PODS Enterprises PODS Review: Poor Customer Service and Untrustworthy Actions

I had a pretty bad experience with PODS. I had to move cross country and decided to use their services. The total charge was over $5,000, which is a lot of money, but I thought it was worth it for the convenience. However, things didn't go as smoothly as I hoped.

PODS left their pod out for longer than needed, which resulted in a $350 charge. I contested the charge because I didn't think it was fair. But instead of resolving the issue, PODS froze my account and sent the $350 to a collection agency. I was shocked and frustrated. I had no choice but to pay the $350 to avoid any further damage to my credit score.

To make matters worse, it took several phone calls to remove the freeze from my account. Each call lasted up to an hour, which was a huge waste of my time. I had to explain the situation over and over again, and it seemed like no one knew what was going on. It was a frustrating experience, to say the least.

I think PODS should have handled the situation better. They should have resolved the issue with me directly instead of sending it to collections. It was only $350, which is a small amount compared to the total charge. It was not trustworthy behavior.

Overall, I would not recommend PODS to anyone. Their customer service was lacking, and their actions were not trustworthy. If you're looking for a moving company, I suggest looking elsewhere.

PODS Enterprises PODS Moving Company Review: Incompetent and Disappointing Service

I recently used PODS to move from Ohio to Colorado and I have to say, I am extremely disappointed with their service. After being in Colorado for three weeks, I called to arrange for delivery of my container only to be told that it was still in Ohio. Can you believe it? I had already made the arrangements and paid the money, but apparently, it was my responsibility to call them and let them know I wanted the container moved. What kind of nonsense is that? I'm not a mind reader, I assumed that once I paid for the service, they would take care of the rest. But no, apparently I needed to drive the truck for them too.

Now, because of their incompetence and idiocy, I'm going to have to spend nearly an extra $1800 to stay at a hotel for two weeks until they can finally get my container to me. This is absolutely inexcusable. I trusted PODS to handle my move and they have completely let me down. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go with a different moving company.

PODS Enterprises PODS Review: Cautionary Tale of Delayed Delivery and Inflexibility

PODS is a company that claims to offer flexibility and convenience, which is exactly what I was looking for when I needed to move from NYC to Chicago. However, my experience with PODS was far from what I expected.

I filled a POD on May 26 in NYC, but to my dismay, the POD was still sitting in NYC on June 9. I was informed that there was no capacity for redelivery for another 4 weeks. This was a huge inconvenience for me, as I had already signed a lease in Chicago and was now forced to pay for temporary housing while waiting for an empty apartment.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from PODS. I had expected them to be more flexible and accommodating, especially given the inflexibility of NYC lease dates. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

After leaving a negative review, a customer service representative was able to find a cancellation date for me that was one week earlier. They also removed the $329 fee for "storing" the POD past the initial month, since it was their failed operations that caused the delay.

In summary, I would caution anyone considering using PODS to budget for delays and the cost of temporary housing. While the company may tout flexibility and convenience, my experience was anything but. It's important to be aware of the potential pitfalls when booking with PODS.

PODS Enterprises PODS Review: Misleading Information and Unethical Service

So, I recently had an experience with PODS and let me tell you, it was not a good one. I spoke with one of their customer service reps and they told me that the 16 foot pod could hold three rooms. I was like, "cool, that should be enough for my three bedroom home." But boy was I wrong. When they say three rooms, they mean tiny rooms. Not the kind of rooms you would find in a normal three bedroom home. I even told the rep how much stuff I had and they still led me to believe that it would fit. But it didn't. Not even close.

So, I called the day before our scheduled service to make sure our stuff would fit. The measurements just didn't seem big enough. I called at 7pm the night before and they hit me with a $200 handling fee because I called after 4pm. Like, what kind of nonsense is that? They hadn't even delivered or done anything yet. And to top it off, they were unwilling to refund my money. Talk about awful ethics and service.

If you're thinking about using PODS, I would definitely think twice. Don't let their customer service reps mislead you into thinking that you can fit more than you actually can. And be careful when you call because they might hit you with a ridiculous fee for no reason. Overall, I would not recommend PODS to anyone.

PODS Enterprises PODS: A Nightmare Experience with Incompetence and Negligence

This company is just terrible, I tell you what!

So, we hired PODS to bring us a pod so we could load it up and move it to our new place next month. We talked to a bunch of people at their local office and even the big bosses at corporate, and they all said it was no big deal to deliver on a gravel driveway.

But then the drivers showed up, and they were just plain rude and obnoxious. They looked like they'd been living under a bridge or something. And even though they saw the property and went down the gravel access road, they still refused to deliver on our driveway.

And then, get this, they just took off with our pod, fully loaded with all our stuff, and wouldn't bring it back to our rental house where they picked it up. Nope, they took it all the way to their facility over 40 miles away!

And to make matters worse, they wouldn't even let us get our stuff for three whole days. Can you believe that? We had to sit there twiddling our thumbs while they held our property hostage.

Their incompetence and gross negligence cost us over a thousand bucks in damages. And they never even bothered to respond to our calls, letters, or legal notices to try and fix things.

I had to take them to small claims court just to get them to pay up. And even then, it took them weeks to settle and pay all the damages. What a bunch of clowns!

Seriously, folks, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this company. They're nothing but trouble.

PODS Enterprises PODS: Unreliable and Untrustworthy - A Disappointing Experience

So, I heard that PODS is a great company to use for storage and moving needs. I decided to give them a try and called customer service to inquire about their largest container size, which they claimed was equivalent to a 10 x 15 storage unit. However, when the movers arrived, they said that the customer service representative was wrong and that I needed an additional container. Unfortunately, PODS did not have the 8 ft container available, so I had to settle for a 12 ft container, which was only $10/mo less. I felt like I was being ripped off and that the company had no integrity.

To make matters worse, the driver put the container in the wrong place, and I was charged for a container move even though the driver never came back to move it. I had to call and yell at them to get a credit back. And then, PODS forgot to pick up the second container, even though I made sure they knew to pick it up on the 19th. The person I was dealing with was obviously inadequate and forgot to make sure the second container was picked up. After two weeks, my neighbors complained that the container was still at my address, and I went ballistic. PODS had the nerve to schedule a pick-up for a week out, which was unacceptable.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with PODS and their lack of responsibility. I thought that franchises were supposed to be responsible for their actions, but apparently not with PODS. I would not recommend this company to anyone and suggest finding a more reliable and trustworthy storage and moving company.

PODS Enterprises PODS Review: A Costly and Unpleasant Experience with Poor Customer Service

PODS, or Portable On Demand Storage, is a company that provides storage and moving solutions for individuals and businesses. My experience with PODS was not a pleasant one, and I would not recommend their services to anyone.

My husband and I decided to use PODS when we were moving from one county to another in Southern California. We thought it would be a convenient way to transport our belongings without having to rent a truck and do all the heavy lifting ourselves. However, we soon realized that PODS was not worth the convenience.

We were forced to leave our POD in their storage facility for three months due to job transfers. During this time, we had to pay a monthly fee of $264.59. When we finally had a residence to live in, we requested that PODS drop off our container. They charged us $564 to drop off the container and pick it up, and then an additional $646 for transfer fees to the new county within Southern California. On top of that, they charged us $268 for incidentals that they never explained.

To make matters worse, PODS does not prorate their monthly fees. Even though they dropped off the POD on the 5th of the month and picked it up one day later, they still charged us for a full 30 days of rental fees. This meant that we had to pay an additional $264.59 for the entire month, even though we only used the POD for five days.

All in all, we ended up paying over $2500 for just four months of using PODS. This was a huge rip-off, and we felt like we had been taken advantage of. To make matters worse, their customer service was very rude and unhelpful. When we complained about the fees, they told us that if we didn't like it, they would keep our belongings.

In conclusion, I would not recommend using PODS. They are a rip-off and their customer service is terrible. If you are looking for a storage or moving solution, there are plenty of other companies out there that offer better services at a more reasonable price.

PODS Enterprises PODS Review: Subpar Delivery and Frustrating Customer Service Experience

I recently placed an order for a POD on May 9th, and I was excited to see that they had a 30% off deal going on. This wasn't my first time using PODS, so I was familiar with the process. The delivery date was set for May 30th, which was fine with me. However, a week before the delivery date, I decided to change it to June 3rd. I called the company, and they were able to accommodate my request without any issues or additional charges.

On the day of delivery, I received a notification that the POD would arrive between 2:30 and 5:30. The driver called me about 20 minutes before he arrived, which was helpful. However, when the POD arrived, I noticed that the door was halfway up. I asked the driver about it, but he just shrugged his shoulders and didn't seem to care. As the POD was being unloaded, I noticed that the weather stripping was coming off, which concerned me because I didn't want my belongings to get wet. When I went inside the POD, I noticed that the screws were loose and could be picked up with my fingernails. I pointed all of this out to the driver, but he didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I asked for another POD, but the driver and dispatcher cancelled my order instead.

I spent hours on the phone with the company for days, trying to resolve the issue. It was a frustrating experience that made me a nervous wreck. Instead of paying $415 for delivery to my driveway, I ended up paying $575. The cost of transportation was reduced from $1919 to $1834, but the storage fee went up from $315 to $408. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, this was a significant expense for me.

If you're a woman or a senior citizen, I would caution you to be careful when dealing with PODS. My experience was far from cut and dry, and I was left with a subpar POD that I didn't feel comfortable using. I hope that I get a better replacement, but I'm not holding my breath. I wish I could afford a better alternative, but unfortunately, this was my only option.

I've attached some pictures of the POD to show you what I'm talking about. If you see a collection agency letter dated 4-23, please note that I didn't order my POD until 5-9. The other picture with black lines doesn't belong to me, and I'm not sure why it's included. I've alerted Sitejabber about this issue, as I believe my review may have been hacked.

PODS Enterprises PODS Failed to Deliver: A Frustrating Experience with Moving Containers

I'm super mad about my experience with PODS. It was a big expense, but we had to do it because we were moving from one side of the country to Arkansas and staying with a relative while we looked for a house. When I talked to the rep on the phone, he was cool, but he didn't tell me that some towns might not be able to get PODS service. He just said that if we moved to an area not as close to Little Rock as we thought, we might have to use the Fayetteville or Jonesboro (or something) PODS facility instead. That was fine by me.

We got our pod dropped off and picked up just fine, but then we found a house about twenty minutes away from the address I gave the PODS rep in the beginning. So I called them up to get my pod delivered, and all of a sudden, they told me they don't service that area. I was so upset because the whole move has been really stressful, and this was totally unexpected. I never would have used this expensive company if I knew they wouldn't be able to deliver. They told me that I would have to drive all the way to Little Rock and unload my things there at my own expense, then load them into a truck, then unload them AGAIN back at the new house! That's crazy.

I asked to talk to a supervisor, but they said no. The rep said she talked to one on my behalf, but they still said no. I asked for someone higher up, but they just emailed the Little Rock PODS facility, and they still said no.

But get this: they will deliver to the original address, my relative's house. I got her okay to do that, so the POD will now be coming here. The crazy part is that her address is halfway up a long, winding mountain road in the middle of nowhere. The address I want it delivered to is right off the main highway, an extremely easy drop-off point.

And now I have to wait like three weeks for the pod to be delivered, which is totally ridiculous. And I still have to pay the same amount even though everything has been so messed up. I'm really mad, and I'm going to tell everyone I know about this. I'm also going to post this review on a bunch of websites.

PODS Enterprises Deceptive Business Practice: My Experience with PODS

PODS is a company that you should be wary of. There are a lot of negative reviews about them on the internet, and I wish I had done my research before I got ripped off. When I first called them, I wanted to learn more about their containers and see if it would be possible to move our already packed home by loading a container ourselves. I told the woman on the phone that we had a 2-bedroom house with a study that had only a desk and a chair. She told me that their largest container would be appropriate for our move. I explained that our stuff was already packed, and we had a 3-seater couch, a king and a single bed, and a couple of shelves about 2 to 3 feet wide. We don't have much furniture compared to the average American family because we move often and try to live as light as possible. We don't even own a TV set. So, I trusted the PODS woman and hired the container.

The container arrived on the date agreed, but I was shocked to see how small it was! I looked at the volume of our already boxed stuff and saw that it was impossible to fit it all inside. I'd need at least one more container, maybe 2. Within 30 minutes, I called PODS and requested that they retrieve their container. The 2 customer reps I spoke to that day did not care that I was in despair 2 weeks before we had to move. The first said I'd be refunded the monthly fee but that I had to pay for the delivery fee only. Ok, I agreed. However, my credit card was charged all fees, including an extra pick up fee. They came to retrieve the container the next day. Considering that the delivery and pick up fees amount to over 40% of one monthly fee, this is a complete rip off. I was misled into thinking that a container would fit a "4-room home," meaning "2 bedrooms, a living room and a dining room," to quote PODS. This is a straight lie. Considering we do not own what an average family would own in a 2-bedroom house, it is obvious to me that this is simply deceptive business practice. PODS profited from me only by charging delivery and pick up "fees." The last customer rep I spoke to, was extremely rude by raising his voice over the phone and by making obvious he did not care about the fact that I felt betrayed as a customer.

In addition, it is worth noting that PODS makes sure its customers are not able to put their complaints in writing. They have no email address or physical address for a customer or complaints department. I tried to find one everywhere in their website and even called their headquarters, but they say they have none. Quite convenient. A serious business ALWAYS has at least an email address for complaints. Before I saw how PODS is intent in deceiving its customers, I would have considered PODS for small moves, but now I will never go back to this business. The result of it is that we've had to hire a moving company at the last minute on top of paying PODS excessive fees.

PODS Enterprises PODS services

Good morning,

My name is Linda Walker, and I am a current PODS customer. I am very disappointed with all the misinformation that I received regarding storage fees and shipment of the container.

PODS withdrew 408.00 for storage on 11/26 and today the charge for shipment was withdrawn 3915.00. I was originally told that the first month of storage was free. This is not true. I was also told that I would receive the shipment within 7 days of payment which is also not true. I do not have access to the container until 12/15. This is extremely poor service and honestly if the withdrawal wouldn't have been taken out of my account, I was going to hire long distance movers to bring the items to Denver. I really needed my furniture prior to 12/15 but I am now at the mercy of this horrible service. I would ask someone please see if there is any way to expedite the shipment so that I can pick up the items within the next 7 days.

Thank you for your consideration.

Desired outcome: access to container prior to 12/15

PODS Enterprises PODS moving - nightmare

I ordered my POD to be delivered to my house in Orlando for June 16, 2023. It was delivered.

I was told that it could be picked up from the Orlando house and delivered to my new house in St. Petersburg or it could go to storage. It was all part of the cost. I said that was great because I was not sure exactly when I would be getting the keys to the new house.

In early July, I contacted PODS numerous times every day trying to schedule my POD to get picked up from my Orlando house to get dropped off in St. Petersburg. I called multiple times each day. I texted the number they provide. I would wait on hold. I'd talk to someone and get hung up on. I could not get anywhere. Eventually, I was able to schedule a pickup for my pod to be delivered to St. Petersburg.

However, instead of taking it to St. Petersburg, they brought my POD to Orlando storage.

I called MULTIPLE times and wrote MULTIPLE emails inquiring why that was happening. No one could answer me. The representatives just said it had to go to Orlando Storage. After another week of trying to contact PODS, they were finally able to schedule the container to St. Pete, but then again, they didn't do that. Instead - they sent it to storage here. I told them PLEASE drop it off at my new house. I don't have any of my things.

After many delays - it was finally scheduled multiple weeks late. BUT now that it is in my driveway, the PODS door is jammed shut. It won't open. The PODS representative tried to break it open with tools, which did not work. The PODS representative, then put the PODS onto the Podzilla and lifted (by machine) my POD up on a 90-degree angle and shook it back and forth because he thought something may have been stuck in the door. HE SHOULD MY POD UP IN THE AIR ON A 90 DEGREE ANGLE BACK AND FORTH VIOLENTLY and I can only imagine all my memories, belongings, and furniture just broken. inside.

THEN - he told me there is nothing more he can do. That I would have to call customer service, AGAIN, to schedule the POD to come pick up the POD at my house, bring it to the main center, then rip off the front door. BUT I will need to bring my own moving truck or uhaul to meet them at the warehouse, then unpack the POD into a uhaul and drive back to my own house.

That is insane. This is insane. I still don't have my belongings.

Desired outcome: Desired Outcome: reimbursed for payment; the POD opened at my property, reimbursement for damaged goods inside.

PODS Enterprises Lost pod and delivery to my home!

Hello,

My name is Deborah D'Domenicus and I moved the end of April from Maryland to South Carolina. Please note:

1) Originally I was going to have the pod picked up and stored because my furniture was going to be loaded onto a larger moving van.

2) However, THREE DAYS BEFORE PICK-UP AND TWO PHONE CALLS, I called to change the pick-up to a PICK-UP AND DELIVERY TO SC. The person on the overseas call center didn't speak good english and..

3) My FULL POD OF FURNITURE was picked up and stored on an empty lot. They lost my POD for 9 days and after finally finding the POD they scheduled it for delivery to Augusta, GA which took another 2 WEEKS! UNHEARD OF!

4) i HAVE CALLED 5 XS and talked to numerous people and they (CHOSE TO PULL THE FIRST PHONE CALL PLACED QUITE A WHILE AGO, AND NOT THE RECENT 2 PHONE CALLS CHANGING TO DELIVERY). they cancelled my complaint 2X's with NO CALL BACKS and they are covering their butts over in India! They chose the call that gets them off the hook, but not one of my recent calls requesting the POD to be PICK-UP AND DELIVERY. I am requesting the following: $1,81970 + 61.50 (?) + $279.95 = $1,961.15 refunded back to my card. I am a GOVT worker and went with POD because I thought you were a good American business. Your overseas Call Center may be good for YOUR business, but not for your customers. My name is Deborah D'Domenicus | [protected] | [protected]@verizon.net

Desired outcome: Refund of $1,96.15 mistake Overseas Call Ctr They did NOT use the 2 most recent calls to verify my case but chose an older call to cover their butts. 5 calls and 2 x's my case was closed with NO call backs from you

PODS Enterprises Poor Customer Service and Unpleasant Odor: My Experience with Pods.com

ago, my mom rented a pod from pods.com to store some of her belongings while she was moving. When she got the pod back, it smelled really bad - like urine and crap. She tried to get in touch with the company to see if they could do something about it, but she never got a response. It's been about three months now and she's still really upset about it.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend using pods.com. If you're looking for a storage solution, there are probably better options out there. The fact that my mom's pod came back smelling so bad and that she couldn't get any help from the company is really disappointing. It's not worth the risk of having your belongings damaged or ruined.

PODS Enterprises PODS Review: Impressive Customer Service, but Check the Seal!

o get my stuff out, it was all wet and ruined. I was so mad! But then I called PODS and they were super helpful. They sent someone out to check on the container and they found out that the seal was broken. They replaced the container for me and even helped me move my stuff into the new one. It was a hassle, but I was really impressed with how PODS handled the situation. The new container was clean and dry, and my stuff was safe. I would definitely use them again, but I would make sure to check the seal before I loaded anything in. Overall, I think PODS is a good option for moving and storage, but you have to be careful and make sure everything is sealed up tight.

PODS Enterprises PODS Review: Delays and Complications Caused Major Hassle and Worry

if you use PODS. I shipped out my stuff on 7/27 and was supposed to get it on 8/3. But then they said it would come on 8/4. Then they said it would come on 8/5. Then they said it would come on 8/6. And now, it's 8/22 and I still don't have my stuff. It's been a real hassle trying to get in touch with customer service and figure out what's going on. I'm starting to worry that my things might be lost or damaged. So, if you're thinking about using PODS, make sure you're prepared for the possibility of delays and complications. It might not be worth the risk.

PODS Enterprises PODS Review: Shady Business Practices and Double Charges

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with PODS. They ended up charging me twice for the same dang thing, and when I tried to get a refund, they straight up refused. I mean, come on now, that's just not right. I spent a good amount of time trying to get in touch with them - four phone calls, two text chats, and three emails - but it was all for nothing. They just wouldn't budge.

Honestly, it felt like they were engaging in some pretty shady business practices. I mean, charging someone twice for the same service and then refusing to give them their money back? That's just not cool. It's like they were trying to rip me off or something.

In the end, I had to take matters into my own hands and dispute the charges with my bank. It was a real pain in the butt, let me tell you. I had to fill out all sorts of paperwork and wait for what felt like forever to get my money back.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend PODS to anyone. They seem like they're up to no good, and I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through what I did. Stay away from these guys, folks.

PODS Enterprises Convenient and Reliable Storage with PODS: A Review

I gotta say, I had a pretty good experience with PODS. I was moving across the country and needed to store my stuff for a few months while I found a new place to live. I looked into a few different options, but PODS seemed like the best fit for me.

The process was pretty simple. I called them up and they helped me figure out what size container I needed based on how much stuff I had. They dropped off the container at my old place and I had a few days to pack it up. I was a little worried about fitting everything in there, but it ended up being just the right size.

Once I was done packing, they came and picked up the container and took it to their storage facility. I didn't have to worry about anything after that. When I was ready to have my stuff delivered to my new place, I just called them up and they dropped it off. Everything was in good condition and nothing was missing.

The only issue I had was with the billing. They charged me for an extra month of storage even though I had already had my stuff delivered. I had to call them up and get it sorted out, but it wasn't a huge deal.

Overall, I would definitely recommend PODS to anyone who needs to store their stuff for a while. It was a little pricey, but it was worth it for the convenience. Plus, I didn't have to worry about my stuff getting damaged or stolen. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

PODS Enterprises PODS Review: Moldy Furniture and Unhelpful Claims Team

So, I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty rough experience with PODS. I thought it would be a good idea to store my leather furniture in one of their pods, but boy was I wrong. When I finally got my pod back from the storage facility, I was shocked to find mold all over my precious leather furniture. I mean, come on, who wants moldy furniture? Not me, that's for sure.

I've been going back and forth with one of their claims people for what feels like forever, but it seems like they're not gonna do anything about it. They basically told me that when you store with PODS, you're taking a risk. Well, thanks for the heads up, guys. I wish I had known that before I trusted you with my furniture.

So, if you're thinking about storing your leather furniture with PODS, I'd say think again. I mean, I'm pretty much out of luck at this point, and I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I did. Save yourself the trouble and find another option. Trust me, it's not worth it.

PODS Enterprises Failure to Dispatch POD as requested

I requested our second POD to be delivered to our new home in Round Rock Texas by online Chat. They told me it would arrive on the 20th of this month. After checking online I found it had been scheduled to leave until the 17th and would have a 10 day transit! I took a week off of work and spent time at my new home waiting for the POD! When I called they said they had no record!

Desired outcome: Please respond. Expect some adjustment in pricing. Speed up the delivery. Insure this does not happen to others. Compensate me for the loss of my time and my wife's time in waiting for this delivery!
