Faulty cartridge and no response!

We purchased 2 cartridges, a black and a color. The 1 year warranty is not up, we just opened the color cartridge and it is dried up. Tried priming the printer, let the cartridge stand upright several hours as recommended in package. Won't work. Tried calling company for a couple days, several times. Was always told by recording that there was an unusually high volume of calls. Last time was put on hold for an hour!!! In order to get exchange or refund we need RMA number and were supposed to call. Went to website and had no luck there either.
Looks like they try to discourage complaints by putting you on hold. Very disgusted with this company.
