Kenmore refrigerator- I bought a fridge from you on 12/12/2018.

as of today, the defrost heater or fuse has failed and there are NO parts anywhere in this country to fix it.

I am outraged at the short life of this "durable good"

I understand the fridge was made by an Asian company and you just slapped the kenmore label on it.

I need to have this repaired - should not have to buy an new appliance after 5 years.

Kenmore Kenmore elite 72053 french door bottom-freezer refrigerator

Purchased the Fridge from Sears on 9/1/2013, along with 5 year extended service warranty. On July 23, 2023 fridge stopped working. Call Sears Home to set up appt, they told me it would be 3 weeks until they can get out to repair it. I told them that would not work, so I called a local appliance repair company (they are not associated with Sears). they came out July 24, 2023 and replaced the compressor on the fridge for $895.00 for parts and labor. The compressor does have a 10 year manufacturers waaranty on it. Called Sears on 7/28 to see how to get reimbursed for the compressor as it should be covered under warranty. Spent over 15 hours on numerous calls trying to get resolution. Today 8/21/23 they informed me that since I did not have a Sears technician fix the problem they will not reimburse me for the compressor replacement. They could not get out for 3 weeks, how can they expect someone to wait 3 weeks without a fridge

Kenmore Kenmore Elite Refrligerator

Kenmore Elite Refrigerator purchased 8/21/2018. 5 Year Service Agreement purchased as well.

Ice Maker and Water Line Malfunctioning.

The Repair was scheduled and has been cancelled 3 consecutive times.

The internet will not schedule a new appointment for me.

Please help me.

I have had a yearly maintenance check completed.

I have kept the appliance clean and have experienced no prior problems until the present, unresolved issue.

Kenmore Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

refrigerator had issue over the weekend with not keeping cool. Called Sears home to schedule appt. they said they were 3 weeks out, I cannot wait 3 weeks to get it fixed. Called another company to come out and fix the fridge. compressor was bad and was replaced. Cost was $895.00 total for parts and labor. Called Sears Home today and asked about the 10 year warranty on the compressor, and how do I get reimbursed for the compressor. they told me I nullified the warranty by going with someone else, David ID # 410024 was rude and basically told you are out of luck. I don't understand how Sears can expect customers who I have been one for many many years to wait 3 weeks with a working fridge. how do I get reimbursed for the service needed to make the fridge work?

Desired outcome: Reimburse for work done

Bought this refrigerator 5/20/2022, lower freezer leaking air and frosting up food in the freezer..Sears service repairman Mike has been here three times and unable to fix the issue, just so happens 1 year and three days after the the last repairman appointment, Mike the Sears repair serviceman deemed the problem was unfixable…and noted so on his service….I’m at a loss with a $ 1999.99 that can’t be fixed , that allows air to leak in the freezer section…purchased the refrigerator from Sears in Middlesboro, Ky….3 times I notified the Sears repair service, 3 times Mike came, excellent attitude, it’s all on record with Sears repair service….this issue started well within the warranty period….and can’t be fixed..

Desired outcome: Want a replacement as Sears/Frigidaire promises….or a complete refund

Kenmore Lack of service on my kenmore elite refrigerator

Called two weeks ago when my refrigerator stopped running. We called the Sears service number and were given a date of July 1 for service. A few days later some one called and said there would be parts arriving and we should call and let them know they had been delivered. We got two more calls confirming our service date after we received the parts , July 1 between 7 & 4. The morning of the supposed repairs we received a notice that our repair person would arrive at approximately 3:08 p.m.. Shortly after 3:08 we were informed our service would be approximately 4:56. Shortly after 5:00 the service man called and said with the amount of repairs needed he wouldn't have enough time to do them today July 1, 2023 he would look in the computer for the next available date. The next date available was July 19 2023. when I told him that was unacceptable that I had already waited two weeks and now to be another 3 weeks without a refrigerator was putting us at considerable expense and inconveniance buying ice every day and living out of a cooler. I'm sure that it's by design that you can't actually call a real person to get issues resolved.

Desired outcome: I would like a response from a real person. I would like my repair to be scheduled sooner. They cancelled on us, we didn't cancell on them. We have already put in our two weeks waiting period.

Kenmore Kenmore Elite refrigerator sealed system failure

Purchased Kenmore Elite french door refrigerator through Sears, July 2018 was delivered and installed. Not even 5 years later sealed system failed and independent technician told us even with free parts labor will be in upper $800. Tried to call Sears and Kenmore customer service and that was epic disaster. They offered technician to come out to see what is problem for $150 which will be waived if we decide to repair but we are responsible for labor cost which can be anywhere from 800 to 1000 dollars! I lost hundreds dollars worth of food but what is most troubling is that I have terminally cancer mother who is staying with us and during all her treatments and problems I have to deal with this issue.. Customer service was not helpful nor sympatetic at all, it was very disappointing and upsetting to go through this experience on top of my mother illness. I tried to get some help to repair this unit but being without fridge for over 7-10 days was so difficult to manage and I actually did purchase whole new refrigerator that we should get today installed. I am still very upset and disappointed that our Kenmore frige not even 5yrs old is done and 1600+ will just go to garbage. It was not cheap at all and it did not perform as expected, even "promised" 10 years.. Sears and Kenmore do not stand behind their products nor advertisment... Shame!

Kenmore Kenmore oven

Currently I own a kenmore oven. It was manufactured back in April 2010. The oven is no longer working and I had a technician from Kenmore to come to my home to see what was wrong with the oven. He was here approx. 15 minutes and said that he emailed me the diagnostics report and that I should receive it in 10 to 15 minutes. That was on March 15, 2023. I have called Kenmore everyday since then requesting the diagnostics report along with the price to fix the oven. Every day I talk to someone different and they all tell me that the report has been requested from the department that sends them out, but I still have not received a report that I paid for. I have no clue whats wrong with the oven or how much it would cost to repair/replace it. Please do your research when contacting Kenmore. I have come to the conclusion that they do not care about their customers and therefore, do not recommend them. Really crappy service. My technician was M Tadderick. Did not follow thru with anything that he said he was going to do. I give this company and this technician 0 stars. Go else where, do not use Kenmore Repair Service. - [protected].

Desired outcome: To receive my diagnostic report that I'm owed and paid for back on March 15, 2023.

Kenmore Elite refrigerator

The warranty is 1 year. I purchased the refrigerator 1 year, 2 months ago. A repairman has identified the problem, but the part is no longer available. I have essentially a new fridge that is not under warranty and parts are not available. In addition, I’ve spent over $200 to identify the problem, the water has leaked thru my floors and under house

dec. 13th service man came an

ordered parts. dec.22 he was supposed to show. a lady called an varified parts were here an they were here. but he didn't show again. they sceduled next appointment for dec. 28th. he didn't show so I called an talked to lady who said she had message parts weren't there. and they were last time. so now next appointment is jan. 10th. why can't you talk to someone or service man to let them know parts are here. I bought this new oct. 31. Kenmore Replace refrigerator

My case # [protected] I have been calling as my fridge broke and I have been told that it will be replaced [protected] Option 2 purchased from Lowe's in NC. I keep being told that a Manager needs to approve the request to have my fridge replaced but they will not tell me how long this will take. I've asked to speak to a Mgr. and told they cannot do that. I asked for Kenmore's Corp phone # and was told they cannot give it out. I am at a loss here and lack of professionalism. You may reach me at [protected].

Kenmore Elite lemon

I purchased my Kenmore elite refrigerator from sears. It has broken down so many times. I lost food and now it's the holidays and I don't have a refrigerator. I bought a Sears master protection plan and warranty. It has been broken since October.

No one is solving my problems. It was attempted to be repaired yet again on November 21st and it is still not working. I want a new refrigerator! I will have to contact my lawyer to resolve this issue for me.

Kenmore Kenmore Elite refrigerator #72695

Purchased this refrigerator at Sears Hometown store #03410, Sheridan, Wyoming on 9/22/22 (today is 10/10/22). Fridge worked poorly from day one - freezer totally defrosted and melted all food, then worked, melted again, worked again. I'm afraid to lose more food, so not using freezer. Three days ago the ice maker quit. Looked inside and found broken parts lying in the bottom. Complained to the store, they were no help, just told me to contact Kenmore. Contacted Kenmore, was told they scheduled a repairman for 8:00 - 12:00 today. Repairman was a no show. Finally got hold of him and he said he had no work order. Called the Sheridan Sears Hometown and they said they would refund my money if I had the original receipt. Drove 20 miles on very icy roads with receipt. When I arrived they said they couldn't help me and they told me I should have purchased the extended warranty. Then they told me to get out of their store! This fridge is only 7 weeks old!

Desired outcome: Return refrigerator for full refund as promised by Sears Hometown #03410, Sheridan, Wyoming.

Kenmore Kenmore Refrigerator Model 795.79442.810

Our Refrigerator is less than 3 years old we purchased the unit on Sept 17, 2019, from Sears. This unit has an LG compressor in it. We have had 2 servicemen (not Sears) look at it and they both say the compressor needs to be replaced. We talked to LG and they said they would replace the compressor if it were not a Kenmore. They said Sears would have to deal with it because it is a Kenmore brand. We have contacted the Sears service department twice (the first time on July 9) and both times they told us we would have to wait until October before they could even come and look at it. I gave the Sears service department the model number and serial number and they say they can't tell me if the sealed system is under warranty. They said we would have to wait until October when they can send out a serviceman and only he could tell us whether it is still under warranty or not. We have used Kenmore products very extensively in the past and were satisfied. If this is how Sears is conducting business nowadays we will not be buying any more Kenmore or Sears products.

Desired outcome: We would like the compressor replaced under warranty as LG would do.

Kenmore Kenmore Elite High Efficiency Washer

I bought this washer and dryer app 4 yrs ago the rust is taking over the top side of the washer and the upper back. Its only me and my husband that use it and there is no way it should be rusting like this . Rust build up around the bleach dispenser. Washer still in good condition and have been happy with its performances, However, the rust is getting worst.

Kenmore Kenmore side by side refrigerator

I purchased a side by side in 2016 and waited for it about a month. Now 6 years later my ice maker no longer worked. I called a repairman and he showed me a defect in the manufacturing of this refrigerator.

The wiring for all of the ice maker (which is in the door) and the panel on the front runs through the door and makes a curve below. Every time you open the door it bends the wires. It had a half rubber half plastic cover that deteriorated after 6 years. This is the 3rd refrigerator that he has seen with the same problem. The only solution was to purchase a new door ($600 to $900 plus install).

I have always had good luck with Kenmore products and am deeply disturbed by this incident.

Can you offer any help with this matter.
