We took out vehicle there and they had to do a engine install. Very professional and gave us updates with everything they did. Will definitely do more business with them

I travel the USA for work and the few times I needed help they got to my car ASAP, fixed it in a timely manner and were totally honest about the repairs that needed to be done on my car. No guess work or extra charges, Straight foreword and the price has been with in reasonable rates thank you for your help. Meighan.

My name is Stephanie Bowden. I've been a customer with Meineke for years now and haven't had a problem until recently after having my oil changed. I had my oil changed last week at your Fuquay-Varina location and all was normal until today. I started my Dodge Durango Citadel 5.7 to go to work as usual and a big, white cloud of smoke came from the exhaust. I checked the oil level on the dipstick and it was almost bone dry. I took my vehicle back to the same Meineke and told them the problem. They checked over my vehicle and they said that the oil plug was cross threaded and they replaced a oil plug gasket. The oil pan on my Durango is made of aluminum and I am worried that it will leak again and also the damage that may have been done to the motor from driving it with no oil. I have all my info and receipts. I should not have to check behind your employees whenever I have a service performed. I also expect your company to fix, or pay to fix any damage done to the motor or oil pan because my vehicle was fine which you will see on the last diagnostic report from my last appointment. The unfortunate event was caused by your employee therefore this makes you responsible. Please contact me at [protected].

On 6/30 I took my car to mienikee for power steering issues, which they replaced for $1500 Drove it until . O8/23 the steering went again and took it back to mienikee. They replaced it saying it was defective. Drove it to hazlet on 9/11 the steering went out again power steering would not work again, had towed to another facility and repaired. Since mienikee do not fix the problem I believe they owe me 1590.00 This was done at mienikee on route 34 South in Aberdeen, NJ

On July 17, 2023 I took my 1999 Jeep TJ to have an exhaust leak fixed. Ernie, the person at the front desk quoted me $545. I agreed, I paid. Next day I was told that the work was completed, and Chery, the front desk person assured me that they verified and no more leaks were identified. She also told me that the warranty is 12.000 mile or 12 months.

I started the car and I noticed the brakes were blocked. The mechanic did not know why. I pointed to him that he did not connect the vacuum booster to the intake, when he put everything back together. That solved the problem. On my way home, I notice my engine light was on; I pulled over, and I notice that the breather hose was disconnected. I connected it but that did not fix the problem. I contacted Cherry and she told me to bring the car back. I had to leave it there again, because, I was told, they have to research what to OBD code for engine light means.

Next day Chery called me and ask me to pay another $550 to fix the engine light (remember, the engine light was not on when I brought it in). I refused and I went back to take my car. This time, besides the engine light, the hood was also scratched with the paint chipped (it seemed that the hood was slammed to the car’s the top frame).

This time Ernie, the one that quoted me, remembered me from before, and after explaining him my concerns he pointed to me that the exhaust leak was not entirely fixed it is still present and he asked me to leave the car in the shop for the next two days and he will “make it right”. Next day evening, Thursday, Ernie called me and told me he did not fixed the car. I got the same answer next day, Friday and the day after. Various reason were invoked - short staffed, they didn’t find the leak etc. and if I want I can take the car back.

I pointed to him that he took a payment for a work that was actually not completed, and he also refuses to stand by the warranty. I asked for a refund and he refused. He added that if I leave it until Monday (today 7/24) he will fix it. After all the lies and deceit, I am very skeptical. I don’t feel that my car is safe at their shop.

I called Meineke [protected]) online and on the phone and I file a complaint. Next is Arizona Attorney General, BBB, social media and internet review sites.

My name is JoAnn Yarbrough and I visited Meineke 182 in South Holland IL on Saturday July 8, 2023 asking them to check my vehicle for check engine light and brakes. I was told that check engine was to bad sensors and spark plugs.

I picked up the car on 7/10/23 and it ran much worse. after they supposedly took the car for a test drive. I returned to the shop and that's when I was told that it might be the oxygen sensors. I showed the owner the system report and invoice that showed I paid for all the sensors to be replaced including the oxygen sensors

When I asked the owner to test drive it so he could see that they problems were still the same and worst, he refused. I missed two days of work and the car is still not fixed. How can I tell if the parts were actually changed? The same codes show as they did when I first brought the car in.

Meineke auto repair shop located in 23109 Aldine Westfield Rd, Spring TX77373 had worked on 2016 Chrysler 200 on Mar/02/2023 at 9:32AM for Removed and Replaced an Oil Pressure Sensor, the cost for that job was $194.07, but after the work done. I could only used my car for one day and the check engine light came back (because of that sensor problem from the beginning). So, I had my car tow back to their shop, because I did not want to cause damage to my car engine (tow receipt was $218). This time they kept my car for a week and could not fix the issue and the check engine light was ON, still. So I had my car towed again to AutoNation Chrysler dealership to work on the check engine light, they run diagnostic test and concluded that was Oil Pressure Sensor defective, so they replaced it. My car is running great now. Based on my experience with Meineke shop, I do not want to go there for any of car services again. Thank you for letting me to report on this complaintsboard.com.

On 1/14/23, I took my car to the location on 760 Wolcott Street in Waterbury, CT for an oil change. On May 8, I took it in to the same location for a recommended oil change. I was told that there was about a quart of oil in the engine causing damage to the engine and it had to be replaced with a cost of $6000.00. They did not want to do the oil change due to liability issues. I added oil myself along with anti-knock solution that they recommended.

On 5/23, I took my car to Durable Radiator in Waterbury to verify the issue and they agreed that the engine has to be replaced at a cost of approximately $5500.00

Therefore, I believe that the engine issue was cause by the improper oil change done by your store. I checked the oil pan to make sure it did not leak.

I been repairing my Truck, over 10,000 dollars. The only Mechanical company is Meineke on the Chevy Silverado 2006. Having the intervention from Brett General Manager, Peoria, AZ. I just want the Truck safe repairs. Suspected been broke intentional by Staff Mechanical. Engine been replaced and there are not record of the repaired truck engine in Meineke System. Request be included as is a service paid and contracted Meineke Company. Then when the Truck got back to my house after one week out from home at Meineke Repair Store and in 3 days after the Locked Passenger Door Broke, again I paid, then let me drive, like nothing happened, the Glass window Passenger side not got down, and was not locking the door, drove back in less than 5 minutes drive got back, they repaired, then next day my Son want to move the window down, in the side of the passenger not function. then back to Meineke Office and state the cable are old. The truth, included with the door lock broken the Windows was fine. look all the money are Thousand of dollars, in only one Truck. look all the visitations and the games

On April 7, 2023 I took my Subaru to Meineke in Lincolnton, N.C. for A/C repairs.
The Manager there is Brian O'Reilly. [protected]. They ran a A/C inspection, which costs approximately 250.00. They informed me of the repairs it needed. A complete overhaul of the system, costing approximately $1700.00.
Mr. O'Reilly talked me into a Meineke Credit Card for financing. I agreed to this.
However, the work was never done. I've gotten the runaround ever since.
No communication from Mr. O'Reilly since. I've had to contact them whenever I could get through on the phone.
I finally sent Mr. O'Reilly an Email requesting that he cancel this work order. That was sent on April 21, 2023. Still no response.
I found someone else to complete the repairs. I don't understand.
Maybe this location needs a new manger.
I won't be paying this bill.
