Kohl's Credit card

I always pay my balance off right away. For some reason $5.02 was remaining but my auto pay would pick it up... right? Wrong! Once I realized I had a $5.02 balance 35 days later -10 days after my due date I paid my bill. Too late Kohl's already reported it to the three credit bureaus. In my 30 years of having credit cards I have never been late or missed a payment. Now this $5.02 ding on my credit report will be with me for 7 years. If you have a Kohl's card - destroy it!

Kohl's - Kohl's credit card predatory and non ethical practices

As a person who is very concious of my credit score, EVERY single card I own is set to Autopay with either the entire balance paid off or a set amount with every statement. I rarely check my card statements each month knowing that the account is on Autopay. With that being said, this is the 3rd time Kohl's has cancelled my Autopay setting on my account...

Kohl's Online account/card registration

No reminder email before the late fees or interest charge. I received this email on 30th Nov, why dont you guys email me before the late fee and why 10 days after?

My due date is 11/21 for late fee and 11/24 for interest and I received a post mail at my address on Dec 1

When I register using my last name, date of birth and last 4 digits of sin, it doesn’t recognize me (check attached image). Why doesnt your system recognize my details?

I never received a credit card from kohl’s, every time i go to the store i have to login with my SSN details.

With all your persisting issues, how do you expect your customer to pay the bill on time? On top of that you keep adding late fees when your customer is struggling with these issues.

Claimed loss: 2 weeks of late notice and struggle to open an online account.

Kohl's Credit card

Kohl's cancelled my credit card for inactivity. I am angry about this because I have good credit. I moved to where the nearest store is an hour away. I like to look in person at the items I want to buy. I have bought several things from Kohl's recently and had to use another credit card but have missed out on benefits by not having my Kohl's charge card. This has not happened to me with any of my other credit cards.

Desired outcome: Reinstate credit card without hard credit inquiry. I don't want to be punished because Kohl's decided to cancel my card

Kohl's Bought braun coffee maker and they do not carry and claim cannot get new carafe

Bought 14- cup Braun coffee maker in spring 23. Carafe broken November 23. When I tried to get the part from Kohl's they only had one carafe and said it was for Braun coffee maker. When I received the part, wrong size. Tried to get Kohl's through their 'customer service' number, on hold over 10 minutes, they disconnected me. Tried again, informed me that they cannot get correct part and that it is up to me to keep checking website to see if it becomes available. That is their only solution.

Desired outcome: If they cannot provide a part for item they sell they should replace item with new coffee maker of equivalent value. All I really need is the carafe, but I cannot wait an undetermined time to have coffee again!

Bought product in spring 2023. Carafe was broken on [protected]. Went online to get a replacement carafe on that date, and was shipped a 12-cup carafe. Arrived on 11-13-2023, and does not fit. Contacted Braun via website, and they did not have a page that even listed that they make coffee makers. Through their messaging option, discovered 1. There is no replacement available from Braun for the 14-cup carafe 2. They referred me to the store where it was purchased for replacement. 3. Store informed me that the 'part' is unavailable and there is no alternative for the carafe. 4. Without the correct size, the coffee maker is useless.

Efforts to speak to a human at Braun failed. 'Chat' pretty much said you are s.o.l.

So, I am in possession of a relatively new, expensive coffee maker that is useless.

Kohl's Kohl's Coupons

Could not find an email address so am using this forum. I have been a loyal Kohl's customer since the Wood Village/Troutdale Oregon store opened. I was so excited to have one in the area. Then one opened in the Gateway Shopping Center. Much closer but smaller.

I have had so many people tell me that they don't shop there because the cannot find anything to buy. There are times I cannot find anything either but it's the same with any store, until now.

I realize the pandemic has changed how we do business across all platforms. But I continued to support Kohl's, using the online store option often. But now I can agree, there is very little to buy. And the last time I made a purchase of UnderArmor products I was disappointed that it was not available to use with the percent off coupon. Well OK, I don't buy that brand often. However I was more than disappointed when I discovered that Skecher's was also on the cannot be used with coupons list. I have multiple health issues, live on a fixed income and Skecher's is about the only brand of shoe I can consistently purchase that fit. I guess that has ended. There is no point in even trying to use the discount coupons as there are too many items that don't work with them.

I was a loyal customer partly because virtually everything in the store qualified for the coupons. No point now. Count me as a former loyal customer.

Desired outcome: Remove Skecher's from the doesn't qualify for discounts list.

Kohl's Requesting a statement, trouble understanding rep, no follow up on rep end

Last month I requested my paper statement for the last two months, 9/26, never received anything, I called weekly and was assured it was being taken .care of, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor who said he was out of Wisconsin but lived in Canada, I found him condescending and rude, first told me statement was emailed once I challenged him he said it was mailed out, he saw no notes of my many phone calls. I was given this referenced #9654642. I recd a follow up message asking what I thought of Kohls service which when I read the small print said no reads it and was unable to send at my end. I’ve been a loyal customer for yrs, shame on you

Desired outcome: A sincere apology and a number to call that the rep is able to understand and background noise isn’t kids screaming dogs barking or several conversations going on, very distracting

Kohl's Disapproved for a Kohl's credit card for no reason

I was refused a Kohl's credit card for the reason "Excessive obligations in relation to income." How come? I don't have any bills, I don't carry balances,

paid cash for both my condo and my car by making a distribution from my IRA account, and I pay all my bills by due date or sooner. According to Kohl's letter, my credit score is 860. If this isn't enough, what is it? I guess it's my age of being 72. Despite my age, I am independent and self-sufficient, with a high credit score. I am very disappointed.

Desired outcome: I want to be approved for Kohl's credit card despite my age. Along with an apology.

Kohl's Self service cashiers

Was just at your store, Boynton beach, Fla. to purchase some items. Was directed to the self serve area after being asked if I would pay cash or charge, I said charge. An associate assisted me, since I think it’s just the start of self service. However since I did not have my kohls charge was told I could not use another charge to get discount. I said I had my drivers license which I usually pull out instead of my kohls card. However this time was told had to go back to a register with a human to process. I decided not to go thru that process, just left without items!

I will not be using kohls any longer, because of this changeover and my experience!

Kohl's Sharing my information.

I received a bill and noticed that my information is being shared. It gave a phone # and website to contact to have this limited. I am allowed limited calls at work so I tried to handle on the website. I was on a chat and explained my situation. I was told I would be transferred to the department to take care of it. However, I was actually transferred to another site that wanted me to sign up for their services to do what I am requesting. Even though they they were generous to offer the first month at $5.00, I'm smart enough to know after that the real charge will start being deducted from the payment option I chose. I don't feel I should have to go through another company to simply have my information be held confidential. If this is such a big hassle, it will end up best that my husband and I both close our Kohl's account.

Kohl's Gender neutral dressing rooms

I have recently become aware that the dressing rooms at my local Kohl's are now gender neutral. I haven't shopped for clothes at Kohl's for a while and was unaware, until I asked, that the policy changed about a year ago. I have been a member of Kohl's for 20 years and frequently shop at a store conveniently located near my home (5 miles). I have a LOT of clothes from Kohl's.

I want to say that I will now be changing my shopping habits and will no longer be shopping at Kohl's. This policy of trying to be "inclusion" has in turn "excluded" others who hold opposing view points.

I could give you a list of why I disagree with your policy, but I don't think it will make a difference or persuade those on a corporate level. I am sure that I am not alone, however, that there are others who would agree with me and no longer shop at Kohl's.

Desired outcome: Reinstate policy of separate gender (sex) dressing rooms. Also reinstate separate children's and lingerie dressing rooms.

Kohl's Failure to assist at time of cashing out at store.

On Saturday 9/26/23 I visited Kohls in Brandon, FL., store was very busy, and sales associate was shuffling customers to the new self-checkout. There was no direction or assistance, I used my Kohls pay app. Total cost was $420.51.

On Sunday 9/27/23 I visited Kohls in Orlando, FL, store was not busy, and sales associate was very helpful. She told me that it was the last day for 40% off friends and family.

I am very upset, as I have been a long time Kohls customer, I am elderly and 40% off the purchase price in Brandon would have been extremely helpful to me.

Desired outcome: I have my receipt and would like some type of either discount or possibly additional Kohls Cash. This is unacceptable.

Kohl's Return

I am a grandmother with some money! Only charged for the extra savings...

I had a standing purchase date for my grandchildren at school time.

I had charged thousands years ago but could not remember why I chose to stop my purchasing at Kohls...today I remembered!

I was on the phone about 30 minutes today. Very easy problem. I had a delivery to me that should have been sent to my grandson in another state.

I remembered changing the address, but, I am older now and it could have been my mistake (I doubt it).

Took a while to settle on 1/2 shipping on a 3 day ship. She promised a "free ship" label too for my return, never got it.

Got off from the operator and checked my acct and I was charged full price for each item and full price for shipping...never got a $20 dollar coupon either. lol!

Check your account everyone!Welcome David ...(COO). Hope you can straighten things out. Diane...

Desired outcome: I just spent 45 dollars to overnight ship to my grandson...don't think I will see any of that money from you.

Kohl's Refunds

today I closed my account out after no satisfactory from the representative. In july my statement was 85.00, paid that in full, in july ordered clothing's from Kohl's about 223.00 and my August statement came in with a balanced of 179,00 which was due August 1st, that balanced was paid in full. After August 1st I purchased 77.41worth of clothing's, I returned all the clothing's back August 12th,they debited the clothing's I brought in July which brought that total down 163.00 plus the returned of 77.41 which gave me a returned total 244.00. I called the company today and the representative states I only have a 84.00 refund. Look i paid a total of 264.00 in cash and returned 244.00 of items which equal 508.00. I have no clothes and no money. I know nothing will probably come out of this, but the adding and subtraction not matching up

Kohl's Late charges

I have received a series of late charges plus interest on late charges. Local customer service removed some of the charges, but not all. I am a retired from Kohls employee as is my wife and have never over the years incurred a situation such as this. I spoke with Sabastion and his supervisor, both of whom spoke fast and was difficult to understand. The amount the complaint is $15.00 which we requested to have removed. This was refused and we closed our account after such poor customer service. In the years we worked for Kohls. the customer was a top priority. I am sorry the customer is no longer thought of in this way. I would like a response, My e-mail address is [protected]@aol.com.
