Like to sleep in on your weekends off? Like to not be a slave to answering your phone every hour when not at work? Not if 24 Hour Fitness wants to ask you again and again and one more time again if you paid your renewal -YES and while we're having this chat AGAIN do you want to upgrade your membership? This Sunday morning the calls started at 8:10 a.m. It's now noon and the calls are numbering four and rising. I know because I'm a customer the Do No Call Registry doesn't qualify. I've asked that they take me off their phone list , I don't owe them anything and I don't want anything more PERIOD but that service will take 24-72 hours. I was told that "Jamaica 24 Hour Fitness Financial" will continue calling me all weekend! I wish I could call the president of 24 Hour Fitness at home say next Sunday starting at 6:00a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and 9:a.m. and 11:00a.m. and...!

FYI spoofing caller ID for purposes of harassment is a federal crime.

I went in for a tour at 24 Hour Fitness nearly two weeks ago. In order to get a tour, they wanted my name and phone number. I asked them how they use this information, and the front lady said "Don't worry, it's just for our records". Since then, I have received almost daily calls from them heckling me over whether I thought more about joining the gym. So far, I have called them 3 times to get my phone and email off their list and even had a very direct conversation with the manager yesterday...well, today I had yet another call from 24 Hour Fitness "Hi there, just wondering if you decided on a gym". I think when I called them again today, furious, I used the word "unacceptable" 3 times! Sigh.
If "Corporate" ever reads this, I chose not to join your gym BECAUSE of your harassing calls. Here's a new slogan for you "24 Hour Hecklers!"

I am so enraged that I get these calls all day long every day. I want to find out the executives at 24 hour fitness that allow this to happen and knock on there doors all day long every day until they discontinue to harrass me. Is there any way we can file a lowsuit? The voice messages I have to constantly listen to and delete eats into my cell phone minutes - I think we should file a class action suit.

Ditto to all of you. I have been getting harrased my the call centers saying i owe money. I canceled my membership in 2005 and they keep charging me and have not canceled my membership. Now they say they can't cancell my membership because i owe them money. They have told me they will take me off the call list and resolve the issue. when they continued calling i asked for a manager and surprise surprise the manager is out. I think this is 24 hour fitness policy. To say the manager is out. Tell you what. 24 hour fitness sucks but i want to be a manger for them. seems you never have to work.

I would also like the phone number and e-mail of carl liebert the third. I think i found him on facebook. i also joined 24 hour fitness on facebook just so i could leave my issues.

I had just joined 24 hour fitness and paid in full. I got harassing phone calls several times a day asking for payment of $275 due now. No matter how many times I told them I was paid in full they kept calling and were demanding payment. I was worried about my credit so against my husband's wishes I paid them hoping they would realize the error and return my payment. They did later see their error and say they would send a refund. It never came. I called again and was told the same thing. No refund ever arrived. I called again, and they gave a confirmation number for a refund they were sending. No refund ever arrived. Frustrated I stopped going to they gym for a long time. I started going again and called about it again. They don't know what I'm talking about and are no help and have no record of my confirmation number or any of my many calls. I really want to email the President about this but can't find his email. Anyone know Carl Liebert's email address? I need this matter resolved. It began in Oct. 2006!

I keep getting automated calls from 24 Hr Fitness on my cell twice a day! I have nothing to do with 24 Hr Fitness! Never went there, never want to and will tell anyone who goes there not to!

I guess someone has my number on thier account! There is no way for me to stop these calls.

The ###s seem to think thier time/money is more important than thier customers!

I have also received phone calls from 24 hour fitness wanting me to renew my upgraded membership. They call at all hours of the day, all day long. I have asked to speak with their manager and was told that they were busy and would call me in 3 to 5 minutes. I never got a call back. I went as far as to call the corporate office and was guaranteed that I would not recieve any more calls; two hours later I got another call. They will not stop calling. This is truly HARRASSMENT!

My cell phone rang twice. It was a computer generated voice. needless to say, I was the one wasting "my" time as the computer voice went through a menu of selections and then..I pressed the appropriate digit. Next, was a real womans voice from the Jamaica 24 hour fitness financial services stating that they were unable to charge my credit card because I bank with a credit union. What? (this is the second time I have had to go through this for the SAME REASON )
I thought this was a scam. I called the local fitnesss center in Boulder, Colorado...of course there was nobody present who could help me. The manager was out.

My 11 year old daughter has been getting 3 calls a day from 24 hour fitness. The caller ID is masked ([protected]), so she doesn't answer, but I've answered and told them to stop calling. So far they haven't. They also refused to let me speak to a manager.
