On 2/2/2011 I purchased a renewal subscription to Popular Woodworking on www.DiscountMags.com as a gift. I had used this website once before for myself for a new subscription, and had no worries. I used a PayPal account to pay, feeling this is safer than giving a website that's somewhat new to me my CC number. The company informs you in both your order confirmation and the FAQ section of their site that the company standard is to allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. And, in this case, it was a renewal - so I knew it would be even longer, expecting it to simply re-up the subscription when the current one ended.
Months later, we realize - we're getting letters from Popular Woodworking that the subscription will end soon if we don't renew. So, I contacted Popular Woodworking to check if it sends that no matter what or if I have an issue. They have *0* record of any orders through DiscountMags.
I then contacted DiscountMags. Once I finally received a response, they claim it's all on Popular Woodworking - that Popular Woodworkng told them they had an issue & would be fulfilling it shortly. My immediate response was that I already contacted Popular Woodworking myself and that's false. I then got a response that there was some sort of issue and, again, would get back to me.
DiscountMags then ($18). I responded that all I want is for the subscription to be sent; otherwise, I'd like a refund.
At this point, I have not received any response (it's been 8 days).

This place is a SCAM. Please beware. They have a pattern seen in the reviews online. They take your money and don’t deliver but rather provide endless excuses. Call your credit card company ASAP when this happens to you, contact the publisher, and email Google Ads or anywhere else you see their ads. They try to drown out the authentic reviews, too. Absolutely watch out!

I ordered mine November 15, 2017 and was to be delivered Jan-2017/2/7/2017 it’s March 6, 2018 and I’m still waiting. I’ve called multiple times no response. This is ridiculous. I will not recommend DiscountMags to any family, Friends, nor business.

I've had a similar issue with discountmags, I ordered a subscription last August and now it's January and I still don't have the magazine. I contact them and they respond but nothing happens. They claim it's my fault because I've moved and it takes 6 weeks to update a change of address. That's absurd and it's been over six months. Every time I email them they say it's on the way

I ordered Flying Magazine from the discount mags.com on 8/29/2017 and today is 12/16/2917, that is a long time, and I have not received the first copy of the magazine I ordered. This is ridiculous! I began to think this is some type of scam in spite of several positive reviews of this website. I do not know if the reviews are fake, just like of online businesses putting out fake reviews to lure customers. I hope that is not the case with discount mags.com, but still I am very angry for this outrageous delay.

I've been ordering from discountmags for years for myself and gifts for my family and have never had an issue. Customer service is prompt and friendly. I highly recommend them
