Slow connection even with 1 mbps speed

I have a BSNL connection which has the speed of 1 MBPS. Even though it is 1 MBPS, the internet connection is too slow....

not showing usage on broadband

I have broadband connection with landline phone.My phone no. is 044-26840439. My problem is that iam unable to see my usage account on the net. So many times i have registered complain with custmer care (varindawan) 044-26841000 & on1500(complain no.7750) But did not get responce till date...
