Mean girls club????
The most uninviting, judgmental, extremely rude group of snotty teenage girls were working around 4 pm on February 22nd 2024. I felt like I walked into a scene from the movie MEAN GIRLS as I observed random shoppers just enjoying themselves as they should be able to do while shopping. NOT ONE EMPLOYEE smiled, although I did witness them point and roll their eyes as they even laughed out loud at shoppers who happened to also be teen girls I’m guessing around the same age bracket. Clearly, politeness or any type of positive customer service skills is not a requirement to work at Ross. I honestly will not be coming back. What is wrong with the management to allow this to go on .. get it together Ross! Check your cameras once in a while and make some changes with your disappointing extra arrogant staff, all of their poor attitudes were uncalled for and extremely petty. ITS VERY DISCOURAGING TO WITNESS THE LACK OF COMMON COURTESY THAT IS TOLERATED HERE

During the annual clearance last year during the 2nd, 9th, and 16 at approximately 9:30 a.m. I saw how during their shift, employees were scanning clearance items and putting them into shopping carts for personal use. Sometimes the employees gave these items to their friends/relatives. On the 23rd they let some people way earlier than others and let them shop first.

I once enjoyed shopping at Ross Dress For Less but my feelings have since changed because of their employees and management with TERRIBLE ATTITUDES and VERY POOR customer service. They are ghetto and extremely rude and always act as if they don’t want to be there or behave as if the customers are bothering them. If they do tonite down the same path of disrespecting their customers and OUR HARD EARNED MONEY, they will start to see a huge decline in sales/profits and will eventually go out of business. I shopped for the 1st time at the new Ross Store located in the Mid-State Mall - Route 18-East Brunswick NJ.. Charged me for 4 extra items scanning stuff multiple times over. Was extremely rude to me. Stopped her in the middle noticing it. She returned 1 item mid transaction. Then accused me of stealing with security footage roll back in which security noted the wrongful transactions. When i asked for manager… I was told she was it. A nice employee credited everything back and reran it crediting me back $16. Very upset and scared she is doing this to other people for profit.
