Kan Kan Driving School Driving instructor

I booked driving lessons with Kan Kan in April and they said it was a 3 week waiting list and I didn't get my first lesson until June 12th, I had my lessons with Gaynor she's was VERY unreliable she was always atleast 45 minutes late for every lesson and I never got the full hour lessons I was always heading home after about 40 minutes and getting home after about 45/50 minutes. From June to August I only had 5 lessons! Every time I had a lesson it was another 2/3 weeks until I had another one as she was going on "holiday" for 2 weeks every week which i found quite hard to understand. I decided to go with a more reliable instructor. Her lessons were very poorly planned compared to my new school as she had me doing a 3 point turn on my second lesson bearing in mind I hadn't drove before and she basically just drives the car for you during my 5 lessons with her I hadn't learnt a thing I learnt more in one lesson with my new school. Since August I have been trying to contact Gaynor as I am still in credit with her as I paid for 10 lessons and only done 5 I have tried contacting Kan Kan and they said I have to go through her there is nothing that they can do. Which is also hard to believe as they are the ones in charge. I would like the money back to go towards some useful lessons that I am now taking. The lessons were one of birthday presents off my mum for my 18th. She refuses to answer my phone calls and text messages. I highly advise anyone that considers going with Kan Kan to think twice. they are disorganised, unreliable and very unprofessional.

Kan Kan Driving School Property lets

I rented a cottage from the owner of kan Kan driving school. Only to find out after nearly 8 months that there was an electric cable running from my meter to the property next door. ( witch is also owned by them ) seems I had been paying for next doors washing machine and drier, for a famliy of three. When this was raised with the owner ( Bev ) all I got was a torrent of abuse from her and threatened with leagal action. When I left they scammed me on my bond. BIG TIME. The property was in much better condition when they got it back than it was when I got it. I am a Joiner by trade and I maintained the property myself. These people should not be trading. Take my advice and stay well clear of this place and its business practices. YOU WILL GET BURNT.

Kan Kan Driving School Terrible driving school

DO NOT USE THIS DRIVING SCHOOL!

The service is shocking. The driving instructor I had was terrible. She used to show up extremely late and was very unprofessional. She would text on her phone while I was driving and not pay attention.

But what really shocked me is that she dissapeared while I still have 6 lessons left of my block booking and she refuses to get back to me. The company told me I can not get a refund as I have block booked with her and not directly with the company. I appalled and they do not even have a customer service number to complain, instead they have an email.

Kan Kan Driving School refund

AVOID AT ALL COST!
i wanted driving lessons 10 for £99 this isnt all its cracked up to be u get 6 then 4 on the week of passing your test so dont let this fool u, also this is supposed to britains most awarding female driving schools but i get 2 men calling me i wasnt happy with this so i stressed that i would just like my money back they do not give your money back so now because i asked for my money back they are giving me just 5 lessons for the cost of what i paid of 103 pound dunno why i was charged 4 pound also, their customer service is disgusting they treat customers like something they stepped on. they told me they were very short staffed they told me to send an email for my money i did that which aint even a company email address it is hotmail.co.uk adress not very professional..i thought i wud be gettin a car with the love hearts all over too i was gettin a completely different car cmpany teaching me. now i have 5 driving lessons i need to use for my money because they will not be giving me a refund. so just be careful and dont do the same mistake i made and go with a reputable company word will be getting round too.

Kan Kan Driving School Stay away

Like many others, I booked a driving lesson for my daughter's 17th birthday. The Instructor did not turn up. I contacted the school, they admitted that they had made a mistake and the girl who had made it had already been sacked. I spoke to a few people including Bev and Alistair the Directors. They were very apologetic, admitted it was their fault, but couldn't arrange a substitute lesson. At this time, I really didn't care that the girl had been sacked and I didn't want compensation, I wanted to put my daughter's birthday right. They couldn't / didn't put it right.

I have learned, dont go for a cheap school, especially this one. Make sure they take some payment up front, double check the booking. This school is clearly over extended. They really marred my daughter's birthday. I cant replace that. My daughter now has her first driving lesson booked with a different company for the 9th April, 8 days after her birthday. They are responsible. Last night they said they would go away and come back with their best offer of dates for her lesson they didn't. AVOID KAN KAN DRIVING SCHOOL, THEY CANNOT SUSTAIN THEIR BUSINESS AND WILL LET YOU DOWN. I am so disappointed in them and their apologies change nothing - if they really were a professional company they would have done 'something' or should I say 'anything' to make some amends to my daughter.
