On Wednesday, 17 September 2014. I called a few Hyundai dealerships to try and get the best deal for the i10 grand currently running on special. while cost comparing I received a call from the Hyundai manager(Bradley) in Pinetown accusing me of being unethical and saying I don't have the right to mention his quote because his manager has shouted at him. I told him that this is my right and that I do not appreciate his tone of voice. 2012 November i bought hyundainix35. imwas told that the car is under warranty.in August i parked the car in Pimville in a yard. after starting and drove towards the gate i realised a smoke coming out of the bonnet. i called Hyundai the Glen to tow it.i was told that the clash got burnt and it cost R37000. i was told to pay R1500 for towing and gear oil. my question why shoul i pay when the car i under warranty. i am not happy. and i am prepared to take this matter to consumer complains an ti all kinds of media.

I would like to begin by saying that I am very disappointed and discussed about the after sales service delivery I received at Hyundai Centurion . I am also a service provider and I myself do understand that one cannot always make everyone happy and mistakes will occur. For this reason I was very lenient at first and on a continuous basis I was patient and more than understanding. But after the way I was treated with little respect and arrogance I am now sick and tired of being the nice guy with Hyundai. And at Hyundai Centurion the nice guys comes second.

Hyundai - Excessive expensive maintenance

Today, I received my 30, 000 mile 2012 Sonata maintenance and the dealer listed the price as being $788.00. It seems someone at Hyundai decided to have all the fluids replaced at 30, 000 miles, which seems completely unnecessary, unless Hyundai is attempting to have the vehicle owner pay excessively in order to give the Hyundai dealership more income. If I had known that the maintenance service would have required unnecessary replacement of all the fluids and it would have cost me $788.00, I would not have purchased the vehicle....

I went to the dealer to possibly purchase a new car and after going back and forth for the final purchase price with them, they were going to give only $500 for my 2003 Hyundai elantra, .which of course I did not accept. Later I found out, that the $500 were suppose to give it to me anyway as a loyalty client. They wanted me to give them my car for nothing. How about that!. Anybody going to that dealership should do their homework before making a purchase, otherwise you are going to be ripped off....

As an existing client for ±16 years I am very frustrated with the way my problems are handled!
On the day of the 19th December I bought and fetch my “brand new” IX35 from Hyundai dealership in Germiston. As every person that byes a brand new car I also expected to get the best value out from my car, as well as professional assistance from the dealership, but unfortunately this was not the case!
From day one I had problems with the car and It was brought under the salesman’s attention, the Manager and also Head office on numerous occasions…and endless...

I have a H100 bakkie which on its 60000km service did not have it's gearbox oil changed as the dealer had no oil available. They said they'll contact me to replace it. On 70000km I contacted the dealer and inquired about the oil. They looked on system and realised that it needed to be done. They said they will do it on the next service where I informed them that the next services will be done privately. They promised to contact me in regards to oil change. After visiting many dealers and test driving a number of vehicles I decided upon the Hyundai Accent GLS as my first car purchase ever. The deal was signed at Hyundai Boksburg. When I went to take delivery of the car I immediately noticed a chip on the passenger front door. I was already disappointed as it was meant to be a branch new car with no scratches or chips. I was told I could bring it back the following week to have it fixed. Have had consistently bad service throughout my warranty with Victoria Hyundai. Long waits in line, for service advisers are common. There are up to hour-long waits for shuttles, and once in the shuttle it has taken as long as an hour to be shuttled hom, because of the numerous stops that are made ahead of mine.

Purchased a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata along with their Diamond wrap around service to ensure I was totally protected for my new car. It is still under warranty. On 12/12/12 I made full payment (Rs 551198/ plus my old car valued at 40000/ ) for an i10 car to Pramukh car riders, a Hyundai car dealer at prabhadevi, mumbai. Delivery was promised on 18th.
On 13th they took away my old car along with original papers.
On 14th, I paid Rs 4249/ for change of color.
After encashing all the monies paid by me, and taking away my old car, a week later, on the day of delivery, they demanded rs 30000/ more citing vague reasons.
They refused to deliver or to return my old vehicle or the money paid by me.
More shocking was the behavior...

I purchased a demo model accent in August 2012, after waiting over a week for the car, with little feedback from Hyundai, we finally received it without it being licenced in my name. I only found this out when I went to look for the service/log book etc. It is now 6 weeks later, and after numerous calls and visits to Hyundai, with NO feedback from them, I still do not have any paper work for the car. They have promised us this numerous times and head office was also supposed to get back to me. We have dealt with the manager at the Menlyn branch 2 weeks ago, who promised this would be rectified ASAP.
