anything out there because everyone of them is a scam!

To be frank, I don't know why people check this site out AFTER they place the order. $100, $200, $300 - that's a lot of money to me, and I'm glad I checked this site out BEFORE I placed my order. I still have my cash, and will never order from any online id maker. I'm glad I did the research to save some money.

I contacted Far East ID and tried to communicate with them on a rational level. I asked them how I can be assured a product will arrive if I send them my money or if we could perhaps do something by C.O.D. The person emailing the responses would not put their name on the email, wouldn't directly answer my questions and actually berated me for being inquisitive. Not a great way to run customer relations. Typically a legitimate company will answer all of a customers questions to the customer's satisfaction if they want their business. Further attempts to get questions were never responded to. I for one am not going to send these arrogant worms any of my money. Any legitimate company will offer some sort of balanced payment method to their customers and be cordial with their communications.

90% of all the fake id sites on the net are run by 3-4 people/groups. The sites come and go. They are not meant to last to long. A domain name and hosting is $5 a month and the income is in the tens of thousands for any site. Boards like this have little effect and the owners are laughing their asses off.

Move on.

Hello, I am sending you this message to warn you and any future customers of www.noveltyidmaker.com that this site rips you off and steals your money. Over 4 weeks ago I purchased a novelty ID for $99.00, on their website it says that the ID will reach your door within 5 days, in my case it has been one month and I still have nothing. I sent them over 10 emails but I received no reply. Please remove their advertisement from your site and warn future customers of their lies. Thank you

Thank God I found this site. I'm a skeptic by nature, and I was contemplating on buying an ID through www.noveltyidmaker.com However, the Western Union thing seemed incredibly shifty, despite their lame attempt to justify this on their site.

What is ingenious on their part is the fact they use scam "review" sites which leads unsuspecting consumers to them. Someone may feel they did their research, searching on Google, being assured by sites such as Underground Review that they made a good choice with a site like noveltyidmaker.com because it's "located overseas, not in the US or Canada, which would be an obvious scam"

These people must figure the joke is on us, and the way they probably try to assuage their consciences is by thinking that because those of us searching for a fake ID would be using it for illegal purposes such as getting under a drinking limit or to get into a club, that they, being crooks, are no worse than we are.

Since these people are running a scam out of a country like Cyprus and are dealing primarily with non-EU citizens, (US, Canada, Australia), they remain safely out of the ripped off customers' governments' jurisdictions.

It is really unfortunate that this information can't be readily spread online to help prevent other people from falling prey to these scam artists, but I'm glad I saved myself ~$100!

This site is great... just saved 100 dollars. Thanks guys. I think the best way to get a fake it to go through friends that look like you! Really the only way.

I just came across this site and am very glad I did. I had sent money to noveltyidmaker.com but they had not picked it up yet, so as soon as i saw it was a scam I called westernunion and canceled the transaction. Thank you everyone, you saved me $150. Also, I alerted a friend in Europol to Nikolaos Sechopoulos and the group of fraudulant sites. He thanked me for the name and is following it up for a large money scamming ring.

Ok think about this, you want to file a lawsuit against someone for stealing your money. The money that you payed to buy fake Id's. Which are ILLEGAL. Thats like calling the cops because someone stole your drugs.
658 days ago by Laughing Joe [send email]
I agree, Lara. I liked the post from the guy whom said he alerted interpol. LAUGHABLE! Hey, YOU were going to buy what you thought was a fake id!! THAT IS A CRIME! And what were you going to do with it? Identity theft? Credit card or bank fraud? All you saps here are guilty of a crime and now your all crying foul that you were scammed! And your still looking to break the law by trying to find a site that does sell legit id's.

Grow up!
657 days ago by Tickedoff [send email]
Well personally I was going to use the ID to go to the bar and have fun with my older friends! So the only thing most people on here are guilty of is trying to get around the silly liquor laws of whatever country we happen to reside in.

I can vote, die for my country, I have to pay taxes but I can't fucking grab a beer with my friends? To Laura and Laughing Joe... I found this site just in time...hahahaha still got my money!
Peace!

I used noveltyidmaker.com last week and even paid the extra "rush fee"... I still have nothing. I had a feeling the whole thing was a scam but I took my chances. Reading these comments makes me sick to my stomach. I should have gone with my gut instinct.
