I subscribed to the lawyer answers service three days ago, which costs $60 per month. I believe I have already asked enough questions to make the payment worthwhile. In the past, I have paid lawyers $350 per hour, so $60 per month is much better. I hope I won't need their assistance for more than a month, as I am currently in a situation requiring a lot of legal advice. However, if I do, the low price is still preferable to paying by the hour. I am grateful to have been informed about this service.

There are two downsides to this website. Firstly, it is not as user-friendly as it could be. It is not self-explanatory, and it is difficult to determine which page is necessary for asking a question. Secondly, on every other subscription website I have used, the charges are clearly presented as selectable options. On this website, however, you begin by asking a question and then sign up with your credit card for a monthly fee. It is not very clear what is included in each membership choice. The company should provide customers with clear options and descriptions of what is included at each price level. If you are an employee of the company, please consider making the website more similar to ComplaintsBoard.com. Provide us with options and clearly explain what we will receive at each price level. Additionally, allow us to sign up before asking questions, similar to signing up for *** before watching movies on it. We should become members first and then ask questions, rather than asking a question and then wondering what we are paying for. It would also be helpful to have an easier way to view and print past questions and conversations for offline reference. I hope you make improvements and that your lawyers thrive on this platform. It is a great concept.

JustAnswer Doctor Calmed My Fears in Wee Hours

When you awake at 12:15 a.m. with a hard-hitting pain in your chest, you wonder whether the problem is digestive or cardiac. You are pretty sure it's a digestion issue, but what if...?

When you are still awake at 3 a.m. wondering, but cannot leave home because your spouse, who is on Hospice, is soundly sleeping in the next room and you are his caregiver this shift, you want answers and relief!

Your good friend is a Nurse Practitioner, but she's already overworked and under-rested with a full week of long hours ahead of her and it's just Monday.

You google Web M. D. to read about your symptoms and then you realize that for a small amount of money, you can text and "talk" to a medical doctor. Pull out the credit card and call the doctor. A short time later you are describing symptoms, answering questions and getting usable advice that immediately addresses the problem and puts your mind at ease. As an added bonus, the texting doctor asks if you have any concerns at all and assures you this is nothing serious!

Then, you turn over and sleep soundly. No calling your doctor-on-call, no seeking out substitute caregivers, no bothering your friends and family, no waking your loved one with EMS professionals in the house.

Mission accomplished quickly, effectively and privately without having to bother others! We've got this and I am grateful!

JustAnswer Help when it is needed

I am retired and living on a fixed income needless to say, I am frugal with my dollars. In the past year, my wife and I both lost our parents. The transfer of estate and dealings with siblings was something I never had to think about. All of a sudden, it was all I have bee thinking about, including many sleepless nights. My wife has one sister, an accountant, who was integral in the transition of their parent's estate and investment stocks. On the other hand, my two brothers and I had equal 1/3 shares of the estate, and did not see eye to eye on the division, use, and sharing of rental properties of the estate left to us. To make things more complicated, my older brother's son, who is a lawyer, decided to squat and live in the main property, which was the most valuable property of the estate. After 18 months of negotiating, we retained legal help, and started ironing out the differences and came to agreements. This only came about because of the advise from lawyers at justanswer.com Our family is back on speaking terms, and even planning vacations together. We are functioning once again and I owe it all to the highly skilled professional advise from justanswer.com. JustAnswer Seems like a bunch of people miss the boat cause they

Seems like a bunch of people miss the boat cause they either don't read the info or just panic when things don't go their own way. I never had a problem and got plenty of very good answers. The bad or not so good answers that I knew were a bunch of bull I got my money back, no problem, just call them and talk to a live person. Don't keep sending worthless emails to a robot.

JustAnswer Amazing Veterinarian helped us on a Sunday, thank you from the bottom of our hearts

I would recommend the online Veterinarian Service to anyone needing immediate assistance from a Veterinarian without any hesitation. Deb, the Veterinarian I spoke with was excellent, she knew exactly what type of trap I was talking about that my dog had been caught in for such a long time. She knew exactly what to tell us to do.
We did exactly what she said and, and it's only been three days since the incident and our fur baby is doing great! Thank you Deb, our online Veterinarian!

I've included the story of what happened to our dog before my review for you to read and know just how panicked were were and how in need of an immediate Veterinarian on a Sunday we were.

Our dog was with us in our yard one minute, and gone the next. We live in an area of a small town where our neighbors are very spread out and woods separate most of us. Or dog had been missing for over thirty hours. The next day we're were outside again and she came wondering into our yard with an enormous lump under her throat the size of two softballs. It appeared to be a hematoma to me and our neighbor that is an RN. We found out that our sweet dog was baited and caught in a Snare trap by a neighbor. Snare traps are usually a death sentence for dogs. He left her in it intentionally for over twenty hours. He actually pulled up in the driveway right after she got home and told us this. He said he was going to shoot her, but decided to cut her loose.

Telstra, in Australia, is a privatised Telco which virtually dominates the Australian market. It is well respected. An IT "expert", claiming to be Telstra trained, offered the following Google advice to those wishing to extend the ring time on their mobile phones, which are mostly factory set to 15 seconds.

For Android: To extend your ring time, you'll need to make a note of and then dial a code involving your forwarding number. Dial *#61#. It will display the number the calls are
Forwarded to and the current ring time. Write down the forwarding number.

Dial 61*+1xxxxxxxxxx*11*30# (where xxxxxxxxxx is the number displayed previously and 30 is the new ring time you can pick 15, 20, 25 or 30). Dial *#61# to check the new
Settings.

End result: Ring time extended to 30 seconds but voicemail invited
Callers to leave a message and I would call them back. I could not receive
Calls. I wrestled with Google, phone plan providers and phone suppliers over
Four days, without avail. No one seemed to want to know about my problem. My
Google search ultimately led me to Just Answer and I discovered Richard, Android Expert. Just Answer is US based. For a nominal cost, within a few hours I was put in touch with Richard. Recognising my phone dilemma, i. E. I couldn't receive calls which was his modus operandi, he text me one question and within ten seconds of my reply he supplied a code which restored my phone to its normal operating mode.

JustAnswer Gave me just the answer I needed on my burned-out furnace blower motor

I contacted JustAnswer because the blower motor on my furnace stopped blowing air, which meant I couldn't use my AC, and I wanted to confirm that it was the motor that was bad and not something else. A local HVAC company had come in and said the circuit board was bad, saying the cooling side wasn't getting power. They said it would be $1300 for a new circuit board, plus $900 for a new blower motor if that was bad too. They also suggested I consider replacing my entire system ($8-12k) with something "more reliable" since it's 18 years old.

The other day I replaced the run capacitor, since that's a common problem and a cheap fix, which worked for half a day but then the motor stopped turning again. The motor still seemed spin reasonably freely by hand, as is often the case when motors go bad, so I wasn't sure if that was the cause. Probably the new capacitor gave the motor a little more life but it was still on its way to burning itself out. Anyway, Brian helped me verify it was was the motor and NOT the circuit board, by showing me where to hook up the leads on my voltmeter and confirm the motor was getting 120V.

Thanks to my advice through JustAnswer, I got an exact replacement motor this morning from an appliance parts store, spent half an hour putting my furnace back together, and everything is working perfectly! My total cost for this (including the motor, the capacitor and JustAnswer's advice) was about $200. A better diagnosis than the local HVAC people had given me and my cost was one-TENTH what they quoted (not even counting the many thousands more they wanted to charge me for a new system. JustAnswer Much To My Surprise

I was skeptical going in. I had serious doubts that for $15 I would actually get a complete and comprehensive answer to my question. I figured at best I'd get an answer that gave me a general idea of whether or not my opinion about my situation was basically right or
Basically wrong but if I really needed an answer I could be completely certain about that I would probably have to bite the bullet and go find a real live attorney that would actually spend time with me to give me clarification on aspects of their original answer that I might not have completely understood.

I couldn't have been more wrong.
The attorney who responded to my question could not have been kinder, more patient, more thorough, or better educated.
Because I'm not an attorney there were things about her original answer that I still wasn't clear about. At the risk of her thinking I must be a complete [censored] I wrote back and nervously waited for the response where I would be made to feel like an idiot who was wasting her valuable
Time and what world did I live in that I figured for $15 I was entitled to "clarification" of an answer that would only be confusing to an idiot.

Wrong again.
She responded with a detailed, comprehensive clarification of what I was unclear about, complete with a step by step scenario of how my situation would unfold given the legally correct answer.

I asked if she could explain a couple minor things about her scenario which she did without hesitation. When we were done not only was I completely satisfied, I actually felt educated about my situation.

This was arguably the best $15 I've ever spent.

I highly recommend that others take advantage of this awesome site.

JustAnswer No more frustration. No more time wasting!

On applying for a new passport I was asked to produce a copy of my parents marriage certificate
They were married in 1947... I spent literally hours on.my pc trying to find the right government office that deals with births. Deaths and marriages... then I had to find the correct form to fill in (married before a certain date was not the same form as married after this date etc etc etc...)
So once I had filled everything in - ouf ' my form was refused because I did not know the geographical details of where they were marrie and both parents being dead this information was not easy to find. I had to go back into a government link to fill in a form to find out this information... I was tearing my hair out at this stage and despairing of ever finding out and never getting a new passport. And then on my pc screen appeared JustAnswer with all sorts of amazing promises: you will have a reply from.us to your question in 10 minutes to 24 hours...
I was sceptical and thought it was a true scam but as I said before. I was at my wits end
So I paypal'd the 38 requested for the research to find the answer to my question and within 3 hours the. Answer was in my email box... and there was the place they were married and I learnt a couple of things I never knew before like I had always been led to believe they had married in Ireland but nope, the event took place in England... well well well!

JustAnswer Gave me instructions and peace of mind my dog wasn't going to die

Grayson, a silky terrier, as terriers are wont to do, stalked and killed a lubber grasshopper outside. For those of you who don't know, a lubber is this HUGE grasshopper that's about 4" long, and with its legs out, stretches about 6". (Google it) They can't fly, they walk, slowly. He ate it. And about an hour later started to throw up violently, every 2-3 minutes. After give my dog water to keep him hydrated, he continued to throw up and moan. We kenneled him. Kept watching him and he wasn't getting better, in fact, he was throwing up more violently and moaning more. A 24 hour vet is 35 miles away. An email to this site, with symptoms, gave me a choice of chat, reply by email, or a phone call. I opted for phone call because of the symptoms. The vet on call was great and took his time. We went through what I had on hand I had some anti-nausea people med on hand and he calculated what my dog's dosage should be. I ground the pill w a spoon while on speakerphone, put the dosage on my fingertip and rubbed it on the roof on his mouth, since it's absorbed under the tongue for people. The vomiting slowed, then ceased. The vet then gave me instructions for what to look for during the night, what to do, and then gave me instructions for the next day for what to fix and how much and when. I work at home so i didn't have to leave him. He's quiet, drinking water and I'm following directions.

The lubbers are toxic and noxious don't let your dog eat one, is the takeaway.

Money very well spent, a great caring vet who stayed on the phone with me for nearly a half hour, and if the situation had warranted or things got worse would have sent me to the 24 hour vet in a heartbeat and said so.

Thank you so much today is the day after and while he's not hungry yet, I think he's going to be OK. Thank you again!

JustAnswer I really love this service!

I really love this service! I work as a teacher, and this field can be quite complicated. I am a member of two organizations that have lawyers for my own protection, but sometimes I just need a quick legal question answered. I started with a $5 trial membership that I had planned to cancel, but after three lawyers provided me with legal information during a difficult situation, they eased my mind and I am now a fan of the service. I thought I might keep it for another month, and although I understand that they can only provide legal information and not representation, that is often all I need. I have other organizations, but these lawyers have been great in answering my questions about Employment Law and court procedures that I saw on TV. I have a favorite lawyer, but I cannot mention his name here. He goes above and beyond to help me, and I have added him to my favorites because I feel like I become smarter every time I talk to him. He is not only an incredible attorney with vast knowledge, but he is also changing my perception of "lawyer jokes." Although I've heard that law schools are full of them. This is a great service and a great company! To my favorite lawyer, you know who you are, bro! :)

I had a nasty electrical problem causing my car to stop after starting. I spent most of a Saturday with a mechanic helping troubleshoot the problem. It was reassuring to have someone knowledgeable right there answering questions and making suggestions. I would definitely use Just Answer again and have bookmarked the mechanic who helped me.

I needed help with my printer not printing. I tried everything I could think of and finally searched on line for some help. I knew about the $1.00 "test" charge that was taken out of my account, although I was told it would not. Then when the tech offered to do it remote, I hesitated but ended up letting him do it any way. I knew about the $29 charge for the remote help. What I wasn't expecting was a $40 subscription charge. I never signed up for a subscription and canceled it right away. I would like to see that money returned to me. The tech was okay to work with. He was patient with me while he tried to talk me through trying to find the problem. I finally took him up on doing it remotely, since he could go through things faster then I could. Finally did a system restore that I had used in the past and forgotten existed.

I was unsure of exactly how to hook up light fixture and while I have done several in my life time of 72 years this particular situation contained more wiring than I felt comfortable with. I searched the web for an hour but couldn't' t find an explanation that fitted my situation exactly and when it comes to dealing with electricity you want EXACTLY. Long story short I had contacted some electricians but since it was the weekend no one was available without having to pay weekend prices and being retired am on a budget so decided I'd have to wait for Monday. I had however been able to get some ball park figures on the job but felt that $200.00 was way too expensive and like I said I know how to wire fixtures and am comfortable with circuitry and knew if I could just ask the and get an answer I'd be able to do the task. That's when I decided to call Just Answer and so glad I did. Took my Just Answer master electrician a little time of me explaining and showing him the photo's of my project and he descripted in detail what and how to do it. After that a simple matter of me following his instructions and got her to work. Saved $200.00 and feel kinda good that I did it by myself. I truly feel this is a very valuable service and hope it is always available. Once you use it I feel sure you will again and save money and time and perhaps like others even lives.

The *** question I asked was answered to the best of his ability. The problem was the billing practices. I called and cancelled the membership 4 days after asking their service was used.I agreed to the $30 fee. After cancelling the service via phone with their representative, I was charged again the next month. I called to complain, and she said they were unable to refund the second $30 charge. The rep asked for proof of cancellation. I was unable to produce the text they said they sent. Just be warned this company is not to be trusted, and save your texts.

They use deceptive business practices. You ask a question, they tell you that it will be $2 to chat with an expert and then they automatically charge you $53 for a membership fee hidden in fine print. You don't check a box, you don't agree to anything before you pay because, to them, the payment is the agreement.When you try to get the money back, they keep copy/pasting the same answers and disconnect the conversation.The sad part is that the technician did help me and, if they were upfront about the cost, I may have paid it. It's just a terribly deceptive way to operate a business and they offer zero resolution once they've hustled you out of your money.Stay away from Just Answer, call a repairman or go to a professional who will be upfront about the charges.

I needed assistance with an older phone system that is no longer available for purchase. I purchased a base and four phones with their charging bases, and I also had a phone and charger from my original order about four years ago. I have found that the subsequent phone systems I have tried were never quite as good as the ***TGA660, so I decided to buy four phones and a charging cradle from ***. However, I encountered an issue when trying to register two of the four phones. That's when I decided to seek help from Just Answer.

We communicated through messages and tried several different methods (around four or five) to register the two phones in question. Unfortunately, after all our attempts, it was determined that the phones were faulty. Although it would have been easier to speak on the phone, I didn't want to incur any charges, so we continued to work through emails. The technician, ***, was very kind and patient throughout the process. I appreciated his pleasant demeanor, extensive knowledge, and his dedication to helping me. I would highly recommend *** to anyone in need of assistance. If I require help in the future, I will specifically request his assistance, even if it means waiting a couple of days!

I believe that *** deserves recognition for his hard work, so I hope this review accomplishes that goal. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my experience. Please continue providing your excellent service. Respectfully submitted

They don't tell you upfront all the costs. The chat would not respond to my question. She said it was $5 dollars to speak to a vet. I asked her a further question about the charge and it went to the vet. She ended the chat. I put my credit card in and saw the membership fee, but wasn't sure if I would be charged immediately. I was. Tell people upfront it's 40 dollars.

I thought it was just $5 to ask a question. My question was answered and I received an email about the $30 monthly fee. It didnt see anywhere about the monthly fee. I immediately called and canceled my membership. I thought that would refund the money. Nope. I then talked to a supervisor. Nope. No refunding of the $30. They left me with .17 cents in my account. All of this happened within 15 minutes. I honestly thought $5. I wanted to know how much my stereo was worth so I could sell it for some cash because I dont have money for groceries. Well I did have $30 not anymore. I would NOT recommend Just Answer!

Like many other people giving reviews, I was confident the fee for my question was $5, so I called about 4 weeks later to ask another question...that is when my charge card sent an alert and i found out that JustAnswer had charged a $40 "membership fee" and was attempting a second months fee...neither of which was indicated on the ***. It is a useful service and too bad they work in a way that tricks people into unknowing getting charged for pricey fees. I bet the people who gave them high ratings haven't noticed the fees yet.

We took a risk and left our 14-month-old Labrador at home alone for a few hours. My husband and I returned from dinner to find a small cardboard box torn up on the living room floor. Our puppy enjoys chewing on cardboard and paper, as well as other things that are off-limits. He seems to enjoy being mischievous and running away from us with his forbidden items, like in a game of tag. This time, the little box contained ant bait tubes. He appeared to be happily chewing on an open one. I immediately took it from his mouth and tried to find information on pet poison control. I skipped the ads and went straight to a website called Just Answer. I sent a message for help on a chat line. Some questions were asked, and I answered them. I paid a fee and received a message from a doctor who said they would respond within 15 minutes. I received a message back that clearly reassured me and calmed my fears. The ant bait I mentioned was not toxic enough to seriously harm my dog. The bait contains sweetener in the liquid to attract ants, and pets seem to like it too. The vet believed that my 75 lb. dog would probably be fine, and he was. I received another text asking about his condition about an hour later, and again the next morning. Each time, he was fine. The vet was correct, and I felt a tremendous sense of relief. The responses were quick, clear, calming, and professional. The speed of the responses was particularly impressive. I am now a fan.

Unfortunately, I have had to start a number of lawsuits but wasn't sure how to go about them, nor was I sure of my rights. I also had some medical questions for myself and my dog. The attorneys on here have been super helpful. I wish I could have hired a few. As far as the medical issues, they doctors have saved me gallons of gas and hours of waiting at urgent care. I signed on for a month or two and am on my 6th month and it's been worth every ***!

Just Answer was amazing! Normally, I handle the taxes for my husband and myself, as well as our 1000-acre ranch. However, this year was particularly challenging for me due to health issues. By October 14th, I was in desperate need of assistance and didn't know what to do. I was aware that we didn't owe any income tax and would actually be receiving a refund. However, I knew I wouldn't be able to mail my return by the 15th and had a few questions. I was sick with a fever of 102 and experiencing body aches. Meanwhile, my husband was busy with the harvest, and we live 90 miles away from town. I searched for the IRS phone number on Google to inquire about the penalties for filing late. Unexpectedly, JUST ANSWER contacted me via email. I simply sent my question, "What happens if I can't mail my income tax return by October 15th?" Within 10 minutes, a representative named "***" responded, asking whether I owed income tax or was expecting a refund. I replied that I was expecting a refund, as I had received one for the past 10 years. In another quick response, she assured me that as long as I didn't owe the IRS any tax, it wouldn't matter if I didn't mail it on the 15th. What a relief! I had no idea such a service existed! "***" also answered another question I had regarding claiming my state income tax refund. It's like having my own personal accountant at my disposal. She's definitely a valuable asset! I give JUST ANSWER an excellent rating.

Dr. Nikki was able to quickly recognize that Snowball was in pain. She suggested ways to alleviate his pain, which helped him calm down and sleep. I tried contacting four emergency animal clinics within 90 minutes of my home, but unfortunately, they were all full and couldn't provide any information. It frustrated me because they had Snowball's medical records. Dr. Nikki was very compassionate and made me realize that I might need to consider euthanizing Snowball. Snowball was a 14-year-old diabetic, blind Bichon Frise who had previously experienced DKA. His right eye was bulging, red, and had an ulceration and infection, requiring surgical removal. I was told that as a responsible pet owner, it was crucial to prioritize his quality of life, which he no longer had. Today, when they brought Snowball to me, he was happy to smell me and cuddle as usual. When I put him on the floor to cut off his tail hair for a keepsake, he wagged his tail and seemed content to be in my presence and walk around. I almost considered taking him home, but I realized that without opiate IV pain medication, he would suffer again. This is the second time I have had to euthanize my dog; the last time was almost 40 years ago. I already miss him terribly. Thank you, Dr. Nikki, for helping me make the difficult decision to end his suffering. I am grateful for your kindness, compassion, and expertise. Diane G

I sent a check to CoxHealth to pay my bill in full before I moved out of state. However, they still sent the bill to a credit agency. I contacted the hospital and they claimed that they were too good to accept my payment because it didn't come directly from me. They had my information as the only contact and caregiver, and my presence was noted when we called them. We did everything we could responsibly, but they made it a moral issue with their policy. This has resulted in disrespect and damage to my credit. However, they eventually returned the money, treating it as a gift. So morally, they shouldn't ask for anything they didn't want, right?

At first, I was hesitant, but I decided to give Just Answer a try. I was satisfied with their responses and the time they took to help me. This was their reply: "There is no valid reason for a third party's payment to be rejected. Even if you were a stranger to her, if you paid her bill, that should have been the end of it. The bill technically remains unpaid, but in any potential lawsuit to collect it, there would be several defenses based on legal concepts such as waiver (when one party waives a legal right, in this case, the right to collect the bill) or equitable estoppel (a doctrine that prevents someone with fault from seeking a reward from another). I cannot predict the outcome of a court case, but if the collection agency continues to pursue the bill and refuses to remove the indication of it being unpaid on her credit, it may lead to a court case filed by either her, you, or them to resolve this matter. My two puppies ate an entire uncooked pizza on Saturday night. As a new dog owner, I looked it up online and learned that raw dough is very harmful to dogs because the yeast grows quickly in their stomachs. I was extremely worried, so I signed up for Just Answer, which offers emergency services. I called the nearest emergency vet, but they told me there would be a five-hour wait and advised me to contact the pet poison line to determine if it was necessary to bring my puppies in. The pet poison line informed me that it was too late to induce vomiting at home and recommended that I go to the nearest veterinary clinic immediately. However, when I called the clinic, they said they couldn't accommodate my dogs and suggested that I drive to the next nearest clinic, which was three hours away because I live in a rural area. Meanwhile, both of my puppies were becoming lethargic and bloated. I was crying and didn't know what to do, fearing for their lives. That's when I received a message from a veterinarian through Just Answer. She was truly amazing and a lifesaver. I explained the situation to her, and she disagreed with the pet poison line's advice about inducing vomiting at home. She guided me through the process in great detail and even texted with me throughout the night and the next morning to check on my puppies. I am convinced that she saved one or both of my dogs' lives with her assessment, and I am forever grateful to have had her help in this situation. If I could give her 11 stars, I would. I took my dog to the vet on Friday before the long Labor Day weekend. They conducted tests on his blood and urine to investigate potential kidney or urinary tract issues. On Saturday, he started experiencing pain and urinating blood. Unfortunately, the vet was closed for the long weekend, and the emergency vet referral they provided on the voicemail was impolite and brief when I spoke with the vet technician. It was confusing because she wanted me to bring my dog in for the same tests again, and the results would take three days. She refused to treat him with antibiotics for a probable infection and stated that the vet would need to examine him, redo all the tests, and perform an x-ray. I asked why, and she replied that they wanted to check for any masses. I then asked what we would do if the x-ray came back clear, and she said we would consider chemotherapy. I inquired if I could receive antibiotics if the x-ray was clear, and she responded that it would be up to the vet. As a last resort, I asked if I could use my own antibiotics for my pet, but she said it was impossible because they don't work the same in animals. I searched online for "amoxicillin for dogs" and found that the 500mg dosage I had been taking was suitable for my 75 lb. dog, but it should be administered twice a day instead of three times. I texted JustAnswer for additional support. They didn't comment on the fact that I had been giving my dog antibiotics to get him through the long weekend. They did suggest taking *** mg of cranberry extract every 12 hours to help us until my vet opened. They explained that they couldn't diagnose or prescribe medication without conducting an examination, which was more than the emergency vet was willing to do. Today is Monday, and I have one more day until my vet opens and I receive the test results. I anticipate that my vet will prescribe the same antibiotic that I have been giving to Cam, who, by the way, is much better today. I'm not sure if it's the cranberry extract that I started using soon after the antibiotics or both, but I am very happy and grateful.

I was feeling very discouraged and on the verge of giving up when I discovered JustAnswer. I was immediately connected to a licensed veterinarian assistant who was very knowledgeable about animal questions and where to find answers. I was connected to Dr. , a highly qualified professional veterinarian who specializes in a wide range of animal services and can diagnose both physical and emotional issues in animals. I explained my problem with my two Burmese cats: one is a 7-year-old male and the other is a 12-month-old female that I recently adopted. When I brought the female cat home, the male cat became extremely agitated and aggressive. I had to separate them into different rooms, and that's still the situation now, after 8 months. I contacted my veterinarian in *** and explained the situation. She prescribed a pill called fluoxetine for the female cat's anxiety. However, the older cat refused to take the pill, even when I tried crushing it and mixing it with his favorite wet food. It didn't work. My veterinarian recommended a cat behaviorist to help me, but I had no luck finding one. That's when I found JustAnswer, and the veterinarian assistant referred me to Dr. . We had a chat, and she suggested a procedure of separating the two cats in a large cage, one at a time, so that the new cat could explore the house. She also recommended a compound pharmacy in *** that could create a topical cream for the older cat's ear, which I would then massage in. She advised me to contact my veterinarian and gave me the name of the compound pharmacy. Dr. *** assured me that my vet would recognize this pharmacy and told me to get in touch with them. I haven't contacted my vet yet, but I have a positive feeling that this strategy will work. Dr. *** was very professional and pleasant while giving me the diagnosis. I was extremely impressed with her professional knowledge and understanding. I would definitely give her 5 stars!

Yesterday, I was shopping for a new television and I visited both Walmart and Amazon websites. I noticed that these two sites provided conflicting information about the same brand of television. So, I decided to visit the manufacturer's website to gather more information. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any details about the specific television model I was interested in. I tried to find their contact information to ask them directly, but instead, I was redirected to a website called JustAnswer.com. I found it strange that a large manufacturer would direct me to another website. However, since they were only charging one dollar for the information I needed, I thought it was worth it and provided my credit card information. They sent me the requested information about the TV along with a link to the manufacturer's specifications, so I was satisfied with my one dollar purchase.

This morning, while checking my emails, I noticed a message from JustAnswer.com stating that they had waived the one dollar charge but had charged my card $40.00 for a one-month subscription. I was furious because there was no mention of this $40.00 charge when I authorized the one dollar payment. I immediately checked my checking account and discovered that they had indeed taken $40.00 from my account, even though I had only authorized $1.00. I initiated a chat with them to express my frustration and demand a refund. After a short wait, during which a supervisor was supposedly contacted, I received a message stating that they would not refund the $40.00. I tried to reply to that message, but they ended the chat before I could send my response.

While $40.00 may not seem like much to those who are still working, it is a significant amount for a retired senior like myself who relies on social security. This unauthorized charge almost caused my checking account to overdraft, which would have been a major problem for me. What this company has done is completely wrong, and something needs to be done about it. It seems that this company is a repeat offender, regularly taking advantage of unsuspecting people like myself. I also feel ashamed for falling for something like this, but the internet can be a dangerous place, especially for seniors who are not tech-savvy and unaware of the risks it poses.

This company is trying to bait and switch me into paying a membership charge. It clearly states on the website that you can join for $***, no commitment. Anyone can verify this by going on their site. I asked one question five days ago and right after that they charged me a *** fee as well as the *** fee. If they state clearly that you can join for *** and charge $50.00 that is clearly a bait and switch and very questionable business practices.

I initially used them during a trial period in December 2021. However, I cancelled before the trial ended. I called April 7, 2023 about the $46 charges to my account and told the representative I cancelled prior to the end of the trial. The representative said that she did not see where I cancelled and that I would not receive a refund. I explained how irate I was and told her to cancel NOW. I would not recommend using them.

I called Just Answer with a small legal question I desperately needed an answer to. On 4/1/2022 I spoke with a young woman who asked the gist of my concern then told me she had to refer me to one of their attorneys. The cost would be $5. Oh, but you have to complete this online form first and provide your credit card. Why? To pay the $5. Okay, that makes sense. The form requires you to join before you can pay the $5. But, the GOOD NEWS is that you can CANCEL AT ANY TIME and NOT INCUR ANY FURTHER CHARGES. I opted to try a $5 legal answer which wasnt much help to be honest. I cancelled immediately. I received a polite Sorry to see you go email and thought that would be the end. Um, no. I discovered a $59 charge to my credit card in addition to the $5! I figured the $59 charge must have slipped through. When I contacted them about a refund since I was a member for, like, a whole hour, I was presented with a legible sized version of the fine print that was buried somewhere around the 7th paragraph about NO REFUNDS, EVER, FOR ANY REASON, YOU SHOULD HAVE READ ALL THE FINE PRINT before you stupidly agreed to our terms. I would say this company has a nice little scam going. Personally, I live on a fixed income and cant afford to be ripped off of almost $60 through a site I desperately needed answers from at the time. Instead they used reprehensible, misleading, bait and switch type tactics to steal from me. After reading all the other almost verbatim complaints against JustAnswers I dont feel quite so stupid. I definitely wasnt the only person duped by these people.

Here are the facts: My husband is 77 years old and I am 70. We moved last year after 30 years in the same house, dealing with the obstacles created by Covid and with medical problems. In July of last year, we had a very sick puppy and were trying to find information about her symptoms. We found a veterinarian at JustAnswer.com and sent a question and received an answer. (My husband reminded me that the veterinarian's advice would have resulted in our dog's death. With further inquiries through different resources, we took her to an emergency vet. She had surgery and had we waited, as advised, she would not have survived.) We did not expect to get the kind of care over the Internet that we would get in person, so we compiled enough information that helped us make the right choice in time.

We sat at my husband's computer together while we did our Internet research. We used his email, [email protected], for our inquiries. Our registration with JustAnswer.com was through his email address. Nevertheless, I was the one doing the computer search while he sat next to me. He does not check his email thoroughly and often misses emails due to his eyesight. We paid for our question at JustAnswer.com and continued our research and were consumed by caring for our puppy over the next few weeks. At no time did we sign up for an ongoing subscription to this service! We assumed we were paying for one question. We did not access their service for any further questions. I am the one who takes care of our finances. I am slow and have limitations when using the computer due to health issues. It was only last week that I discovered a monthly charge by JustAnswer.com in the amount of $31 per month. I phoned them immediately at [phone number]. Here's what happened:

- On March 18, I spoke to a representative who apologized for the misunderstanding and offered to refund three months of the service. I told the representative that we would pay for the initial question as that was our understanding of the business transaction made in July. For a complete refund, he wrote notes about our experience and put in a request for a supervisor to call back within a few hours. He said it would be necessary to speak to a supervisor to discuss further refund. He said he could put me on hold but it could be an hour before a supervisor would be available and asked if I preferred a callback. I told him the hours I was available and he said that the supervisor would call back during that time. I did not receive a call back.

- Today, March 23, I finally had time, several hours, to address this task. I noted that charges made on February 29, January 29, and December 29 ($31 each) had been refunded. I called the same 800 number and spoke to another agent (2:41 pm) whose name I did not record. He found the notes from my conversation with the previous representative on March 18 and made the request again for a callback from a supervisor, this time within 30 to 45 minutes. After about 30 minutes (at 3:13 pm), I received a call from an unknown number and answered immediately. There was no one there, as I said hello repeatedly (an uncomfortable experience), and after 45 seconds, the caller hung up. The call was from [phone number]. At 3:15 PM, I called the original 800 number again and explained that I was waiting for a supervisor and I thought I had gotten a call but no one was there. I spoke with another representative who said that yes, I had been called by a supervisor named [supervisor's name], and that something must've happened and she would ask her to call me again. The representative kept me on hold for 15 minutes while she tried to arrange for contact with the supervisor. She stated that the supervisor was on another call. (The background noise was the loud sound of chickens clucking, very odd for a professional who is supposed to be attending to my concerns.) She finally asked me to wait for a callback and promised it would be very soon. At 3:59 PM, I received a call from the same [phone number]. [Supervisor's name] identified herself as a supervisor and informed me that it would be impossible to provide a refund for anything beyond three months. She noted that one notice has been sent to us by email announcing the start of the subscription. My husband has no recollection or record of receiving that email.

- I told her that it would have been impossible for us to know that we were signing up for a subscription and that I considered it fraudulent to have been charged in an ongoing manner when there was no use made of the subscription and no indication of intent on our part. She rejected my concerns and was scornful of my insistence. It was a very unpleasant experience.

$155 is a substantial sum in our budget. JustAnswer.com needs to acknowledge that they did not inform us in a way that was accessible to us and that this is wrong. We are willing to pay for the first month to represent our understanding of paying for one question. That is an extremely generous offer on our part, given that the answer we received would have been fatal for our puppy. Again, that is not the point. I would not blame an internet diagnosis for being in error because of the lack of hands-on information, but I do blame a company like this for taking advantage of vulnerable seniors at a time of crisis, tricking us into a subscription that we neither wanted nor needed.

This company is a total scam. I just wanted a simple opinion (answer) on an issue with my dishwasher. The website offered to do this for $5. I thought OK. Give me a one sentence response to the description of the problem I have outlined. Next thing I know, my credit card company sends me a text saying they have declined a charge from Justanswer for $40. Did I make this charge? I said NO. They then cancelled my credit card and stated that they would reissued a new one to me. What a hassle. In the meantime I am getting numerous texts and emails attempting to get me to pay more money for a phone call with an expert. All the while the original person (***) that was supposed to "just answer" my question is responding (through chat) with ridiculous questions and comments that have nothing to do with the problem I have outlined. I assume this is all an attempt to get me to pay more money for a service I did not need. This company is just one step away from an outright organized crime syndicate. They should get an F- from the BBB.

A few days ago I found this Justanswer website for a free trial that only cost $1 to get an expert to answer a question I was having trouble with. Then I saw this charge me $1 like it said on there and I got the answer. I agree with that because I know and allow you to charge me $1 as you said. Unexpectedly, today I logged into my bank account and saw that you guys (Justanswer) charged me $46 without my confirmation or permission to charge the membership for me that I never asked to participate or allowed a fee to be charged. I'm so angry that you scammed me and charged my money in my bank without my consent. I now request that you immediately refund the $46 that you charged me without my permission to my account. I'm extremely serious and frustrated at the moment. I need your explanation and refund my money. Also, I will never come back to your site again.

JustAnswer Justanswer recurring payments which were cancelled 3 months ago

I Have emailed these scammers now since November 2024

They said they will cancel it and refund me the $41 for Dec back into my account but I'm yet to see it in my account. I have found out that January $41.00 came out of my account again they were to put Dec payment back in my account but didn't now I've looked they have taken out a further $41 for February. I've since now have made sure Pay Pal has cancelled all payments. But they now owe me $123.00 for December, January, February.

JustAnswer They straight lie to you about their price

I had a legal question I wanned guidance on and Justanswer came up one of the first places for online consultation. Accessed the site and after giving some context on my question the bot they use told me I could get one answer from them for 1 euro. Sounds just like what I need! I move forward and it sends me straight to the payment page, introduce my data and I get charged (no confirmation on which amount or anything). I immediately get charged 1 euro... And another charge of 59 euros? This was not mentioned in any step of the way, just the one euro, and you don't get to confirm how much you are gonna pay.

This just fake information they are giving to get you into their membership, not even tiny writing hidden somewhere to trap you. This is not legal.

I would really like a refund for my money but

JustAnswer Subscriptions

I recently cancelled my Just Answer account. This was acknowledged by Just Answer and advised that no further fees would be charged. I received a message from PayPal to the effect that my Just Answer account was cancelled but further in the same message that I had resumed my account and payments to the amount of A$66 would be initiated from 22 Feb 24.

What is going on ?

JustAnswer Justanswer subscription

I am being charged a monthly subscription to justanswer, which I had no wish to subscribe to. I used the service once on a $2 fee which I paid now find that I'm being charged $66 a month, I was not contacted by justanswer to ask if I wanted to join and there has been no indication from them as to how to cancel subscription, they want to send me to another service which states a $1 fee then ongoing subscription of about the same amount as justanswer. JustAnswer Spam started 8 hours after membership creation

I created an account sometime before midnight on or about December 16, 2023. I asked a question and received great service from an expert automotive technician.

After completing the online chat, I did not provide my email address to any new websites.

I was very pleased then, and I am still happy with the results.

The next day I noticed that 8 hours after creating the account, spam and phishing messages began arriving in my email.

The messages do not appear to be coming directly from justanswer.com, but it sure looks as though my email address was compromised somehow.

Justanswer.com agreed to stop sending promotional emails, but the spam and phishing continues to this day. I do not have the time to prove that there is a connection between releasing my email address to justanswer.com and being inundated with spam shortly thereafter, but there certainly appears to be a connection.

What a disappointment.

JustAnswer Charges recurring

I do not recall signing up for this service. I cannot cancel my membership unless I sign in but I don’t have an account, and didn’t want to ask for login information because I was worried I might get another charge. I have two months of membership charges ; each month there’s one for 35, and one for 5. Charging me 40.00 each month. I need a refund and cancel the recurring fees.

JustAnswer I thought I was paying $5 but instead was charged $60 for one question

On 11/21/23 I needed an answer about my Jeep. I got the impression that it cost $5 to ask a question. I paid it with my card. I asked my ONE question and then cancelled my account right then so I would not be charged anything more.

But I still was charged. They charged me a $5 join fee and a $55 membership fee. So, for ONE question I was charged $60!

Trying to contact them is impossible. Their customer service chat is worthless. I typed in my concerns and all I received back was a canned response.

They really need to clarify exactly what the charges will be.

In September I asked a question about parking for which I paid £5 . Since then, you have without my permission charged my Barclaycard with £50 in October, November and December total £150.

Please refund that amount to my Barclaycard account.

I needed help from a doctor for my stomach problem. I got asked to pay 2dollars for subscription before speaking with a doctor. Somehow I got charged with 73 dollars. Then realized the doctor could not refer me to anyone or write any prescription or bloodwork. I did not find it helpful at all and am not satisfied. Definitely don't think it's fair for me to pay the 73 dollars.

JustAnswer I would like a refund of at least the subscription fee.

On the 7th of December I was installing a new Epson printer and I was having problems. I went to the EPSON web site to resolve the problem. I thought I was dealing with a EPSON technical support person that said if I payed a refundable dollar they could help me. So I used my credit card to pay the dollar. I was charged N my credit card the dollar, 55 dollars for a subscription I did not agree to and an additional 39.00 dollars I have no idea what it was for.. This was, in my opinion a complete fraud. I had no idea that I wasn't dealing with a valid EPSON technical support person. Please advise and see if I can't get a refund. Thank you.

JustAnswer I have been billed a monthly subscription for $66.00, which I never agreed to. I never received any assistance

On November 24th I contacted Just/answer and was asked to pay $2.00 to receive a callback, which I did. But I received a text message from a US doctor and I advised that I needed a Canadian doctor. I was told to open another window but I did not proceed any further and did not request any further assistance. I then received another text message regarding my subscription, which I did not approve and cancelled immediately. I was then billed on November 27th $66.00 for a monthly subscription. This is not fair and I need to be reimbursed for being wrongfully charged for a subscription I did not agree to and did not receive any assistance.

Thank you for your assistance. The communication I received from Just/Answer was on my cell phone at #[protected]. I would greatly appreciate a response.

JustAnswer Membership canceled but they keep charging me.

I had to lock my credit card as they would not stop charging me their monthly fee (and still are trying every week). Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed the monthly charges sooner. I think they are a scam company as why would they continue to charge someone who hasn't used their service for a long time? SCAM! Won't stop trying to charge me? SCAM! Will they even answer this complaint? SCAM!

JustAnswer fraud

Tried to take £50 without my permission after the three day £5 trial period - obvioulsy it's in the fine print somewhere that you will be charged a membership after this period but it is not on the sign up page = fraud in the UK.

So try contacting them? You can't. Ther live chat just redirects you to sign in again and again. When you email them, it gives you one of those contact forms and when you try and fill it out, the live chat screen pops up again and onscures what you are trying to type / screenshot.

Luckily i have a good UK bank who blocked the transactions however i am told they try again to take payment via another company (fraud again)

JustAnswer Cell phone recover lost calendar

I was informed by JUST ANSWERS that for $1.00 I will be connected to an expert, I agreed and charged $1.00 to my PAY PALL account, which immediately inform me that a payment of $46.00 was send to JUST ANSWERS.

I was never informed of this possible transaction. I do not want or need this membership. Please help. I called my Bank for this forced and fraudulent transaction.
