On 9/29/06 I paid off a dept to northeast credit and collections. The debt originated with NCO-MEDCLR, and was still owned by them. 30 days later I pull my credit report, and the account has been moved back to NCO from NCC and states that no money has been paid, and no settlement has been reached....

I have no outstanding payments against any bills. I do not understand a $443.00 outstanding bill under NCO-MEDCLR. All medical payments have been paid in full by my insurance and me till date.

With no letters received how come suddenly I see an outstanding balance with the collections...
