I've received a text message stating that I have won a prize of 91000 GBP in an ongoing Nokia promotion. There is a telephone no as well as an e-mail address. The e-mail address is nokia-uk2@uk2.net and the tel no is +447045743467.

Please verify if this is a scam or hoax.

Hi. I also got the same sms about the ongoing promotion. i sent an email asking more information and thank god that i didnt call. There is a telephone no as well as an e-mail address. The e-mail address is nokia-uk2@uk2.net and the tel no is +44704527613

I hope there could be some way to stop this scam.

Dear All,

The same text i also received today congratulating for my mobile number winning 182000 pounds. Definintely it is a fake text and surprisingly in the name of NOKIA UK!!! I have also already wrote to the domine provider www.uk2.net to their support division at their emial ID "support@uk2.net". Probably they can block these IDs. I may also advice you to write them to block such IDs.

My friend Mr. Raju has also got a same text message from Nokia UK that his mobile number has won GBP 215000 in the ongoing Nokia Mobile Promotion and asked to contact them on their telephone No. +44 704 5740496 and emil to nokia.uk@uk2.net.

What to do ? Is it scam or real ? Can you clarify by sending a reply on my above email address.

Yesterday I also received the message from - NOKIA UK

Congratulation, your mobil number has won 182,000 pounds in the NOKIA MOBIL PROMO. For verification, emil: infor-nokia(at)uk2.net & Call +44-704-574-3467.

I am surprised to see that all these sort of scams are originated with a telephone number in UK.
