Never came back to finish the job!

Castaway Pools and Spas installed a pool at my home on 4/5/07. They have never came back to finish the job despite numerous phone calls and letters sent to their office. Their salesman john refuses to answer any phone calls. I would advise anyone in the tristate area to be aware of this company. If this company is hired to install a pool at your home read the contract and beware that the are not responsible for any damage to your home or property. Do not under any circumstances make a payment until they are completely done. They seem friendly but are that lie and deceive the public.

OOPS! after reading my post...the FILTER is NOT running! Found out that there may be a BIGGER problem yet. The leak in the return lines, may have a dirt block from when the filter was shut down in October and sat all winter or the line may have collapsed or we are just SCREWED!

Well, the tarp that was on my pool came off yesterday because the concrete was finally getting started. Not by Castaway of course but by a reputable company. Unfortunately the tarp didn't do much and the pool is a mess. I'm sure it will take me several days to clean out. Now all I need to do is my my fiber optic light kit, ladder, handrail, and slide. Thank you Castaway, John jr, John sr, Denny and William Kalai for ripping me off! Thanks again for stealing my money. I hope you rot in hell!

my comment was about east coast fiberglass pool. my experience with them was wonderful. i wonder if the negative complaint (all by the same person) are all sour grapes. i believe they are. my pool is great. my experience was great. 107c6

"Carol", you should comment on that other discussion about east coast then. This is about Castaway.

Also, no matter how great East Coast was for you, the guy has several other companies that have unsatisfactory records with the BBB, so let the buyer beware. Just another guy who tries to hide his past by changing the name of the company.

why would you care if they are sour grapes carol?you did not even use castaway pools right?how can you say they are all the same person?have you ever called anyone on this board?is this just another castaway comment from john sr.i spoke to joe sasso at the ag this week he told me that they will be making some arrests this coming week.i hope the dalrymples have aaa so they can post bail . heads up john jr you better steal more deposits for bail.

I am so glad that you are Soooooo happy with East Cost Pools...this is about CASTAWAY POOLS!
I am so glad that you will be able to swim and enjoy your pool, so many of us have SOUR GRAPES! Some had money taken and nothing in return, others got only a pool and nothing else, and others like us, have had nothing but problems and had their pool shut down by the building inspector because it was considered and unsafe structure, the pool was put in without a PERMIT. Oh, they applied for the permit a month after the pool was in the ground and that was with a check bounced and was not made good until 6 months later! All of us have had problems and without any resolutions! So if you would like to post about East Coast, start your own comment board!

Castaway Losers - especially the Johns - you can write all the letters you want. I will pursue you, pettion the courts, file complaints, make anti John Dalrymple websites, post his rap sheet there until you pay back and fix the issues you've caused.

If the comment about the AG making some arrests in the near future is accurate than I will invite all of you over to my house to use my lovely pool and celebrate. Oh, sorry, I don't have concrete, ladder, handrail, light and I just found out today I have bad plumbing to the filter that will need to be redone. But if you don't mind swimming in my pond than come on over. LOL! Hey Franco (the one who installed my pool) nice duct tape job on my pvc plumbing pipes. Very McGuyver like!

Hey Castaway scums. Kalai I hope you read this.

I read the John Sr letter to PA Attorney Generals office, he blames you entirely, claims neither him or John Jr were responsible for anything. Not even the 1000 times Dalrymple lied to me. “Yea, we’ll be out”, but my pool sat uncovered with rocks scratching the gelcoat the entire winter ’06-’07. “Yea, Ray will hook up the electric to your heater”, unlicensed, didn’t know what he was doing, didn’t know what a fireman’s switch is. I'm sure Kalai told JD not to follow up and finish my pool. I'm sure Kalai knew about owing MacCrete money, so they wouldn't come back out to my house and fix this piece of garbage concrete I got until you paid them dollars. I'm sure Kalai gave the OK to Dalrymple to tell me he OWNED Castaway. You guys are a pile of lying whale feces.

Oh John Sr, if Castaway Fiberglass Pools is a whole different entity now, who stole the Kennedy deposit in December? The Johns that's who - John Dalrymple (6 time arrested loser) and John Lacomp.

FINALLY, someone is seeing the light. Like I've said before this there is a history with the Johns. Name change after name change. What ever (cash) money anybody gave to either of the Johns never made it into the business account.

Yes, Kalai was warned before anybody was taken for a ride. And didn't keep a well enough eye on the cookie jar. Since the business is in his name he's the one thats taking the fall. Not either Johns. Mr. Kalai had a growing excavation business before all of this. Do I feel sorry for him, I have to say yes. But he knew their history.

So John and John, Don't ever set foot on my property looking for favors you assholes!!! YOU BOTH SUCK AND I HOPE SOMEDAY THIS ALL CATCHES UP WITH YOU.

Hey Kalai--The best thing you can do right now to save your sorry butt is to contact ALL of us and settle your debt! We will not stop pursuing you. (legally of course) We will continue to sue and sue and file criminal charges against you until you pay. If you contact us we will allow you to start making payments to each of us. This is the only way out of this. You will be looking over your shoulder always waiting for the next law suit or to even be arrested for STEALING lots of money. Pay it back and all will be right! You know this to be true. Stand up now and contact us. Do what is right, no matter how badly you wronged us!

P.s. John Sr. and John Jr--we won't stop pursuing you either!
