Jewelry Television (JTV) Mixed Feelings About JTV.mypreferredaccount.com

As a long-time customer of JTV.mypreferredaccount.com, I have had a mixed experience. While the jewelry selection is vast and the prices are attractive, there have been some issues. Customer service can be hit or miss, with delays in shipping and misleading delivery timeframes. The quality of the products received doesn't always match the descriptions, leading to disappointment. However, the return policy is fair, allowing for refunds within a reasonable timeframe. Despite these challenges, the beauty of the jewelry and the convenience of online shopping keep me coming back, albeit with caution.

Jewelry Television (JTV) I have been shopping with JTV for about 15 years now

I have been shopping with JTV for about 15 years now. I have made VERY FEW returns, usually due to the fact that the style didn't really look good on me (or someone else) in person. I have ALWAYS found the customer service reps to be friendly, courteous, and very helpful. With VERY FEW exceptions I have received my merchandise within two weeks, quite often sooner. My returns were handled in a timely manner. I definitely think the merchandise is well worth the money. And for the record- things can get broken in shipping no matter how well they are packed! And I once paid $17 to send a letter by 2 day mail. It was delivered 5 days later with the explanation that the post office "TRIES" to deliver in two days, but did not "GUARANTEE" delivery in two days. Maybe you are blaming the wrong party? I am a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER and recommend jtv to all my family and friends!

Jewelry Television (JTV) I have purchased merchandise online and via telephone

I have purchased merchandise online and via telephone from Jewelry Television going on three (3) years now. I have returned orders and had one order that was held in transit way past the date it should have been delivered. Not once I have had any problem with their policies concerning returns and such. Their customer service dept. have always been very helpful and polite. On one occasion I had a problem with my credit card concerning their stretch pay option; the customer service team understood my delay and had no problem waiting for me to receive my new credit card. As for the hosts that present the merchandise, it is like any other type business that call marketing products their profession. If you don't want what is presented, or need to return it, follow their protocol and there should not be a problem or simply do not order it or better yet, turn off the television until there are item that interest you.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Amazing site for jewelry!

I must say I am very shocked at all the negative reviews. I have been a loyal customer to JTV for a year now and I have never one issue with them. Anytime the jewelry is defective ( which has only occurred once for me), the customer service is great and will send you a return label and get your new jewelry right out to you. I have ordered several pieces from JTV and use them solely to build up my jewelry collection. The online ordering process is very easy and the shipping is fairly quick too. Also, my favorite part of JTV, the stretch pay option is a really convenient way for people like me (college student, not so much money to play with) to own nice fine jewelry without the huge up front price tag. Their jewelry is truly great quality and their customer service is fantastic.

I just had to put my experience out there. It makes me sad to see so many bad reviews of JTV because they have never done any wrong to me. Because of them I am able to build my collection of gorgeous jewelry now and not have to wait until I have graduated college and am making more money.

Jewelry Television (JTV) I totally adore JTV and almost all of the hosts!

I am an insomniac... my tv in set to JTV all the time, through the early mornings... I have been a customer & viewer since JTV just sold gemstones... I have purchased several hundreds & hundred dollars worth their gem stones & jewelry... recently I had to close my mother's account & because she used my address & phone number, my accout was cancelled too., But, my point in writing, is to make it clear, that I have no idea what these writers are saying... In all my time with JTV I've NEVER had one single problem, like they've written about... One time I did order & receive a ring, that I believed didn't live up to the sales persons pitch... I had also bought the protection package... I mailed the ring back & JTV replaced the ring & protection card with-in a month... The replacement ring not only lived up to, but surpassed the original sales pitch... This has been the constant norm for me... So in closing I will say this... some people will complain & make a mountain out of a mole hill, about anything... the majority of these complainers prove that... But right now, I'm going to look into buying some blue zircon... they look just yummy!...

Jewelry Television (JTV) Disappointing Quality and Hosts: My Experience Shopping with JTV

I've been shopping with JTV for a long time now, and I used to be really happy with my purchases. But lately, I've noticed that they seem to be mostly selling closeouts, and that's where the problem with quality comes in. When another company sells their product to JTV, it's usually because there's something wrong with it - maybe the stones fall out too easily, or the metal tarnishes quickly. And then JTV sells it to us at a discount, which seems like a good deal, but really it's just a way for them to recoup some of their losses.

I also found out that JTV employees get a really good discount on their jewelry - like, 10% above cost. So even though they say their markup isn't that high, it really is. And that's why I'm starting to feel like I'm not getting the best value for my money.

But what really bothers me is some of the hosts. I mean, how did Wendy become a host? She used to be a lawyer, for crying out loud! And people complain all the time about her voice. And then there's Sherree - she's just a disaster. She gives SNL more material than politicians! And Mandy... don't even get me started on Mandy. Every time she says "with a great pair of earrings you can rule the world," I want to scream. She talks about money and appearance more than anything else. It's so shallow.

I wear jewelry because I like it, not because I want to appear as something I'm not. And it's frustrating when the hosts don't even seem to know what they're talking about. Like when Mandy described the Bella "Looche" earrings as having updated "enclosures." What does that even mean? And she said it more than once! It's hard to shop with people who don't even hear what they're saying.

And then there's Lauren. What is she doing with her tongue during closeups while modeling? She looks like a snake or a lizard. It's really weird. I don't think many of the hosts or models would ever be hired at another network. I mean, where does JTV find these people?

Overall, I'm starting to feel like JTV isn't the best place to shop for jewelry anymore. The quality isn't what it used to be, and the hosts are just... not great. I think I might start looking elsewhere for my jewelry needs.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Mixed Experience with JTV: Decent Quality, Poor Presentation, and Slow Refunds

My experience with JTV has been a mixed bag, but overall, I have to say that I'm satisfied with my purchase. I was hesitant to buy from this website at first because of all the negative reviews I read online, but I decided to give it a chance anyway.

First of all, let's talk about customer service. I had a few questions about my order before I made the purchase, and I have to say that the customer service representative I spoke to was not very helpful. They seemed to be in a rush and didn't really take the time to answer my questions properly. However, once I received my order, I didn't have any issues with it, so I didn't need to contact customer service again.

Now, let's talk about the quality of the product. I purchased a necklace and a pair of earrings, and I have to say that I'm impressed with the quality. The pieces are well-made and look just as good in person as they did on the website. I also appreciate that JTV offers a stretch pay option, which allowed me to pay for my purchase in installments without any extra fees.

However, there are a few things that I didn't like about my experience with JTV. First of all, the presentation of the product was not great. The pieces came in a plain paper box, which was disappointing since I was planning on giving them as a gift. I had to go out and buy a separate gift box to make the presentation look nicer.

Another issue I had was with the return and exchange policy. I had to return one of the pieces because it didn't fit properly, and I was disappointed to find out that I could only get a refund. I wasn't given the option to exchange it for a different size or a different piece altogether. Plus, the refund process took a long time - it took about 4 to 6 weeks for me to get my money back.

Overall, I would say that JTV is a decent website to buy jewelry from, but you need to be aware of the potential issues. If you're going to spend a lot of money on a piece of jewelry, it might be better to go to a physical jewelry store where you can see and feel the product before you buy it. However, if you're looking for a good deal and don't mind the potential drawbacks, JTV might be worth checking out.

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV Jewelry Review: Quality Decline Due to Sourcing from China and Thailand

I have been a customer of JTV for a long time, almost as long as they have been on air. In the early years, their gemstones were clear and their silver was heavy and well-made. However, in the last 10 years or so, I have noticed that most of their products are made in China. Unfortunately, the quality of their jewelry has suffered as a result. Rings are thin and the stones are cloudy. It's a hit or miss when ordering from them now. I have sent back more items in the last 9 years due to poor quality. Cloudy gemstones and the repair shop have been major issues for me. Recently, I ordered tourmaline rings where the stones were only three colors all grouped together and cloudy. I asked to exchange the items, but the stones were still cloudy and just as bad as the first order.

I also ordered a large cross with red garnet, rhodolite garnet, and black spinal. When I received it, I noticed it was bent in several places. I sent it back to be repaired over a month ago, but customer service keeps telling me that it has not been repaired yet. I am nervous because I don't know how good the jewelers are at repairing items. I have been a long-time customer for 20 years or more, but once I get my cross back, I seriously doubt if I will order anything else from JTV! Until they take control of the quality of their products, I would say don't order anything that you see the host wearing on TV! They will take the best one of the items shown, and you will get low-quality items when you order them. Ever since they have sourced out their products to China and Thailand, you can expect poor quality. They are more interested in the almighty dollar than customer satisfaction now, and their prices for just silver jewelry with no stones are sky-high and what you get is junk. Even if the items have 5-star ratings, I am still leery of ordering. When I have ordered these items, I still got duds. They have beautiful designs, but they are poorly made. I wonder if new customers don't know how good quality jewelry is supposed to look like?

Nancy Bruff from North Carolina.

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV.com's Terrible Customer Service and Return Policy

I bought eight things from jtv.com back in June 2010 and got them by the end of the month. But when I saw them, I didn't like them, so I decided to return them. Jtv has a policy for returns, and they have a new option now where they give you a smart label to use. This label means you don't have to pay for the return shipping until you get your refund. But they take $6.99 from your refund for each label you use.

Jtv has never been quick or efficient when it comes to processing returns, but lately, they've been ridiculous. I used to have to call them with the UPS tracking number to prove that my items were back with them. But now, with the smart label, I can't prove that my items are there. This has caused a lot of problems for me, and I still haven't got my refund.

Today is July 21, 2010, and depending on who I talk to at jtv, they either haven't received my items, or they have but don't know where they are. Their computers are down, so they can't check. They tell me that they'll get back to me within 24 to 48 hours, but I don't believe them. I get different stories from everyone I talk to, and they all seem to want to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. Their customer service is terrible.

Even if they miraculously find my items today, I won't get my refund until August 9th. That's their policy, but sometimes they say it's 21 business days instead of 14. I don't know what to believe anymore.

I'm never going to order from jtv again. They're a disaster to deal with.

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV: Poor Quality Jewelry and Dishonest Business Practices

I have been a customer of JTV for over 15 years and I have to say, I am not impressed. Firstly, I have never seen a black host or person selling on their channel, despite them selling exotic jewelry like tanzanite. It just seems odd to me. Secondly, they used to sell Titanic jewelry, but it was so bad and cheap that it would have offended the people of the Titanic. They have ripped off millions of women who thought they were getting something special, but it was just really nasty cheap junk made of nickel, which is harmful to kids. They didn't even bother to warn people about it.

The jewelry they sell is very bad and falls apart easily. I bought a $500 pair of sapphire earrings and after about two hours, one of them fell off. I was at the opera and in the dark, so I couldn't find it. It fell into the wine of the man below me and he choked on it, disturbing the entire opera. I never got my earring back and was not allowed on the main floor until the end of the opera. Bracelets also fall off easily and you can't even tell when they do. I suggest wearing them at home and testing them for a few hours before going out with them.

Most of the jewelry they sell is super bad quality and you can't buy good jewelry anymore because of what they inspire. They mix silver with copper and other junk metals just to sell cheap jewelry. It's really disappointing.

I also had a bad experience with their return policy. I made a return because I didn't order anything, but they still wanted to charge me for it and for postage. I didn't even get the postage paid for back. It cost me $800 for a little tiny gem, which is way too high. I wouldn't recommend ordering anything from these people unless you want trouble and to be ripped off. They don't care about their customers and they're not honest. They even contacted my friends and family and slandered my name, even though I didn't owe them any money. It's just not worth it.

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV.com Review: Understanding What You're Buying and How to Take Care of It

People on here are always complaining about stuff they bought from jtv.com. One person was whining about losing a tiny diamond from a ring. If you're not careful with multistoned settings, it will happen no matter where you bought it. Other people complain about glued-in stones falling out. I always check the website for info on the setting, whether it's glued, bezel, or prong. This helps me decide whether to get an item or not. Glued items need to be kept out of water as much as possible because it's GLUE and will get weaker every time it's wet. If you're buying the cheapest stuff they have, it's not real gemstones, so yes, it could look like junk. My point is buyers need to know and understand what they're buying so they understand how to take care of it.

I've been buying from jtv.com since 2007, and yes, some things were sent back because I didn't like the quality or style when I saw it at home. My returns are processed in a timely fashion for a smart label. These do not get handled like regular mail, so it's slower. So, I went back to paying for my own shipping and learned it's cheaper and faster. I have kept most of my purchases, however, and have had no problems with losing stones because 1. I don't sleep in my jewelry. Prongs get stuck in bedding and break. 2. Never wear jewelry when cleaning. Cleaning agents are caustic and will change the color of stones, plus break down metals so prongs break. 3. Don't put alcohol-based hand sanitizer or wear swimming. Alcohol and chlorine are really caustic on all metals, causing weakness, which leads to breaks and more lost stones.

I understand that jewelry should hold up to wear, but if you aren't taking care of it properly, you will have problems. The golden rule is to wear with care. Every ring that I have purchased from them has all the stones, and I have several multistone rings. I am pleased with all my loose gemstones that I buy, understanding that since Mother Earth created it, it will not always be perfect. I do my research of other places to make sure the price is not way out there. I usually buy my stones on clearance and have some very nice rare gems.

I saw another person complaining about hand setting. They are handset pieces in mass quantities, and yes, made in China. But guess what? So is everyone else's jewelry, and they are more pricey on the other networks and less informed. I agree that the hosts can be rather pushy with their pitch, but they are selling something, so that makes them salespeople. Everywhere you go, you get pushed to buy by a salesperson. It's their job!

Jewelry Television (JTV) Mixed Experience with JTV Loose Gemstones: Buyer Beware!

I've been a Top 50 Contributor on JTV for a while now and I've spent a lot of money on their auction site. I'd say I've spent at least $3K-$4K on their site. My experience with JTV has been a mixed bag. I've gotten some beautiful pieces at a fraction of their listed price, but I've also gotten some ridiculous duds that cost me $13.98 to 2-way ship. I order so much that I have to store to-be returns in a box that can be shipped before the 30-day deadline. This way, I only waste $15 to ship at the post office rather than Smart [protected]@ $7 a pop. Unfortunately, the $2K or so I've spent on air (could NOT keep) makes me ill.

A couple of months ago, I decided to sell off some of my loose gems collection to make up for some of the money I've spent just to send crap back. My advice is to ignore the hosts and website prices! Even my most prized rare stones have proven to be dumb investments! For example, I won a $148 opal for a mere $8 ($15 w/ship). I was certainly pleased with the quality! The most I was able to get for that $148 ("below retail" per JTV) opal was... drumroll... a whopping $6! Maybe a fluke? Nope. I took a bath on 5 opals before deciding I'm stuck with boxes of pretty but near-worthless treasures. What good is an appraisal value if you can't actually unload a gem for even close to that price?!

I've thought many times that I should just pack up the years of collecting to return & just eat the 10% restocking fee for missing the 30-day window. However, the idea of losing even more $ on items I no longer own keeps me crossing my fingers that mines will suddenly deplete & my kids will make a killing off mom's hobby some day.

To the person who asked where to find loose gemstones, I'd recommend eBay of all places. Of course, it takes time, research, & a few aggravating lessons, but I've gotten some fabulous tanzanites (3ct auction win for $38!) that put JTV's high-priced stones to shame in color! Keep in mind that eBay is NOT the place to SELL (see above), but be patient & place a lot of small bids. Eventually, you'll win one due to the oversaturated market. I like to randomly pop in to see auctions (not Buy It Now) options that are ending soon & still low. I've beaten even some questionable bidding practices (another account jacking up the price) by bidding within the last 10 minutes on stones.

If I can get 2-9x7,1-10x8, & a carved cab tanzy on eBay for LESS than JTV's listed price for 1-8x6 tanzy of a similar color (well, on the pic anyway) AND pay less shipping, benefit from buyer protection & timely refunds... well, lesson learned!

For the most part, JTV loose stones aren't any better quality than what you can find for a fraction of the price. Their service standards & s/h fees are silly. Their resale value is maddening. Quite while you're ahead... or at least before you loose any more. :)

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV's Shady Business Practices: Stolen Items, Switched Gems, and More - My Experience

So, I wrote a review a while back about JTV and their shady business practices. I was pretty happy to see it on sitejabber, but I realized that I needed to correct some of the facts. I had said that I bought the same Madagascan Blue Sapphire princess cut four times, but each time I received a purple Tourmaline square step up cut instead. JTV claimed that they never had or sold a Purple Tourmaline square step up cut gemstone in their inventory, but I know what I received. And each time, I paid between $120 and $150 for the Madagascan Sapphire that I never got.

I checked the Purple Tourmaline in a JTV refractometer every time, and the results were the same as for semi-precious tourmaline. And according to the magazine GEM GUIDE, which most reputable gem jewelry stores use to value gemstones, the amount of money charged for a melee princess cut blue sapphire was $1000-$2000 wholesale at that time.

But that's not all. I've also had items straight up stolen or switched for very low-quality stones like emeralds, opals, and rubies. I've had orders cancelled that I won on the auction site before the president of JTV decided to liquidate the entire auction site and inventory. Even though I got some good deals through the auction and other specials, the company has gone downhill since Jerry passed away.

I think someone high up on the employee chain must have had access to switch gems, change item weights, and clean out entire inventories. For example, they changed the weight of item SBR055 7mm round Madagascan Blue Sapphire from .75ct to .60ct in the middle of an auction and changed the item description page so they could take all the .75ct stones, which most weighed .88ct, and replace them with .60ct stones, which most weighed .72ct. I informed them, but they changed the weight of the item before the auction was over so they could change the item description.

I want JTV to respond to this review and tell me what happened to the .75ct round Sapphires SBR055 and who in their team of employees ripped me and JTV off. Was it Mr. Tim Matthews or Jay Boyle? Jay Boyle is the senior buyer and knows the inventory, but he's not the bad guy. In fact, he got some of the items for me that were switched on me. This would have never happened if Jerry was still alive with his good business ethics, which Tim Mathews lacks or has none.

And where are the tanzanite, Ethiopian opals, peridot, spinels, sapphires, and others? All I see now is cheap Bella Luche jewelry and B grade color tanzanite. Don't try to defend this company, as I've seen with other people's counter reviews. They're just people who wear suits, which in my mind is a mark of a thief. Has anyone else had the same things happen to them?

Thanks for letting me post this corrected review.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Terrible First-Time Experience with JTV's Customer Service: A Review

OMG, I had the worst experience with JTV! As a first-time customer, I was excited to check out their evening deals and snag some goodies for myself and my daughter. But things quickly went downhill when I tried to purchase a Bella Luce tennis bracelet for her Christmas gift.

I had my cart all set up with a few other items from the second tray, and I even had a sweet 15% discount code to use. But just as I was about to check out, all the pricing disappeared! It was just a few minutes after midnight, so I figured it was some sort of glitch and called customer service for help.

Big mistake. The first representative I spoke with was useless and just told me to use the chat feature instead. So I tried that, but the site was so temperamental that the chat kept getting lost FOUR TIMES! I had to keep explaining my situation over and over again, and it was so frustrating.

Finally, after two hours of back and forth, I was told to call customer service again to place my order. But even then, the representative wouldn't honor all the promotional discounts I had originally applied to my cart. After all the time and effort I had put in, I was so fed up that I just gave up and decided not to order anything at all.

Honestly, I've been ordering things online for 15 years and have never had such a terrible experience with customer service. It's clear that JTV has no idea what real customer care should look like. And to top it off, the representative I spoke with had a terrible attitude and didn't deserve my business.

In the end, I didn't want to give JTV any of my money or support a company that treats its customers so poorly. It's a shame, because I was really looking forward to wearing the jewelry I had picked out. But now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Disappointing Experience with JTV: Poor Customer Service and Low-Quality Products

I've been shopping at JTV for over 20 years now, ever since the ACN days. I've spent a lot of money on their products, probably closer to twenty thousand dollars than ten, and I've always been happy with the quality and value of what I've bought. In fact, I've referred a lot of friends to JTV over the years. I hardly ever return anything, even if it doesn't meet my standards - I usually just give it away to someone else or donate it to charity.

But my most recent experience with JTV has left a bad taste in my mouth. I was trying to buy a Zircon gemstone online, and I had it in my cart ready to go. But then I saw some beautiful bracelets on TV and decided to add them to my order. I hit the purchase button and used my auto-fill information, but when I checked my order status, the Zircon was no longer available and the bracelets were sold out. I didn't get any confirmation of my order, and I was pretty upset.

I called customer service to try to sort things out, but the representative I spoke to was useless and unprofessional. She said she would have a supervisor call me back, but that never happened. When I called back later, I was told that my complaint would be forwarded and that I would get a call back from a supervisor, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's clear that JTV has declined in quality over the years. The price of precious metals and gemstones has gone up, and the supply has gone down, but that's no excuse for poor customer service and low-quality products. I expect more from a company that I've been loyal to for so long. It's a shame that JTV has let me down like this.

To sum up my latest experience with JTV: it was a complete and utter disaster.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Correction to its time for eastern BBB of TN to know the truth

I wrote a review on 11/9/15 about bait and switch tactics and theft of precious gemstones. I was happy to read my review on sitejabber but realized I must correct the facts. Anybody else have the same things happen yet? Thank you for letting me post this corrected review. JayC

Jewelry Television (JTV) HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

WOW... what a horrible experience. I watched JTV as a first-time customer and decided to purchase items from their evening deals. In the last fifteen minutes of the segment, they introduced the Bella Luce tennis bracelets... I knew my daughter wanted one of these for Christmas so I called her to try and get her wrist size (and measure mine)... my cart had been set with a few more items from their second tray and I had all the promotional info in the cart and was ready to go with the added 15% discount to boot... As I was setting up the account and just prior to purchasing all the pricing went away it was only a few minutes after midnight, so I called customer servic for assistance, should have been an easy fix, umm no! She pawned me off to chat, claiming they could pull my cart and easily make the adjustment and process my order. Chatting on an iphone while trying to discuss my cart was impossible as the site is very tempermental and the chat was lost FOUR TIMES! Each time I had to go to great lengths to get the Representative to understand me... and had to repeat my self over and over... I had the cart built with all the promotions all they had to do was pull it, adjust pricing and let me finish processing with payment. In the end 2 hours later... really 2 hours... I was told to call customer service to have them place the order as they couldn't see my cart and building it back from the screen shots I sent them to show the pricing and promotionns wasn't going to allow me then to pay for the cart? What...? Are you kidding me? So, I called customer service and while the Representative said she would be happy to honor the pricing I had for the ring the added promotional discounts she wouldn't honor. After everything I went through I no longer wanted any of it! At this point after all the wasted time dealing with inept "Customer Service" I lost all desire to do business with this company. Wasted my time, irritated the heck out of me, in the end I was still polite but had had it! I have other jewlery companies I work with that give REAL "Customer Service". In 15 years of online ordering I've never had any issues like I experienced tonight and I hope I never do again. (OH btw... I was a Key Account Manager in Ecommerce and know what online Customer Care should look like AND sound like. This company misses the mark completely! FYI the one who should have had attitude wasn't your Customer Care Representatives! In the end I didn't place my order becuase I didn't want the to profit a company I had such a bad experience with, or give the Representative a Sale she didn't deserve. I would never have enjoyed wearing the jewlery after tonight. Ignorance is bliss, I 'm sure if I hadn't needed "Customer Care" I might have purchased and been happy with my pieces. Unfortunately, I didn need assistance and my experience was horrible.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Host Nikki

Each time she is on camera JTV host Nikki takes every opportunity to continually "showcase" her chubby hands with the unpleasantly long, very fake nails. It is extremely off-putting, especially during the pearl presentations.

We watch JTV to see the jewelry and other products being offered for purchase, not Nikki's manicure. I change the channel whenever she is hosting.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Misinformation & very pushy on air

I had believed in this company but when I started putting things together its not worth ordering from them. They say on air that if u aren't satisfied with your purchase u have 30 days & full money back guarantee which isn't true because if u return the item they deduct $6.99 from your refund which isn't at all what they say & there are several hosts who are very pushing & say to split your payment on two or three major credit cards... when people are already struggling to make ends meet... I will not order no more

Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for all the money they never refunded correctly on my returns

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV's Poor Customer Service and Lost Item: A Disappointing Experience

I recently bought a ring from JTV back in March of this year. Unfortunately, in August, the top piece of the ring fell off and I was absolutely devastated. I reached out to JTV and they assured me that they would either repair the ring or give me a refund. I followed their instructions and sent the ring back to them. However, I was later informed that they did not have the ring I sent back. I was shocked and upset.

I contacted the UPSP to get the tracking information for the package (I had lost it but was able to retrieve it) and provided it to JTV. The tracking clearly showed that the package was scanned into their warehouse and received on 08-28-20. Despite this, JTV could not find the ring and instead of refunding me, they made me go through a bunch of procedures as if I had misplaced the item.

I have purchased another ring from JTV in the past and have had many customer representatives tell me that they would have a supervisor call me back, but no one ever did. It seems like no one cares about my item or my loss of money. I am being processed and handed over instead of being treated like a valued customer. I have been waiting on hold for a supervisor for over an hour now and it's frustrating.

I am disgusted with the service and the quality of the ring. This is my wedding ring and, more importantly, I am a customer. I need my refund! And to think I was going to turn around and purchase from them again. Not after this experience! It's disappointing to see a company treat their customers this way.

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV's Unprofessionalism: Order Canceled Without Notice, Ruined Christmas Gift

So, I was trying to get a couple of rings for my daughters as a Christmas gift from JTV (jtv.com) on 12/8/2019. They charged me the money on the same day and sent me an email saying that the delivery would be on 12/16/2019. But, the package didn't show up on the said date, so I called them on 12/18/2019 to inquire about the order. After holding for 20 minutes, they told me that they didn't know why the order had not shipped and it looked like it was stuck in their system. They told me that they would call me back and offered to overnight the order. But, they never called me back, so I called them again the next day. They told me the same thing and said that they would research it again and call me back. But, they did not.

So, on 12/20/2019, I called them back again and was told that they would find out right away why my order still had not shipped. After being on the phone again for over 20 minutes, they told me that my order had been canceled while I was on the phone with them because they did not have any more of the rings I had ordered. I never received an email stating that my order could not be filled. This was a special Christmas gift for my daughters, and now I don't have anything, and Christmas is just 5 days away.

I am so disappointed with JTV. They had to have known that they ran out of the rings, and they didn't even bother to inform me. This is so unprofessional, and I would never trust them again. So, if you are planning to buy anything from JTV, be careful. They might just cancel your order without informing you.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Disappointing Experience with JTV's Website and Customer Service: A Review

I done ordered some earrings for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday on JTV's website back in August. But dang, there was a problem with the shipping and billing addresses being different. I tried to fix it online, but it didn't work. So, I chatted with someone and he said he couldn't place the order for me. So, I done placed the order again with the earrings being shipped to me instead. They said they'd be delivered on or about 8/30/2019. But, I was gonna be out of town, so I done put a hold on my mail delivery since folks be stealing mail in my hood.

I waited and waited, but I didn't get the earrings. So, I called again. I done talked to a couple of reps, but finally, a real nice lady promised me that she'd have them shipped. I waited another week, but still no earrings. So, I called again on 9/10/2019 and talked to Donna. But, she couldn't find my order. I was so dang frustrated and upset since these earrings were a special gift for a special person. So, I done canceled the order.

Now, don't get me wrong, the service reps were all real nice. But, "I'm sorry" just don't cut it when you done spent all that time and effort trying to get something special for someone. I really wanted those earrings and I just can't understand why all these problems happened when I done got an email with my Order Number and a date of delivery. It's a real shame.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Beware of Sneaky Pseudo Names on JTV Auctions - My Experience

I've been shopping on JTV for about half a year now and I gotta say, the jewelry is pretty darn nice. But then I stumbled upon the JTV Auctions website and found even more pretty jewelry. However, what I didn't realize was that they have at least 7 different names they use to jack up the prices. I mean, come on now, that's just not cool. The first one I noticed was Tracy, and then there's Sherla, Yvonne, and a bunch more.

Here's the thing, if you've already bid on an item and then you bid again without realizing it, the system will tell you "Cannot place a bid. You are the highest bidder." But with these sneaky pseudo names working against you, it looks like you've bid yourself up multiple times because the pseudo name disappears. And then JTV can come back and say "Oh, that's an actual bidder." Yeah, right. Once you outbid the pseudo name, it just magically disappears from the records. I've even been the high bidder before and then waited 5 minutes after the bid closed, left the site, and then come back to find that the pseudo name had bid at least 6 hours before my bid. Like, what the heck?

After a couple of months of not realizing I already had an item, I started ordering duplicates on the auction site. And then I had to send them back. Let me tell you, it takes almost a whole month for the credit to show up on my credit card after I return something. That's just ridiculous.

And get this, the Better Business Bureau doesn't even have an accreditation for JTV or JTV auctions. I mean, what's up with that? It makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Jewelry Television (JTV) Unconscionable Treatment by JTV Customer Service Representative During Cancer Battle

I had a surgery that was unexpected and extensive after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. I was hospitalized for a few weeks and during that time, I had stretch pay on a couple of items from JTV. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pay them in a timely manner due to my illness. I reached out to Susan, a customer service representative, and explained my situation. I asked for time to pay and even offered to send proof if needed. However, Susan was unbelievably unconscionable and kept hounding me for payment. There was no empathy shown, even though my family and I have been loyal customers for years.

The first request for payment happened while I was still in the hospital. Susan demanded a payment immediately after I explained my circumstances. Instead of understanding, she cancelled my stretch pay options and demanded full payment of a little over $200. The experience was so upsetting and degrading. Can you imagine fighting cancer and dealing with that in that moment? It was a difficult time for me and my family, and the last thing we needed was to be treated poorly by a company we trusted.

To make matters worse, a family member recorded the conversation on speakerphone and wanted to make the content public knowledge to make others aware. Needless to say, my entire household, family, co-workers, and friends immediately stopped supporting JTV because of this. It was disappointing to see a company we trusted treat us so poorly during a difficult time.

I reported the incident to a supervisor, but unfortunately, nothing was done. The supervisor claimed that the complaint would be forwarded to a manager and that I should expect a call back. However, I never received a call back. It was frustrating to see that the company didn't take my complaint seriously and didn't make any effort to make things right.

Overall, my experience with JTV was disappointing and upsetting. As a loyal customer, I expected better treatment during a difficult time. However, the lack of empathy and understanding shown by Susan and the company as a whole was unacceptable. I hope that JTV takes steps to improve their customer service and treats their customers with the respect and empathy they deserve.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Delays at JTV - A Warning

I've bought a few things from JTV and I gotta say, most of them were pretty bad. The customer service is just terrible. One time, it took like two whole months for my stuff to show up! And just the other day, I had to wait four whole weeks before I finally contacted them to see what was up. They told me it could take up to six weeks for an item that I paid for with my credit card. I was so mad, I complained and then a couple days later, I got an email from JTV saying that my stuff was gonna be delayed even more! They said it could take another six weeks! I think they only did that because I complained about the slow shipping. There was no reason to delay it just because I used my credit card. I always use that same card and it's actually a debit card. They took the money out of my account right when I ordered it. I think they probably fired a bunch of people and that's why the shipping is so slow. And then they use the excuse of the credit card to make it seem like it's my fault. Everywhere else I use that card to buy stuff online, I get my stuff pretty quick. I think they're just being mean when a customer has a real problem with the shipping. I canceled my order and I'm never buying from JTV again! P.S. When I bought the stuff, it was in stock so there's really no excuse for their behavior. I guess they just don't care about their customers!

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV Needs to Step Up Their Game: A Review of Jewelry Television

This show is just not up to par. The camera angles are all wrong, making it hard to see the items they're trying to sell. The lighting is terrible, and the hosts look like they just rolled out of bed. They really need to hire some professionals to do their makeup and hair. And don't even get me started on the pointless chatter. It seems like they spend more time talking than actually showing us the products. I've tried to watch this show several times, but I always end up changing the channel because I can't stand the endless babbling.

It's a shame, really, because I would love to see some good jewelry. But most of the time, they don't even bother to show us the whole item. It's like they're trying to tease us into buying something without actually giving us any information. And when they do show us something, it's usually just sterling silver, which we all know wears off after a while.

Honestly, JTV needs to step up their game. They call themselves "Jewelry Television," but they're not living up to that name. They need better hosts, better presentations, and better jewelry. And they need to start listening to their customers. There are hundreds of reviews out there saying the same thing, but they don't seem to care.

If you're looking for quality jewelry, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other places to buy gems and metals from companies that actually care about their customers. Don't waste your time with JTV.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Mixed Experience with JTV: Good Buys and Real Duds

I gotta say, I had a pretty mixed experience with JTV. I mean, I've had some good buys, but I've also had some real duds. Let me tell you about a few of them.

First off, there was this pendant I bought back in April 2017. It was JTV Item BJO627, but the link doesn't work anymore. Anyway, I returned it the very next day and left a negative review on their site, but they never posted it. That's why I'm posting here now, with pics. I'm pretty sure they sent me a used or returned item. There were brown stains on some of the stones, and it just looked dirty and dull. Plus, the chain was cheap and had a long gray hair woven through it. Gross, right? I mean, come on, JTV, where's the quality control? It's a shame, too, because the pendant looked so pretty on TV. Some of the reviews were positive, but I guess I wasn't so lucky.

Then there was this bracelet I got in July 2016. It was JTV Item BJK401W, and it was really pretty, but the clasp was so cheap. I was afraid it would fall off my wrist at any moment. And for $99 on sale, I expected better quality.

But it's not all bad news. In March 2017, I snagged a pair of earrings on sale for $19.99 (JTV Item BJN220), and they were gorgeous! The stones were a good size, and they sparkled beautifully. Plus, the back design was really pretty, too. They reminded me of Vanna K's Bella Luce Item VKB578, but at a much better price.

So, yeah, it's definitely a mixed bag with JTV. You never know what you're going to get with Bella Luce. But hey, at least they posted my negative review of this white diamond cross pendant (JTV Item DOD070) in December 2019. I was surprised they actually let it through!

Jewelry Television (JTV) JTV: Untrustworthy Shopping Channel with Dishonest Practices and Stolen Money

JTV is not a trustworthy shopping channel. Their hosts are trained to deceive customers and make false claims to sell their products. One host, Dawn Tesh, claimed to have had breast cancer and her son had an irregular heartbeat, but both claims were proven to be false. Despite this, JTV continues to use these tactics to lure customers into buying their low-quality products.

Their sales have been declining, and it's no surprise given their dishonest practices. They even went as far as to ask for donations for a rare form of cancer that their host's niece supposedly had. It's clear that JTV will do anything to make a sale, even if it means lying to their customers.

Their customer service is also known for stealing money from customers' credit cards. One customer had $689.47 stolen from their Wells Fargo account in just two days. JTV tried to take more, but the bank caught on and only paid one overdraft. The bank threatened to file a claim against JTV if the stolen money wasn't returned immediately. It's clear that JTV cannot be trusted with customers' financial information.

If you've had dealings with JTV, it's best to close your account and get a new card with new numbers. Don't risk having your money stolen by these criminals and idiots. Stay away from JTV and their low-quality products.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Disappointing Quality and Slow Shipping: My Experience with JTV's Bella Luce CZ Line

I've been buying from JTV for a while now, and I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed with their CZ line, Bella Luce. While the items themselves are pretty, there are a few things you should know before you make a purchase.

First of all, the shipping is incredibly slow. Unless you pay extra for express shipping, you'll be waiting at least 5 days for your item to arrive. And even then, sometimes it takes up to 2 weeks. I've ordered from other companies and received my items in 3-4 days with standard shipping, so this is definitely a downside.

If you do need to return an item, it's pretty easy to do so. They provide a prepaid return label, but be aware that the shipping cost will be deducted from your return amount.

Now, let's talk about the quality of the items themselves. Every single item I've ordered has been sterling silver with rhodium plating, but they all turn black and cleaning them only makes it worse. The stones are pretty for a week at best, and then they become cloudy and no amount of cleaning helps. The settings on my necklaces and bracelets have all broken, and stones have easily fallen out. I haven't used any harsh cleaners, and I've even taken some to my jewelry store to be cleaned, but the end results are always disappointing.

I've purchased sterling silver CZ pieces from other retailers, and I wear a CZ tennis bracelet every day that I only paid $15 for, yet it's still pretty and I have no problem cleaning it. I've purchased over 10 items from JTV hoping that maybe I did something wrong, but every single time I've been disappointed.

They do offer a protection plan, but I wouldn't bother with it. It's not worth the trouble or the money. If you're just looking, go ahead and browse, but I wouldn't recommend buying anything. Especially if you plan on giving the item as a gift, save yourself the embarrassment.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Gemstones

JTV advertised online and on TV s small flower style Tanzanite ring for $19.99 free shipping. The TV presentation showed many of the rings, all were light lavender to light blue colored stones. The online advertisement showed a ring with light blue stones. The two rings I purchased arrived and instead of light lavender stones, both rings had clear stones. I returned the two rings, asking for the return postage cost to be waived. Customer Service continues to say color is not guaranteed. Customer Service suggested I just put the rings in a drawer, to give as a gift in the future. Customer Service suggested that Tanzanite is mined out, so... and never completed that sentence. Customer Service offered 10% off a future purchased of $30 or more. Customer Service refused to deal with the issue of advertised light lavender - light blue stones that were clear stones. The resolutions offered don't solve the trust issue - that I can no longer expect to received a reasonable facsimile of what is advertised! I understand colored gemstone jewelry will be within a range of color... but clear? Until Jewelry Television can offer some range of color identification in their presentation, and in the online advertisements, I will not be purchasing any longer. Sadly I will have to back away from this 30 year relationship. As they say, trust is earned in drops, and lost in buckets.

Desired outcome: JTV indicate the gemstone range of color customers can expect when purchasing. For example Tanzanite light lavender to light blue or Tanzanite clear to light lavender...so the customer knows what they are going to receive

Jewelry Television (JTV) jtv jewelry

My sister and i found a bunch! of jewelry out mom was ordering from jtv ... Told retail price much higher...Categorized as being worht much! more... She has dementia and marked a lot to return but didnt tell us about it... Going through it and taking it to jewelers to be assessed... We have been told repeatedly.. None of it it worth anywhere near what she paid for it... With the notion that it was a good investment. I contacted jtv and was told that it was past the 30 days and they would not take any of it back! alot of it still has the tags on it... All the tanzanite is from india and its worthless... One aquamarine ring...Item mmo255, 3 plus carats... Over 1000k... Has bubbles that can be seen with the naked eye... Supposedly baguette diamonds... Usually a real stone wont have bubbles and certainly not one that did should even be put into a piece of jewelry esp one that cost over 1k... I want a class acton lawyer to contact me and the president of jtv to contact me and take all this overpriced wothless crap back and refund my mother!

Desired outcome: i wld be happy jtv refunded my mother for all jewelry that still has tags esp glass aquamarine ring and tanzanites that is false advertising

Jewelry Television (JTV) Staffing

Why is there absolutely no diversity among the jtv staff/host? The lack of diversity is glaring and off putting in this day and age. I've purchased several pieces from jtv and have been satisfied with my purchases, but I don't think I can continue to shop with a company that excludes all people of color. What happened to the African American hostess that was very, very briefly on your program?

Desired outcome: JTV needs to represent a diverse cross sectional of the American population.

Jewelry Television (JTV) 2 lab grown sapphire rings.

Both rings were not stabbed not stamped with anything I can get something like this from China in fact there was a sticker on it it says made in China is that where you get your stuff? I have been a customer of yours since 1995 and I can't believe that you are sending things like this out shame on you. And customer service answer, they said that the stamp must have been misplaced or not working on the rings that went through. Have you ever heard such a thing? Absolutely amazing I'm never shopping here again.

Desired outcome: I really don't know I can return them maybe they'll have a stamp on it next time that are the sounds even really what they say I love them but I'm not going to keep them nor will I give them to someone else.

Jewelry Television (JTV) Red indian ruby sterling silver earrings

I have been a customer of JTV for many years since 1995 and have had pleasant experiences with my purchases. My most recent purchase, however, was a disappointment. On August 7, 2022 I bought what was advertised by JTV host as Indian Ruby and Zircon earrings in sterling silver. I love rubies, so I was very excited when I received my package. The "rubies" were so dull, almost artificial in appearance. I called customer service, spoke to Betty, requesting free exchange of the merchandise, but was told that they don't "handpick" the items. In other words, for the same money I am not guaranteed to receive as good quality pieces as someone else. The show host did not mention that that will be the case. I feel upset with my purchase and am not sure I will be purchasing more pieces in the future.
