on 16th January I drop off my car to Hyundai Springfield because it had an Oil Leak. In the afternoon as I was about to fetch it, I was told they're still busy with it. Kevin told me he doesn't have a courtesy car to give me, instead he arranged one of his staff member to drop me off at home that evening.
I do respect that they're dealing my car, but the problem is, I need to go to work, drop off and fetch the kids from school, how am I supposed to travel.
This is no fault of mine, been using public Transport in that rain with my kids

Anti-theft software upgrade
On 01/18/2024, Jim Ellis Huyndai, 30341, installed a recall Anti-Theft Software Upgrade.
When I park the car, I can't get the key out.
The manager said it needs a needs a new shifter mechanism.
The manager said I can go to my preffered place to fix it.
I told the manager I'm leaving the car with him to fix it.
I have never heard back from him.

I paid my car off on 10-16-23 I have been trying to get my gap refund back for over two months. I talked to a supervisor on 12-20-23 and was told a check would be overnighted to me. I have yet to see a check. They say they have sent out 3 checks and there is no way because I have never received one. I am calling channel 5 news to have them do something about the $906 I am suppose to be getting back or should have had over 2 months ago.
do not buy a car from Hyuandai if you pay it off you will not get your money back they keep your money!

Good day,
I bought my Huyndai I20 (2019 mode) brand new from Huyndai Outshoorn.
I did all my services with them.
Now 4 years later with only 36,200km on the clock I found out my clutch and Master unit is done.
I am struggling almost two weeks now from Huyndai to just get help from them.
This forced me to put in leave and drove to George 80km to the second nearest Huyndai. They now told me they only see two services done by Huyndai, but my service book is stamped 3 times.
My car was in February 2023 with Huyndai when i First noticed something is wrong with my clutch and according to them at that time there is nothing wrong-- If they actually did something-- I doubt it.
now 6 months later my clutch complety broke and they refuse to help me.
Claimed loss: Clutch with master Unit and my car was still under waranty when i took it to them to report the problem.
Desired outcome: or Huyndai to please contact me atleast and help me to sort out this problem.. there is no way a Clutch need to be repaired after 36,000km

Repairs
I'm absolutely disgusted with the service from hyundai.
Two vehicles broken down,3 months and waiting for one to be repaired in rustenburg,6 weeks and waiting for the other one to be repaired in middelburg.
All I get is excuses and excuses, even that the mechanic working on one of my vehicles are mentally ill and can't do the job.
Never will I buy a fleet of this vehicles again in my life!

Headlights on creta
I bought a Hyundai Creta 1.5 Premium in 2021.
In 2022 we took a long road trip driving at night and we discovered that there is no way to set the headlight when the vehicle is loaded.
I looked in the manual I noticed that the vehicle is without such a button to set the headlight.
All my previous cars had buttons like that, even my dad's vehicles in the 80's.
The vehicle has been in the workshop 4 times the last few years to "fix" the lights.
Seems to me the model is only supposed to have the xenon lights which does not require the headlight setting.
Desired outcome: To get my headlights replaced to be able to drive with a load without people flashing their headlights.

i had an accident 3 months ago. i have since been without a car since then because the repairer put an order through to hyundai and have been waiting since for the parts to be delivered. i have also contacted Hyundai myself and everytime the ETA is delayed further and further and no one knows why or can assist me further or at least provide a reason for such a delay. it is really disheartening considering you see their cars everywhere for them to not have parts readily available.
Desired outcome: i would like the outstanding part to be delivered asap so that my car can get fixed.

I drive a 2015 Hyundai i20 Motion, I noticed the paint peeling on the boot Panels . I called Hyundai Fourways South Africa on 06/10/2023 and was asked to bring my car in for the Inspection as this problem has been common with my vehicle type. I took the car in on 10/10/2023 whereby an Inspection was conducted and a claim filed. I received a call today 12/10/2023 advising me that my claim was denied due to it not being in the 7 year period. This is ridiculous as the paint didn't start peeling until now. I purchased my car in March 2016 which this year will make it 7 years I have had it and yet I am being held accountable for this. To me it seems like they losing a lot of money due to the their factory defect and we are being held accountable. I will not accept this as Hyundai widely advertises that they a brand of service excellence yet I am not seeing this. This is not my problem that they did a recall due to a factory defect. I want this resolved.

Good day, I took my Hyundai Creta for its 15 000 km service to the Bloemfontein branch on 3 August 2023. They asked whether I want them to take my car for wheel balancing and I said yes and also requested that they rotate my tires. I experienced that my tires from the moment I received my car back as very sensitive and I presumed that the pressure was maybe too high. When I had the pressure checked they were pimped at 3 bar and I had the pressure lowered to 2.2 bar. It made only a small difference but life is busy and I only asked my husband a month later to have a look at my tires as they seem to be too smooth. Then someone today made the comment that they see I am driving with airplane tires at the front and the I made him check and to our shock saw that my tires was dangerously smooth the two front tires were which is impossible for a vehicle at this stage with little bit more than 18 000 km on the clock. The two back tires still look new as should be. I bought it as new.
Desired outcome: I want my tires back ! It might not have happened at the workshop but at the place they send my car too to be balanced but I left my car in their, Bloemfontein Hyundai service center's care
