Would not recommend4 years in a row

I did my taxes on Liberty Tax this year, and they failed to supply a copy of my return. I am now unable to log in to retrieve it because there does not seem to be a place to log in. Customer support is only by email, and so far they have failed to respond. No one on the phone knows how I can find the log-in page. I have received conflicting information from "support" people. ... They stole my refunds 4 years n a row federal and state and I was left to think I had offsets while the 4 different locations did the same thing in south Los Angeles

I have been going to Liberty Tax Service for my income taxes for about 3 years. The locations, that I go to seem to disappear & I have to find hunt for another one in my area. This year, I received a letter from Dept. of Revenue in Frankfort KY which said that the amount of est. tax and/or credit from previous year claimed on my return does not agree with their records. So, they said that I owe almost $2,000 dollars. When I called the office today that I delt with, I was told that THEY had closed and there are not any offices in my area any longer! There used to be 2 or 3 of them. I give up. I'll have to find a different tax service now. I consider this very unprofessional & I'm really disgusted especially since they made an error on my return! I would NOT recommend Liberty Tax.

I have started my tax return and have not been able to get any feed back on completing my tax return for the 2022 tax year and would like to resolve it as soon as possible. I continue to bring my service to Liberty because of the good customer service that is provided. I need to complete my tax return as soon as possible. Liberty has always gone above and beyond for myself and my family by helping me to complete my tax return on time.

Called liberty Tax to try virtual taxes I normally go into an office. Should have known it was to go to be true. So I uploaded my tax information to the site 4/15. I spoke with the you lady a few times to add more information. Oh by the way my when I was phoned my caller ID read "DOLLR GENERAL". So was this young lady performing Liberty Tax business from a dollar store phone. We owed money provide her with the fee for services. But on 4/20 got a text message that my husband need a IRS pin 4/20 got pin completed SILENCE. I knew taxes were going to be late but OK I paid the fee then SILENCE. Life happened so I went to my liberty tax site to follow up 5/1 "IRS rejected filing" informed virtual tax person. "Oh let me see what the issue is" SILENCE. If I pay for a service I expect customer services and completion of that services once paid.

I no longer wanted to speak with this young lady and requested a supervisor 5/24 guess what I was told "I'll send a message ".I called the 800 number to get a supervisor on the line and go to a local office . NOTHING but the vocie message response was " Tax season is over and the office are closed for vacation. It's now 5/30.

I was able to connect with a local office and an manager who answered the pone. Guess what SILENCE...

Liberty tax stoled $100 for me they double charged me and that only did they do that they charged extra they did my friend John that way too I have all the paperwork and proof from the IRS because I owed back child support and I finished paying that off so I have all that on record. The bank and irs show that Liberty Tax they never gave it to me they were supposed to charge me $700 they charge me 1400 dollars. They didn't think I would catch them. They did my friend John the same way and I just want my money back. That or they will be pay twice as much cause I would get a shark lawer and take them to court. They would be paying for in the end.i promise .I sent just a picture of what should have been taking out. Not 1400. Please I have tons of proof papers from irs. Too

Ok, so on January 30th, 2023 I sent my info to the Hannibal, Missouri location because I have done my taxes with them for the last 7yrs or so. Well, they needed to have some more information to be able to complete it. Which I was waiting for the app to make it available. On Feb. 8th I sent the info they needed. And I have called a hundred times. Keep getting excuses and delays. Joe and Steven both say they will call me back but I never get a call back. I call in and Steven says he's going to call me back after he is done with the client he is with... This was Feb24 around 10am. Here it is Feb. 24th 2023 1:49pm and still haven't heard back. Y am I being treated this way? So because I did it remote option I get put on the back burner! I have been needing my taxes in March. Currently am not working. I have 4 children and utilities are about to be discounted and I still haven't been able to pay my rent and it's almost march. This is the last year I will be doing business with liberty taxes. It shouldn't take days to figure my taxes out!

I was told that we had a $1600.00 tax refund coming from the IRS by our tax preparer. She even took a voided check from us to e-file with the IRS. Two months later the IRS sent a letter saying we were delinquent on our tax payment and demanded $1600.00. The Liberty offices are always closed, and they refuse to return my calls when I leave a message. I want to know why they claim I had a return coming while the IRS says we owe money.

On Wednesday May 18,2022. I arrived to my appointment with miss Jessica Perez at the Liberty office in 1985 E. Florence ave.in Huntington Park to go over my tax preparation, I asked miss Perez how much this would cost me, her response to this was not to worrie it shouldn’t be no more than $250 since I was been referred by a good friend of hers that I was in good hands. Good hands alright the total tax preparation came to a total of $750 oh mind me she gave me a discount $243 well this whole ordeal grand total came to $567 I told her this is totally outrageous straight rip off, and this was a simple short tax preparation, by now they had moved from locations to South Gate we’re I spoke to the manager there that refuse to give me her name and to make matter worst it took them 3 debits cards to send me cause for some odd reason I couldn’t not do any withdrawals with DEEPBLUE debit cards which is issue by Republic Bank. I will never ever go with Liberty. They sure took the Liberty to way over charge me. Total Ripoff.

I have been going to liberty tax to do my taxes for years and normally I go to the same person and I made the mistake of going to a new person this year since I moved and the completely messed up my taxes then didn't send in correctly then made it to where I had to amend them and after all that waited 3 weeks to send in the amended taxes after several calls and emails drop me to them asking about them. I don't see how someone can charge for services they did not do. Her excuses have been "a glitch in the system" my system wouldn't allow it ext. Now I have been a loyal costume and contuine to use your services for this to happen to me and to be charged to be lied to and wait several months to have what should have happened from the start! I am very disappointed I have even sent yall referrals I'm the past years but with this experience I am very upset and can't say that if something doesn't get done about this that I won't take this further!

I had my taxes on the last day I made @545 appointment It took her untill 715 to see me first

She said I would get a email, docusign.

I got that email @10:57 pm.

I couldn't access the information to sign it. I tried to call no answer. I had to wait untill Thursday to get a someone a office, Micheal and he tells me she canceled this or what he not sure. They didn't have my bank account info why? And he sent me invoice saying the service to take my fees out is not available? I have a hard time believing that is true!

I don't have 350 bucks that almost half my paycheckI.

I would filed myself and taken the fees to be late.

So now the only way I get my taxes finished is pay 350 dollars ? I been using liberty for years. I stopped using several years ago cause of nonsense.

I used them last year it a-ok!

Roxanne was by herself on the last day tax were due , that's dumbest last day planning i ever seen.

I want this fixed! this is not right!

Why is the location 1555 State Route 436 Suite 1031, Winter Park, FL 32792:

1. Never picking up phones.

2. Never calling back.

3. Never emailing me back.

I have indicated a very tight timeline. If there is not a modicum of customer service to be offered to a customer of over eight years, perhaps next year, I will try someone different.

I filed my taxes through Liberty Tax service on 1-24-22. After 3 months and no return I was looking at return and discovered the social security number on w2 was not mine. I contacted employer and got corrected w2. Took w2 to the tax office to be informed that there was nothing they could do. And. Nothing I could do. I called customer service just to listen to this person ,wouldn't let me say anything, and was very rude she informed me that because I didn't go in the office and tell them I needed them to file an amended return they didn't know what I wanted. And they are getting paid 421 for all of this "professional help". I have got the biggest run around and have used liberty several tears. Never again.

I was waiting over 2 hours just to get my taxes done because there werent any employees working. The only one at the store was the manager and he assured everyone waiting that we would get a 20% discount off our tax preparation because of the wait. I did not receive any discount. I was charged a total of $421.34 for my taxes. Which is far too much. Then I filed on the 17th of february I was told it was accepted that day by the irs. But when I check the refund website a week later, they said it had not been received yet. I been calling but no one answers the phone. I was given the manager # rickey a the ws nc store after speaking with him 2 week later he assured me that everything was fine. I still haven't received my taxes. I spoke with rickey today 3/8/22 @10:25am he told me to give him my name and ss last 4 digits and that he would look up my info can call me back in 10min it's been 3hrs and I keep trying to call the office and his cell, but he keeps forwarding me to voicemail. I went to the office and the other employees were very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. When I asked if I could speak with the manager rickey they told me he wasn't available so I asked if there was there another supervisor I could speak with or a number I could call to complain and they told me to leave and that rickey would get in contact with me when he could. I think liberty tax is a lying scamming company they dont care about there customers at all they are only out for they money

I had my 2019 taxes done in the Las Vegas office, or at least one of them, over the summer. I never recieved my refund and when I inquired about this to the IRS they had no record of me filing taxes. I paid money to a profeesional to take care of this for me and it only caused more stress. I actually let it go and just told anyone that would listen to never go to Liberty Tax because they steal your money and don't even do your taxes right until I got a call today from someone reminding me that tax season was here and I should consider coming in to get my 2020 taxes done at Liberty Tax. I told the lady my situation and how my money was stolen from me by Liberty Tax and she put me on the phone with her manager, Manuel, who was incredibly rude, called me a liar, and hung up on me. I just wanted to register my complaint. Maybe at least I can get my $100 back and I can go somewhere that will actually properly file my taxes.
