I buy 501 & 505 Levi’s and one ripped when I bent down on front inseam or right rear. No problem, I thought it was old. I bought 4 more and 2 ripped right away. No problem, but I started thinking that maybe the quality and inflation was causing them to have cheaper fabric for cost cutting. Well, then I noticed a lot of people on this site are having same issues. Levi must know that they are creating garbage and they are literally RIPPING us off. I have pictures !

I bought my jeans in January 2023 I have only worn them 4 times today they are torn. This is my third Levies jean that does this on the same place. I thought the first two were just wear and tear however my current jeans are still new. Am so disappointed as am currently in the office working and my jeans are torn. I don't even know what to do as I cant even go to the mall to buy new ones. my underwear is showing. I bought the jeans on sale for R899 and they didn't even last a year.

I am a long time wearer of LS jeans. I am not sure how the price went from $40 to $100. Not sure what was improved or how expensive indigo has become. If I am spending $100 large of a pair of jeans, I have high expectations that the sizes printed on the pants are accurate. I think its unfair that I have 2 pair of 505's 30 by 30, and one is tight and one is very loose. What gives here?

I have purchased a pant around 12 months ago on a very expensive price. I always prefere quality instead of quantity. I use this pant around six months ago and after 2 -3 washes it's color gets bleed and it's appearance became so horrible. I have contacted the outlet in Karachi Pakistan from where I have purchased but they are unable to address my problem nor ready to compensate.

Being a customer it's my right to claim for the damage of my pant and the inconvenience I have faced. It is therefore requested to please look into this and advice for further as I don't want to switch from Levi's.

Your prompt response in this regard would be highly appreciated.

I have purchased my husband several pairs of these jeans and after 2 washes they rip at the back pocket seam. I can't figure out for the life of me this is happening! Is this normal? We purchase at least 5 pair a year and they all have the same problem. I will continue to purchase them as he loves the brand and won't wear any other type of jeans. Please Help Me! Any information or help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, please accept my thanks in advance. I'm sending photos as to where the problem location is.

I've purchased Levis Jeans for decades and never had the quality issues I've seen in the past 2-3 years. A pair of Jeans used to last at least 1 year of hard wear, now if they last a month of easy wear, I'm doing good. I don't like the fact that I can't find unwashed jeans, they were much heavier material than what I can purchase now, the "stone washed", bullcrap that's all I can find. 2 pairs ripped parallel to the zipper, 2 pair ripped parallel to the rear pockets as others have said. I'll go with another brand if you can't give me satisfaction.

The last 3 pair of 505 jeans I bought have all teared in the same place (left crotch by the zipper). The picture attached shows it just starting to rip. The last two pair of jeans started the same way and continues to rip until you can't ware them anymore. It will continue to about six to eight inches. I have worn Levi jeans for about 45 years and this has never happened.

I bought a pair of your jeans, my local Walmart. I have been wearing Levi jeans since I was 14. Im going to be 70 on my birthday in December. These jeans do not fit properly. They keep sliding to the left making the seam for my butt sideways and on my left butt cheek. They look stupid and feel very uncomfortable. I cannot wear them nor can I return them as I have tried to wear them a few times. TOTAL GARBAGE! I am extremely disappointed cause at my age and income it is considered a treat and something special to spend that kind of money on a garment.

Same problem as everyone else on this thread. Been wearing Levis my whole life. I am 66 years old. Never had a problem until about a year ago. The last 8 pairs of jeans have ripped identically at the back pocket. I am a size 34 and have no abnormalities in the area that rips. I might get to the point of bringing an extra pair of jeans in the truck for emergencies. I will continue to purchase Levis, but if it continues, I will be forced (I not the kind of guy who like changes), to try something else. This is not working.

I am writing to you reference the poor quality I have received with your product the past 4-6 pairs of Levi 550's blue jeans I have purchased. The quality is terrible and someone from Levi needs to investigate immediately, especially at a cost of between 65-85 dollars per pair.. These jeans tear or rip on the sides and by the pockets within a few weeks. I have not had a pair in the last year that has made it past 6 months. In the past I could go years before I even got a tiny hole much less a a tear like these past pairs of jeans. So to net it out , is there something Levi can do to help me or an address I can return a few pairs for credit or new jeans? If not, I will be leaving Levi and going to a competitor to see if they have better quality than Levi. I can send pictures or return the jeans if you like. My cell is [protected].

I bought 2 pairs of levi 505 jeans at Mark's in Canada in mid 2022.
Both jeans have split next to top of the back pockets. My partner repaired the first two splits. Now they have both split in a similar place on the other pocket.
I have never had problem with Levi jeans. I still use for dirty work three pairs that I purchased over ten years ago.
The damage to your reputation from this serious quality slippage is enormous.

I have purchased 5 pairs of 505 jeans over the last two years. Three of the jeans have had belt loops rip off within months of purchasing them with very little use.

I still have two of the three defective pairs (the other defective pair was thrown out).

One purchased at Kohl's for $64.34 on 7/16/2022.

The other pair was purchased at JC Penny for $53.92 on 5/12/2021.

I have been purchasing and wearing Levi jeans for over 50 years. Very disappointing. I guess it is time to find another jean manufacturer to buy my jeans from.

My husband bought a pair of Levi denim pants in December 2021. These were purchased at a Kohls department store for $72.00. He wears them to work occasionally approximately 3-4 times a month. He has a desk job and is 57 years old. Needless to say he is not doing anything in these pants that would make the inner inseam split entirely from the zipper down. Of course after a year we do not have a receipt as we thought Levi was a good brand and it was not necessary. We are extremely disappointed and will be looking to buy different brands from here on out. He has worn this brand most of his life and never had a problem until now. With the high price and lack of quality he is forced to look elsewhere for a reliable brand.

I purchase at least 4 pair each year ….I have since I was a teenager …I’m now 70 …..I’m throwing out jeans bearing worn because they tear at the back pocket ….it’s obvious why this is happening ….it’s a design problem at the pocket …..the hard ( sharp ) top of the pocket literally cuts the softer jean material….you can see it turn white as the threads are cut and then it rips ….I have been pre patching them to try to prevent this but eventually it rips …..I’m at the point where I can no longer afford to throw out perfectly good jeans with little wear …..it’s not because of my wallet ( front pocket ) nor a cel phone ( don’t have one )

I love the fit but I’m done ….

I purchased 2 pairs of these jeans. One pair ripped within a week of purchase down the left rear pocket toward the center. Now a few months later the other pair did the same thing. I wasn’t doing any deep squats or lifting anything heavy, in fact didn’t even notice the tear until tucking in my shirt and my hand came out the back of my pants. I was headed to a meeting…imagine if I had not discovered the rip! Otherwise the jeans are fine, they are not discolored or worn out anywhere.

I’m baffled by what has happened to this once great company where quality was a hallmark.

The fabric beside the left back pocket inside seam (toward the crotch) rips within 2 weeks of wear. This happened to two pairs I bought.

It happened to the first pair and I assumed I had accidentally pressed them against something sharp, or I had stuffed the pocket and stressed the fabric.

I was careful with the second pair after reading other complaints, but it happened again!

I’m through buying Levi’s jeans. That was an $80 mistake.

Hello, the size label has left an adhesive residue and darkened area on the rear side of right leg of jeans. This is the second pair this has happened to. Prior to my last 2 Levi's purchases, I never encountered this issue before.
Please advise on how to remove this without distressing the jeans and/or replace the item - repeated washing has not helped resolve this.

Purchased at Myer Maroochydore on Sunday 22 January.
