They will tell you they can modify your loan, even if it is not possible. They will try to get you to believe them by telling you they only accept cases that are approved and reviewd by their lawyers. They will also ask for an upfront retainer fee between $1, 500 and $2, 900 if you agree to their services and they will give you your money back if your loan is not modified. The truth is that you will never get your money back! This is a scam.

I have the same problem with company and I am still waiting for a return call from a Kevin in reference to the the contract refund policy. It has been several months since the close of our file and it appears that I am getting the run around. There is no one there with integrity and the owner has not returned any of my phone messages (Thomas P. Giordano). It appears that they are not people of their word. I am going the next step and contacting the California Bar Association and file a complaint along with the State Bar Task force that investigates loan modification attorneys. This an in justice that needs to be corrected. It is not right and illegal!

I've had the same problem. I've contacted (Thomas P. Giordano)along with my husband and have had little to no responses. I've had no help solidifying our mortgage and am worried they are not taking care of us.

We also filed with this company back in August 2009. Still waiting, and not getting return phone calls. Please let me know if anyone has gotten a response since your last posting. If not, what action have you taken

I too am having problems with this loan modification company. They have been working on my case since June or July or last year (2009), and I'm stilling waiting. They are not returning calls, and every couple of months there is someone new that is handling my case.

I actually found them on craigslist.org. They posted an advertisement saying they were hiring. I sent my resume, but they were not at the address listed nor did they answer my calls again. Shortly after I started receiving harassing emails from the guy who had set up the interview. Definitely not a legitimate operation. All I can say is, thank god I don't list my address on my resume!
