Phoenix State University Blade Combat Course is an insulting scam

DO NOT SEND ANY KIND OF MONEY FOR ANY REASON TO PSU PHOENIX STATE UNIVESITY BY PAYPAL OR ANY OTHER MEANS.
I'm a law school graduate in my country and because of my line of work I study everything I can get a hold of regarding knife defense, knife combat, knife techniques, security and firearms. I came across the PHOENIX STATE UNIVERSITY web (http://www.bladecombat.com/home.html) page and bought a "Blade Combat Course". In their web page they argue their course is based on many civilizations studies and comparisons of blade use, autopsies, swat members interviews and so on. They even charge you for shipping, to make you believe they are going to send you something. What you get is an ill written, 61 page sketchy .pdf file via e-mail with vague statements wich I read in half and hour just to find out it's a piece of useless dirt. They charged US$87.00 for it! They even mention someone called "Sensei Halstead" as the author and "founder" of the "Lethalo Combat System".
Needless to say it is a scam that functions this way:
They offer various courses, including gunsmith, bodyguard, security, etc. They send you a .pdf file with an "introductory" course with a test at the end which is an essay you have to write about what you "learned". Then they are supposed to send you more files and so on. The only thing they do is waste time to prevent you from placing a complaint over PAYPAL.
Nevertheless I placed my complaint on Paypal on time against PHOENIX STATE UNIVERSITY and within seconds Paypal issued an automated response to my e-mail, statintg that by their conditions of use complaints only apply to the shipping of the goods and not the quality of quantity of them, so they cannot void the transaction or make a refund, and that their "investigation" was closed. What investigation? So they were of no help, what's more, in this way I think Paypal becomes an accomplice of the scam because it's a tool this fraudulent "seller" uses to bring confidence ot the public (me) on the transaction.
I'm sorry for me and the hundreds of ripped off people who buy something from PSU PHOENIX STATE UNIVERSITY. I don't know, but in my country you can't name "University" to any stablishment without government supervision.
DO NOT SEND ANY KIND OF MONEY FOR ANY REASON TO PSU PHOENIX STATE UNIVESITY BY PAYPAL OR ANY OTHER MEANS. Their e-mail is: [protected]@zpsu.com

I am with one of the States Attorneys offices, I have signed up for some of their courses just to follow the trail of money and to determine what they are and are not selling. Their claim of accreditation is obviously false as out of the hundreds of thousands of Chea listings, they are nowhere to be found. That is what made me pay attention and got them to spring for a few hundred bucks to follow the trail. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. It actually takes very little to remain legal but total failure to deliver is one thing that will get them. Keep posting your dealings with them and I will keep people posted on each step they follow, or do not follow.

I signed up for their "Journeyman Gunsmith" course, but like you said, got the run around in an attempt to keep my from filing a complaint with PayPal. It's a scam through and through, but I should've known better. How do you become a gunsmith, or in your case a better knife fighter, by taking online tests? The lack of hands on training should've been a giveaway, but... oh well. Oh, and I lost $208.

After over two months, ETI/PSU never provided any of the products I paid for: Executive Protection, Bodyguard, Firearms Instruction, Master Gunsmith, FFL Licensing, Shotgun Tactical Specialist, Vehicle Escape, Event Protection, Dignitary Protection. In actuality I don't believe they have any of these products. I paid over $400 for their Maxi Succe...
