Fraud and cheating! Complaint Rating: Company information: Skate America United States www.skateamerica.com Beware buyer. I ordered from this company Skate America 2 months ago a pair of shoes. So a week goes by, they send an e-mail apologizing for the delay and that my order will soon arrive. Next week and then again same deal as before the promised e-mail. And you can figure this has happened for 2 months now. There is no contact phone number on the site. There is only a send a note to the company and we'll contact you back shortly in which they of course do not. What am I supposed to do?? I'm sure I am not the only person this has happened to! Advise smb!

Hi All!! If you have ever ordered or plan to order from SA read this... First off this company is run by jackals seriously... They are fully aware of what they are doing to people ie cheating, potential fraud, and any other complaint because i guarantee they are all true. Direct line number: 800-595-5311. Not to address each complaint,but a short statement... Every single post on here is true, I promise from personal knowledge. Dial those numbers if you ordered and RAISE HELL!!! They may tell you they can't immediately refund you but they can and will.

Don't fall for this scam, and it is a scam!!! Mike Bornstein is the owner, managers are Brendan Gecik and Nate Jordan. They treat their employees worse then their customers, whatever you do don't support this company

I've waited no longer then 2 weeks, but when I see this I get scared off .. what do I do to cancel my order? I searched all over my account but it just can't be done.. And what alternatives do I have besides SkateAmerica? Fuck this, I used 700 dollar, if I cant cancel it I REALLY will kill myself..

To cancel your orders people please review this topic and you will find the phone numbers to get call and also the managers names you need to speak to. DEMAND A REFUND! They will try and get you to alternate to another product but don't fall for it. Like stated above they can and will give it to you. Great alternatives to shopping at www.activemailorder.com where skateboarding actually matters to people not just taking money from people.

How can this site be fraudulent? It's part of Amazon isn't it? I've been searching for some shirts and a lot of the sites that have it, redirect me to buy it from Amazon, then Amazon says it's sold by SkateAmerica. So if Amazon approves of SA, it must be a good company you can trust... but after reading all these stories I don't know what to think. Maybe Amazon is all sh*t...

It's not that the site is fraudulent. The place is a real business but just a poorly run one. They don't care about the customers that keep the place running. Only about putting more money in the pocket of the owner so he can have ferrari's and porsche's to drive to work. I would just advise to shop elsewhere. If you see something you like on the site just remember that there are other sites with the same product who actually keep stuff in stock. Just remember the name of the product and search google to find it elsewhere.

I ordered from this website on over a week ago and they haven't even began to process my order. I knew it was too good to be true. I wish I would've found out all this bad stuff about them before I ordered. They haven't taken money out my account yet... so I'm thinking about just canceling my order.

Ok I did not see this site in time. I do not know how my order will work but I just put in an order for the skate shop and I have read all the complaints and they are all about cloths. Does anyone have any information about skate america's skate shop? I just spend 100 dollars on skate equipment and I wonder if I will get it all or not.

I've ordered a number of things from SkateAmerica in the past couple of years and never ran into any trouble until the last time I ordered (Christmas 2006). I was very pleased with the service until then. In fact, when the trucks I'd wanted on one of the skateboards I'd ordered were unavailable, they called me asking if I'd like to replace them with others or wait until they got more (I replaced them with others). The shipping time was always reasonable.

The last time I ordered, a couple of items I'd ordered were "out of stock." When they e-mailed me with that information, I responded that I wasn't interested in replacing the items and to cancel the order for those items. That was done, and my account was credited, although that took longer than I expected.

So, on the whole, I'm satisfied with their service. I just ordered a complete skateboard for my son for Christmas. Hopefully, I'll still be a satisfied customer.

Skate America Is screwing me as well, 75% of their products are unavailable, they just start screwing you around, shipping takes at least 5 months, that is if you even get it. Worst customer service I ever encountered!!!

Thanks for the heads up everyone. I was about to order something for my baby from these guys - glad I went looking for a coupon code and found this. I'd reccommend Tactics.com for most of your skate needs - they didn't have the baby Sector 9 stuff I was looking for, but they usually have what I want and I've never had any problems.

Oh thank god! I was about to buy from SkateAmerica until I read many of your complaints. I was thinking of buying a pair of globe shoes, two Spitfire shirts, a Volcom keychain and a Spitfire Patch until I read many of these complaints. Can anyone give me a trustworthy site? Thanks.
