Panera Bread Quantity is simply unacceptable

On Thursday April 4, 2024, I placed an order via Panera Breads website. The order consisted of 1 bowl Chicken noodle soup, 1 bowl of Cheddar broccoli soup and a "pick two" of Tuna sandwich (half) and Fuji apple salad. The total to go order was $32.90 (expensive considering the items).

The (half) tuna had hardly any tuna on it and the salad was probably half of what it should have been. To say I was disappointed is an understatement especially considering I do not live near a Panera Bread location any more so this was a "on the way home" order.

Trying to email PB with information and pictures is no easy feat therefore this is my attempt to get their attention.

Claimed loss: $32.90

Desired outcome: I would like an explanation and a refund.

Panera Bread Terrible website, terrible online customer service

The website is really terrible, difficult to find and select the items to order, the website goes through a buffering process at every stage of accessing the menu, placing orders, finalizing orders, etc. so it takes much longer than with other vendor websites, yesterday the website was down for hours so I couldn't cancel and order and when it finally came back up it didn't recognize my credentials, credentials I've used for years with Panera, so I still couldn't cancel the order or place a new order. Their IT department is really awful, but apparently their top management doesn't realize it. The food is good and the service at local Panera stores is good, but their online functions are really awful.

Panera Bread Cleaning environment

Hellomy family and I. we had been a good customers for the past 20 yrs. Yestesterday I stopped in the Allen Park, MI, location. And it was so dirty, small flies around the drink area. And the kichen where it shows to the public was so dirty too. Today I stopped over Dearborn Heights, MI, Lcation. It was nothing like you could described so dirty. Food on the floors and papers. My son tried to get drink. He seen some small insect in the drink. I did asked for the manager, she said she will take care of it. But, I spend more then 1 Hour. having a meal and chatting. And all the food still on the tables. And paper on the floor. I like Panera food and deserts, But, unfortunately lately with all the isuues we have between viruses and cleaning environment. I consider it failling of safety environment and health.

Panera Bread Fantastic Frederick

Frederick is the manager at Panera at UTC, on Cattlemen Road, in Sarasota.
Frederick is the quintessential hands on Manger who in my opinion is on eof the best leaders I have seen for a long time.
Panera is lucky to have him. Also, of course the food and drinks, the service is top notch.

Panera Bread Phenomenal Service

Mike, at the Ren Cen (Detroit) location is beyond Phenomenal. He is always prompt with deliveries, friendly and when asked a question, is extremely knowledgeable about Panera Bread. Our office loves working with Mike. He is personable, patient and strives to demonstrate stellar service as an employee of Panera Bread. We Love Mike!

Panera Bread Reminded how much I love Panera Bread

I am at Panera in Burlington, WA. Haven't been to Panera in a while. I did pick two; Mac and cheese and Fuji apple salad. Mac and cheese is as good as ever as a standard. The Fuji apple chicken salad was fantastic. Incredibly fresh ingredients. The apple chips had to be homemade. The Fuji apple dressing was excellent. Fantastic experience again. Love Panera!

Panera Bread Discrimination against black customers

New Tampa Panarea discriminated by giving a salad that was old and refused to refund our money. The GM then stated he didn't care and there was nothing he could do. Then the GM who took the phone call then lied about his role and slipped up by saying that his manager. We were totally confused. The service was terrible and the food looked old and like it was someone else's salad.

Panera Bread Panera Bread Makes up For Mistakes

Recently I ordered food online for lunch at work from Panera Bread. It arrived very late and cold, so I reached out to a customer service representative. I was not disappointed when he met me with two free meal tickets and an apology. I love when a company shows you that you are valued as a customer. I can't wait to use these meal tickets because the food is very delicious when it is hot! :)

Panera Bread CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST

I was celebrating my birthday weekend and a co worker gave me a Panera Bread gift card so after an appointment i had in Bellmore NY i decided to have lunch at the location on merrick road and what an amazing service i received from the front registrar but i want to mention an extraordinary young man at pick up by the name of Charleston
What a wonderful example of customer service ever. It was my first experience at this location but it will not be my last i will tell my friends and family that just as i was treated they will absolutely feel the same and again Charleston even though it was very busy made me feel as though every question or request was important he was professional, polite and extremely patient just awesome that is why i gave them 5 stars

Panera Bread Overwhelmed with gratitude

Darius is the new manager at the Panara bread on 98th & University.
I was sick and didn't want to expose myself by coming in to grab my food. Bc it was New Year's Day, I believe the drive thru was not an option so I called and they made an exception and brought my order to my car. Darius, the new manager, not sure if I am spelling his name correctly but would not take my card or payment for the meal. He just said it was free! And told me to have blessed day! Oh my word. That is a great way to start the new yr! Being sick over the holidays was a bummer, and I didn't have the strength to go to the store and buy ingredients and make chicken soup. But Darius gave me and my husband would needed dinner after work, two free meals, on the house! I'll be shopping at this particular Panara breads from now on! Bless you Darius!

Panera Bread I can't even describe how excellent the customer service is

Talk about amazing! I have ordered Panera Bread delivery for lunch at my work four times in the past two weeks! They have not disappointed! My lunch ALWAYS arrives BEFORE the estimated delivery time, it is FRESH, and EXACTLY how I want it, and the delivery drivers are always so professional, nice, helpful, and friendly. I've had two drivers serve me, and both offered coupons each time. The food is so delicious that I can't get enough of it! I've had the almond chicken salad sandwich, bagels and cream cheese, yogurt cup, frozen lemonade, Caesar chicken salad, broccoli cheddar soup, and frozen caramel. Everything has been so mouth-watering. When I order extra dressing, they give me extra. I ordered extra chicken on my salad, and there was literally almost too much chicken to eat! Just the way I like it! My Panera Bread store is located on 1922 Augusta St. Greenville, SC ***. The service, timeliness, cleanliness, deliciousness, and the experience is just out of this world! I am so impressed!

Panera Bread Food, service, dirty tables and floors

Entered the restaurant and it was only like 6:30 pm nowhere near closing time but it was a total mess the beard and dessert cases were basically empty and taken apart, all of the bread cooling racks pulled out into the front, cashier unknowledgeable, and rude. My warm bowl and the pizza were cold, my husband's sandwich had about half the meat it should have like it was the scraps that they had left, his vegetable soup didn't look right or taste right like it was the last bit they had that had been made and sitting since that morning, my daughter ordered a half sandwich and acknowledged to the cashier that it would only be a half sandwich with soup but she was given a whole sandwich, my sons meal was as ordered the only one. We had to clean a table to just sit and eat, the floor was nasty in the dining area. We spent a total of $84.29 which included a $3.00 tip even though everything almost was awful, this has never happened at this store before. My family and I are very disappointed and doubt we will return, and we actually go often to this store. I do not know what is going on, but something really needs to change.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund. I wish i would have taken pictures of the nastiness and chaos, that was going on. I have never seen that store in that condition and have always had great service until last night, only thing right was my sons meal.

Panera Bread Where's the meat?

I bought a half of bacon, lettuce tomatoes, with a chicken sandwich, half of salad and 2 scones. The scones were very dry. I think the scones were a day old.

The sandwich had barely any chicken, maybe 3 bites, the salad had a teaspoon of the dressing 3 bites of chicken 3 bites of avocado. It was a disappointment.

The scones were great.

I don't think the meal was worth $22.00. I mean I could have gone somewhere else.

Panera Bread Missing salad dressing

My name is Lynne Sullivan, [protected]@gmail.com. On Friday, February 23, 2024 I went through the drive at the Panera location on Thomasville Road in Tallahassee Florida. I ordered two Asian chicken salads along with drinks. Order number 1302528 purchased at 10:21.

Drove approximately 50 miles home anticipating a delicious salad. To my utter disappointment there was no salad dressing. Just a lettuce salad with very little chicken and NO salad dressing.

I contacted the store, spoke with Kell, and was told the next time I was in Tallahassee I could get two free salads. I live 50 miles, one way, and don't often get to Tallahassee. But, will I really get two free salads if I walk in and say, Kell said I get two free salads?

Panera Bread Ordered 4 soups and only received three tomato soup but did not get my broccoli cheese soup... The store was not very helpful

I went to the sheffield panera bread at 5382 Abbe Rd sheffield ohio 44035. I ordered 3 tomato soups and 1 brocoli cheese soup on 02/5/2024 at 7:14pm. The staff seemed in a hurry. so I continued to order and seemed to be moving very quickly. I asked if they had tomato basil soup at first the girl just looked at me and said no. I got home thinking everything was in the bag and my brocoli cheese soup was not in the bag. I paid 8.49 for the soup. I would like a reimbursement if possible. thanks

Panera Bread Service, treatment of customers, food, and that when you walked into the restaurant it didn’t smell appetizing.

My husband and I were there on 1/24/2024 at 4:05. The girl acted like she didn’t want to wait on us. The ask if it were to go or for there. We told her for there. We asked questions about the menu she acted like she didn’t want to tell us anything. We finally ordered and got our meal and these very small cups for our drinks. I would have called it a kids cup. And then finally got our order:2 teriyaki chi bwl, 2 drinks, 2 French Bag sides. 1 1/2 Chex fujiapple salad, 1 drink, 1 French bag side. We only ordered 2 drinks got charged for three. 36.67 was our bill total. Our bread was so tough you could only eat the middle. The restaurant didn’t even smell good in fact it stunk . I expected to smell fresh bread smells. We couldn’t eat everything and ask for a to go dish to put the salad in and were told they could dump it on paper and wrap it up and put it in a bag. She had ask when we ordered if it was a to go but couldn’t give us a to go bowl for salad that had the dressing in the bottom of the bowl a to go bowl.

We want be back and I want recommend you to anyone I know. We were not treat well in your restaurant. If they treat other customers as they did us I con understand why we were the only ones in there.

Thank you for your time and reading this maybe it will help other people get treated better in you restaurant. Very disappointed customer.

Panera Bread Service

Good Afternoon,

I was at Panera at 2669 MacArthur Road. I entered the store around 2:45 PM. I saw that there was Hazelnut and Dark Roast coffee. I asked for light and they brought out a container that had non hot coffee. I aaked to have coffe that was hot. I was also told that we only have the Hazelnut and Dark roast after 2:00 PM. They did go back and brewed the regular coffe however the manager wasn't happy. I also ordered a Cinnamon Bun that tasted that it was out for days, being hard to cut and chew. The manager seemed that he didn't want to be bothered. His name was Chris Maldarell. I felt that I did something wrong by ordering regular coffee after 2:00 PM. Chris does not seem to care about the customers.

Desired outcome: A refund for 1 coffee and a Cinnamon Bun

Panera Bread Drive Thru

On Sunday December 10th I visited Panera in Gallatin via drive thru. The line was long but never did I think it would take 1 hour and 20 minutes to get my food from this line. After sitting in the drive thru line for about 55 minutes (which I could not get out of due to cars behind me and a curb that I could not go over to the side of me), I finally made it to the window to pay only to be asked to pull over to a parking spot to wait for my food longer. I sat in the parking spot for about 25 minutes waiting on my food, they brought it out and as I checked to make sure the order was right, it appeared to me that both of my sandwiches were wrong. This is highly disappointing as I visit this location often and hope that this is not going to be the way service is going to be from this point forward. I'm sure I am not the only one filing a complaint as there were several other cars that had been waiting in this line for food that were also directed to pull over to a parking spot to wait even longer. Please check on your employees and store, this is never ok!

Panera Bread Soup size - getting smaller, less of the product, higher prices - customers not stupid

12/8/23 - I went to buy a soup, a chicken noodle and in my opinion the soups are coming very small for the price. I am Panera customer for years and I used to study in the Panera next to school and I have a clear memory of the sizes of about everything. I noticed that starting a few years, there was a reduction in the sizes. Panera starting cutting the salad bowl for the rectangular container and then the rectangles are getting smaller every day. The soup and the large size is getting super small and today I purchased a tea and it seems to me that the size of the large cup also was reduced a bit.
