JPMorgan Chase finance charges

They say they offer an interest free loan for 12 months, but nothing could be further from the truth. I tried to pay my account out early and the charged me to do so. Then they also added on plenty of finance charges and late fees when i didn't pay after i thought the account was closed. When i called they were rude and disrespectful. they don't care about the customer. i will never do business with them again. worst loan i have ever had, not worth it!

JPMorgan Chase excessive and wrong

I have 4 accounts at Chase. 2 checking and 2 savings. Each checking was always linked to a savings...just in case.

I was shocked yesterday that my checking account was heavily overdrawn and that in 48 hours they had charged me $292 in non-sufficient fund fees. Meanwhile, my "linked" savings account did not cover any of the shortfall.

I have never had to rely on overdraft protection in the 7 years I was with WaMu. It was just there because it seemed the smart thing to do.

I was told that I was charged nine $33 penalties because I repeatedly overdrew my account. How is that possible? 1. I wrote no checks because I used my debit card which withdraws directly from my account and 2. I'm linked for protection (which again, I have never used before)

A charge came through that was unexpected because it was supposed to posted to another account. They moved that charge to the front of the line so that the other 8 charges were further putting me in the red so that they could charge me $33 per item. I argued that: 1. they already approved the other 8 charges and that they were shown as "pending" transactions to my account and 2. the larger item came in after. They said if it happens on the same business day, they automatically pay the highest item first. OF COURSE THEY DO! They were able to charge me $292 instead of just $33.

They said their "threshold" is a $66 reversal. I told them my threshold is all but one. I am willing to pay the $33 for the one that put us in the red, but no more. I will pull all four accounts if they do not comply. Seems that they will not likely do it because the chat boards I am reading illustrate that this is the business model of Chase...to steal their customers' money.

They also told me that I would have only had a $12 fee if my accounts were linked...which they are NOT. Huh? They always were before.

A sidenote...the October 26 online switchover messed up many of my bill pay nicknames and erased my records. This caused me to pay a wrong account for my annual renewal of my insurance, which in turn caused me to have my homeowner's insurance policy lapse, which caused me to get a nastygram from my mortgage holder telling me I was in violation of my agreement and then I was charged $39 fee to reinstate.

JPMorgan Chase horrible customer service

I recently lost my job and fell 30 days past due on my auto payment. I contacted Chase to let them know and attempt to set up a temporary repayment plan to get caught up and avoid getting another payment behind. to my surprise they do not offer any assistance and if you make any payment other than what is due is will not change your status! I tried to be honest and upfront with them and because they will not deal with me at all I am fearful of losing my vehicle. I have never had a loan through such a horrible company. After talking with other friends and family I discover I am not the only one completely dissatisfied with this company. I will never do any kind of business with them again!

i financed 2 vehicles through chase auto finance not by choice.. i had one for almost 3 years paid in over 10000 dollars and had to give it back because they were not willing to work with me..i got at least 15 phone calls a day from all over the usa from people representing chase trying to collect my payments. today they repossessed my only car i had left. after i just made a payment last week. they are the biggest pieces of crap of a finance company i have ever had to deal with. they are not willing to work with anyone. they frontload interest and nothing goes to principal. i have never been harrased as much as chase has harrased and hurt my credit. i will never recommend them nor will i go through them again. if you have a choice never use chase bank for any auto loans.

JPMorgan Chase run-around

I applied for a loan modification to my existing mortgage with Chase on July 8, 2009 (the date they signed for my Fedex package). After a couple of months, I contacted them at the telephone number they listed on the application. I was told my application was under review.
Today, December 7, 2009, again called the number on the application [protected]). After several minutes on hold, I was asked for, and provided, information regarding my loan number, address, telephone number, etc. and was advised to call another number [protected]). Again, after several minutes on hold, I was asked for the same information and again I provided it. I was then told that my file was transfered to the "Rochester" office and I should call [protected]. At this writing, I have been on hold for 37 minutes. It is obvious that Chase has no intention of cooperating with the Loan Modification program. Is 37 minutes on-hold a reasonable response time?

Chase is the worst kind of vulture. Several years ago, I ran into some hard times -- just for a month -- and had a Chase credit card. I racked a single late charge. What did they do? Run the credit card interest rate up to 30%, then tell me that if I wanted to "avail myself of the privilege" (actual words), I could submit a "credit increase" application, submit all my financials to them and they would "let me know." All of this by a rude ESL speaker from another country no doubt!

No, Chase does not and never will care about you. Chase was formed in the original robber baron years by predatory Jewish financial interests. The trend continues to this day.

Completely agree. Since going into short sale with Chase in second position, they have consistently violated the fair debt collection act by leaving a consistent 3 messages per day at work and home numbers. The first mortgage holder (there is a first and second on the property) was notified as per law and desisted in the daily calls when the short sale packet was presented. Chase refuses to do so, even though they demonstrably have the sale paperwork in hand.

Chase purchased the original mortgage paper unrequested by me, and without my consultation. When the loan was originally set up, it was through two independent loan brokers with reasonable terms. Chase "purchased" the paper and everything has been nasty and harassing ever since. And screw any trolls on this list who state what right so and so has to reclaim "their" property. When legal due process has been followed by a homeowner, Chase Mortgage Bank has to legally follow suit. Banks are the ones stuffing people into non-performing properties that lose over 100% value per annum. They are the worst form lawbreakers and moneychangers feeing on the misery and misfortune of others.

Save yourself a world of pain. After 16 calls over 2 months and as many conflicting answers to questions, I was approved for a trial period - but ONLY after telling them I would pursue legal action due to them "losing" all my private paperwork somewhere between Texas and Florida a few months before. Somehow, magically, they must have found it (despite telling me they had no record of receiving it until I mentioned my signed registered mail receipt that they had indeed received it in Florida. When talking to a different rep (yes I have all their names and I suggest you do this also) I was told it was sent to Texas where it sat for a month before being returned to Florida and nobody can tell me why. But wait...theres more! Florida never got it back. It disappeared somewhere in the sky between Texas and Florida...oops.
Anyway, a modification plan magically showed up at my door after this and I paid my 3 trial payments ahead of time AND over the phone to make sure they received them. Every day over the next 3 months I received a call from them asking for my address and phone #'s and if I still lived in the residence. Every day my answers were the same. Then the calls stopped. So I called for a status report and was told I didn't make enough money for a modification based on the exact same profit and loss statement I had submitted that they had based my approval on! Nothing had changed but their mind. A little obvious don't you think? They have no intention of being told by the government what they are supposed to do. Good luck but be prepared for more frustration, roller coaster rides, and then an ultimate no. No reason .

JPMorgan Chase - loan modification

I applied for a loan modification and was approved. Several months now I have received notices of foreclosure. Now chase is claiming that the modification was not approved . I have been making the required monthly payments on the new lowered payment. I was told that as long as I made the 3 months payments that my lowered rate would be permanent. They never...

JPMorgan Chase unethical nsf charges, entrapment

JP Morgan Chase and it's upper management should be held accountable, fined and jailed for taking advantage of the public and small businesses.

Ever since the merger of bank one and Chase in 2005, and appointment of their ceo, their practices have become highly unethical. Unfortunately many individuals are unable to effectively articulate the problems to an "ethical/legal" status so they continue to hurt and deceive the public who trusts their money and small business dollars to this long standing trusted name.

Here's what they are doing:
Firstly, they have set an algorithm in their computer to process ALL DEBITS FIRST at the end of each day rather then the ORDER in which things occur (otherwise known as FIFO - First In, First Out). This will intentionally hurt individuals who are close to their bottom but do not actually go under...until chase PUSHES them under to collect fees and start the scam ball rolling.

Here's an Example of how chase will turn a legitimate $100 deposit into a $30 deposit WITHOUT you knowing it is happening.

Let's say your balance is $10 (ten) dollars. Then you deposit/transfer $100.00 into your checking account from another chase (or other) account this day making the balance $110.00 total. LATER that day, you have a debit from a restaurant that you charged to your debit card, for $25.00. You just overdrew and DIDN'T know it! Then, you buy a chocolate bar for $5.00... ...YOU will OVERDRAW TWO TIMES, and be charged a $35 dollar NSF fee for every overdraw. Sick isn't it!

Here's why...at 11:59pm...the computer processes all debits first...which is false because you put money in BEFORE the debit actually occurred!

So in REAL LIFE...your account does this: $10 + $100 = $110.00. Easy.
In CHASE life, the CHASE COMPUTER is programmed to lie and scam you like as follows: 11:59pm, it takes a $10. balance, SUBTRACTS THE DEBITS FIRST for @ $25 (balance is now negative $15), then $5.00 (balance is now negative $20.) Then subtracts $35. for each overdraw that CHASE caused (subtract $70). Your balance is now Negative $90. NOW...add your deposit of $100... and you are back at a $10.00 dollar balance when you think you actually have an $80 balance...which you then go and spend another $20- or so and again go under. How is this legal... i thin it's not and with our new president... will be exposed and the company and it's upper management held accountable.

What kind of society has Chase created? This is not only fraudulent and deceitful, but really steps back the trust in our society from a moral standpoint. Shame on them... and their tactics to hurt the unaware and middle class.

JPMorgan Chase check return

Worst customer service that I have ever encountered at any time. Without discussing the details too much, Chase rec'd a check deposit, and it was returned as NSF (from the other bank account). At the time that Chase posted the NSF, there was over $60, 000 available funds to cover my small check. Meanwhile, I'm out $20 (Chase's return charges). And it has now been over 2 weeks, and the check in question has neither been redeposited or returned to me. According to Chase now, they have NO record of the transaction. Despite my repeated attempts of giving them their own documentation (the copy of the check, date of return, their trans#, etc.). It's appalling. Thank you "ComplaintsBoard" for providing me the forum to vent over my frustration with this experience. I will no longer bank with Chase, and I will do everything in my power to warn my friends and family about their conspicuous business practices. I don't see them changing or caring whatsoever.

JPMorgan Chase paying property taxes on an unrelated property

For the second year in a row, out of our escrow account, Chase financial property tax dep't has paid the property taxes on property for which they hold the loan as well as on another property that has nothing to do with them. They have held the loan on this property for several years . yet suddenly last year they started paying the taxes on an unrelated property as well. We tried to get it stopped after they did it last year, but they are so dumb, they did it again this year. This has depleted the escrow account. Last year, not realizing what had happened, we accepted a refund from the Tax Department because the property taxes were paid by another mortgage company as well. When we fianlly realized what had happened, the Chase escrow account was depleted and caused us to have to pay more on the mortgage payment. This is yet another in a series of misfortunes with Chase Financial.

JPMorgan Chase closing all credit lines

Could not believe that after being a washington mutual customer for over 14 years with a line of credit never in default, Chase bank closed the line of credit with no notification .
I feel that all washington mutual customers inherited by Chase bank are being treated like second class rated customers !
all the washington mutual customers should close their accounts and go to another bank stop all financial transcations with them and see how fast they would change their tune at a mass financial shift of that nature !

WAKE UP CHASE- these are not times to be toying with the general public and their money, people are now more financially aware than they have ever been !

JPMorgan Chase interest rate

After years with Wamu and now with Chase, I have had an absolutely perfect payment history with a high credit score and low debt utilization. I received a letter with no explanation that the rate was going up on the card over ten points. With Wachovia merging into a not so appealing Wells Fargo, I was looking for a new banking institution and I thought Chase may be the answer. Well, apparently Chase has a very low regard for its customers and a very narrow focus on it's future. Stay away from Chase, it's new here in Florida...they can't be trusted to be a good financial partner.

Unfortunately I was charged twice by my gym membership which caused me to go over my credit limit. I immediately let Chase know as I was charged an Overlimit fee and they were extremely rude and basically told me it was my problem. I called my gym, spoke with the manager who was extremely apologetic and immediately issued a credit for the duplicate charge as well as the Overlimit fee. All was good until my 9.99% interest rate increased to 29.24%. I once again called Chase, they simply didn't care and 2 managers hung up on me. (I am a Customer Service Representative as well and I was not rude therefore didn't deserve to be hung up on). I sent email after email requesting them to reinstate my rate and they continuously denied me. FINALLY, one last email...they reinstated it! I replied thanking them and went on my way until yesterday when my statement became available online. I opened it to find that they revoked the rate and put it right back to 29.24%. My min payment is now $100.00. I have the email proof that they reinstated it and now they are refusing to honor it.

Very low reguard... That's even an understatement! They give you credit and when they decide to raise your rate for no reason they dont give a hoot what kind of customer you have been... Your just anohter sucker they burned... Beware they are so nice when they see you comming because once they have you they know they can work you up and down... I would have cancled the account if it wouldnt hurt my credit... Paid it off with a normal credit card without a 27.9% interest rate then cut it up..

Oh by the way I have a 765 credit score yet they doubled my rate in two years! You have been warned..

JPMorgan Chase harassment to close account

I wanted to transfer a CD that was coming due on a Sunday. I went to the bank on Saturday with a request that the money be moved over on Monday to my MMKT Acct. Simple you would think. No, no. Not for Chase. They charged me 6 months interest claiming that I broke the CD agreement by requesting a transfer on the Saturday. Look I said, it was just instructions. Well after 3 days of haggling with them, they claimed that it was the "System" that caused the problem. Or really, the "System". How convenient. I wonder is the "System" done sucking the "Bailout" we Taxpayers gave them. Now they want to LIE and attempt to intimidate their customers (Suckers in their mindset) with any excuse to squeeze more money from us.

Decided to change banks because of my treatment at Chase Bank on the CD "System" error. Why did I think I would be in and out in a few minutes or that this would be simple? Asked an Acct Rep to close out MMKT acct. Bank Rep Question: "Is there a reason you are closing the acct Sir? ME: "I need to use it for personal reasons". Bank Rep: "Is this because of the Interest Rate?". ME: "No. How can I get the money?". Bank Rep: "We can issue you a Cashier's Check". ME: "That would be fine". 5 Minutes later of waiting. Bank Rep: "I am sorry sir, but we can't issue a cashier's check on a Saturday. It is not a legal Bank Day." ME: "What! The bank is open for business." Bank Rep: "Let me talk to my Manager." Anther 5 minutes of waiting. Bank Rep: " We can issue you a cashier's check, but there will be a 8 dollar charge for the check". At this point, I am boiling but keeping my tone at a low conversational level. ME: "Can I get it in cash". Bank Rep: "Let me talk to the Manager". Another 5 minutes of waiting. Now the Bank Rep and the Manager comes on stage. Bank Mgr: " I am sorry sir, but we are going to have to charge you the 8 dollar fee because you don't have a Checking Acct with us. Would you like to open up a checking accounting with us. ME: " Can I get the money in cash and just leave, please?" Bank Mgr: "you seem to be upset sir. Is there anything wrong". I am boiling but still in a calm voice. ME: " All I want is to get my money and close the account. Can you just give me cash." Bank Mgr: "We don't have that kind of cash on hand". ME: "You are a bank. A bank has cash. Can you please let me know by which means can I get my money that would not incur any fees?". Bank Mgr: "Well you could wire transfer the money." ME: "But would that incur a fee transfer?" Bank Mgr: " You are right." ME: " Can I come Monday and get it in cash." Bank Mgr: "Well I won't be able to get that kind of money here by Monday. Now is that wise to be carrying around that kind of cash with you sir? ME:" By what means or method would I be able to get my money and close out this account?" Bank Mgr: "Let me see what I can do." 5 minutes later. Bank Mgr: " Well sir, I am going to waiver the 8 dollar charge on the cashier's check."

Anyone with suggestions on who I can report this to. I remained calm throughout. But I am still boiling inside. Chase Bank was not going to get an excuse to call security on me. This was my hard working money. Why do these bankers think they can treat the public like this?

JPMorgan Chase unauthorized withdrawal

On the 2oth of Nov I attempted to make a payment on my car loan so it would not be late. I usually do this through my own credit union.
For some reason Chase system gave me an error and could not complete the transaction. So I went to a Chase branch on the 21st and paid the car payment. It was posted to my account that day and withdrawn on the following Monday.
Today I checked my account and Chase had issued a preauthorized check with their check number not mine and withdrew another payment plus charged me 10.00 for the processing. This is my rent money. When I tried speaking with someone and pleaded my case I was told there was nothing they could do. That I have to PROVE the money came out of my account to them when it is right there on the screen of both my and their computer. I have to submit in writing and submit to a review board for them to determine if I get my money that they took without my authorization!
This is fraud. If I use some one credit card without their ok it's FRAUD and this is FRAUD. They put the routing number from my check on their check! The number they put on the check is incorrect because on the preauthorization that number was for Farmers insurance check.
I am going to take my car loan to another financial institution as soon as I can.
This is a wrong! I'm going to have my bank file a FRAUD charge against them.

JPMorgan Chase unfair fee assignment

Chase bank does not regulate the obama hma home mortgage program fairly. I followed procedure in the application process, faxed documents as chase requested yet at the end of the waiting and phone calls; chase told me I made to much (Salary) to qualify. You go thru a maize of phone calls, not sure of what department is the proper assisting channel. I paid sums of money to chase for refinancing, being instructed I am denied. Chase does not administrate fairly. It's as though they want you to lose your home (Foreclosure).

JPMorgan Chase watch out

I was a customer of Washington Mutual who had several credit cards. I had 3 credit card accounts with Chase Bank. This multiple accounts was due to "cobrand" cards through Marriott hotels, Southwest Airlines, and another which I had many years ago which was just "Chase Mastercard."

Well, another card that was "cobranded" through PayPal that I never used much was purchased by WaMu, then subsequently by Chase.

As I paid off credit cards each one with a zero balance was closed by Chase. Despite having deposit accounts with Chase, my credit cards are being closed as each reaches "zero balance." Those which have balances, Chase is reducing the credit limit to within $100 of the current balance.

Putting the squeeze on my Chase accounts has caused my overall "debt to available credit" ratio to become alarmingly high and other institutions subsequently took notice. Following Chase's lead, CitiBank, American Express, Bank of America, and others that previously had been increasing my lines of credit and lowering my APR's have recently jacked up the APR percentage to over 15% variable and reduced available credit down to within $100 of the balance.

Only my Credit Union has not put the squeeze on my like this, but I fear it's only a matter of time.

The snowballing reduction in available credit along with all the closed "zero balance" accounts has reduced my credit score by as much as 40 POINTS! While I was in an "excellent" score category, finding myself below 700 has hurt my ability to refinance my home and purchase a car.

While making significantly more money than just a few years ago, I am feeling a pinch as Chase and the others that followed decided that my unblemished payment history and long-term customer status was worthless. They have stripped me of previously existing credit safety nets and in doing so have destroyed my perfect credit by making me appear on paper to have charged myself to my credit limits!

All this while offering a mere 1.25% interst on CD's and savings accounts.

I have made a lot of phone calls to banks lately, gotten lots of "sorry." Now I feel powerless against the banks. Good thing we gave them all those Billions in bail out money.

JPMorgan Chase incompetence

Like so many others on here, was scammed out of a $750 application fee by our current lender, chase, who have now sat on our refi for five months. They are both incompetent and, I believe, illegally scamming people to apply for refi's that that have no intention of ever processing.

I have in hand my september 09 appraisal from chase's appraiser valuing our place at $1, 395, 000. I am trying to refi the only loan on it, which is currently $285, 000. I have credit in 790 range and one other monthly payment - 4 months left on an $800 a month tractor payment. No late payments, nothing. Large income, clean irs, all the same stuff that is supposed to make something like this a breeze. A monkey with a typewriter should be able to take care of this.

They don't answer the phone, they lose documents, they suddenly need new documents after insisting they have everything they need for months, they have confused a note we receive for a note they think we pay (You would expect mortgage professionals to understand the difference between income and expense, no?) they insist on having information sent to them in urgent emails with no contact information...in general, chase is the clown college of lending.

The only good thing is I am just trying to refi, not some poor soul trying to keep their house and suffering this runaround. I have also filed complaints with the federal reserve and the california department of corporations. This is totally unacceptable for a large corporation to handle their business this way. I hope chase goes up in flames, and their lying and deceptive employees with them.

Lets talk facts, banks borrower money if you have a 6% the bank borrowed it for 4%, if you are refinancing to a 4%, they got the money for 2%.

If your rate goes past your lock date the bank has to pay a percentage of your loan to the government agencies to keep the rate, not you…..no profit to drag things out it lowers the money they make.

Fyi for every loan that the company does not complete it cost $1250 for the company...use some common sense. IF YOU TRULY FEEL TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF PULL OUT YOUR PAPERWORK, CALL AND FIND OUT WHO YOUR LOAN OFFICERS MANAGER AND WHO THEIR BOSS IS. If you truly deserve all of the money back you will get it, if you don’t, there is a good reason no matter how much you disagree.

$400 goes to an appraiser.

you get $350 back.

$350 goes to a title company (regardless if you close)

then there is the overhead of the staff, phones, buildings lights etc

The goverment is constantly changing guidelines. Tell them to stay out of the banks business...no bailouts for the banks that ran themselves into the ground making bad loans to people that wouldn’t pay (chase did not use a dime of bailout money, they bailed out the 2nd (wamu) and 4th (bear sterns) largest bank failures). And stayed profitable every quarter every month during this crisis because we refuse to do bad loans for people who will not pay, don’t get mad. Buy stock. Bet all of you complained about gas prices while I invested in exon.

JPMorgan Chase payment

I pay most of my bills online, which also includes my automobile payment. I logged on, on the 1 of nov. To see if my payment was scheduleed already and see no payments posting (Not due til 22 of nov). There were none. Then proceeeded to schedule payment and got a red flag message stating there was a payment scheduled to post and gave me the options to make payment or cancel... Long story short... The 2nd cancelled payment still posted and threw my account into overdraft, I then contacted chase and they agreed to refund the payment but not the overdraft fees and because I didnt have a chase checking account I would have to wait for a check to be cut and sent to me... Thankfully my bank showed some sympethy and reversed 1/2 the overdraft fees, but said id have to get chase to refund the rest... Upon calling chase to see how to get them to pay overdrafts the representative tells me they only see 1 payment, I then get transfered to another dept where they say they show no payments since july 2009, then transfered to another dept and finally they say that the refund was issued and should have in 7 days... Day 8 I call back and inquire about where the refund is and am told that I should have it by the 19th of nov 2009... Today is nov 24 2009 and still no refund... I contact chase once again and get transfered to the collections dept.. Employee lovvell, I ask for a payment defferment and he asks me why I need it (I know that I am entitled to 1 within the life of my loan). I tell him im still waiting for the check and he then investigates and tells me there is no check cut and im 2 days late on my payment and that I need to make a payment. I of course tell him im not making the payment til I find out where my $ is (415.95) , and continue on to tell him about the bank overdrafts and and all other conversations with other reps. He then tells me I dont qualify for a defferement and still need to make a payment. I then tell him hes not understanding whhat im telling him and I then ask him for his name and employee #, then ask to speak to a supervisor after 20 minutes on hold he then tells me there is no supervisor and I will have to call back the next day, then says I need to make a payment, then I tell him I dont understand why I cant get the defferement he then says "i have explained it to you, have a good day" and hangs up. I have never received such rude customer service. I call again to file a complaint against lovell and to get to a supervisor, and again am getting the run around about which dept I need to be transfered to, again I am transfered to collections and the rep is insistant that I make a payment, I then tell her that im not calling about a payment and need to speak to a supervisor, I then spend 24 more minutes telling her why im not making the payment and she finally get a supervisor... Supervisor jamie (Cinncinatti office) is just as rude as lovell and says he'll look into it... Thanks for all the help jamie.. If anyone is filing a class action for anything similar please post a link

JPMorgan Chase onerous late fee; abusive, arrogant treatment

I have had a chase visa account for several years; I routinely pay off the balance in full.in august, 2009 I misplace the statement and, inadvertently, did not make a payment; the balance due was $70.15.

The next month's statement had a late fee of $39, which is 55.59% of the balance due. I paid the statement in full, including the onerous late fee and the $3.45 finance charge.

Then I sent a request for chase to consider if 55.59% late fee seemed reasonable. I got a canned reply that basically said you didn't pay the bill and we charge that late fee. But they also warned me that I would incur additional finance charges on any activity between the last closing date and the next closing date; this is an additional $4.75 finance charge.

I'm sure the bank can cite existing legislation that all of this is within their rights.

I am now drafting a letter to my senators and representatives, providing this example of banks abusive policies and supporting their efforts to change the bank laws in favor of the customers.

JPMorgan Chase chase cd ripoff

My cd term ended on november 3rd.
I didn't get any notice. On november 15th I went to roll it over to my money market.
I was told that it has passed 7 days and according to fdic rules it will be automatically rolled over for another term, which is 12 months. Nice I thought...
I asked the rate it was rolled at 0.2% I was told if I encash the cd I will be asked to pay the fine. Both are according to fdic. I didn't see the "fine" part in fdic book or site.
Then I had to encash the cd as I was buying house. I had 55k in the cd. They charged me $1.65k. I was shocked. I pleaded with the manager who told me if your partner had died we will waiver the fee!
Ironically, I saw a senior lady opening a cd and the bank officer was giving a spill about if she puts 10k she will get a better deal of 1.65% instead of 1.01%
I'm planning to lodge a complaint I don't know how and where. Please be careful with chase. Its not the same as wamu!
You can reach me at [protected]@yahoo.com to confirm!
