I did sent money to Canada. 6 days past. Money still not deposited to the Canadian bank.
Routing and bank account numbers are correct. They just keep on telling Canada take longer time.. They did not explain that while making the transaction. I am here in the US.. There is no excuse if they are good company.. Don't ever use Xoom.com if I were you guys.. If you are in a hurry don't ever ever use them....

BEWARE of xoom.com. There's a huge racket monitoring xoom.xom and ready to steal your money.
One fine Sunday evening, I started getting several emails from xoom.com. Its been more than 6 months I have used it, so was surprised. Then I saw an email 'Transaction is Successful'. Upon checking further details, figured out that 4 transactions of $2.5 each was made from my account! One of them was successful and rest got cancelled. Most horrible part is recipient name! It was on my name only and was sent at a bank and country I have never been. On calling xoom, their customer service...

I sent money thru Xoom.com on March 6, until now, 4 days into the transaction, it hasn't arrived to it's recipient yet. I spoke w/ 2 different customer service agents & both gave me the usual customary answer: there partners in the Philippines are experiencing a technical problem, And it has been 4 days!!! Whatever technical problem is that that can't be fixed? I used xoom.com bec it is supposedly a faster service, but now, I am switching services. Poor customer service! Money sent hasn't arrived to its destination in the Philippines. I will continue to spread amongst my friends...

Xoom.com - Money not credited to recipient account

I transferred money from XOOM.COM on 1 july 2013 and today is 7th day but money not credited to recipient account. I transferred earlier with xoom and received the money in 1-3 days. I contacted customer care of xoom and they are asking for recipient bank statement. When I provided bank statement they said it is delayed due to holiday. Later I reached customer care and they gave me reference number to check with recipient bank. Recipient bank confirmed that no money send to us. I send email to xoom and waiting for resolution. Xoom.com - Washington - Disabled My account

The company disabled my account and wont provide any means online to re-activate it. Callling the CSR, which got routed a 3rd world country, asked for personal information which I dont care to share with people from 3rd world country.
The CSR did not even offer to help with account reactivation and was borderline rude. I wont do business with them again....

I just tried to use xoom.com to send money and they wont let me send money! They said that they cant authenticate my account without a copy of my ID and credit card sent directly to them! WTF? I am so pissed because it really is me!!! Its authorized! I will never use them, and will tell all of my friends not to!...

I have been sending money using Xoom.com starting this year. I've been pretty impressed with how fast it works. I've received $55 for the Manny Pacquiao fight when I did my first transfer. I have already sent money to the Philippines for almost 20 times afterwards. I've even referred it a friend. I've received a $25e-gift card from Walmart.

My problem occur when my Dad was trying to send using his original Xoom.com account. He wasn't able to to log in because he forgot his password. He then click the forgot password but can't proceed with how to change...

Not the best customer service and please note they don't allow commercial transaction which is BS. No one contacted us informing the money transfer is on hold unless if you call them. They asked bunch of questions like how you related to the recipient and reason you send money. This is not the first bad experience with them thought I give them a second chance but still UNHAPPY and went to different company which is more reliable especially if it is urgent....

A while back I was using xoom.com, but one day they closed my account stating they felt my reasons for wiring money were in violation of their terms. I was bewildered not knowing what I had done wrong and xoom.com would not say. All I did was send MY money, not xoom.com's, to friends and family and in small amounts of less than $200. Apparently xoom.com feels they have the right to regulate or pass moral judgement on how I send MY money! What the f..? What kind of weird business are they? A friend and I have been using Xoom for him to send money to me... it's been a week, and we've had two prior transaction dne perfectly and on time.

But this third one, is killing me... Xoom's whole system is at a shut-down. But before that they still allowed my friend to send the money. Yes. Xoom takes about 30minutes to confirm and make a transaction available for pick-up... but then... it's been 24 hours. since the website has been down the whole day.

If they scheduled a shut-down then they should've not allowed my friend to transact... and...

XOOM.COM is a joke! Having been a customer with them since 2005, they decided to close my account. With no explanation, per their service agreement, they can do that without notice or explanation. I have transferred $2500 on 28th March and got a transaction no : X061890561120238, status is showing find deposited in Indian a/c. when i checked my account and saw amount is not credited in my a/c. when i contacted the customer service they told me it is problem with your Indian bank a/c. later on i got email from XOOM . Every time when i call them they are giving some reason, and i have issued a cheque to someone in India. It is almost 6-7 days. money is not deposited in my a/c and now they have given me other date 4th April. Pls. Help me.
