They see dollar signs in every one of our photos, so it's important to be aware of this.

If you meet a woman over the internet, tell her that the first meal is "dutch." If all goes well, then it's up to you on bill payment, but don't ever forget that women nowadays are all determined to take your almighty dollar. In the four months I was on it, I might have gotten two or three responses a week, then as my time was running out, I get barraged with 14-15 a day. So, I asked him to call me, and that's when I realized that he was not who he claimed to be. He had an accent of a Caucasian voice, but when he talked to me, he had a UK African accent, yet he told me he was a Caucasian European race. After I confronted him, the next day I received another message from another user with a similar story. I thought maybe I had one bad experience with one guy, so I moved on and gave it another chance. But, unfortunately, the situation got worse.

I contacted OurTime customer service and told them about the events. I told them that their website is not secure, and I'm concerned because now they may use my pictures to harm other innocent users. But, they didn't seem to care much. They told me all they could do was help me change my username and place it in a security setting or hide my profile. So, I changed my username, hoping that it would stop the previous scammers from contacting me. But, it didn't stop, and the situation got worse.

I came across one decent man, and as we exchanged conversation and were about to talk over the phone, he contacted me and said I created a fake profile and that I should not waste my time contacting him again. I felt so humiliated and decided to send him a message to warn him about the situation, but I guess he blocked me.

In conclusion, I would not recommend OurTime to anyone. It's a waste of money, time, and emotional turmoil dealing with these scammers and unnecessary stress. This dating site should be investigated, and I hope that they will take the necessary steps to make their website more secure.

I was really excited to try out OurTime.com, as I had heard great things about it from my friends. However, I quickly realized that the trial membership wasn't actually free. I was offered a $7.95 weekly charge for their best plan, and foolishly gave them my credit card information. The next screen that popped up showed me that I was now on a 6 month plan for $111.76. I was really upset and tried to find a phone number to call, but couldn't find one anywhere on the website.

I was really frustrated and didn't know what to do. I decided to keep replying to the same automated email from them about 10 times, hoping that someone would eventually help me.

The next morning, I called my bank and disputed the charges. I also went into the bank to cancel my debit card and complete another form. The bank told me that the company had 10 days to respond to the dispute, and if they didn't, they would deposit the money back into my account. To my surprise, I received an email from OurTime (2 days after they took the money) telling me that they would refund me the money. I was relieved, but still a little skeptical.

I hope that my experience can help anyone else who is looking to get their money back. Even if it's a slight inconvenience, I would recommend canceling your debit card as well as your OurTime profile to avoid any possible future charges.

They apologized for any confusion with their membership pricing and explained that the monthly special is only applicable when all six months are paid in full. They also mentioned that each new order is charged a $3.99 processing fee. They reviewed my account and said that I was eligible for a one-time courtesy refund of $111.75, which has been transmitted to my financial institution. They also said that my account is now a free account, so I can still log in to the site as a free member, but I won't have access to the paid features such as messaging or chat.

However, you have to be honest and not lie about your personal details or use old photos. However, if you follow the help option, you can cancel and no one can claim any more money. Remove the subscription 14 days into the membership and there won't be any issues.

There are plenty of fake profiles on the site, just like on all dating sites. However, the majority of people are real and just misrepresent themselves. They put up a 10-year-old photo and big themselves up by saying things like "my friends tell me..." Then when they go on a date, both parties feel cheated. It's important to be honest and real.

The admin is terrible, by the way. Female members receive inappropriate messages and there's no filtering to protect members. As a male, I've had contact from females asking if my male parts are still working.

All in all, the site is full of people who think they're still gorgeous and that Brad Pitt or George Clooney will be among the male members. Disappointment is inevitable. Stop posting all the fancy stuff, like walking alone on a beach, and stop accusing males of being creeps. If you keep attracting weirdos, it's about time you checked the mirror.

The site's email system is also a mess. The cursor jumps around the screen, and sometimes your message just disappears without warning. And if you're not careful, you'll run out of space and have to start over. It's really frustrating.

I have been trying for a week to log into my new account. I have been getting emails from a variety of different idiots giving my instructions, however none of them been successful. I have been paying for a service for a week and I cannot access it. I am currently trying to ascertain a method of reaching the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint and get a refund of my money. As normal with this type of website, finding out where they are located is made as difficult as possible. Not a surprise.

Good Morning, and thank you for listening. I cancelled my Our Time dating site on November 2022. I am still getting billed for this site. I received a notice on December 2, 2023 that a payment was being debited from my account. Consequently, I would like to have an "audit" conducted and all monies refunded. I would also like to add, it would be a great concept to have a "person" to speak when you provide phone number. But I'm sure your staff would not be pleased with the type of conversation that I would have had with them. I am extremely upset and would like this to be resolved quickly.

My card has been declined multiple times, and card is good. I even tried an alternate card, both of which are good. I sent an email without response that I could not join. Tthere is NO number to speak with a person. They warn of fake numbers, and their phone on websiite gives more directions that repeats what's online. I got a discount offer from our time on my email, but after feeding all card info in, it declined again. I don't know what is scam and what isn't.

I'm very upset. I paid for the application and service, and now am unable to access the website off the app on my phone, or on my laptop. Your phone helpline is completely useless. This appears to be a scam of an application for sure. I hate and I mean I hate paying for something that I can't use. I did manage to get to the help section and the pictures below will show the result of that endeavor. This company is a sham so far. I find it ridiculous that I am unable to access the site, especially after having paid for it. Do not purchase the subscription to this site, and I would highly recommend not even using it after my experience it's worthless.

There is a man listed as Jim in Shreveport who contacted me soon after I joined site. I was new to site and to online dating and not thinking the military catfishing would be happening here. He immediately moved me to google chat and he did something to inactivate my Our Time account. You can verify this by looking at when I signed in then was off. Now I have had to join again as I could not use my prior purchase. He said he was peacekeepers in Ukraine and was a sergeant major in the army. He needed me to send him $7k in order to take retirement and get out of country coming to Texas.

On OurTime, common sense flies out the window. So don’t assume that only one profile per user is allowed. Nope, you can have multiple profiles albeit with the different email addresses. Perfectly legal and confirmed with the Customer Service.

And if this isn’t enough, some multiple users share the same user ID. I have a habit of bookmarking profiles and then looking them up later and make a choice. Nope, not possible with OurTime. I bookmark one, then try to bookmark another, and boom two supposedly different users have the same user ID. I personally don’t think that the numbers are recycled. More likely some if not all of them are FAKE in my humble opinion.

Apparently OurTime being hungry for more members, are plain creating new ones out of thin air, that’s what I’m thinking. I took a few screenshots of what I’ve found but am not sure how to post them there. (no photos for privacy)

Of course scammers and/or liars are abundant. This is not unique for the OurTime, but you have to be vigilant and research your contact by the phone number. If it’s a voip number (created on an app), stay away. If not, you still can research their identity by the phone number. It takes time but is well worth it. And it can be done free. I researched one member who contacted me, and found out that he lied about his age, and no telling about what else. I didn’t pay a penny for this.

I signed up for Ourtime dating website a couple weeks ago and every time I "try" to log into my account, I get an error saying they do not recognize me. They certainly took money out of my account and then it was like I did not exist. I have tried to contact them via email multiple times and the reply with a generic reply. This has been a horrible experience and now 2 weeks later, I just want a refund and never have anything to do with "Ourtime" again.

Messages started showing as if 2 different profiles with the same person. I deleted 1 of them and now they are both gone and I cannot retrieve. Email from OurTime advised I received a message from the person at 10:43PM last night but OurTime stopped allowing me to view the messages prior to that time. I think it has to do with my deleting what I thought was a duplicate but I can’t get any assistance. I’d really like to continue communicating. Any way to UNdelete what I deleted?

On July 8 I registered for a subscription to OurTime. At no time during the registration or payment process was it stated that a mobile phone was required for verification purposes.

When I looked at the site "free", all was well. As soon as payment was made verification by mobile number was required! Because I do not have a mobile number, I am now locked out of the site as every time I try to sign in the site automatically goes to a verification screen.

Contact with OurTime has been tried with [possibly bogus] phone numbers (only a fast beep occurs) and via their contact screen - there has been no response! A FULL REFUND OF MY SUBSCRIPTION IS REQUESTED due to no mention of the mobile number requirement during registration or payment screens and being locked out of the website.

I paid my subscription to Our Time over a week ago and I am not at all happy with the availability of the site. I have tried to log on several times, every day and I estimate that 90% of the time I have received the following message:

"This site can't be reached www.ourtime.co.uk took too long to respond".

I have, as suggested to me, checked the connection and tried reloading/refreshing several times. It is very frustrating. I ran a troubleshooting diagnostic and the result was

"resource(www.ourtime.co.uk) is online but isn't responding to connection attempts".

I have been successful several times late evening/night time but this limited access is not acceptable and I feel I should be refunded at least 50% of the subscription fee as I cannot access the service for more than 50% of the time!

I look forward to hearing back from you regarding this situation and receiving my refund.

I started our time beginning of april and cancelled it after 3 or so weeks, if had a cancel at the top of our time if you did not want to be in it anymore, I did this. A week later I went into our time to check to see if the cancellantion worked and it ask me for my information like I was a new client so I assumed it worked.

You have been charging me for my time which I cancelled in May and June which I have not used and it shows me I am not a member of please refund my money and stop billing me since you no longer show me as a member and I do not want to be a member I do not like your site.

I've tried a few dating sites in my time, including Match, POF, Zoosk, and Fitness Singles. They all have their good points, but none of them have annoyed me as much as OurTime. There are a couple of things that really get on my nerves about this site.

Firstly, when you use the search feature and scroll down to read someone's profile, an annoying box pops up asking you to Like or Flirt with them. This box follows you everywhere you scroll, blocking your view of the profile. It's so frustrating and makes the site really user-unfriendly.

But that's not the worst thing about OurTime. I recently noticed that my mailbox had 8 likes and flirts that I didn't send. How can they get away with that?! I contacted their "Help" department to ask them to stop and to express my displeasure with this dishonest way of generating traffic on their site.

To make matters worse, I received an automated response telling me that if I was upset about their auto-renewal policy, I could disable it. If that wasn't my issue, I was supposed to reply and then I would get a personalized response. So I replied, but all I got back was the same automated response. It's terrible customer service and it just adds to the frustration of using this site.

Overall, I would say that if you're looking for love on OurTime, you need to be prepared for some weirdos. It's not all bad, but you do need to be careful. Personally, I've decided that once a week, I'll go to a coffee shop or take myself out to dinner and sit at the bar with my unsweetened tea. The worst part about this is that I actually paid for this bull$#*!. So ladies, my advice to you is to run. Meet a guy the old-fashioned way, or just enjoy your own company for a while.

This dating service is absolutely terrible! As a woman, I was matched with other women, which was not what I was looking for. The photos of men that were sent to me were appalling. They looked like they were living under a bridge or in a hospital bed with oxygen. Some of them even had their shirts off or were taking selfies in a bathroom mirror. It was just awful.

I was also tricked into paying $200 for a promotion during a high traffic time. The grammar in some of the profiles was also suspect, and it was clear that they were not written by native English speakers. I also noticed that many of the men claimed to be engineers who were traveling and only available to text. This seemed very suspicious to me.

I strongly recommend that you try another dating service. There are so many fake profiles and dummy accounts on this site. Many people who signed up for a free trial are no longer active, so you're just wasting your time. Save yourself the trouble and run in the opposite direction!

So, I made an account on OurTime a few weeks ago. I didn't pay for it right away, but then I got an email with a great deal, so I decided to go for it. But when I logged in today, I found out that during those three weeks when I wasn't a paying member, they were sending fake messages to other members. They sent messages to people who I had clicked "yes I would be interested" in, saying things like I had made them my favorite member, I loved their pictures, and I wanted to hear more from them. But I had never sent those messages! Then, they would send an email to those members saying that I had liked their profile somehow. And eventually, those members would reply back to my profile with either flirts or a response that would trigger an email back to me that someone had made me their favorite, or I have a message from a member, etc. It was all just to get me to pay to join.

When I found out about this, I changed my profile to something totally ridiculous. I figured that no matter who sent me a flirt, message, or liked my pictures, there was no way to know if it was a real person or just a computer-generated message. But even with my ridiculous profile, I'm still getting flirts and messages. I'm pretty sure they're not from real people, though, because there's no way anyone would reply to my profile the way it is now.

Honestly, I'm surprised that OurTime hasn't been investigated yet. They don't seem to be doing anything legitimate. All they do is take people's money. It's pretty disappointing, to be honest.
