NorthStyle recurring VIP charges

Definition of Northstyle VIP program: Victimized Ignorant Patsy

I see that there are a multitude of consumers that have been duped by this company with a VIP club membership. Currently, the charge is $15.96 monthly. In my case, this is from my 96 year old mother's account and it started in $2021. Buyer beware when offered something too good to be true. I read the process for reimbursement and it is quite extensive. You order, you fill out a request for rebate/reimbursement and you wait for approval and reimbursement. Doesn't feel like VIP process to me - that you pay for.

This company and their VIP program should be audited by the IRS. How much money is collected every month from membership fees? How much is rebated back to VIP customers? Do the math. I bet the discrepancy is tremendous.

Claimed loss: 2021 - $14.95 for 9 months2022 - $14.95 for 12 months2023 - $15.96 for 12 monthsTotal cost for this lesson - $505

Desired outcome: more than 6 month refund. Modify program to be operated like amazon prime. Member pays annual fee for free shipping. Explain program better so customers don't feel duped.

NorthStyle elderly parent scammed

My mother ordered a jacket 6 months ago, she isn't all tech savvy so she ordered it via phone # using the item code. She recalls them being very pushy with their "vip rewards" program and declined to enroll multiple times. 4 months later we find out she has been getting charged $16 per month for this membership that is useless. Luckily we were able to dispute the charges as fraud with the credit card company and get it reimbursed. It is not a large sum of money, but my parents don't often buy things and they check their CC statements rarely for that reason. Luckily I caught it I guess, soon as I googled it I realized many others have been scammed by this company too, its disgusting they can get away with this just signing people up for it with an "oh well they can cancel it if they want" attitude. Stuff like this rarely gets enough attention to matter. $16 here and there from thousands or tens of thousands of people is A LOT of money.

NorthStyle Northstyle vip

Wife bought 3 items on 10/22/2018.
They have been charging a VIP service charge since then, and we did not notice it till now. They say my Wife joined their VIP service at that time, but the order does not show a VIP discount. My wife said she never joined their VIP service. My wife and I are elderly, and our Daughter noticed it when reviewing all her credit cards. This means they have taken out at least $897 was taken without her permission.

Claimed loss: Over $897

NorthStyle Unable to redeem gift certificates

My parents tried to purchase giftt cards for this clothing store, and they were mailed 2 paper certificates totalling $100 to give to me as a gift. It was suspect as the letter came in hand addressed and not with a legitimate looking return address. However there is no way to redeem them online and there is no physical store location. The website has no option to pay with gift certificates. I've called and tried to speak with someone to help me numerous times, but after the latest 30 minutes of them trying to get me to set up an "account" I gave up. It was very difficult to understand the person on the other end of the phone. I believe they took advantage of my parents.

NorthStyle #NL401 women's cropped jeans

I purchased the above jeans from Northstyle online catalog on 6/12/23 for $92.52. I purchased them because the description stated that the fabric was 97%cotton/3%spandex. I was eager to receive them because I am Very Allergic to polyester! When the jeans arrived the first thing I noticed was the label said 80%cotton/18%polyester/2%spandex. I didn't even try them on! I immediately called and told them the item is not as advertised and I want a full refund. I told them I shouldn't have to pay shipping either, since I would have never ordered them if they had polyester. They assured me I would get a full refund. After sending them back I called again and asked them to read me the notes on my order and they again stated full refund. On 6/28/23 a refund of $64.42 showed on my Visa. Not as promised! And false advertising!

Desired outcome: A full refund. False advertising and a person allergic to polyester wouldn't have ordered the item to begin with

I purchased one sweater on 8/25/2021. I did NOT enroll in the VIP program or agree to being charged monthly. I have been charged $12.95 monthly for 2 years and 10 months for a total of $414.00.

NorthStyle I am unable to use my card and buy products I want. I have bought many times

I get code FB- 1001. Further investigation needed. Have called to no success. Happening with Pyramid as well. I have been trying to buy three cross over soft Surplice tops. NP-478, Lake Blue, Spice and Olive Green in size medium. I have called my bank. It is not their denial. I have always paid for products. Why am I being turned down and investigated? I want it cleared up.

Desired outcome: Taken off investigation list. Able to buy as I wish. Now also turned down with same warning from Pyramid where I have bought often. I assume an affiliate.

NorthStyle My confirmed order not sent and appears misplaced/No follow-up.

Hello. I placed my order K8683252 on 6th October and received the confirmation email, after which there was absolutely no word. I wrote to you on the 18th to follow up. Your response said that the order could not be found! I still haven't received a response on my email from yesterday asking you to look further into the matter. I am exceedingly concerned. Please follow up with a a response on the status of my order.

NorthStyle Northstyle VIP

This subscription is meant to reimburse 10% of cost, plus all shipping costs and up to $10 of return shipping. It is nearly impossible to get a claim for reimbursement approved within a month or even 6 weeks, so unless you plan to buy enough EVERY MONTH to get back your $14.95 subscription cost - as well as spending an inordinate amount of time challenging the declined claims - then DO NOT use Northstyle VIP. I don't have a problem with their merchandise OTHER than the high cost (that I expected to be offset through the VIP program!). However, I view my entire VIP experience a total SCAM. Yes, I got a couple rebates right off the bat, then spent the last 6 weeks trying to get the rest of my orders/returns claims processed before having to pay another $14.95 monthly fee. I believe VIP should process my outstanding valid claims for $11.99 and $10 (shipping and return shipping from September 2022 activity), however I cancelled my membership to avoid paying another $14.95 AGAIN.

Desired outcome: I believe VIP should process my outstanding valid claims for $11.99 and $10 (shipping and return shipping from September 2022 activity) even though I cancelled membership in November to avoid another $14.95 while disputing these claims.

NorthStyle Horrible service

Ordered a coat for over 100.00. No free shipping $15.99, most companies for over $100 free shipping. Have to return a small because you can fit two of me in it. Was asked if I would like a larger size? I was told it would cost $10.95 to return it and would take up to 6 weeks to receive my credit to my card that they took the funds from IMMEDIATELY at the time of order. I should have known better then to order from them. I had a problem with them several years ago and thought I would give them another chance. Not sure how they stay in business.

Desired outcome: Take me off your mailing list to save trees. Refund my card IMMEDIATELY and stop charging people for shipping

NorthStyle Northstyle VIP has been charging my credit card for some type of membership without my approval!

Not sure how I didn’t catch this before, but Northstyle VIP has been charging my credit card $14.95 without my approval for the last 12 months and a pending now showing for August on that credit card. It’s what made me notice.

This is criminal and I will call my bank tomorrow to have that charge stopped and future charges blocked!

Sorry, the attachment is a picture of my laptop screen but you should still be able to see the dates, the amounts and that it was to Northstyle VIP!

NorthStyle VIP club charged to my credit card

I have been charged twice for a VIP membership in the amount of $14.95, once in July which I disputed through my credit card company and now again on August 11th. I do not approve these charges and have not signed up for this VIP membership. The membership needs to be cancelled immediately and amounts refunded back to my credit card, as I do not approve this charge and will be reviewing credit card statements regularly for any additional charges. Very frustrating to see something like this, when I did not sign up or approve this.

Desired outcome: Please refund any and all charges and cancel whatever perceived service is causing this to happen. If it's the catalog cancel it. Your website said the catalog was free but I don't want it for $14.95.

NorthStyle VIP club charged to my credit card

I noticed I have been charged for a VIP membership on Aug 10th in the amount of $14.95. I do not approve this charge and have not signed up for this VIP membership. The membership needs to be cancelled immediately and amount refunded back to my credit card, as I do not approve this charge and will be reviewing my previous credit card statements for any additional charges. Very frustrating to see something like this, when I did not sign up or approve this.

NorthStyle Women's tops

I got a promotional/coupon code to use for my order over $129 with $16 shipping fee with the order. I still have to pay the double of my order which is ridiculous and frustrating. I spoke with a couple of representatives and one of them was very pushy about getting on the VIP club so I can get free shipping. That is not free shipping when you have to pay a monthly fee. What a rip-off. I have ordered in the past with a promotional code but something has changed. I will not be ordering from this company again and will have them to take me off their mailing list. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and Federal Trade Commission. Northstyle is such a fraud if you cannot make your customers happy.

I ordered several items, maybe 5 - and was eagerly awaiting their arrival for an upcoming event. Time dragged on. Today I received a snail-mail letter that something happened, and my credit card didn't go through. They would be happy to start on my order after I called them and helped to figure it out.

SNAIL MAIL? You have to give your phone number and e-mail several times during placing an order! Why not use the FASTEST way to contact me instead of the very slowest (thank you, Louis DeJoy) to get the matter figured out as soon as possible?

NorthStyle Clothing/ tops - Order # [protected]

To whom it may concern,

I had placed an order by mail and wrote a check for the amount of $113.89 dated 11/14/2021. Which It went through my bank on 12/3/2021.. I was wondering why I have not received my orders. I called the customer Service # and had asked the status of my order dated 12 /21/2021.. Spoke to Jess or Jessie. She said that I still owe $11. and some cents.. That the order came through 11/27/2021.. This is the reason why I have not received what I had ordered.. I had asked her why I have not been notified about it.. She said because they did not have my phone # nor my email address.. I had asked her you have my mailing address right? she said they do not notified customer by mail.. How do you expect me to know that I still owe an amount.. So I had requested to just give my refund back. .I had bought them so I can wear it for the Holidays coming and it is already the 21st.I told her to just send me my money back. .She said give it 7 to 10 business days for me to get it in the mail..

1/2/2021, I had called again.. This time I spoke to Ariel, asked to why I have not received the refund check that I had requested since 12/21/2022.. she said It was send to me 12/21/2021.. I have not received anything from you all. .She said that she is going to cancel that check and will send me another check and to give it again 7 to 10 business days..

1/17/2021, I called again and asked to what is going on with the refund check. .I spoke to Shane (C/S) tranferred me to Hannah, she said she only takes orders don not know why I was transferred to her...I again got transferred to Hazel (C/S) she said that according to the record that the check was cancelled and that she is going to issue me another check and to give it AGAIN 7 to 10 business days..

Mind you this is the third time that the check was on the way to me...

All this time I had asked each one of the person I had spoke to give me the order # because I was asked for it all the time I called but none of them had bothered to give me the order #..

Finally, when I called again. on 2/1/22 and had spoke to John Bold. .He finally gave me the order #.. Ain't that amazing. .I also had requested to speak to a supervisor or higher position, he said that they can not be reach.. the only way is for him to transfer me to ( C/S) Level 2 in Mass. .I spoke to Peter, he said that he will do a check tracer and that he will let me know.. I had asked for a phone # that I can reach him also, gave me [protected] Dept.# 225

2 /21/2022, I called again, spoke to Mel, He said that they had sent me a letter by mail letting me know that they sent me a notification that I still money. .He said it was dated 11/29/2021.. I said i did not get it. .My respond to him was if I managed to pay the amount of $113.89, you don't think I am able to

pay another $11.and some cents? I said to him with all the people that I spoke to in your dept.. You are the only one that had mentioned about a mail that was sent to me that i did not received.. I remembered I was told that you do not notified customers by mail.

2/22/22, called again and spoked to Peter, called the [protected], which I had spoked to on 2/1/22 and it was a Country Store # in Mass. I had asked im if they have the right information like my correct address and so on. .we went through that and everything is correct.. Peter again told me for the second time that he will do a check tracer and that he should find out by the end of the day. .He had asked for my contact # and I should get the refund check by the first of the week of march..

I did not received a call or txt or msg. .that day or any other day..

And it is now March the 6, 2022..still waiting for my money that I had paid and went through my bank for the amount of $113.89, and did not received the Items that I had ordered..

My personal check that I made for the items had been cashed.. Why is it so hard to get what belongs to me..

All I want is my money back..

NorthStyle I want full refund for all the months you charged me for VIP

It just came to my attention that you have been charging me for a VIP service that I never signed up for. You started in May 2021 and it is just now that I realized about this scam. When I called to complain yesterday, without any questions, the person on the other side said she would credit my account. Well, the credit came through and it's for only one month. Oh no. You need to return ALL OF MY MONEY. I don't even buy that much from you and when I do, I have to return the clothes because they are of poor quality and overpriced.

Desired outcome: Full refund for every single month.

I placed an order on November 28 for 2 dresses; the order was not shipped until Dec 9 ; I did not receive the order until Dec 14 and the dresses were too large. Returned immediatety.
I called/emailed several times and kept getting robo answers and no one would return my calls.
I will NOT order from this company again! Your customer service is appalling.

Desired outcome: Just today received notification that my refund will be taken care of. RIDICULOUS

NorthStyle Shipment/customer service

I am writing about problems with shipping Order # K 730665 with FedEx Ground (which now tells me it's with USPS, for which I have no cracking number), which seems to be a pretty common complaint here, and Customer Service's absolute cluelessness about shipping issues. Will definitely never order from Northstyle again; I just wish I had read these complaints before ordering!
