I can't begin to say how horrible my experience with this company was...I purchased a refrigerator for $1, 065 that retails new from Amazon for $1, 400. It arrived at my house with 5 dents and tape gunk on the handles that we're not described in the listing. My tenants made the mistake of accepting it instead of turning it away, but the condition was clearly unacceptable...and on top of that, the delivery personnel was late and missed 2 appointment windows...

When I called to have the item returned, the manager Tony employee #40634 was by far the rudest customer service...

Five weeks ago I purchased a Sole E35 elliptical machine from the searsoutlet.com website. I made this purchase based on three factors: price, location and condition. The elliptical was shown at a good price and in my area – only a short drive away. The condition of Reconditioned(New) was the most influential factor in my purchase decision. On September 3, I travelled for over an hour to purchase a tractor at the Cupey, Puerto Rico store. No one helped us to clarify doubts. When we finally decide to purchase the tractor the store's communication or online service was unavailable, we waited for a couple of hours to see if the system would return, without any luck. After 4 hours waiting at the store, they decided to reserve the item until Monday, September 5, since this was a holiday weekend (Labor Day). Because I maintain a household with 3 adult renters, my need for appliances becomes critical because failures affect 4 individuals at once. Getting a 3rd renter necessitated a small refrigerator purchase, then the washer went out. I attempted to buy the frigerator online from the Sears Outlet website but my order was hampered when the online purchase was canceled. After receiving no order confirmations (via email) after 10 or 15 mins, I started to panic. I checked my bank and verified a funds hold, for the purchase amount, was indeed in place. Later (while searching for a washer) I got a phone call...

in purchasing a new oven for my home, Sears denied the acceptance of my debit card being used as a credit purchase. I then gave them my credit card and it would "not accept card type". I was forced to use my debit card as a debit purchase and use my private pin number in public which I did not feel comfortable doing....

I'M WRITING TO LET SEARS CORPORATION THAT IN THIS PARTICULAR STORE IS BEING USE AN ABUSIVE CONDUCT TOWARDS THE EMPLOYEES FROM A PARTICULAR SUPERVISOR. I THINK THAT BEEN ONE OF THE BIGGEST CORPORATION IN THE UNITED STATES THIS SHOULD BE SOLVED AS SOON AS POSIBLE. This past Sunday, April 18, 2010, I visited your store for the first time. Sears Outlet was recommended to me as a good source of slightly damaged appliances that I could purchase for reasonable prices. Sure enough, I found a refrigerator which I photographed with my iPhone and arranged to have delivered today, between 4:15 and 6:00 PM.

We brought a 3, 000 double oven from the Sears Outlet, Sears came and installed it. The oven doesn't work and we call the customer warranty line and no one can help, they have hung up on us several times, we have been on the phone for several hours no help. We paid 300.00 for Sears to install the oven plus delivery fees and haul away cost. Now we have no oven and no one to help us get our money back...

I purchased a "reconditioned" side by side after being reassured that it had been inspected and certified as 100% working. I was trying to decide between a new refrigerator and this one, the sales person assured me that it was no risk to purchase the reconditioned one because if anything went wrong, I would have a Food Reimbursement Guarantee. The unit was delivered on a Wednesday and NEVER worked. Sears finally sent a repairman out on Friday and he said the unit's system was restricted and had been tapped.
