Cell C Galaxy watch 5

Just finding out why can't the galaxy watch 5 be a add on to my upgrade samsung S21 fe? When I upgraded today I told the service consultant that I would like to add on the watch but because the S21 fe says in the advertisement "INCLUDES" samsung A8 tablet unfortunately it can not be a add on unless I take out the tablet! Which means the A8 tablet is not a deal with the S21 fe? Far from what I acknowledge the watch you paying monthly for so which means we are paying for the tablet that comes with the S21 fe otherwise why would it be told you have to chose between the two? Please cell c advertise all of this so we know that we won't be disappointed when doing a upgrade or contract deal with you guys.

Cell C Violation of privacy

Good day

To whom it may concern.

I'm a very concerned consumer my right and privacy as a consumer was and is still being violated by an employee called by the name Wendil Arens currently working at the Randburg branch under Merchants

Wendil is telling people around my area how much is in my bank account and that I'm blacklisted and in a argument I heard it from him.Of which I didn't even know that I'm blacklisted. He does this at work where he only enters a consumer's phone number and all details will appear on his screen, Who gives Wendil the right to go through my personal details when he's at work. Wendil onced mentioned that he earns way more than his cousin and that his cousin is driving a GTI but he's earning peanuts. He also went through his cousin's account and all his personal details appeared and right after that he put in his cousin's girlfriends number of which the same thing happened, now Wendil goes around telling people that he's earning more than everyone in his area cause he can see everyone's salaries just by a click of a button.

I didn't know how is the company going to compensate me for the pain and suffering I am experiencing.

Do you know how painful it is when people you don't even know, knows your credit history and your finance situation. There is no word that can describe my pain and embarrassment I am experiencing. My daughter came home and told me people are laughing at her and said that her mother is blacklisted, cause they heard it from Wendil and now I had to explain to my daughter what "blacklist" means, how embarassing is that.I really don't know what was Wendils intentions by going thru my credit history or anyone else for that matter, cause I can only think of fraud and sharing my details with people outside the company

I am surprised that the company never picked this up, cause it's just not me.

Wendil is fighting every weekend in the community, I am very disappointed that his strange behaviour was not picked up at work. Wendil have alot of GBH assault cases that he's still attending court for and Is currently out on bail. And he was arrested again on the 21/07/2023

Cell C Cell c contract cancellation

on the 29th April 2022 i called Cell c to ask for the outstanding amount that i owe as i need to cancel a contract and go for Telkom . i was given the balance of R1447.28 which was send to me also via SMS (unfortunately i lost the phone) the lady that assisted me told me to send the POP and call to cancel

i send the POP underneath i wrote "Please cancel the contract ".on the 27/05/2022 i send an email explaining that i cannot get hold of them can they cancel my contract

Few months after my account was debited and i reversed twice .

since then i've been bothered by Shapiro Shaik defries attorney calling and sending arrangements letter

what makes me even more upset is i am in a process of applying for a house and was told i owe Cell C money am handed over

i got so angry and posted on Twitter

today i received a call but the consultant was so not profesional as she asked me which number and when did i make a call for cancellation .

Desired outcome: i need my name to be cleaned , i need to open a case against Cell C

Good day

Please note I am writing this email with a heavy heart about the upgrade that I was offered for a cell contract on account no [protected]

My contract on the above acc for a cell c I was paying R199 it was supposed to end on September 2023 so I was offered an upgrade which I didn't want on the 1st place but because I was convinced on several occasions when I tried to cancel my contract by Cell C sales consultant. I ended up taking the upgrade, but now apparently instead of owing the R199 for my monthly installment. I now owe cell R753. 58 of which I don't get cause an upgrade it's a contuation of the contract so how I owe Cell c from paying R199 to R753.58 doesn't make sense. I phone several times and even went to a cell c branch in Golden walk Germiston they are unable to assist me cause they also not sure how did this happen. I wanted to cancel this contract because I do not afford. Please assist me with resolving this matter as I can not afford to pay R753 for the mess that was made by the Cell C consultant.

Good day,

Please remove the red flag under my name,I don’t understand why my name was red flag and this is affecting my credit score I did not do any fraud CellC gave the criminals two cellphone without verifying any documents or do the security check and I would also ask to have the copy of the out come of the investigation because now is my name that is red flag after have the contract for morethan 25 years with CellC and this is what I get.

Cell C Router - Locked into a router contract I did not sign up for...

In 2015 I took out a phone contract with cell c - the service is good and everything is wonderful. In 2019, I went in for a month to month data contract for home use, mainly for my daughter's school work. In 2022, I extended my dstv subscription to include fibre because we wanted to enjoy netflix. Then I went to cell c to cancel the month to month router. They refused telling me that the month to month was changed to a 2-year contract... By who, because I never requested for it and never signed and documents to that effect. They said to call customer service, cs were unhelpful and directed me back to the branch. All this while i'm no longer using the router because we have fibre, and cell c continued to debit my account for this router. I started reversing the debit orders every month because they are not helping me, they just refuse to cancel the router. This router was given out in 2019 it was falling apart, it has selloptape all over. Now if it was a contract, would they not have changed it in 2021? This is so frustrating, this account is now affecting my credit rating and cell c now refuses to upgrade the phone contract which was due in may 2023. Please assist especially for my credit rating. It's taken a lot to clean up my finances... I don't need this stress from cell c

Cell C Paid up letter/ system update on credit bureaus.

On the 5th of July I made a payment of R 15011 till this day I've emailed [protected]@cell.co.za, and other various emails they provided. I received a call from other consultant with a promise that my paid up letter will be provided within 48hrs. Marks two weeks without it. Every Time I call them I'm always been told that my account is being investigated and they will get back to me after it's provided. Surely their 48hrs request is just a scam because they lack honesty. So how long will I ever have to wait. I need my paid up letter & system update on the credit bureaus because it kept affecting my credit score. I have provided everything needed including proof of payment to those departments.

Cell C 200gig day +200gig night for 6 months @ R1699

Cell C reference No: [protected]

I made an online data purchase of 200gig for R1699 for 6 months, on Sunday 9 July 2023 & the purchase was for an incorrect number.

On the same day, I went into Cell C century city store for assistance in having the data transferred to the correct number. I was informed by Val-Marie and colleague to provide both numbers and the data transfer will be done the next day Monday 10 July 2023. I called the century city store to confirm if the data transfer has been done, on Monday and they informed me that they were unable to do the transfer and I have to call the contact center on 084135 for further assistance.

I’ve been corresponding with the customer care and requested that the data be transferred to the correct Cell C number or a full refund be processed into the same bank account which the purchase was made. I even wanted to provide the manager with the card details, which the purchase was made but he advised that the cell phone numbers is sufficient.

Low & behold today, I got a call back from the manager from customer service department, who then Requested a bank statement & I told him that’s none of he’s business and provided him with the invoice which I received from Cell C for the data purchase. ( please see below attached)

The manager promised me that the data transfer Will be done today after I repeatedly told him: if the data transfer cannot be done then I want a full refund of R1699 today.

Please see correspondence received from Cell C which led to me reaching out for further assistance in this regard.

It’s 4 days later of over promise and zero delivery. It’s the request of irrelevant information Eg. Bank statements, it’s the blatant lies from Cell C and now the inconvenience and extra costs, being without the data needed for the router +sim which was purchased 2 months ago.

Cell C Paid up letter

In 2020 i cancelled my cellc contact and paid a cancellation fee. A year later they then tell me I have a balance owing.

On the 30 June 2023 i made a settlement payment of R760 to shapiro shaik collectors and asked for the account to be closed and requested a paid up letter, they told me after 21 working days from payment date.

After 21 working days I did request again for my paid up letter the collector told me they waiting for the paid up letter from cellc, I then called cellc and they told me the collector supposed to send the paid up letter but the collevrorsaid cellc has to send it to them

I sent many emails and made many calls to both cellc and the collector however I haven't received any paid up letter!

Desired outcome: I request for my paid up letter immediately and for the account to be closed

Cell C Cell c services

I called the call centre over 10 times this week.

Their system is obviously incorrect when you only say your name and I'd number and bank and it fails you. The uneducated workers that don't think passed procedure will not amount to much in life. I have a business and haven't been helped with my SIM swap nor do they return calls as 2 managers calls I am waiting for. The history is all saved on my number. 4 contacts with cellc and u treated like crap

Cell C Upgrades on Mobile phones

About three weeks ago I received a call from CellC - where they offered me an upgrade on two mobile phones linked to my account. We went through the entire process and was promised that we will receive upgrades in 3 - 7 working days.

This is now three weeks later and when I contacted them today - they adviced that they do not have any iphones in stock or at the warehouse and they have not been receiving any stock for weeks. They can also not give me an indication on when this will be resolved ?

I am already paying for the upgrades as at the end of last month - but I have not and do not know when we will receive product. Nobody at Cellc can assist me and they are just saying they do not know ? Can someone from CellC please urgently get back to me and advise. We have been CellC customers for more than 20 years ?

Desired outcome: I need an urgent answer and indication when I will be receiving these upgrades - as I am already paying for them .

Cell C Account query on outstanding balance

I have been trying to solve my outstanding balance with Cell C for almost 5 years now with no success.

They handed me over to Nibble and they are also no help at all.

They are claiming that I owe the full contract amount which is not true I know I have to pay 4-5 months I missed I tried to resolve it but no one is interested in helping me this is effecting my credit score and I don't know what to do anymore.

Can someone please assist me either at Nibble or Cell C so I can get his sorted and have my credit clear.

Desired outcome: I would like to get the correct outstanding balance and anyone to respond and just help me to solve the issue.

Cell C Pay as you go

9 Jully 2023 we bought the 6 months data bundle from the cell c app with airtime which was on the Sim card. They took the R550 rand but did not supply the 50GB day data and the 50GB night data.

This is the second time this has happened and they can't even give you your data or the money back. Every time we phone there is another story given as to what the problem is.

They took the money but no data this is thieves.

Desired outcome: I want my data of 50GB daytime and 50GB night time.

Bad bad bad bad incompetent call centre staff and manager.

Bought data on the 9 jully 2023

took airtime for data bundles bought and not supplying the data. R550. 00 for the 6 month data 50gb day and 50gb night.

The manager and staff firstly doesn't want to listen to you they know better. They know the issue before fully explained

this is thievery.

Cell C Sold my account that was paid off to attorneys that are backlisting me

This account was long settled with Cell C. I do not owe them anything.
Please see attached proof of payment. Cell C please stop demanding money from me and selling your accounts on my name to attorneys demanding money from me!

I will be taking this to twitter.!
This contract was stopped after an agent told me that because I never called to cancel the contract even after it had ended I owe cell c. I told her ok no problem, I made payment and I asked her to cancel/stop the contract!
This has been going on for almost 3 years now!
I am not getting any joy in resolving this because all cell c agents keep saying they will get back to me but they never do!

Desired outcome: I want a paid up letter and compensation of affecting my credit profile! I cannot buy a house or a car because of this

Cell C Cell C contract cancellation [protected]

I had a Cell C contract which I cancelled with difficulty first time was the end of February 2023 for contract ending March 2023, but they refused and said my contract ends end of May 2023. After many calls and eventually going to a branch end of April 2023 I was helped and there was a reference number logged on your system, so my cell number was migrated to prepaid at the end of May 2023 they deduct yet again a payment of R909.00 I declined the debit order but on my phone I received a sms telling me I am now on EASYCHAT t with data and airtime I did not sign or said yes telephonically to any further contracts, I cancelled my contract because I am on pension and can no longer afford this contract which they forced me to have for another two months before I could cancel. I ported my number to MTN prepaid. But they handed me over to debt collecting HP Attorneys two weeks after my debit order was sent back now they hassle me and they sent me a statement with the R909.00 plus a penalty fee for declining the debit order, I received two phone calls. I now receive a SMS threatening of handing me over. Please help me to settle this matter.

Cell C Contract changes and cancellations

Firstly I originally signed up for a month to month contract as I was about to emigrate and knew I would have to end the contract before a 2 year period has passed. When I then went to cancel the contract I was told that the terms has changed and it is now a 24 month contract and I have to pay a cancellation penalty. I did not sign or approve any changes to my contract. I left it at that and kept paying the instalments until the contract expired. I have since tried numerous times with calls and emails to cancel the contract. Yet Cell still invoices me every month and debit the money out my account. I have been living abroad for over a year now, but still paying +-R400 every month for a service I can't use and this wasn't a contract with a cellphone include. It was a sim only contract.

Cell C The unprofessional service from the network and it's employees.

I've been experiencing challenges logging on the internet due to poor connection. I logged a call on the 18th of June 2023 as the matter was getting worse. I spoke to quite a few agents from your call center and they seemed to be clueless and not trained as to how to handle such matters as I was being transferred from one agent to another, at one point one of the agents even hung up on me cause she was clueless in ways of handling the matter. I purchase daily data bundles and have been forfeiting my bundles due to the network challenges.

On the 28th of June 2023 I spoke to another agent in regards to the matter and asked if he can communicate with me via email due to the fact some calls aren't coming through cause of the challenges I've been experiencing with regards to the network and he said unfortunately he can only give me a call.

On the 3rd of July 2023, I spoke to another agent to query about the issue as it has not been resolved to date and she logged a call with the ref#[protected].

On the 4th of July at around 19:57pm, I called the service provider again, for an update concerning the issue as my network was still not working and getting worse. I spoke to a woman by the name Aphiwe, whom was not helpful and very unprofessional. I ask the recording of the conversation that took place between her and I to be replayed, in order for the service provider to understand the disrespect in her tone and the manner in which she handled the matter.

This has been a very disheartening issue as it's caused me the loss of my money and frustration.

Cell C Getmore cell c

I have tried time and time again to get Cell C to stop billing me for Getmore. All I get from your consultants is that I must sort it out with Getmore although Cell C is the one that I have a contract with and Cell C is the company that debits my account every month. When I speak to the Getmore

I have been in contact with Getmore regarding this and since June this year I have been told that its done and will reflect on the next invoice but next month the Getmore billing is still there. The Getmore subscription in question was cancelled in September 2022. Confirmation of cancellation over the phone was done at the end October 2022. It is July 2023 and It is still showing up on my bill and still no refund.

This is really frustrating as Cell C agents tell me that they cant sort it out and Getmore agents tell me that Cell C should process a refund and stop the subscription. If I do not get a confirmation email that this is sorted out then I will be left with no choice but to stop all Cell C debit orders and payments until they sort this out. Its been 8 months now that I have been billed for a service I'm not using and Cell C does not want to take responsibility for their billings, and neither does Getmore. They keep bouncing me around. I have a reference number that i have been following up and that does not help.

Cell C Poor customer service

Been waiting for a clearance letter for 2 weeks now for fraudulent accounts I never opened with Cell C which have now been handed over to credit bureau. I even sent affidavit that they wanted still no response from Cell C. I have been sent from pillar to post, called the call center numerous times, sent numerous emails with no luck. This matter has negatively affected my credit profile and I'm in the process of home loan application which has been on hold now for 2 weeks waiting for this clearance letter.

Cell C Non compliance to cancel cell c wi fi contract: account number [protected]

My WiFi Cell contract near its expiring date. As indicated by Cell C policy, if you do not want to renew it, it must be cancelled one month before the expiring date.

I phone exactly one month before the expiring date on 11 April 2023, indicating that I will not renew my contract.

The agent said everything is in order, the contract will not be renewed and the last payment will be in the next one. So on 29 April 2023, the normal installment of R 157,84 was deducted.

To my surprise on 1 June 2023 an amount of R 274,71 was deducted. I immediately phone Cell C again, and the agent inform me, that the contract was not cancelled. Due to this unexceptionable situation, I wrote an e-mail to the following Cell C e-mail addresses: [protected]@cellc.co.za,[protected]@cellc.co.za,

[protected]@cellc.co.za asking them for feedback. No reply. The agent then said that the contract is now cancelled with the last day on 30/06/2023.

I immediately disconnect the WiFi router where the Cell C sim card is inserted.

As for the fact that I receive no written response from Cell C I went to the bank and reverse the payment from Cell C.

On 1 July 2023, a payment of R 613.71 was deducted, while my Cell C router was disconnected for the whole month. If Cell C cancel the contract as instructed by me on 11 April 2023, none of this would have happened.

The agent of Cell C was clearly careless.

Desired outcome: I want a refund of R 613.71 as Cell C fail to cancel the contract when instructed.

It is clear that this matter is not going to be resolved by Cell C. They want to resolve it by apologizing. Telephone conversations went nowhere. The only way the matter is going to be revolved is by paying back the the unauthorized deductions by Cell C, after my contract was cancelled. For that, they just want to apologize. So you can steal someones money, and just apologize afterwords. Then everything is fine.

If you read the overview of this board in respect with Cell C the following is mentioned. " However, some customers have reported billing errors and unauthorized deductions from their accounts, leading to frustration and inconvenience"

This is exactly what happened to me. So I wrote this as a warning to all the customers of Cell C. Make sure that you account is been cancelled, by making follow up calls. I think if you add up all the money that is unauthorized deducted after contracts are cancelled, one will be surprised how much money is involved?

The matter is not resolved. The person contacted me try to explain that my Cell C account is in order. She indicated that she is only working with the accounts, and that the cancellation of the contract has nothing to do with her.

The crux of the problem is about the non-cancellation of the Cell C contract when Cell C was instructed to do so by me. That transpired into two months extra out of contract subscription fees which I have to pay for. Cell C is blatantly stealing money from me by not adhering to my cancellation instructions. So can I be contacted by someone who is working with the cancellation of contracts and not by someone who claim that she only work with the accounts and that the cancellation of contracts have nothing to do with her.
