I went online to read a newspaper article and glaring in my face were several t-shirts being advertised by Light In The Box. The shirts were in clear support of insulting America and adding to the unrest in a country that is supposed to be "united." Calling one president a "traitor" who has done nothing to threaten our country, government, or citizens, and promoting a president who has been solely responsible for splitting America in half and hate.

Light In The Box Knock offs

I ordered a pair of boots that were priced fairly and looked good online. Really wasn't prepared for what I received! They actually were delivered in time frame indicated (actually a few days early) and I was surprised when I opened box to find a "Dr Martens" box complete with model number and all the markings from Dr Martens (I own 2 pr of actual Dr Martens boots). As soon as I pulled boots from box I could see these were not any where near quality boots, even tho they had Dr Martens hang tags and one curious tag "New from Dr Martens"... I have never seen a pair of boots with the toungue sown together in the poor manner these were and even tho they have Dr Martens insoles and "Air Wair" pull ups on back of boot the side markings state "Dr Marians"? The leather is so thin and the boots actually overlap at top when laced up! Dr Martens company was very interested in my comments and pictures of these boots and assured me they would look into this and they did not have these boots produced! Anyway this company Light in the box wants me to send back and then refund, not going to happen as I do not trust them, I guess I'll use them to work in the mud till the boots fall apart! I have yet to get an explaintion of why they tried to pass thes shoddy boots of as Dr Martens in the box. I would advise anyone of doing any business with this "knock off" selling company and am filing complaints with my state atty gen and federal trade commission regarding intellectual Property Infringement.

Light In The Box I have bought quite a few items from this company and

I have bought quite a few items from this company and have found everything I have bought from them is extremely good value for money. Any complaints I have had have been dealt with immediately by extremely helpful supervising staff to my full satisfaction. At the beginning I found that, if using their free shipping, the items took quite a bit longer than specified, so I now use their expedited shipping, which guarantees tracking and delivery in under a week, so it is well worth the very reasonable amount spend, to avoid having to chase any orders that may be longer in arriving. Any refund was done immediately when providing photographic evidence of any breakages or damage in transit, like happened with the earpin on one earring which had been broken off or a pair of very cheap boots which turned out to be exactly that, but I got my money back plus postage immediately, plus a coupon for my troubles - so cannot complain. I had of course to provide photographic evidence which proved my point, and they were so polite and apologetic that it's been an absolute pleasure doing business with them. So far I have bought jewellery Excellent smart phone excellent, bedside table lamps, excellent, bracelet watches, doggy harnesses and car safe belts, excellent, kitchen utensils, good, personal care, great,... and the prices were on the whole fantastic.

Clothing - they do have guidelines as to measurements, I have not ventured into buying any clothing yet.

So all in all it has been so far a great shopping experience. I will continue to buy from them and from MiniInTheBox, their partner company. And of course thanks to PayPal for an excellent service.

Light In The Box Patience & Understanding

As I am not really computer literate, I made "a mistake" when I decided to place all of the items I had ordered [with various companies] in a new file on the left side of my screen under the Categories heading and named it "Orders via Internet" so that I would not have to back-track to all the items in my Inbox. This seemed like a good idea to me, BUT what I had NOT understood was, that I needed to check this file on a daily/regular basis in order to keep track of the updates of when my package would arrive, etc. Instead I only checked my INbox and found it strange that I wasn't receiving any news from Track & Trace via DHL, UPS, Postnl,... After getting in touch with these delivery companies I realized that they had been to my door, and even left an update of where I could pick up my order... Finally I decided to take a look in that new file and discovered that all the news I was looking for was clearly indicated in each order that I had placed, but only if you click on eacht of the orders... No wonder I was missing out on any detailed updates! Once I discovered that my items had been Returned to Sender, I was able to straighten it all out and finally did receive my orders. A lesson learned indeed! The Customer Service Team(s) were very patience and understanding once I had explained my mistake. I didn't even have to pay the cost of re-sending my packages! Wow! This truly is excellent service! They have not lost me as a customer, but gained my confidence, so I have even made new orders, now that I realize "where" I have to check "for updates" pertaining to my orders! My "heartfelt thank you" for all the departments who had to work together to make my mistake right! Great teamwork!

Light In The Box The best company ever for wedding dresses!

The worst company ever! After 1 month they sent my package providing an invalid tracking number in the form LT***. After 4 days tracking number still not recognized. They reply once once per 24 hours and refuse to even tell me the postal carrier they have used! I think my 300 euro are probably lost as i have a deadline to receive my package the coming week as promised by the site. For my fiance and her wedding gown... I am scared that ever when i receive this the quality will not match the photos on their website. I am stuck and do not know waht to do as i was promised on time delivery 4-8 working days!

UPDATE:

After 3-4 weeks of processing and 1 week of shipping without any valid tracking number i received an SMS by local DHL for delivery. Fortunately they had my mobile phone correctly. I received a 2.9KG package which i opened later that afternoon. The wedding dress was AMAZING! It was as seen in the pictures and even better and sizing was perfect. The quality of the fabrics, the stitching and overall quality and looks surpassed any fears we had. Everybody who saw it the weekend loved it and only some minor adjustments will be done but that is personal taste only. The wedding dress could be worn as it is. Moreover i was charged taxes which raised to half the price i payed for the total order but fortunately i have payed for the Duty and Tax insurance so after putting a ticket and 1 working day, i was refunded to my paypal account, as i asked!

In the end i am very glad to have made the leap of faith and made the order as i would have payed 5 times the same amount just for renting for one day, despite the mediocre reviews. It took a week more and a lot of anxiety from my part due to lack of time but it payed off.

Light In The Box Kann tats?chlich eine Schatzkiste sein!

Ich habe wurde schon ein paar mal sehr positiv ?berrascht. Zuerst dachte ich, es sei billiger Plunder. Doch der Schein tr?gt. Nat?rlich kann man auch daneben greifen, was mir auch schon passiert ist. Es ist halt eben doch nich alles Gold, was gl?nzt. Wenn man aber gewissenhaft sucht und den Kopf beim einkaufen einschaltet und dazu nicht alles blau?ugig glaubt, findet man hin und wieder Top Produkt zum kleinen Preis. Wenn man mit der Erwartung kommt ein Produkt zu kaufen, dass Regul?r 2/3000 kostet und man es f?r ein paar Kr?ten erwibt, muss damit rechnen, dass es nichts taugt.
F?r kleinere Bauteile und Verbrauchsmaterial nutze ich nur noch LightInTheBox. Hier ist es wirklich rentabel und kostet meist nur 1/5 von dem, was ich hier in Europa finde. Sogar Hornbach und Obi verkauft Produkte, die ich hier fand. Gleiche Verpackung, gleicher Hersteller aber 6x teurer.
Ich nutze LightInTheBox gerne und werde es in Zukunft auch weiterhin nutzen.

I've been pleasantly surprised a few times. At first I thought it was cheap junk. But appearances are deceptive. Of course, you can also go wrong, which has already happened to me. All that glitters is not gold after all.
But if you search conscientiously and turn your brain on when shopping and don't naively believe everything, you will occasionally find a top product at a low price. If you expect to buy a product that normally costs 2/3000 and you can buy it for a few bucks, you have to reckon with the fact that it's no good.
For smaller components and consumables I only use LightInTheBox. It's really profitable here and usually only costs 1/5 of what I find here in Europe. Even Hornbach and Obi sell products I found here. Same packaging, same manufacturer but 6x more expensive. I enjoy using LightInTheBox and will continue to use it in the future.

Light In The Box Received the package in The Netherlands after a week

Received the package in The Netherlands after a week or so. Very happy with the way it was boxed and the package was complete. The customer service has been great too. I ordered a black IP Cam and immediately after ordering it I wanted to change it to white so I had a chat with someone from the after-sales team. They were very responsive and helpful. I made a ticket and was told that I could simply apply for a RMA and send the black camera back. After doing some thinking, I decided to keep the black camera. At the beginning I had some issues to view the camera. I followed all the steps from the manual, which is quite easy to read. However I got stuck on the P2P ID Finder software. The software recognized my internet settings but it didn't find the camera. This was very frustrating for me as I am quite tech savvy and couldn't figure out what the issue was. I decided to skip this software and try it on my Android phone. I downloaded the software and after clicking on search, it found my IP Cam. The IP that was shown in P2P ID Finder didn't correspond with the IP that the camera was on, that's why it didn't find anything. Having the correct IP in hands now via the Android app, I was able to reach the camera via my browser and set it up correctly. I have it now working on my browser (IE and Chrome), Android, iPad (iOS7) and even from outside my home network (from work) after doing some port forwarding. The image quality is not very sharp, but for 31 euros (total price) I am very happy with it. The only thing I can remark is that the audio from camera to other device is VERY low. From device to camera it's pretty decent. I guess we will be buying a separate audio baby monitor and just use the camera for the video. All in all, I surely recommend this camera and the services from Light in the box. Cheers, Albert

Light In The Box Amazing prices, outstanding quality and great serviceh

As a brief intro, I've shopped on Lightinthebox for just around 5 years now. I am extremely petite and it is quite difficult to find clothes that fit off the rack, or online. Being this small, I always order by my measurements online, not by the sizes listed on each site. To that end, Lightinthebox is great, every clothing listing has a chart of US vs. European vs. listed size (with conversions into inches and centimeters). Once you do figure out your size on LITB it should stay fairly consistent. If you're used to shopping in the US or Europe be warned that Asian sizes are substantially smaller. For instance in the US I wear a 0 or a 2 in petite clothing, but my size can range up to a 6 depending where I'm shopping. On LITB, I am generally a S or XS but depending on the item, but might order an M or L to fit my actual measurements. The site now has a lot more PLUS sizing, so I presume the average American size 10 or 12 might be an XL or higher depending on the item.

The other item new shoppers should be aware the of is shipping time. It is likely going to take longer that you expect so if you are on a tight deadline, double check to see if the item can even make it. Items ship from China and before delete very, have to go through customs. I've received have packages in as little as 10 days, but I've had some take a bit over a month too. I generally use Super Saver shipping or Express, which LITB covers on certain specials, so I save a lot. I get an email confirming order placement, another when items have shipped (or, rarely, backordered) and any others indicating items that have shipped separately. Anything that is straggling can be checked on the LITB site.

I have never had to file a complaint with customer service, so I am not in a place to review those practices and policies, but my other experiences lead mee to believe that any problems would be handled promptly and professionally.

I am very glad that I can share the information about this shop, communications with operators on online chat and an overall assessment of the transport and packaging of the phone. Lightinthebox.com shop, I found thanks to compare prices of products throughout the world, and I found this shop directly from 38 other echop that offers mobile phones of this type. Maximum'm happy because lightinthebox.com, offers goods at the best prices in the world, and nowhere else, I did not get as much information from the staff shop only here! The order was processed and shipped immediately even though it was a weekend, such a deployment I see really only in China, where they value each customer and again I appreciate their efforts and I will continue to buy in this shop. Light In The Box I made several orders

First order - goods not available for delivery! Cancelled, got refund and made a new order!
4 pairs of earings EVERY PAIR was only 1 EARING! Even though it clearly stated in the description 2 pcs!
Totally disappointed and after many exchanged emails with customer department and reviews got 1.7 EUR refund from order over 29 EUR!
Atrocious and extremely bad managed scamming company, would never recommend and highly advice to anyone DO NOT USE THIS SELLER!

Light In The Box Constant harassment by pop ups from light in the box company!!!

I was a customer of light in the box I bought allot of items some where good items i purchased others not so good now that i no longer want to buy anything from this company I'm constantly being bombarded with there company ads that's the only ads i get is from light in the box so sick of making complaints to googles and reporting them as google has done nothing to stop the pop ups I'm constantly getting If you are reading this GOOGLE then stop light in the box from harrasing me with there annoying ads thank you !

Light In The Box LightInTheBox (LITB) Sweatshirt Review: Quality and Delivery Caution

I've recently purchased a sweatshirt from LightInTheBox (LITB) and initially posted a two-line review expressing my distaste for the product, but they did not publish it. So, I've decided to write a more detailed review online so that other buyers can read it before making a similar purchase like mine.

The sweatshirt I purchased was advertised as a cotton garment, but upon receiving it, I found it to be mostly made of polyester. Although the item looked fantastic in the advertisement photos, it did not capture the actual product's cheap appearance in person. The design on the silky stretchy fabric seemed much flatter than in the advertisement and had none of the depth represented in the promo pictures.

Moreover, the color of the "brown" sweatshirt I ordered was nowhere near the same hue as advertised; instead, it had shades of purple and grey, including the cuffs and neckline, which were supposed to be beige. That made it look even more purple than brown as per the picture on the website. Besides, the sweatshirt did not possess the traditional ribbed fabric, as the waistband was of the same material as the rest of the body. While wearing it, I felt as if I ordered a knockoff version of an expensive designer sweatshirt that did not meet my expectations.

Lastly, I faced some delivery issues, as the tracking showed the package delivered on the 16th, but it reached me two days later. Moreover, LITB sent me an email saying there would be a 1-3 week delay in my order, causing me to worry and check their return policy. Speaking of which, all these companies have the same return policies; they advertise that the item is returnable, but if bought directly from their website, one cannot return it to the US address on the label. The package has to be sent back to China with all the custom duties and international shipping costs that are solely the customer's responsibility.

However, after checking out the shipping options, I decided to settle for the 40% refund and kept the sweatshirt, as the shipment charges for returning the package to China would have been costly. The whole process was time-consuming and disheartening, and initially, I expected an expensive sweatshirt at around $25, but I wouldn't have paid more than $6 for the actual product.

That said, the company's customer support via chat was helpful in checking my order status and dealing with the shipment issues I was facing. As a tip for others, I would suggest buying items from LITB through Amazon as the latter stands behind your purchase and even offers a full refund if required.

Overall, I recommend potential buyers to browse through LITB's website with caution, considering the quality and delivery issues I’ve faced with the company's sweatshirt product. Despite that, they do offer some very appealing products that are not available elsewhere, so give it a shot if you're vigilant and up for some risk-taking.

Light In The Box Poor customer service and lack of trust- My experience with LightInTheBox

Hey there,

I recently had an experience with LightInTheBox that I have to share. I was pretty disappointed with their customer service, to be honest. When I reached out to them for help, I received a letter from one of their supervisors, Pinni, that had a really negative tone. I thought it was pretty unprofessional of them to speak to a customer like that.

I provided them with information about an issue I had with the delivery of my watch. But even though I was sure that the information I gave them was correct, they insisted that it wasn't. It was frustrating to deal with a company that didn't trust what I was telling them, and it made me feel like they didn't care about providing good customer service.

As it turns out, my information was correct. I received a letter from Alexander Morris at UPS in Sweden that confirmed that they had failed to deliver my package in a timely manner. UPS also delivered it to the wrong address and the packaging wasn't adequate to protect my watch, which arrived broken. All of this was confirmed in writing, so I'm not sure why LightInTheBox didn't believe me at first.

It's really disappointing that LightInTheBox didn't take responsibility for these mistakes and offer me compensation for the broken product and their poor customer service. It's pretty clear to me that they don't value their customers very much. I think it's important for businesses to admit when they've made a mistake and take steps to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, LightInTheBox didn't do that in my case, and I was left feeling pretty dissatisfied with my experience.

I hope that LightInTheBox can work on improving their communication with customers and providing better customer service moving forward. It's frustrating to deal with a business that doesn't seem to care about its customers, and I hope they can turn things around. Thanks for reading my review.

Light In The Box Disappointed with LightInTheBox.com: Poor Customer Service and Communication

I ordered two dresses from LightInTheBox.com, one in two different sizes, for around $250. I was hesitant at first since I had heard mixed reviews from my friends. However, I wasn't able to find a similar style of dress anywhere else so I decided to give it a try. I needed the dress for an important event and decided to opt for expedited shipping. After placing the order on April 1st, I saw that the estimated delivery date was April 5th. However, after receiving the confirmation email, the estimated arrival window had changed to April 11th through the 22nd.

I was displeased about the change and submitted a ticket to support to inquire about the delay. They informed me that my order was being processed and would be shipped no later than April 11th. They also stated that the total delivery time would consist of processing and shipping time. I had assumed that the delivery date meant I would receive the dress by that specific date, rather than shipping it. At this point, I was annoyed and requested for cancellation, which they declined as it was past 24 hours. They then explained that there would be a 50% handling fee for cancelling as they had already begun processing the order.

It is now May 5th and my order is still processing, although the dress is a made-to-measure type and not made-to-order, which made me question why there would be a handling fee for cancellations. I opened several more tickets to ask not to cancel my order, having believed that I would receive a full refund if the dresses didn't fit and needed to be returned. Although after receiving a response from my third ticket, they did not confirm anything I asked and only informed me that they would continue processing my order. I was concerned that this could be a scam, as it had been a month of waiting for a dress that was supposed to have expedited shipping. I messaged the customer service again, and they apologized for the delay, stating that the supplier was facing lockdown measures and couldn't resume working on the dress. They also offered compensation of 40% rewards for future purchases or a 30% cashback refund, which I found humiliating.

At this point, I was angry and frustrated. I felt like I was cheated out of hard-earned money. I purchased this dress for a particular event, and the company failed to deliver it. They didn't offer me a full refund for my expedited shipping and have now given me a weak 30% cashback as compensation. I hope that at least someone from customer service reads this review and compensates me since it's a lot of money for me.

I am truly sympathetic to the Covid lockdowns creating supply chain issues, but the company's failure to communicate with me and their suppliers is unacceptable. I took a chance with this company, feeling skeptical, and now I wish I never bought from them in the first place. The only way for this company to redeem themselves and gain my trust back is by providing better customer service, such as providing me with a full refund for the cancellation, or confirming the return policy, and offering to pay for the shipping in case both dresses don't fit.

In conclusion, I was disappointed with LightInTheBox's customer service and communication. $250 is a lot of money, and I think they could do better than a disappointing 30% cashback as compensation. I hope that in the future, they will improve their customer service to avoid situations like mine.

Light In The Box Disappointing Experience with LightInTheBox: Potentially Fake MP4 Player and Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased an MP4 music player from LightInTheBox and was disappointed to discover that it may be a fake. Upon further inspection, I found that the item was extremely light and the camera quality was poor. Moreover, the touch screen was unresponsive. However, my experience with LightInTheBox customer service representative, Simon, was not any better.

During my chat with Simon, I demanded answers as to why the item in question seemed fake and received very little in the way of explanation. Simon only stated that all of their products are new and made in China. When I asked why the items were so cheap, Simon stated that they had the "best way" of getting low priced goods. When I pressed for more information, Simon only replied that it was a "secret." This lack of transparency only fueled my suspicions that there may be something fraudulent going on.

As a consumer, I have the right to know where my goods come from and whether or not they are authentic. Simon's lack of cooperation only strengthened my belief that LightInTheBox may not be a trustworthy source for purchasing goods. The refusal to divulge information and the evasiveness was unacceptable. Additionally, Simon seemed to misunderstand my concerns, as he suggested that I buy a smaller item to check the quality. I was not interested in purchasing another item from a company that had already sold me a potentially fake product.

Overall, I was quite unsatisfied with my experience with LightInTheBox and their customer service representative, Simon. The lack of transparency and unwillingness to provide clear answers leads me to question the legitimacy of their business. I would not recommend purchasing from them until they become more forthright with their customers.

Light In The Box LightInTheBox: A Chinese wholesaler of cheap products with imitations and claims of high quality

This online shopping destination, LightInTheBox, is a website that sells products that are openly identified as imitations and close copies without fake branding, manufactured and distributed from China. Unlike the illegal fakers and sellers of phony designer goods, the goods sold on this website are not represented as genuine designer brands.

While most of the products are not likely to be confused with quality products manufactured in the West, they do not attempt to mislead potential buyers. However, manufacturers on this website may mislead customers in their product descriptions. For example, a 20-megapixel webcam or a 6000-watt stereo system may not be as good as advertised, so it is necessary to do some research before purchasing.

The webcam's sensor may not be of good quality, and a USB connection couldn't handle 20-megapixel resolution anyway. Meanwhile, the 6000-watt hi-fi's output quoted is PMPO, which stands for "peak music power output." Most far-Eastern sites will not accept returns, or they will suggest that the customer pays the return shipping fees, which can be rather expensive.

In conclusion, LightInTheBox can be compared to buying off a total stranger in a bar instead of purchasing over the counter at a store. Buyers must be cautious and understand the risks involved. The website offers cheap products that may be of subpar quality; however, if buyers enter with low expectations, they have a better chance of not getting ripped off.

Light In The Box Lightinthebox.com Review: Poor Customer Service & Quality, Avoid at All Costs

Lightinthebox.com has an unimpressive reputation when it comes to customer service, as there is no easy way to communicate with them and they seem to avoid addressing customer concerns. While there is someone monitoring the site, they are not helpful and seem to just prolong the resolution process. Return addresses are difficult to obtain as well, with customers being told to have no discussion with the company and buy tracking, proof of delivery, and insurance. The address they finally give is very lengthy and includes unnecessary information, making it almost impossible to use on a standard shipping label. Some customers have had even worse experiences, with their packages being refused after being sent to the supposedly correct address.

When it comes to sizing, Lightinthebox.com automatically blames the customer, even though their sizing chart is often inaccurate. Their quality is also consistent with the quality of products made in communist sweatshops - unsurprising, as China is a communist country. They stack order numbers, which makes resolving issues more complicated, and they don't even acknowledge or use order numbers.

Trying to resolve problems through customer service can be frustrating, as the emails are vague and unhelpful, and they never seem to offer a satisfactory solution. They hope to distract customers with the prospect of 10% discount codes to be used on larger orders, which can be tempting for some. Others wait months for refunds, but roadblocks and delays seem to be the norm. Lightinthebox.com blocks their customers' emails and has no working chat option on their website, so customers are left with no choice but to try to communicate through the ticketing system. Unfortunately, this system doesn't seem to work either, as open tickets are often closed without resolution.

Overall, Lightinthebox.com's customer service is subpar, and their products are of questionable quality. It's best to avoid them altogether and look for a more reliable eCommerce site.

I have been trying to obtain a refund everyday for the last week. They tell you to fill out the contact us and inform them of the reason why you are returning. after completing the form they say the will send a email in 24 hours. I have sent at least 5-7 refund messages and have yet to hear back. my order has not been shipped so they can’t use the excuse if saying it was shipped already. Scam company do not buy from them!

Company sent me an item which I did not order as part of a suspected scam: no seller information was on the package, I had to find out who the seller was through the parcel delivery company.

My card was charged by some sort of clothing company and I received an email with a tracking number - when that tracking number was marked as delivered I had received a package with a random piece of jewelry which I did not order. There was no company information on the package, I had to contact the parcel delivery service with the seller reference number to find out the seller name and it was Light in the Box, which I had never heard of.

I want to return a jacket but am having no luck in finding a return address. Today is Nov. 29, but I have been trying to get a return address for many days.

It was ordered on Oct. 25th on Paypal with the number LITB4029357733. When the jacket arrived we were in Wisconsin, so we did not open the package for several days. When we did open the package, my wife (for whom the jacket was for) said that she did not care for it. Since then I have been trying to get hold of you so that I can get an address in which I can return the jacket. I really feel that your computer information for people like me who are not tech individuals is very challenging. All I want is a return address so that the jacket can be returned, and that I can get my refund. It should be very simple, but I have found out that for me it has not been easy. Please take care of this issue. Thank you.

Two out of the three items purchased were the wrong size (one did not even have a Size Tag).

Although LITBx did provide feedback when I filed a Ticket for Refund or Exchange for the two items, it took three iterations of back and forth emails to get a return address from them.

This Return Address was in China. Shipping the items back to this address from Canada, using the cheapest method, cost more than what was paid for the items. This cost is prohibitive.

Now I'm stuck with items I cannot use or return unless I pay double the price for them.

The ethical action to take by a company focused on Customer Service and Quality of merchandise sold, is to send another set of items, same Style and Color but in size 3XL, at no cost to the customer.

Customer contact information is on file at LITBx. and a ticket has been opened.

Light In The Box Still waiting my £160 refund they promised

Bought a dress with matching coat which cost £160. Item turned up damaged cotton frayed on seems and too small . Speaking to customer service is horrendous they take over a day to answer. Firstly they told me my refund would be in my account in 2 working days which has not happed. I am still trying to request my refund and it been over a week! disgusting company do not use

Light In The Box Top nothing like photo, can't upload and complete return request.

Top arrived nothing like the photo which showed a lovely sparkly solid silver top. Instead it was a flat multicoloured top, so filled out a return request - won't upload the photos , just keeps spiralling around- can't find any help on website

ALL garments bare NO resemblance to the photos including colors and are too large

they are made from poor, thin, substandard materials , they are NOT sweatshirt material

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!I ordered what looked like a well cut cardigan/ jacket. It arrived and has an 80s style bagginess and is totally shapeless. I read the return policy before odering and was satisfied. I have since tried to start a return and am asked to download the app in order to start this return, the problem is that I am already in their APP! I have now spent so much time on this with no result that I am fumming! They obviously have no intention on returning a customer's money if they are not happy! I repeat DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Light In The Box Returns/refunds

My husband had ordered some polo shirts form here which are very good quality for the price, so I took a chance and I ordered three dresses, two of which have arrived, they are cheap material and on one of them the sleeves are really ragged edges and the underskirt (can be seen through lace) is way shorter than it was on the original picture i.e. knee length rather than ankle length. These were for a very formal occasion so will not do at all. The order number is [protected], but there is no option to request a refund when I go into the items the only options available are:

Light In The Box Customer service returns

I ordered a fancy dress outfit on the 27th September 2023 it said it would be delivered within 7 days. After 2 weeks I emailed and asked to cancel the order and was told it had apparently just been shipped so I couldn't cancel. It finally arrived on the 22nd October 10 days too late for the party I wanted to wear it at. I now have been told that I HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURNING IT or except 20% refund. THIS COMPANY IS A HUGE CON, AVOID. I can understand if I ordered the wrong size but they to nearly 4 weeks to deliver it! I want a full refund and postage paid to teturn it.

Light In The Box Compliance and Product quality

We ordered one pendant assuming they are selling products in Australia so should be compliant with Aus standards but the electrician refused to connect it saying it is missing the transformer and has associated safety risks. We attempted to contact CS team and provided concerns but the CS representative keep asking for missing transformer photo or damaged product photos. We requested compliance certification or organise a return/ exchange for which we haven't heard anything yet.

Light In The Box Customer Service and Shipping

I paid an extra $21.50 for "expedited shipping" so that my order would be received within 3 - 5 days. I placed the order on 10/17 and need to receive it by 10/26 for a party, which is why I paid the extra to guarantee delivery in time. Today is 10/24, 5 Business Days from when I placed the order and it is still across the country with an expected delivery date of 10/30! Now my costume is ruined, I have to run around looking for an appropriate dress and I paid for expedited shipping for no reason! The worst part is, you cannot find a phone number anywhere to contact the company. What a horrible experience; never again...

I've been trying to return an item all day I said I forgot my password and they've given me a pass code about a dozen times ,every time I tap it in its says wrong password or email..It's. nearly 12.30 really fed up all I want is a returns label to send this item back.

I cancelled an order the very day I put in the order as I realised it was unlikely to be received in time for an event. I was assured it was cancelled. I then got notification that it was to be shipped, I contacted them to remind them that this had been cancelled, they said I was right. Yet it was delivered (too late as expected), I therefore contacted them and was first told it was a non returnable item. Eventually they said I could return it but would have to pay the postage. This. was some time ago, I now have notification that I can no longer delay payment for the item, via Klarna, and have to pay tomorrow, for an item I no longer have

I bought this item on the 18th of September and it said it was due on the 29th but still hasn’t yet arrived! I bought it as a birthday present! It also does not give me updates when it states it can track the time through Royal Mail. I click on the tracking website and it says it cannot be reached making me think it’s a scam:( now I’m left without a present for my bf and a late one at that:((

Light In The Box Men clothing

I bought a shirt from LightInThebox.com.The shirt liked very good in their illustration. On arrival I found out the item was of low quality and not like the one advertised. It appeared that the supplier use photoshop to illustrate the product rather than taking a picture of the garment. I asked that I return the product and have full refund. They offered partial refund which I did not accept. The supplier wrote back saying they can not issue for a return label and posting could take as long as 20-30. To ensure that the product reach them I had to incur postage stamp with with tracking and registered delivery to have as proof of posting in case they deny receiving the item. At the end I had to accept their partial refund. Please see attached the photoshopped garment against the actual item received.
