LivingSocial My account was locked down bc it was hacked

My account was locked down 2/14/2023 because it was hacked and the criminal spent down all my groupon bucks. I filed a police report, they went TO the hotel the criminal was at with MY groupon bucks and couldn't do anything because there is a third party that sells hacked groupon bucks. My attached debit card was also charged. Groupon refuses to do anything to restore my account OR refund my money OR give me back over 100 unused groupons I PAID FOR that are in my account

Desired outcome: I need my account restored AND my groupons reinstated--i will deal with the hacked issue later

LivingSocial Wowcher

On 18th Dec I browsed your site page re Crystal Crackers. An automatic payment was immediately dispatched. This had never been happened before.

I requested a rebate. I was asked if I would accept a credit. I did oniginally agree.

I have been informed by email credit has to be used in 4 days. This is not acceptable and very poor practice for your company.

I have been advised by Paypal to contact you. I have stated a need a full refund of £31.98. cost of article and posting. I have not received the item I did not access the voucher. The transaction was unknown to me.

I await your reply. I am informed by Paypal to contact you and inform them of my outcome.

LivingSocial heated Gillet x 6

I placed my order on 20th October 2022.

At the time I didnt realise this was a voucher system and tried to redeedm them on 27th October and I couldnt.

I emailed their CS asking if they could advise how to do it of refund the full amount of £179.94

After several emails I was advised how to redeem them only to find I was being charged another £4.99 for delivery of EACH item so another £28.94 as far as I was concerned this was one order.

Again I asked for a refund and was told that I would get 50% off delivery on my next order

AGAIN I asked for a refund and reminded them I would nt have used them had I known they were part of WOWCHER, today I have been advised my account has been credited so when I place my next order they have MY MONEY in their account.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Desired outcome: FULL REFUND OF £179.94 INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT AS I WAS WITHIN THE 7 DAY PERIOD

LivingSocial .Not received any of my items

I have bought a lot of items about six weeks ago amounting to over two hundred euros worth ,and have not received any of my items.

I have tried calling the irish office in Barrow St. [protected] but to no avail.

Please can you get in touch with me ASAP.

I really don't want to take this any further then I have too.

LivingSocial small double orthopedic mattress I paid for and redeemed on 6 October

I thought it was coming from Ireland as the price was in euros, but it turned out it was coming from the UK. I was given a delivery date of 14 October. I got rid of my mattress and bed on that date but the order didn't arrive - next delivery date was on or before 19 October. no arrival. then delivery date of 21 October via DHL from UK.

MATTRESS HAS STILL NOT ARRIVED. NO ANSWER TO MY COMPLAINTS FROM LIVING SOCIAL.

I CONTACTED THE VENDOR DREAMTOUCH ASKING FOR THE DIMENSIONS OF THE MATTRESS SO I COULD BUY A BED FRAME THAT WOULD FIT IT. NO RESPONSE.

I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR SINCE 14 OCTOBER AS DELIVERY DATE PROMISES WERE NOT KEPT.

Desired outcome: DELIVER MY MATTRESS NOW!!!! AND COMPENSATE ME FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND DISCOMFORT I HAVE EXPERIENCED DUE TO YOUR FALSE DELIVERY DATES. I HAVE WAITED IN FOR DELIVERY ON 3 OCCASIONS NOW, MISSING OTHER APPOINTMENTS I HAD.

LivingSocial Liars

On 06 Jun 2022, I ordered/tried to order a device for removing earwax from Wowcher Ltd (t/a Living Social), Northcliffe House, Meadow Road, Derby DE12BH. It stated a suction device for removing earwax was available for either £4.99 or £5.99, which was a saving of the price approx £20, but there was a postage which meant the bargain price was now £10.98. As a 79 year old pensioner, if something can go wrong, it will go wrong and today, my bank statement shows I have been charged TWICE. I found that the telephone number [protected] is not recognised, and to try again, but again not recognised. Is this WRONG number INTENTIONAL so that people cannot contact by telephone, because this should not be allowed. But the email address for Wowcher, which is [protected]@email. livingsocial.co.uk is also unavailable when I tried to contact. Wowcher has given a wrong misleading price for a device. They have failed to provide CORRECT contact information, making it IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO DO SO. What can I do to remedy this situation?

LivingSocial Voucher not accepted by business

Hello,

This is Maria Cristina Longo. On January 14 I purchased a Voucher for an hair cut at a local Salon in Fort Lauderdale. When calling for scheduling the appointment the Salon owner said that she does not accept those coupons any more, that she offered the same coupon in the past years through Groupon but was not even aware that the promotion is currently offered by Living Social. She mentioned that other clients reported the same issue and she tried to have this promotion deleted from Living Social with no success. It sounded like Living Social is scamming people: I reached out multiple times to the customer care service and they never responded either via email (sent two emails) or phone. I request a refund of my Voucher Order # [protected] | Purchased on Jan 14, 2022, total $42.30.

LivingSocial I pruchased a special on 3 subscriptions for $6

I have tried to redeem this but could not without paying about half price for each magazine. Following the on line instructions was no help.
No customer service available except chat. The web site gave a number to call but when I called it they said they were not open but to call between 8am and 8pm, I was calling mid afternoon. No help. I have been trying this for two days not .. Feed up!

Desired outcome: Cancell order or get me someone via PHONE to help?

LivingSocial Voucher code FSWAWC 3E4RPF

We have been told by the venue the voucher has expired dispite being told when trying to book when they were open that they were not accepting vouchers at that time?
We tried several times to book but live in England as you will see from the account address so not always in the country.

Could we please request a refund for this voucher as given the COVID 19 restrictions this is completely unacceptable of them.

This was purchased as a Christmas present.

LivingSocial Rainproof coat by pinkpee

order size 14 XL showerproof coat I received a coat as described but it is XL dont think a size 14 is XL. this was order by me on 25th june at a price of 18.99. it arrived o n the 21/07/2021 and I would be very happy with it if it was the correct size or would reorder if they were still in stock which they are not so please tell me how to return this item for a full refund. LivingSocial Delivery not happening

I have purchased 2 products . A rattan folding table £39+postage A pair of sun lounge chairs £89+postage, money has been taken out my account, but still not revived any notice of postage . Date 26/3/21. LivingSocial Dangerous toys

I bought 2 peek a boo elephant toys for my grandkids for xmas I have een trying to sort matter out with a craig lloyd who is dealing with it I have had the worst experience with him ever. all I want is a refund there were loose wires hanging out of toys sent pictures contacted merchant no joy
I contact craig lloyd in early january first and keps on fobbiong me off I am elderly and being treated like this is unreal please help

LivingSocial Vendor will not honor voucher, can't get money back

On March 4th, I purchased a Voucher. I opened it so that I could use it. But when I contacted the owner of the Skin Bar, she claims that she does not offer a voucher through Living Social and will not honor this voucher. Living Social will not reply to my request for refund. Kay

LivingSocial Advertising and Marketing Method

Please help me UNSUBSCRIBE from Livingsocial. It is impossible and extremely difficult. And their advertisements and marketing things are totally INTRUSIVE. GO AWAY LIVING SOCIAL!

LivingSocial Service

On 8/10/2020 I purchased 4 tickets from living social for kayaking for two. 2 from my email and family from their email. After we purchased tickets, we received a confirmation number and statement indicating I will redeem a code for reservations. The following day I received my code, however, the code wasn't allowing me to enter. I immediately called center and they told me to go website. I explained again and they told me to go to the website. I also chat help and the same thing. They told me they will forward it to someone else. Basically, they are taking me in circles and no resolution. I explained it's fraud for taking people's money and not making reservations for people they should be entitled to a refund. They stated no refunds! So I'm stuck with tickets I can't use! Please help us out, they are taking advantage of this covid crisis to steal from people!

Hi Deziree,

We purchased tickets for the same kayaking trip and they did the exact same thing to us. We even tried to book normally and there was spaces available, thus making their claim of not having space a lie. I am looking into what we can do, but Living social should have a responsibility to their customers to at least investigate and protect those who are using their service.

LivingSocial Set of mink lashes and one touch-up

I purchased a voucher to Lash Artist Academy for a set of mink lashes and one touch-up ($185 value) on November 22, 2013, for my elderly mother. She didn't want to use it after discovering that she would be a guinia pig for students learning how to do lashes. Later, I attempted to use it for before a special event, but the company went out of business. I reached out to Livingsocial.com to exchange the voucher. They would not accommodate my request. Instead, they referred me to Lashes on Broadway who informed me that I'd have to pay nearly $100 to get the full set. I couldn't afford it. Twice in the past 2-3 years, I called to see if the new company would let me get a full set. Both times, I was told that someone would look into the matter and call me back. No one ever did. One day, while in San Juan Capistrano, I noticed the shop next to Ruby's Diner, so I went in. I asked to speak to the manager. The girl at the counter sneared at me even though I didn't do anything to provoke it. Then, I heard her mocking me to another lady. I did share with her that it was not nice of her to do. Rather than apologize for her behavior, she huddled with the lady again and openly laughed. I heard one of them say "Vaca Gorda, " which means fat cow. I don't know what caused them to be so rude to me. I was so upset and humiliated, that I left and never went back. I'm going to attend a special event and need to get a set of lashes again. Due to how they treated me, I do not want to go there. Plus, it's closed due to the pandemic. I paid $90+ and got nothing for it. I would, once again, like to ask for a credit towards another purchase.

LivingSocial christmas photo cards

12/2/19: ordered 100 online printerpix photos with living social $17 coupon code. The site added $2.17 for processing and $9.99 for shipping.
12/24/19: one card arrived. One. One. They sent one card in a fed ex envelope... Missing 99 of the others.
12/27/19: I called the customer support line, which transfers to the united kingdom. Hold time over 30 minutes. Rep had heavy (indian) accent and was hard to understand. He would not credit the $2.17 or $9.99 shipping fee. He said they would send the other 99 photo cards for free but I would first have to pay another $9.99 for shipping via paypal.
12/29/19: rep sent payment link via paypal and I paid another $9.99 to have the remaining order shipped. The site said it would take 14-21 days to arrive. (thanks christmas cards closer to super bowl!)...
1/3/20: I called printerpix to try and get the $9.99 credit. Again the rep said they wouldn't credit the shipping charge... Said the $9.99 was a standard shipping charge for one card or 1, 000. I asked to speak to a supervisor. There were no supervisors available. He said one would call me back by the end of day... But no one called me back.
1/6/20 no cards. No call back. Contacting living social online... No phone number available.

LivingSocial 2 hour photography class from northlight photography

Hello and hope all are doing well.

I bought my voucher a few years back. My voucher [protected] doesn't expire until June 16th, 2019. When I tried to redeem, the company said they no longer honor these vouchers.

The company should either shorten the expiration time or honor the voucher until expiration date.
