Sprint Prepaid phone

I purchased a prepaid phone from a Kroger grocery store years ago for my son only to be surprised by a charge to activate it. Although he accepted the usage, it was his only way to have a phone. I should have taken it back and sought a more reliable source like ‘Walmart’ where I don’t shop. Now I am receiving mail from a collection agency.

Sprint has to be the worst and most unscrupulous company in existence. Years ago they said my handicapped child had the right to change my phone plan because she was over 18. I pay the phone bill, not her

Sprint Cost of phone that was returned

Worse experience/customer service ever

On November 14, 2022 i filed a claim because my son broke his phone. I'm with T-Mobile and pay for Assurant insurance. After receiving the replacement phone, I was not sent a return kit/label for the broken phone. I emailed and called the company about the label but still didn't receive one. After February/March 2023 T-Mobile has been trying to charge me for this phone. On March 18 I went to a T-Mobile store and tried to return the phone. They wouldn't accept it. Told me to call T-Mobile and request a return label. I did, however in the meantime a T-Mobile rep tried several times to contact Assurant and got disconnected every time. On March 25 I finally got the return label from T-Mobile. I sent it right out UPS and Assurant is still giving me the run around. My phone is currently off although I've been a customer with them over 11 years because of a broken phone charge that I have been trying to get rid of. Please Help! I'm A single mom and my son(12) and I rely on our phones. I can't even pay my normal bill because the phone price takes my balance above my bill still. I was told once the device was found the charge would be immediately removed from my bill.

Now after finding the phone (because T-Mobile/Sprint didn't send it back to Assurant like they were suppose to with the return label) no one will take the charge off my account. It was returned to A warehouse on April 5, 2023. Both/All companies are trying to tell me 1-2 billing cycle and the account will be removed. With the amount still showing even though T-Mobile/Sprint/Assurant have all verified the device was found a week after it was received its still showing on my account and i can't just pay my phone bill to get it turned back on. As A "values customer" of 11 years I am irate! This is the worse experience EVER. I will never recommend any of these companies to anyone.

I just want my phone service back. I will pay the bill. I just won't pay a penny for a phone I've been trying to send back for about 5 months that they now have!

Desired outcome: Immediate removal of $637 device I sent back.

Sprint Samsung flip 3 5g trade-in promotion for an iphone 13 pro.

After being a loyal customer to Sprint since 2015 on 06/29/2022 I, called sprint customer service concerning the warranty of my Samsung FLIP3 5G phone holding serial no. [protected]) because the screen appeared peeling off. During the conversation with Sprint customer service, I was offered a trade-in promotion of an IPHONE 13Pro SIL 256 SGL - all I had to do was pay $72.87 in taxes for offered $1,000.00 promotion for on my Samsung FLIP3 5G phone in additional I had to send sprint my FLIP3 5G phone to them, via a box that I would be receiving in the mail. I said OK it's a deal (or words of that effect) See. Attach A, for taxes paid on the amount of $72.87 dated: 06/29/2022 And See Attach B, my ownership receipt of the Samsung FLIP3 5G phone. To this effect there should not be any financial billings towards the IPHONE 13Pro SIL 256 SGL.

Needless to say, soon thereafter an amount of $45.84 appear on my monthly bill for an equipment described as the IPHONE 13 Pro 256. See Attah C. I, then immediately contacted Sprint customer service who then told me the reason for the $45.84 appearing on the July 2022 bill is because they have not received the Samsung FLIP3 5G phone yet, that once the warehouse acknowledges receipt of the Samsung FLIP3 5G phone the charge of $45.84 should come off. I argued the Samsung FLIP3 5G being sent and I was credited an adjustment on the $45.84. See Attach D

The charge of $45.84 continued as a monthly charge till present (January 2023); at times, when calling, I would receive a manual adjustment of $45.84 and as of most recent I was told that my file has been removed to T-Mobile and, T-Mobile now tells me that I never qualified for the promotion and that the $45.84 monthly charge is applicable. (Sprint and T-Mobile acknowledge the Samsung FLIPP 3 5G phone holding serial no.:[protected] has been received by the warehouse months ago).

In this instant case, I was offered a trade-in promotion on 06/29/2022 which I accepted, I paid the tax fee suggested and charged by Sprint on 06/29/2022; sent my Samsung FLIP3 5G phone as a trade-in, all as part of the promotion.

Desired outcome: I'm requesting that the trade-in promotion offered on 06/29/2022 as described above, be granted. And to further calculated the payments in the amount of $45.84 that have been paid in excess and reimbursed, in its entirety.

Sprint Service/phone

I have been with Sprint since 2005 and this company has gone down terrible bad. every time I call sprint it is a problem of lies, people just tell you anything, do not know their job correctly as of today I am ready to leave with sprint just unprofessional. my recent issues are I order a phone on the 3rd was told by a rep that it was in stock and will arrive overnight no later than the next day. I get an no email and looked up myself and it states January to February that is unacceptable I need a phone just like you guys' sprint going to want my money. How can you take my money $58.40 tell me you have a phone then it's a problem once again on yall but it fails on the customer. i do not understand how yall company just take from people tell them anything and it's supposed to be okay.

Sprint Billing/equipment

Been with Sprint for over 10 years and this week alone have been by far the worst experience EVER! I got 2 phones lines with them and been paying over 200 dollars a month on the bill. I didn’t think anything of it as I was leasing the 2 iphones well that upgrade started in Dec 2019. So I been paying on 2 phones for almost 3 years that I JUST found out that I don’t own and are not unlocked! Supposedly I was suppose to contact Sprint and “let them know I wanted to buy my phones after 18 months” which I wasn’t aware of. I mean who wants to pay on phones that they will never own, so that gesture is just ridiculous to me. Anyways I’ve called customer service for 3-4 days straight trying to explain my situation and figure how can I own my phones since technically I’ve overpaid on these phones. Well all I got was impatient and rude agents that kept explaining the “contract” which I’ve made them aware that I clearly understood what the so call contract states but was NOT clearly made aware that I needed to do anything extra on my end initially when purchasing the phones. I was hung up on several times and when I did get a supervisor with sense they told me something totally different from what the previous person did. That supervisor gave me a credit that went towards my bill, then the next day it was taken away from me because the credit supposedly should have went to the payment of the phones according to the new supervisor that’s handling the case which I don’t understand because the phones should have been paid off after 3 years. Now this is leaving me with my original balance ok fine but now I’m told the phones are “paid off” but they will not unlock my phones until the balance is paid in full! I feel like I’m being bullied and forced to stay with SPRINT when at this point I want to be done! These phones were listed at 699.99 originally, I’ve been paying additional 26.40/mo from Dec 2019- June 2021 then it went up to 29.17/mo thereafter and ongoing which apparently went to nothing just an additional and unnecessary fee, that’s 941.92 for each phone.

Desired outcome: I will like own both phones and for them to be unlocked and credited back the additional fees I’ve paid.

Sprint iPhone 13

I have been a customer of Sprint for over twenty years. I purchased a new iphone13 in April of 2022. I had received an offer that if I purchased an upgraded iphone through Sprint (as I was going to leave Spint and use Verizon due to some customer service issues over the last few months with Sprint) I would receive the new phone free of charge as long as I submitted my old phone to Sprint within 60 days per, Oscar a representative of Sprint. I submitted my old phone to Sprint within 5 days of receiving my new phone and had a conversation with Diane, another Sprint representative, who assured me I would not be charged for any equipment, but it would take two billing cycles to get this documented through their billing department, but I would receive a full refund on my third bill for the overcharges of equipment for the first two months. As of the end of October I am still being overcharged for equipment I returned in April 7 months after the fact and EVERY MONTH I spend anywhere from 45 minutes to almost two hours dealing with this issue with Sprint's customer service teams who every month assure me this matter will be taken care of for me and then the next month I get overcharged again on my bill. I am either going to have corporate resolve this issue for me now or I will take my business elsewhere! Please respond with what Sprint is willing to do for me ASAP.

Sprint Iphone 13

I have an Iphone 13 black 128 gb that will not charge. Per sprint tehy had me go to apple who could not fix it then they sent me back to sprint as they did not have another iphone 13 and I do not want to upgrade at this time. Sprint said back on 10/18 they would replace my phone 8 days later they are refusing to honor that I have that in writing furthermore because of your constant disregard for honoring your promises we will be pulling our account with you after 25 years of loyal patronage. please see below

Sprint my cell phone bill/[protected]

i turned my cell phone in with sprint because it sent me a text one day to put a PUK code in and from that point on it wasnt working back in July 2022 I went to the tmobile and turned in my non working sprint phone and signed up on my friends phone plan with a brand new phone number . Since then I am still receiving bills and have called Sprint 3 times to cancel this phone which has not been in use since July. My question is why am I still getting billed for a phone I do not have was turned into Tmobile. My sprint phone number was [protected] Cara Heuston please resolve this matter once and for all

There's been a discrepancy with my account concerning my lawful conditional form of payment. There was a Remittance coupon sent in to credit the account. It can also be referred to as a dividend. The payment was sent on Aug 29, 2022 for ALEXANDER AWONUSI, Account # [protected]. When I administrator called in to have this matter resolved no one had any first hand knowledge about this form of payment and refused to transfer me to some one who can knows how to process this form of payment. There was also a receipt sent with this transaction.

Sprint Sprint/t mobile

Yesterday 10/09/2022 my boyfriend went to our local Sprint store here in Coldwater Michigan. His name is Eric Langon, and spoke with a man at this store.

I have an account with T-MOBILE now previously switching from Sprint. My account with the name of Sherry Dexter and my boyfriend used to be on my account however I released him from my account but he had someone hack him and set up an account with his name & Ss#, so he cannot get on his own plan right now. So I am still paying his bill.

My complaint is Eric went to the store last night and spoke with a man a around 7:55 pm. Eric told him he wanted to see my Fb messenger account and read it. The man helped him get into my account! I am furious about this and would like to have something done about this. This is a violation of my privacy.

Sprint Inaccurate billing from Sprint

In 2021, Sprint charged me for a phone on my bill that was supposed to be taken off my bill due to my Fiancée passing away in a car wreck in November 2020. I paid several times to have the phone taken off of the bill. I even went out to the field where he wrecked to search for the phone. Finally, it was taken off January 2022. September 2021 added another phone to my plan, and it broke within the first 30 days. Exchanged it and they charged me for 3 phones up until January 2022 when I only had 2 phones on my plan, so I decided to not continue with the second line on the bill to only keep 1 phone on my plan. At the end of March, I called Sprint back since my bill still was not right. Charging me again for the phones and the bill was a different price which it always it. I talked to a supervisor, she ended up getting rude with me and hung the phone up. Called back and talked to another supervisor that said he did not like what was going on and saw that I have called several times and more than anyone should. He looked into my billing and got back to me in April 2022 that he fixed the billing, and I would not have to pay anything until August 2022. He offered me a FREE upgrade of a phone and said I only had to pay the taxes which was $65.25, and the amount was to be credited to my bill that he did not want me to pay a thing since I have overpaid for a long time and the supervisor hung up on me. Checked bill in July and it showed I owed $200, so I called. I have been fighting with Sprint since. Supervisor said she pulled the call up from April with the other Supervisor and said some things were fixed but not all and I was to get a returned call. Week later I'm calling and being talked rude too, so I ended my plan with Sprint. They sent me a final bill that was $300.97 then one a few days after that for $1090.04. I noticed PDFs of billing online were removed and I was charged for the FREE phone I was promised in April. They remove what was paid as well on the billing page. It's quite hard to go back to recent bills them doing this. Before canceling plan, I could only go back to September 2021 with bills and now it is October, and they added the PDFs back to the billing that weren't there before I cancelled my monthly plan.

Desired outcome: I would really like them to fix my bill and it be accurate every month. I want the promised free phone to be free. If at all possible, the $1090.04 to be discharged if I cannot have a plan with the company.

Sprint Sprint chat sales agent tactics

Just want to share my experience and frustration with sprint and their chat agents. ( that's where my problem for trusting them!) so last year sept 2021 got notices that i had to upgrade our 2 S7 phones and service due to sprint/T-mobile merger and that our phones and service will be discontinued by end of 2021...so went online and chat to inquire about upgrade 2 phones and service and chat agent offered this : With $500 off on trade-in, Galaxy S21 5G 256GB would cost you $14.58/mo. with 24 month financing, taxes and fee will be charged upfront with any due on the device based on your credit application. Will own the device once paid off...: I see with trade-in your current phones you have $500 off on upgrade to Galaxy S21 series...so ordered 2 s21 phones but they were on back order and when they came in i confirmed with another agent got this...You : just upgraded to s21 5g and have s7 to trade in

Sia : Yes, This offer is for S7 . Also as you have upgraded the device to S21 still you can merge your account and you will get huge offers for it and you will be getting best and cheaper plan for your 2 lines...activated 2 phones on 12/2/2021 and returned old s7 in..also upgraded 2 lines to essential 55 plan which is perfect...so here's my problem when got first bill surprise phone device owe was 35.42 with trade in credit of 8.34 which is still 27.08 per phone not 14.58 each!...so went online chat with a agent and said will correct it and gave me a credit with no explanation and should be fixed by next month...well had to go though this every month and finally after 9 months a agent told me why not getting proper credit says i was 14 days past? but can when phones were on back order and agent says dont matter thats how it works? and agent threatened to make me pay back all the credits they gave? so wrote 4 emails to sprint no responses so used a claim service they contacted sprint and finally a executive contacted me and said sprint not wrong my old phones did not qualify for full credit? anything i tried to say he just shut me down and offered only a full month credit and said last offer take it or leave attitude! so tired of fighting with sprint every month different answers all the time so done with sprint!

Desired outcome: Wish would honor original agreement or least explain whats going on instead dragging this out past 9 months...might have to just accept terms now and be done with sprint!

Sprint Collection Account Past Statute of Limitations By State Law

My name is Lance Alven My Complaint with Sprint

Ive received a notice from ERC reguarding a 12 year old cell phone bill $517.18 from Sprint Cell Phone company trying to collect a debit. That billl is already resolved, due to breach of contract my phone replacement was suppose to be new not refurbished and upon the Sprint tech. opening up that phone there was

smuges, finger prints, burn marks inside the phone.. & not to mention poor service. i was not happy, i spoke to a sprint rep and with that happen everything was resolved, I canceled my account ending 3164 and i was told i didnt owe anything. I have not use that account since then

Until 12 years later Erc sends a collection for sprint bill debit.

It took 1 week to get a sprint manger to try to tell me i still owe 517.18,

Itry to tell them i dont owe anything and it was already cleared & Past Statute of Limitations By Oregon State Law and FDCPA

Collection agents violate the FDCPA if they file a debt collection lawsuit against a consumer after the statute of limitation expired (Kimber v. Federal Financial Corp. 668 F.Supp. [protected]) and Basile v. Blatt, Hasenmiller, Liebsker & Moore LLC, 632 F. Supp. 2d 842, 845 (2009)).

According to ORS §12.080 Statute of Limitations is 6 - 10 years.

Sprint Horrible sales dept

I literally just got off the phone with sprint about my Note 20 ultra so forgive any errors in grammar.After spending over 2hrs on the phone with sprint/T mobile I'm disappointed,disgusted at the deceptive sales promotion. I was told 55 dollars a month for 2 phones with my new upgrade & no paying the tax on the new phone, then the call dropped,no one called me back. When I call back I'm waiting 25 minutes after getting a new sales rep the deal changes,they want $96 dollars for the tax which is UNDERSTANDABLE but not part of our ORIGINAL agreement, after 45 minutes I'm extremely pissed & yes I was very upset brought to a point of cursing about sprint not the sales rep. I'm already 2.5 hrs invested in this,why so long you may ask,because I actually thought they would keep their word. When the sales rep heard me throw my stapler on the ground he was like sir don't be upset I'll take $50 dollars off for your to credit the difficulty of this transaction. Now I'm upset because THEY had the ability to do this over an hr ago, why now?! Then here's the kicker after offering me to take $50 bucks off the guy wants to sell me phone protection for $18 dollars a month lmao WTH ! Make your own decision that's my sprint T mobile experience 🖕💩

Sprint Promotions

earlier this year I was offered upgraded phones from Sprint/TMobile - I was to send back our old devices to receive monthly bill credits for each new phone. We sent back our old phones is great working condition thankfully kept the tracking info as a few months later we noticed we received credit for all phones but 1. I called Sprint and they said they have not record of receiving it despite the UPS Tracking showing it was received at their facility and signed for. They provided me credit on that bill after I provided them proof of signature at their facility. I have to call into Sprint on a monthly basis now to have them provide me a credit as they are not properly correcting the issue despite them advising each month that they will take care of it.

Each month I hear from the rep on either their chat or live agent that this will be the month it's finally resolved! Promises of it being escalated and they will have a supervisor, or the proper department call me back. IT NEVER HAPPENS and I still have to re explain the story over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over... I WILL NEVER fall for a promo scam with this company again. When my contract is up I will go elsewhere after being a customer for many, many years..

Sprint Bill

I was lied to about my bill amount when upgrading my phone. I spend literally hours calling being transferred around getting credits and being told the issue will correct itself the next billing cycle but it never does. It’s like a culture of lying and fraud. One representative told me she documented the error and I stopped calling. Noticed bill amount incorrect, got frustrated and stopped calling. Called again given curtesy credit because they can read I call regularly but still it’s like I’m the issue when the issue is I was lied to to get a new phone. I was told upgrade when my bill will decrease but my bill did not decrease.

Desired outcome: My upgrade was to lower my bill to $135 I would like them to honor what I was told by the store sales representative.

Sprint Sprint

I called sprint at the end of February and was supposed to have my service stopped. A couple months later i get a bill from a collection Agency and figured it was what i owed them for the phone and last bill, i immediately paid the bill. Another month goes by and i get another email saying my bill is ready and i start freaking out i called sprint and talk to a couple more agents and everything was suppose to finally be good. The lady told me i should not have anything to worry about. My contract with sprint was done and didn’t pose them anything. They continue to bill me and I haven’t used the phone since beginning of march. I have talked to numerous agents telling me all is good. I wrote to the sprint main office about this issue and i just got another email saying my bill is ready. I have never had a company do something like this and i am really really upset now. If i had the money I would get an attorney to help me. They say this conversation may be recorded but it isn’t if it was i wouldn’t be writing to you now.

Desired outcome: Stop billing me. I don’t even have that phone number since i cancelled service.

Sprint Customer service and misinformation

On Monday 9/5/2022, I was looking to upgrade my a phone on my account (Samsung A51 5G). On the website once I logged into my account, I saw an offer for $400 off iPhone 13 with an eligible trade in. Now when I tried to process the upgrade for an iPhone 13 Pro Max it shows that the offer for $400 off is there, but no discounts are applied.

I called customer service and the representative told me that I was eligible for the $400 credit with my A51 5G. It sounded too good to be true so I called back to double check before I processed the order. This representative said that I was eligible for the offer but would only would get $200 off the for trading in my A51 5G. This rep then transferred me to a "sales" rep who then I am not eligible for anything at all and then said I would just get a regular upgrade with no discount even if I traded in my current phone. She stated it was because that I already had a 5G phone when no mention of that stipulation was in the add online. When I asked if she thought was ok for a 12 year customer to get no incentive or discount she said it was correct. I then ended the phone call.

Desired outcome: Give me the offer that was listed on the website.

Sprint Customer service

I leased two new Apple iPhones in March of 2022. I traded in two Apple iPhones. I am currently being credited monthly for only one of the phones. The only credit that I have received for the second phone is $15.00.

I have made numerous calls to customer service and paid several visits to the store that I traded the phones. I have now been on the phone with Sprint customer service for two hours. No satisfaction yet. Just lousy music.

Desired outcome: Credit for the second phone I traded in.

Sprint Phone bill

In 2019 I upgraded my cell phone services with Sprint. My bill went from $150.00 per month to $300.00 per month. I was never able to find out why until a few months ago. I called to inquire why my sons name was on the bill and not my name, and to upgrade my phone. I learned then that I was being charged for 4 lines. I was on the phone with a Supervisor who was very helpful and honest. She shared that she was able to see the 4 lines but can confirm that the were neve active, but I was being billed for them for about 3 years. I was promised a credit of 2 months and an immediate change in my monthly bill.

I am a single mother, who works hard to take care of my son. Sprint / T-moilbe owes me nearly $6,000.00. I feel that it is only fair that I receive monies that were taken from me through no fault of my own. It appears that the sales person when I went into the store to upgrade my services, in 2019 suspended my account, created one under my sons name as a business account adding 4 lines, all of which I was not aware. I have paid Sprint / T-Mobile every month, not missing a month for over 3 years for phones and services I did not use or authorized.

Can someone please assist me in getting my money back?
