I have typically been shopping here for 10 years, but rethinking things as I went to my coupon account with Winco and they now want my cell # in order for the coupon download. I don't believe it was like that previously. I contacted the company a few times via their website/email, I have gotten a response indicating they are looking into it and that is it. I tried opening a new account, entered a land line, indicated I would skip the mobile phone entry, and then it mandates a cell phone for a code to be entered online. Really? Mandating a cell phone number for coupons? Why do they want that? Many people are not going to do that and many dont have cell phones and some don't text... so instead of sending a code to your email address which is your log in, they want your cell phone...

One negative I have found in the store is that one better check the dates for things like yougurt and other perishables. Sometimes the date is past or very close to the date of purchase - and I can't eat a quart of yogurt in a few days...

I go once a month. Spend about $200. Very happy with selection and prices around our area are unbeatable. Love winco.

I am always happy to visit Winco's bulk foods section! Such variety. Employees always happy to help and great competivie prices for most all items.

They have great products and prices for your budget. I love the self check out, and they have money orders for cheap. It's a very nice place to shop.

This is the best grocery store I have been to. Quality foods at a fraction of the price any other store that sales the sake product offers.
What is also great about this grocery store is that you can buy products from cereal, to variety of nuts, to flour, and even chocolate, by weight. You just fill up how much you want in a bag and write in the number provided for they product.
Also, by the press of a button, you can make your own peanut butter from actual peanuts right there- buy it by weight, old that is how you prefer.
This place beats all stores in better selection, better quality, and better prices, for sure.
Organic veggies in produce are available as well.

I had a fall from almost 2 stories approximately 2 years ago and since because of shattering my leg-ankle have had to rely on a motorized cart to get around store. The carts at Winco are the worst out of any store I have shopped in in the east valley in Az.-Fry’s, Walmart, Safeway, etc. We don’t shop these store because we love everything about Winco but week after week for almost 2 years now I have had to deal with carts that show “ fully charged” yet they die a few isles later then you have to get out and walk to get another. Carts that don’t move, so you have to rock to get it started. I’m 52 and can manage when cart fails but for the seniors that this happens to I feel horrible for them.

This happened June 17This place is horrible. They literally discriminated me for paying with my EBT.I have prove to prove it too.one of the employees put hands on me I also have prove of that.they threw all my Groceries in cart neither the manager or cooperative wanted to help me also have prove all of them are covering the batch names for a reason .they’re unprofessional.they also called me Mexican that what got me mad .no wonder people quit working here they are a mess the manger was even worst he came up to me a he was eating I don’t know what but he’s breath stinks

including watermelon. for about $9.32

decide to return it before leaving store

since usually when i buy this type of groceries at winco its no good has to be thrown out. not paying 10 bucks for watermelon to throw in trash.

old lady at return desk processed the return but forgot to give me any money back .

i said hello.. where is the refund

she replied you talk too much i lost my concentration.

i said.. ok.. just give my my [censored]ing money back..

she said what do you say?

you are not allowed to shop here again

she screamed as i was walking out don't ever shop here again

i gave her a middle finger

Friday night, 6-9-2023, 11:00 pm. Every night, this store only has one checker. At WinCo, most people have a full cart, if not two. So, the people with one or three items, like frozen food or ice cream, end up with melted ice cream. What's the deal with this store? It's like a California traffic jam. They want to sell you cheap food but don't want you to leave. I've had enough. Can't they afford a second cashier? We already box our own food, and that's one reason why the lines are always long. I've asked, and I'm told that the manager wants it this way.

A customer was accused of shoplifting they found illegal drugs on him when they went through his pockets after they released him I ask him if they gave u back your drugs he said no they kepted it and didn't even call the police. They are not police I spoke to him just 2 weeks ago and he said nothing hasn't happened. So basically the security guard kepted his drugs. The guy told me that the loss prevention guard said. We won't call the police and we keep the drugs if you want the drugs back we will call the police. Seems to me that's theft on there part and that shows that they kepted it for themselves can they do that?

I been buying Fried Chicken here for over 10 years. I was a bit dissatisfied with today's service.

Today 4/29/23 10:42 am store #0055; operator 109067,trx#234, I went to buy chicken and waited in line. I was advise of him adding 2 pieces of bake one due not not enough fried. Chicken looked a bit dry. When I went to counter I asked for a discount since I was doubting freshness of chicken. The cashier whom was very nice, called Manager and he didn't not even bother to come talk to me and explained or even look at the chicken. If he did I probably would have seen the chicken and determine to not buy. When I got home few pieces were fried remaining baked and burnt. Very disappointed. I never mind paying 18-24 dollars for this chicken because it is always the best that I have ever had. Which in todays case was the worst and customer service in chicken area very poor.

I used a gift card to purchase my items. I told her to attempt $30 on the gift card as I didn't know how much was remaining on it. It didn't go through. So I told her to try $20. It did indeed go through. So my cash balance was $33 which I paid using my bank debit card. I just checked my bank statement and I have a charge of $33 and $30 for the same transaction. Please refund my $30. Thank you

I went to open 2 cans of green beans time was 5:30pm opened both cans and when dumping them into a container to warm,the second one as it emptyed at the bottom of can this big black fell into container which I thought was a rat! Didn't know what it was,we never ate them packaged up container and sealed and dated. Package up both cans with lot numbers,and date.

We went to the bend Oregon store and there was a sign that says free turkey if you spend 125.00 dollars .All the turkeys were there so we picked out a twenty pounder then continued to shop .We bought almost two hundred dollars worth of food and Thanksgiving items ,went up to the cashier and low and behold it seems the offer was not good until the 14th. Well why would you put the Turkey's out there with a free Turkey 14 days before the offer ? We didn't see the date stating valid on the 14 our fault but even that being said we would not have bought that amount of food if we had. I wonder how many other people bought a ton of food because of this premature offer. I know we were not alone because we saw a employee taking the very same turkeys back to the Turkey bin from the checkout . Not cool WinCo maybe these kind of premature offers shouldn't be put on the floor until a few days before offer not 14 days. Happy Thanksgiving Winco...

Why wife and I disabled manand pregnant wife were threatened with bodily harm bt this Clark guy trying to accuse us of stealing we did no such thing we had multiple ring ups needed we did our food first then we had some toiletrys to ring up hm they dumped our winco bring in bag out like we were not ringing it up after we told them we needed to separate the order this guy said he was going to drop one of us so fast in his words. I have mental and physical disabilities and my wife is pregnant to be treated this was is apauling and he needs to be reprimanded or fired for his actions threatening a pregnant women bodily harm hes a sick individual and if nothing is done about this man we will be filling a civil dispute and we will be pressuring charges with the OIGs office and the attorney general as soon as possible. Its the weekend or I would have filled a suit already. This man is a menace and needs to be behind bars where he belongs!

around 3:00 a.m. I bought a propane tank 16 oz and it died shortly after attaching it to my grill and started using it. return to the store and customer service told me essentially they didn't believe me and that they can't do anything about it. and as I was taking to the manager about it him and the fellow employees were treating it like a joke or if I was lieng. I felt very disrespected and insulted.

Hello, Im messaging in regards to a current employee you have at your winco food store located in chico. ca. she goes by the name of Ashley holmes. This woman has been harassing me as a customer several times about weed. I have witnessed her inquiring exchanging pot (joints) on the clock from fellow employees. She's admitted to stealing from the facility as well. I will be in contact with cooperate in regards to thus drug dealing inside/outside of the premises. Ashley holmes has now began verbally harassing and assaulting myself, family members and acquaintances. She's slandering my name and has now taken it to the point where She and her friend dulce jarrod are texting my 10 year old child's phone. my 10 year old child received a incriminating threatening message on his phone from Ashley and her friend dulce yesterday (10/19/22) I don't appreciate the fact that you guys have an employee there that is verbally assaulting me and slandering my name including my fanily and young child. This is a prime example as to why this woman was terminated immediately from her last job at dollar tree in oroville after she physically attacked a man who she assumed was stealing without proof while on the clock scaring not just employees but the young children in the store at the time. Its a shame that you guys would allow such drug activity on your premises and inside of your facility along with such an erratic, hostile, combative, individual who's far from a professional employee.

On September 24th at the Winco located at 2101 NE Andresen Rd, Vancouver, WA 98661, I brought my own bag into this store to do some shopping. When I was almost finished, the assistant manager, Steve, accused me, with no evidence, of shoplifting. I asked him to name a store policy that I had broken, as Winco has no rules online nor were any posted in the store against customers using their own bags. He refused to do so, described himself as the all-powerful authority of the store, and bragged about having engaged in this same activity five times a day. At times he appeared to have a visible erection.

He also improperly and illegally called 911, despite the situation clearly not being an emergency by any reasonable standard. It is possible that he was just lying about this, as I suspect he was lying about the cameras in the store since even if they did exist they would prove my story, not his. I find it incredible that Winco suborns this kind of behavior, as Steve claimed.

It was 08/02/22 at 12:45am and I was going to checkout, I had with me my dog ( that I have had in the store before) well the other lady had her dog also. He dog seen mine and started to dark and gravel at my dog and my dog started to growl back I told him no stop and he did . By then a cashier told us to drop our stuff and the dogs have to go so I asked him if I could go through and pay for my stuff, he told me no just drop it and leave . Saying I don't think that your dog is a service dog, us he a service dog, never asked her just me. Yes mine is . My aunt's friend got him to be a service dog for her grand kid but wasn't able to keep him do to he would stay in the yard, he is a Beigel and German shepherd mix. So yes I was mad and called him a d&&& head, he had security to come out and tell me that ask me if he's service again and tell me no he's not service that the cashier says no he's not service and that he says I'm not welcome to come in the store for their service anymore I think it's fair because my dog is service her dog wasn't because I can tell because why would a dog's lunch I'm very upset I don't think it's fair I would like something done before I get all my lawyer and do something about it and he loses his whatever and yeah I'm very very upset I spend way too much money in that freaking company please email me back to see if I can do thank you Sodona Dintleman, Medford Oregon
