Italist Refund/ return service

I ordered a coat that totaled a little over 3,200 and it didn’t fit. Their return policy stated that they charge for Returns, which I agreed to. Once they receive the item, they only refunded 2600. Their website says that all duties and taxes are included in the total price, so how does returning it deducts taxes and duties from purchaser. I’m disgusted with their customer service. I would have kept the coat had I known I’d lose 600$

Italist incorrect order

I ordered a black Marni dress for 423.00. I received instead a men's black t shirt valued at 100.00. After multiple attempts to communicate with the company via e-mail (no phone communication available through Italist) I was told I must log in to my account with them and follow the return procedures. I never made an account with them as I checked out as a guest. I have no way to return the t shirt and am now out 423.00$. I will never purchase anything from them again and would strongly discourage others form doing so. I have never had such a horrendous experience.

Italist Italist.com's lack of accountability: misleading product and poor customer service

I ordered a SS 23 Saint Laurent leather jacket worth Euros 2116 from Italist.com on 6/7/2023. However, I discovered a discrepancy between the material of the jacket I received and the information on the official Saint Laurent website.

I contacted Saint Laurent customer service with evidence, including pictures and verification, confirming that the jacket was from the 2018 Men Spring collection, not the SS 23 season as advertised. Despite presenting all the evidence, Italist.com refused to take responsibility, using the excuse that the Italist tag and boxes were removed. It became apparent that they were aware of the mistake but chose not to address it, as the item was removed from their website following my complaint.

After sharing my experience on social media, Italist.com responded, acknowledging their misleading advertising as an "unfortunate oversight" and citing "system constraints" as the reason they couldn't exchange the jacket as advertised. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, Italist.com even shifted the blame onto me by emphasizing the removal of the Italist tag and box. They only offered a refund as a resolution, as if it were a generous gesture.

Furthermore, I received confirmation from the official Saint Laurent that the jacket I bought from Nugnes via Italist.com is not an authorized retailer. Since I received an off-season SS18 item instead of the advertised SS23, raising the possibility that it was either a pre-owned item or sourced from a second-hand boutique, rather than being a brand new item. Despite my attempts to contact Italist management for clarification, they have not responded since I declined their refund option.

Italist Their fees are unbelievably high

Their fees are unbelievably high. They mention fees in their description but not how high the tariffs etc. are. I have ordered from other sites that handle these.

As a result, returning an item will basically cost the same as the item itself (over $100). This is crazy, and they were not responsive or amenable to help. Just awful.

I raised the issues with them, and they did not resolve them and then said that it was too late to return the items. I have never seen this level of service and implore anyone reading this not to order with them - I would not have if I had known.

Desired outcome: Please refund me the full amount for these items and don't charge exorbitant extra fees.

Italist Poor Customer Service and Return Policy: My Experience with Italist.com

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with italist.com. I bought some Jimmy Choo shoes, but I accidentally ordered the wrong size. I tried to contact customer service, but it was like talking to a brick wall. I couldn't get through to anyone on the phone, and my emails just bounced back with an error message. The only way I could get in touch with them was through their online chat, and even then it took them a whole day to respond.

When they finally did respond, they didn't offer me any help at all. They just sent me a link to some promotional video. I mean, come on, I know I messed up by ordering the wrong size, but couldn't they have made an exception and let me return the shoes a couple of days past the deadline? They don't even pay for return shipping, so it wouldn't have cost them anything.

Now I'm stuck with these shoes that don't fit, and I don't know what to do with them. I tried to resell them online, but I'm not having much luck. It's frustrating because I spent $300 on these shoes, and now I feel like I wasted my money.

Overall, I would say that italist.com is not a great place to shop. Their customer service is non-existent, and their return policy is pretty strict. If you're thinking about buying something from them, I would recommend that you proceed with caution.

Italist Shady and Disappointing: My Experience with Italist

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with italist. I ordered this skirt that looked super cute on the website, but when it arrived it was way too big. I followed their size guide and everything, but it just didn't fit right. So I decided to return it. And let me tell you, that was a whole ordeal in itself.

First of all, I had to pay for the return shipping myself. Which, okay, I guess I can understand that. But then they hit me with the customs duties. Apparently I had to pay for them to import the product back to Italy? That makes no sense to me. I used to work at an international trade firm and I know for a fact that there shouldn't be any import duties charged for returning goods to the shipment country. Especially when the shipment country is also the country of origin! And get this - the product I bought was made in Italy! So why am I being charged to send it back there?

The wording they use to explain the import charges is super vague too. I feel like they're trying to hide something. And to top it all off, they don't even refund the customs duties you paid when you first bought the item. Like, if they're gonna make you pay for it upfront, they should at least give you your money back if you return the item. It's just not right.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with italist. It just seems like a shady operation to me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Italist Italist.com Review: Authentic Alexander McQueen Double Belt With Chain for $400 Less!

I was on the hunt for an Alexander McQueen Double Belt With Chain and saw it in the Alexander McQueen store. I was in love with it, but it was way too expensive for me. I tried to find something similar, but no luck. I was feeling hopeless until I stumbled upon Italist.com! They had the exact same belt, but for $400 USD less! I was sold! I was worried that the item might be a knock-off, used or damaged, but Italist assured me that it was a brand new, name brand item in perfect condition. And they were telling the truth! The belt arrived in perfect condition and was clearly an original item. I was shocked at how quickly it arrived. It arrived within a week! I couldn't believe it. I had to pay customs and tax, but it was still $500 less than buying it here.

So, I bought the exact same item that I would have purchased directly at an Alexander McQueen store, it came in perfect brand-new condition, arrived promptly and saved me over $500 in total cost. I would definitely purchase at Italist.com again and would highly recommend buying from this site.

Italist Shady Business Practices: My Experience with italist

I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty bad experience with italist. I bought a Balmain Blazer on 4/9/2020 and when it arrived, it was all messed up. There were wrinkles, lint all over the fabric, and even a big ol' stain on the collar. It definitely didn't look new to me. So, I did what any reasonable person would do and requested a return label from italist and shipped the blazer back as directed. I also asked for a full refund, since I paid good money for a new blazer and that's not what I got.

But here's where things get real shady. italist only refunded part of my money! Can you believe that? I sent several emails to customer service, but only got a reply from some guy named Lorenzo. He didn't even tell me how much my refund would be, just that it would be refunded within 48 hours. And then, he never replied to my last email requesting the full refund I paid for a new blazer totaling $1084.57. Instead, they only refunded $933.69 and kept $150.88 of my hard-earned cash. That's just straight-up theft, if you ask me.

And get this, they claim that the money they kept is to pay for return shipping costs and for duties and courier fees. But why should I have to pay for that when I received a defective item? And what's even weirder is that they're located in Los Angeles, so why are they charging me for duties and courier fees? It just doesn't add up.

So, let me give you some advice: DO NOT BUY FROM ITALIST. Unless, of course, you're ready to lose your money. They're a bunch of crooks who will rip you off and keep your stuff to resell. Trust me, you're better off shopping somewhere else.

Italist Italist.com Review: Poor Customer Service and Questionable Authenticity of Luxury Items

I recently made a purchase on italist.com for a D&G devotion bag. When I received the package, I immediately noticed that all the tags were cut off and just placed next to the bag. However, the Italist tag itself was still attached to the bag. I also noticed a strong perfume smell coming from the dust bag that came with it, which was ripped and had stains all over it.

I contacted their customer support right away and was told that they would send me a new dust bag. However, when I asked about the tags being cut off, they told me that their partners ship bags without tags to avoid damaging the leather in transit. I found this hard to believe, especially since other sellers I reached out to confirmed that this was not true.

I asked them multiple times how they require all tags to be attached in order to return something, but it's okay for them to send an item without tags. They refused to answer and instead told me that they could no longer send me a new dust bag and that I needed to return everything ASAP. However, since I had cut off the Italist tag, they told me that I couldn't return it. They haven't responded to any of my emails since then.

Overall, I'm 100% sure that the bag is pre-owned. While it doesn't have any signs of wear, it was still pre-owned, which would be okay if I was shopping for that kind of bag. However, since they sell luxury items, authenticity and customer service should be a top priority. Unfortunately, I can't trust this seller and would not recommend them to anyone.

Italist Italist.com Review: Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Damaging - Use at Your Own Risk!

I gotta say, I tried out italist.com to snag a pair of $$$ boots that were supposedly the last pair available. But when I went to pay, the website froze and asked me to fill out the payment fields again. I waited a bit, but nothing happened, so I paid again, thinking the first attempt didn't go through. But then, I got hit with not one, but two receipts for the same pair of boots! What the heck, man? I never authorized two sales of the same boots, and how were there even two pairs available when they were advertised as the last pair?

Turns out, there was some kind of glitch on italist's end that caused them to take a huge chunk of money from my credit card, which put me in overdraft and made me pay interest on their mistake. When I reached out to their customer service team, they told me I had to pay for all the shipping and taxes to return the boots, and they didn't even address my concerns about paying interest on my credit card. And then, they just stopped answering my emails altogether, even when I asked them to call me to sort things out.

Honestly, the way this company handled their own mistake was completely unprofessional, damaging, and downright criminal. And even after I received both pairs of boots, they were still advertising another pair in the exact same size as the "last pair." What a bunch of liars!

I've shopped online plenty of times, but I've never experienced such disrespect, arrogance, and dishonesty from any company. And it's no wonder they don't have a phone line - they just don't want to deal with their customers until they're forced to.

So, if you're thinking about using italist.com, I'd think again. They're not to be trusted, and they'll ignore you if anything goes wrong. Use at your own risk, folks - consider yourselves warned!

Italist Italist.com Review: Terrible Experience with Wrong Product and Shipping Fees

I recently had a terrible experience with italist.com. I ordered a product worth around 240 dollars, but unfortunately, I received the wrong item. When I tried to return it, I was shocked to find out that I had to pay an additional 40 dollars for shipping fees. This made me wonder if italist.com is just a scam website that makes money by sending the wrong products and collecting shipping fees for returns.

To make matters worse, their online customer chat is completely useless. It is an automatic robot that doesn't even bother to reply to your messages. They set the chat to show that there are always two people in the line, but by the time it gets to you, there is only an automatic message telling you to write emails to state your issues. And guess what? They won't reply to your emails either!

It's also worth noting that italist.com is only founded in Italy, but they definitely do not ship from Italy. This made me question the legitimacy of their products. Why would an online retailer website continually emphasize that their products are legitimate? It just doesn't make sense.

I only bought my glasses on italist.com because it was a past season product and was out of stock on other websites. However, it turned out to be a waste of money because it wasn't even the right one. And to top it off, their shipping system is incredibly delayed, which means I have to return it by paying my own money.

I'm so frustrated with italist.com that I created a new account just to write this review. I don't understand why they don't answer any emails, and I can't even upload pictures on their website. It's clear that they don't care about their customers.

If you're looking for luxury products, I suggest going to a website that has an actual store or mall, or just go to the brand's official website. Don't waste your time and money on italist.com. I will not only write reviews on this website but also on Chinese Weibo, Little Red Book, and Japanese social media with pictures too. Avoid this website at all costs!

Italist Disappointing Experience with italist.com: Refused Refund for Damaged Bag

I had a really bad experience shopping on italist.com! I spent a lot of money on a bag, but when I received it, it was damaged! I was so disappointed and immediately took photos of the damage and contacted their customer service. They told me to send the bag back and promised me a refund. However, when they received the package, they refused to give me a refund and even tried to force me to buy the damaged bag! I felt like they didn't care about my safety as a consumer and I was really upset with their behavior.

What bothered me the most was that they didn't seem to care about finding out why the bag was damaged in the first place. They didn't ask their boutique partners if they were using proper packaging or if they were taking any measures to prevent damage during shipping. They also didn't investigate the courier company to see if they were handling packages properly. It felt like they were just trying to push the blame onto me and force me to accept a damaged product.

Another thing that bothered me was that they didn't seem to be very careful when checking the photos and information provided by their partners. They didn't make sure that the photos were taken before the item was shipped to me, and they didn't check to see if the boutique partner was being honest about the item's condition. It made me wonder if they were intentionally selling damaged items and trying to deceive consumers.

Overall, I think italist.com needs to take more responsibility for the products they sell and the partners they work with. They should apologize and offer refunds when consumers receive damaged items, and they should work with their partners to ensure that products are shipped safely and securely. Italist Deceitful and Disappointing: My Experience with Italist's Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase on Italist.com for a pair of Adidas Originals '032c Salvation' Shoes. The total cost was $137.44, but unfortunately, the shoes were too large when I received them on June 12th. I was disappointed to find that there was very little information about the shoes on the website, which made it difficult for me to determine the correct size for women. I reached out to Italist customer support for assistance, but their response was not helpful. They simply told me that they do not offer exchanges and that I should do my own research or try them on at a luxury boutique during a pandemic.

I decided to return the shoes and was shocked to find out that Italist would only reimburse me $87 from the original cost. This meant that I would be paying approximately $50 to return a pair of shoes that did not fit due to a lack of information on their website. I was frustrated with the lack of transparency and the hidden fees that were not disclosed on the website. I tried to contact customer support again, but I received the same canned responses.

To make matters worse, I scheduled a DHL pickup for the return on June 15th, but no one showed up. It was a huge inconvenience and added to my frustration with the whole experience. Italist's return policy states that customers will receive a refund for the price of the order, excluding shipping costs, customs duties, and/or courier charges incurred. However, there is no way to calculate these fees, which makes it difficult for customers to make informed decisions.

After doing some research, I found that many other customers have had similar experiences with Italist. They have complained about hidden fees and a lack of transparency on the website. It is disappointing to see a company that claims to offer luxury fashion items treat their customers in such a deceitful manner. I demand a full refund of $137.44 once the shoes are returned, and I hope that Italist will take steps to improve their customer service and be more transparent about their fees in the future.

Italist Terrible Experience with Italist: Package Not Delivered, Poor Customer Service, and No Resolution

I recently had a terrible experience with Italist, an online shopping website. I ordered a pair of shoes on November 21, 2021, but did not receive my package by December 1, 2021. I reached out to Italist to inquire about my order, but it took them until December 2, 2021 to respond and open a ticket to help resolve the issue.

When Italist finally responded, they sent me a photo of the proof of delivery from DHL, but it showed a house that was not mine. I informed Italist of this and let them know that the package was not delivered to my home. I even checked with my neighbors, but the package was not delivered on my street. Despite this, Italist asked me to wait 14 days for them to investigate the issue.

On December 6, 2021, Italist sent me an email stating that DHL had delivered the package and attached the photo again. I reminded them that the package was not delivered to my home and that someone had changed the delivery instructions and added an address in a city that I have never been to. I also let them know that my signature was released without my authorization or confirmation.

Despite my repeated attempts to get a response from Italist, they went silent after my email on December 7th. I reached out to them multiple times via email, Facebook, and Instagram, but never received a response. It wasn't until January 4th, 2022 that I finally received a response from Italist, but it was not a satisfactory one. They told me that DHL was unable to open an investigation since more than 30 days had passed since the delivery date.

I am extremely disappointed with Italist's lack of customer service and follow-up. I have sent numerous emails and messages, but have not received any response or resolution to my issue. At this point, I am requesting a replacement order or a full refund. It is unacceptable for a company to treat their customers in this manner, and I would not recommend Italist to anyone.

Italist Terrible Experience with Italist: Payment Rejected and No Customer Service Response

I had a really bad experience with Italist. I wanted to buy a Loewe bag, but I had trouble paying for it. I tried using several different Visa and Mastercards, but they were all rejected. I even contacted my three different credit card issuing banks, and they all said that the payment was approved by the bank, but declined by Italist.

I tried to get in touch with Italist customer care four times, but I didn't get any response at all. It was the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. I mean, even the customer service and payment system at my local supermarket are better than theirs.

I really don't understand how they're still in business. It's frustrating to have your money tied up in a purchase that you can't complete, and it's even more frustrating when you can't get any help from the company. I wouldn't recommend Italist to anyone.

Italist Disappointing Experience with italist.com: Damaged Shoes and Impersonal Customer Service

I recently purchased a pair of shoes from italist.com and was disappointed to find that they arrived damaged. Unfortunately, when I reached out to customer service, I was met with an impersonal response that seemed to be copied and pasted. Despite the fact that italist claims to sell high quality authentic luxury goods, there was no accountability or forgiveness on the part of the seller.

To make matters worse, I was asked to pay the costs of the sales tax on top of the new item if I wanted to exchange the damaged shoes. This seemed unfair to me, especially since I had already paid for a product that was not in the condition it was advertised to be in.

What really frustrated me was the fact that there was no way to contact a corporate number or office. It felt like italist was hiding behind a veil of anonymity, which made me question their loyalty to their customers. After all, how can you trust a business that doesn't even have a physical location or phone number?

All in all, I just want italist to offer some kind of compensation for the damaged shoes. Italist Italist Review: Poor Customer Service and Refund Policy

So, I recently bought a bag from Italist and when it arrived, I was pretty disappointed to see that it was scratched and the handles were bent to one side. I mean, who wants to receive a damaged product, right? So, I decided to contact their customer service to let them know about the issue. They told me that I could ship it back and I would receive a full refund, which I thought was fair enough.

However, when I received the refund, I noticed that there was a difference of $220 that they weren't willing to pay. I mean, come on, that's a lot of money! I'm not sure what exchange rate they are using, but clearly it is in their favour. I shouldn't be out one dime for something that was damaged. It's not like I asked for a refund for no reason, right?

To make matters worse, they tried to offer me a discount on a future purchase. But why would I want to buy from a company that sent me something already damaged? That's just ridiculous! I mean, I don't want to be scammed, and I'm sure you don't either. So, my advice to you is to spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of other online stores that offer better customer service and won't scam you out of your hard-earned money.

Italist Disappointing Experience with Italist.com: Inaccurate Description and Frustrating Return Process

So, I recently bought a belt from italist.com and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. The description of the item was not accurate at all, and I was really disappointed when I received it. I had no choice but to return it, but that's when the real trouble started.

I tried to send them messages, but I never got a response. I sent several emails asking about the fee and cost for returning the item, but I couldn't get a straight answer. All they kept saying was "please refer to our return policy," which was not helpful at all. I had no idea how much I would be charged for the return.

In the end, I decided to send the item back anyway, but only via DHL per Italist's rule. After a week or so, they finally sent me an email saying that my return was accepted, but the charge for the return was outrageous. They charged me $40 for shipping and an additional $27.42 for duties and courier fees. I was shocked!

Honestly, I would not recommend buying from italist.com. If you're thinking about it, think twice. The return process is expensive and frustrating, and the customer service is not helpful at all. Save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else.

Italist Beware of italist.com: Poor Customer Service and Refund Policy

I recently made a purchase on italist.com for a Balmain skirt. Unfortunately, the skirt was too small and I had to return it. I followed the instructions provided and sent the skirt back with all the tags attached. The next day, I received confirmation that the item had been received by italist.

However, a few weeks later, I received an email from italist stating that the skirt had a pulled thread and was considered to be damaged. As a result, they denied my refund. I was extremely disappointed with this outcome. Despite the fact that I had already paid for the return costs, which amounted to around $120, italist now wanted me to pay for the shipping of the item back to me.

I must say that I was very upset about the situation. I would not recommend using italist to anyone. It seems that they will do anything to deny a refund, even if it means causing their customers to lose money. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be using italist again in the future.

Overall, I would advise anyone thinking of using italist to be very cautious. While they may offer some good deals on designer items, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If you do decide to use italist, make sure to read the fine print carefully and be prepared for the possibility of having to fight for a refund.
