This TLG Great Fund (Great Fun) 800-290-8603 got my card # through a classmates annual payment I made. They have been charging my card 12.99 a month for 4 months. When I called I was told it would be refunded, but that has not happened.

This is a scam- I did not authorize this

I just noticed this morning $11.99 taken out of my checking account. Calling these B@#$ards and telling them to show me proof I ever authorized this. They better credit immediately and contacting my bank. I cant believe this crap. HOW do people get away with this???

i have had the same problem with these pricks. i never agreed to anything and have never even heard of this company before now. when i called my bank, they told me to call greatfun and have the charges cancelled. when i called great fun, i was told that my bank was the one who offered greatfun's service to me. i'm wondering what bank everybody else is banking at if that isn't too personal. i bank at Bank of America.

These jerk offs got me too. I checked my bank account today and immediately called TLG, they said they would cancel my service and refund my money in 7- 10 business days and then tried to offer other crap to me. I somehow was mislead to the sight through PRICELINE.COM so please be careful when using them. I will post again when and if I see my money.

I am Canadian and have just noticed charges from these ripoff agents since November of 2007 for 12.99 a month. I travel extensively, so it's hard for me to notice small charges like this (yes - my bad - I know).
Anyway, they say that they will reimburse me. Gave me a cancellation confirmation and a fax number etc.
The miracle will be if I am ever reimbursed anything and more importantly not charged in the future.
I too was hijacked through Orbitz - too bad 'cause it's a good travel site.
I'll post again if I get my money back.

I called and complained to get my money back and found out where they get our information from, they told me that they get the info from Fandango and the Movie Watchers Club so if you sign up for any of that odds are they will get you for it.

I have never used the credit card I got this fraudulent charge on with Orbitz so there must be some other way they are getting this information.

I was recently scammed by TLG the same as everyone else here. My husband and I went on vaction and purchased or tickets, car, and hotel online. The charges can from the website where we purchased the tickets... it showed as a 15% rebate for our total trip price. I called and was able to stop the charges and get my money back that was charged. But in the following months other companies that are affliated with TLG such as Great Fun (11.99), Reservation Protection(12.00), Identity Secure(119.99), etc began making charges to my account. I called again to stop the charges... so far they have cooperated and have not made any more charges but let see if the rutrn the $119.99.

I made a purchase through FOOT SMART and after I made the purchase you are asked at the end if you would like more great savings. I must have clicked yes but do not remember doing so. After clicking yes all your credit card info is sent to this company and they start charging you $11.99 for coupons. I do not remember receiving any coupons. Who in their right mind would pay $11.99 a month for coupons? I called the 800 number on my credit card statement and they said they would cancel my membership and return the money. I then called FOOT SMART and they are completely aware of this and seem to have no problem with this company doing this. I told them I would never order again from them and I was going to file a complaint with the BBB. The girl seemed fine with this too. THIS IS A BIG SCAM!

I found out this sham of a company got my information from www.fandango.com - For those of you who purchase movie tickets online you knw exactly who i am talking about. I suggest never using them ever again. Fandango is about to get a piece of my mind...

Just ripped into fandango.com since that seems to be where "GreatFun" got my information from. They did not deny that they could have been the source of where "GreatFun" got my info from. They said at the end of each purchase there is a popup ad and if you merely click on it then they automatically trasnfer your informtin to Great Fun/. The NERVE!!! Fandango sais they no l9onger do business with these people.

I have gotten cought twice now but this company. This time they hit me twice in a 9 day period for 12.99 on a credit card I had not used in over 3 months. I am not sure how they do it but some how they sneak it in when I buy airline tickets or atleast that is what they say when I call to complain. The first time my credit card company took the charge off, I hope that happens again. It is not so much the money but the principle. I hope enough people complain and eventually this scam can be shut down.

I have not read all of the previously posted information, there's just to much of it. Two nights ago was checking out my bank account online and noticed an interesting charge of $11.99 that occured on 6-27-08. The next day I went to my bank and the provided me with the phone number for Great Fun, 800-290-8603. I talked to a man named Christian that could barely speak English. After many attempts to get me to continue with this service that I never signed up for, he told me that I had been automatically enrolled through and online auction site, propertyroom.com. I finally got him to shut up long enough to cancel any further charges and issue a refund. Today I found this site through a Google search and read the first couple of posts. This prompted me to check my account again and I found that I was also charged on 5-22-08 so I promptly called Great Fun again and Noella assures me that this other charge will also be refunded within 10 business days. We'll see. Now I get to email propertyroom.com and yell at them for allowing something like this to happen through their site.

The same thing happened to me. I was looking at my credit card statement and it showed a $119.99 charge and I had no idea what it was. I googled the name TLG Great Fun and a whole bunch of rip off complaints came up. The next day I called the company and after about 20 min of waiting I finally talked to someone. She told me that I check was mailed to my house and in cashing that check they received verification to charge my credit card. The whole thing doesn't make since because I never just cash checks that are sent to me like this. She gave to the whole "Benefits to the program speech ". In the end the she said she would refund my money and discontinue my membership. This is a lesson in checking your bank statements. I only look at my statements every few months because they are sent to my fathers house. I know now to check them all the time. Thanks to everyone how made complaints! Oh and I would use the 1-877-488-9480 # and ask for a rep, the first time I called the system hung up on me.

Add me to the list! $11.99 have no idea how they got my info. but it looks like it must be working for them as the postings go back over a year. I contested with AE and will sit on the phone with these crooks tomorrow!

THIS FRAUD IS PERPETUATED BY MONEY HUNGRY LAWYERS...i too noticed a $11.99 charge on my recent credit card activity. I called Chase...the customer service rep practically finished my sentence. 'Obviously you have been hearing this a lot.' He said, 'Yes, sir, every day.' E V E R Y D A Y ! ! ! ! ! Why wouldn't credit card companies stop making this charge to people's credit cards??? because they are making money too. The only people who are not making money are people like me whose credit card is charged. Get this...the Chase customer rep asked me to wait a minute, put me on hold and the next thing I know I am talking to a TLG Great Fun rep. I asked if they work in the Chase bldg, he said no. I blew up at this guy who promised to cancel my account. CANCEL MY ACCOUNT...how on earth did i open an account with TLG Great Fun you may ask. I purchased an Airtran Airline ticket in May. As has been mentioned above, some airline companies are 'offering' this discount program when you purchase a ticket. You have no choice but to sign up if you want their discount price. A REAL SCAM!!! Call your credit card company...Chase at 1-800-278-4721. Call TLG Great Fun at 1-800-285-5903 or 1-877-709-0966 (ask for Adrian...I just ranted at her for 20 minutes). Call Airtran Customer Relations at 1-866-247-2428 (ask for Nikki...i just ranted at her for 20 minutes too). How do these people sleep at night, how do they get themselves motivated to work for companies that scam and rip people off. They must be on some really good medication or paid a hell of a lot of money. Maybe if we bug the crap out of them by calling and taking up their time with nonsense, they might be forced to shut down. Then again, the lawyers will figure out a way to sue us and make more money. I hope they all rot with all their money around them.

This is the second time I have had problems with Great fun. I have never been able to take advantage of any of there programs and never found a business that would honor the card let alone ever heard of the company. I do believe my states Attorney General may be interested in hearing about my problems with Great Fun.
