Dear Dencil,
I cannot tell you how pleased I am that you came forward to speak your mind. It is very comforting to me, and (I am sure) to all the rest of the customers of Castaway Pools, whether current or former. It means a lot to know that you are sorry for any inconvenience we have had. And to offer yourself to us via email to answer questions, how great is that!
I have some questions for you, and as I'm sure many others would like to know the answers to them, I'll skip the email part and just post them on here so everyone can benefit from the answers you post back.
So, here goes.
1. I'm glad that you're sorry for the "inconvenience". Are you also sorry for the fraud, and the theft, and the bad faith, and for all the lies you told to us? Are you sorry that we p*ssed away good money and got nothing more for it than headache after headache? Do you really think that's what we're all mad about, the "inconvenience" we suffered?
Sorry, that was too many questions at once. I'll try to do better.
2. Were the lies yours, or did one of the other liars tell you what to say?
3. When you say you did "everything you could", did that include lying directly to me on many occasions, and not returning my many phone calls, and disappearing for weeks at a time?
4. You mention respect for your wife and kids. Did you respect them enough yourself by letting them know when they were eating the food that you bought for them with the money that you helped your pals Willie and John steal from us, that they were eating well because of the suffering of others?
5. What is your current address and telephone number? Knowing that will definitely help us speed the legal process along.
6. Can you give us the name and telephone number of one person who was completely satisfied with their Castaway Pools experience? One person who got everything they paid for, in the manner specified in their contract?
7. Are you planning on donating some of your current salary to help the many people who have paid their deposits (or more) and have gotten absolutely nothing from Castaway? Or those who have won court judgements against them but have no way to force them to pay?
That's it for my questions, for now. Let's see how you do with them.
Just for the record, I didn't drag your family into this. Lots of people are wondering where you are, and I just was trying to help out by showing them where I had found information regarding your whereabouts. It sure was nice of your church to post that notice on their web site. I think it's great that you go to church. I fear that the lessons they teach there haven't really sunk in yet though, so you keep it up!
Oh and also, I didn't make fun of your name... I just said it was weird. Now I just think of it as "Pencil" with a 'D' instead of a 'P'. It's helped me out a bunch, it doesn't seem so weird anymore, so I retract the weird comment. I guess your middle name is "Wesley", right? That way all those folks out there can get it right on all that legal paperwork, Dencil Wesley Detamore. It's awful hard to hide when people are looking for you, right?
Oh and one more thing, with regard to my remaining anonymous...call me a coward if you want, at this point I'd rather not have Castaway's legal staff sending me threatening letters about my honest and truthful postings here on the Complaints Board. If I can save even ONE MORE PERSON from going through what I am going through, it makes it all worth it. If I can help even ONE PERSON achieve even a small victory against Castaway by uncovering some small yet important detail and posting it for all to see, it makes me a hero. |
