I had booked for a tataindicom broadband connection. I had got in touch with the sales person and he visited my residence, as per procedure and collected all the necessary documents and i paid him 500/- as cash, 50/- as his charge!! Well i was promised the connection in 2 days, but its already 15 days now and still i have no clue whats the status of my connection. Well the sales guy whom i had contacted doesn't pick my call. I called up customer care to check about it, but they asked for application number. I stated the application no which was mentioned on the form, but they said its invalid and they cant help!!

Well my question Is TataI ndicom is aware about these sales guys, as that guy had a ID of the Co?? If so how can they say that they are responsible??

Well i have submitted documents also, i am not sure whom to approach!! But i would request others please don't trust the sales guys, they are more or less cheaters!! Please be careful before submitting your documents. Don't pay the deposit until and unless u get the connection!!

Tata indicom sevice is very poor.I have taken a wireless landline connection in marathahalli area in bangalore.When they installed it in my apartment there was no signal and they promised to put an external antenna and for the past 1 week there is no reply from them.I tried to contact the concerned manager and his response was poor.Every day he will tell it will be done the same day and nothing happened so far.So i advice to think once more before taking connection

My experience---SUB: PAYMENT OF BILL , HARASSMENT

As per your letter dated 06.12.07 which is attached. You have mentioned that I have signed the terms and conditions of your services dated 14/2/2007 at ‘SAI RADHA TELECOMUNICATIONS, ‘SHANTHI NIVAS’ K.M.MARG, UDUPI .

YES YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT I MADE THE GREATEST MISTAKE OF AVAILING YOUR SERVICES. But let me inform you that I have also been a regular payer of all the bills thereafter.
I purchased a cell phone at the same time 'Samsung Hero’ @ Rs.1500/-with charger at your outlet in Udupi. This was done in the month of February 2007 as you can see in the bill. The cell phone stopped working on July 11th that also is evident by the last bill that you have sent. I went to SAI RADHA TELECOMUNICATIONS, where I bought the connection and lodged a complaint, two employees gave the phone to a technician inside another room, who informed me that they would have to send it to Mangalore for repair. NOTE: I was not given any voucher for having given the phone for repair. For the next 4 days I had no communication though I was told that I would be informed as it was a post paid connection. I repeatedly rang them up and was told that it could not be repaired at Mangalore and hence was sent to Bangalore. After that I had no communication from them except asking to pay the bill. Now I refuse to do so for the points to be noted----

1. I do not have the phone nor the charger.
2. It was post paid service I had taken so therefore why should I
pay when I dont have the cell and have not utilized it
3. The phone was not working after six month !!
( ? Standard)---the reason given after 4 months (that is 10 months
later) --water had damaged it. How? I gave the cell before heavy
monsoon started & the cell is always in the department I work
locked as i get signal only at Manipal and not at Hiriadka
4. You already have my deposit of Rs.500/- & my mobile:- my gift
to 'TATA TELESERVICES'

If you take legal action as you have threatened, we have enough people who have witnessed by listening over phone and were there when your representative came and harassed us repeatedly not willing to say anything about the mobile that I had given. Escaping their responsibility by saying that it was damaged due to water you can go to consumer court and so on.
Thus I hereby refuse to have anything to do with you. You can keep the Rs 500/- deposit as payment against the bill and the mobile as a gift by me to the great TATA teleservices. I am sure by now 100s of customers would have suffered like this. God save people who become your customers.

i have buy a tata indicom prepaid no from the pandav nagar Delhi on 20.12.07.it was activated when i purchase it but after 3 days it has been disactivate.and after complaints a lot of time it is close till now.
pls tell me wat is my fault

Hi,

This is faruk nagori. I had two post paid connection from tata indicomm bangalore and i had pai more then 40000 ruppes as a bill for 1 year. I disconnected both the connection while i got transfered from bangalore to delhi.

Still i m getting bills on my bangalore address. I tell u i m not going to pay a single amount of money.

i have applied for tata indicom walky connection at new delhi. Immediately some persons come from tata. I thought they are from tata. But afterwards i come to know that they are from ITBL Telecom Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi. They said they got request from tata to book the walky connection. So I have paid Rs.1152 for the walky connection along with all the documents. But I did not get connection and instrument. When I contaced the Tata indicom office at Connaught place, they said we are not responsi ble, you contact the private agent thorough whom you paid the money.But the ITBL Telecom Pvt. Ltd says you contact the TATA, we are not responsible. Since I approched only the Tata Tele services, and only they forwarded to ITBL Telecom Pvt.Ltd, only the Tata's are responsible. But inbetween my money is held up some where. Tata officials when I approached, their incharge Mr.Jain in connaught place office said don't allow these peple inside the office. Ask him to come again in the long que. It is the responsibility of tata to either give connection or return the money along with my documents.

Quick Summary of my experience with TATA Indicom broadband @ Chennai.

TATA Indicom broadband (VSNL) guys lost track of money they took from me.
Kept blaming about non-payment and started to de-activate my connection without prior notice.
Remember I am a customer who had been using TATA Indicom broadband for a year now.
Activated the connection Feb 15th 2007

If this is how they treat their customer who had been using it for a year, forget those new comers. Will be treated next to piece of SHIT.

They have damn good technology in place and BUNCH of IDIOTS to maintain their backoffice operations.

Another way they cheat customers is by not giving the downtime credit for usage.
Its like sarkari office... Working or not you still need to pay the full rent.

I had booked tata internet for my office and as well as my boss residence with telephone number also.2 months before and also given the cheque of rs.800 to sales person whose name is SANDEEP SURWADE NUMBER 9987249309 and after that his number is also not switch off and when ringing not receiving call after month he given me other number whose name is MAYUR he get work done of my office after 15 days then after he also same like sandeep then i got the Team Leader Number Mr.Anil 9223519087 he said that he will go through this matter and he will call me with in day but days getting end.But i didn`t received any call and after i got Mr.VINOD number who is head 9223398343 he also same so you imagine all tata people are thag they fooling people and just making money so don`t go with tata just say tata to tata internet they are cheater and remember this names and numbers which i mention and my case is still pending

I inquired about the Post-connection of TATA INDICOM for the Delhi/ NCR Circle from Mr Dhermendra (9212222401) from the Head office in Delhi at the okhla at Mathura Road.
I asked for the STD services and he pursued me for nearly a week even at the odd time to take the connection (349/- rental with STD & LOCAL Free for 349/-) and after that the call charges will be Rs1/- for STD and Rs0.50/- for Local irrespective to the landline or cell or service provider as the case may be.

I agreed and he approached me on 24th May at 9:30 PM and took all the documents and Rs 500/- and gave me a carbon copy of the customer application form (no DL 01168566) and promised me to deliver the SIM on 25th ie on Sunday (Note that he said that TATA INDICOM PERSONNALS HAS TO WORK EVEN ON SUNDAYS), but the very next day i could n’t get any correspondence from his side. This is not the end even on Monday on 26th May 2008 he didn’t picked up any of my call and even kept his cell off for all the time during the working hours . This made me to lodge a complaint at the TATA INDICOM Customer Care and minutes after the complaints was lodged i got a call from the Chandigarh from MR Raman (no 0172-6601101), he promised me to deliver the sim within the next 24 hours, this made me to have a feel good factor. But all my happiness turned into sadness when again i got a call from the Faridabad no (0129-6557388), Mr Manjeet asked me for Rs.99/- for the new sim, promising that the rs.99/- will be adjusted in my 1st Bill and what gave me a big shock that he told me that there is no as such pal which was offered to me.The plan which i was offered was only for local free calls and there is no as such provision for the free STD calls. This was a great shock to me when he told that the Rs.500/- which i gave to Mr Dhermendra are not reflecting in the system as if i haven’t made any payment.

I immediately made call to Mr Dhermendera to confirm the same and to add on to my disappointment he said “ he has to confirm it” .again he called me up saying that “ there are no free STD calls but only local calls for Rs349/- are free”. Then he approached me at 10:00 PM in the night requesting me to take the SIM, which i denied as that was not having the plan as promised to me.

Today i again got calls from the Chandigarh office, and they promised me to look into the matter asap, but till now there are no updates. Now i’m fed up with the services of TATA INDICOM presuming that if it can cause so much trouble at the start then what would be the scenario at the later stage.
I kindly request you to look into this matter and plz help me to get my Rs500/- back .

i purchased surf2 whiz connection on 14th may, 2008, under your scheme of 2 months unlimited surfing and download free. but, now im constantly getting calls and smss about my high usage bills. i confirmed again with the dealer, but he says the scheme is available to me. even after complaining to the dealer, i recieve the calls again. after i maild my complaint to their nodal office, instead of solving the matter, they are demading money from me, threatening to cut the connection and even saying that we can get a discount on our bill, which was promisd to be free to us! some executives ask us to submit few percentage of the bill. what is all this non-sense? when executievs say to resolve and get back to us in few minutes, they never turn back! this is not expected from a co. like TATA who has the trust of people. i could have taken an unlimited plan earlier if it was not promised to me that for 2 months i wont get any bill. is that a tactic to sell your product by lieing to customers?
